Naruto froze, unable to fathom what he just heard.

''What? You mind repeating that Pervy Sage?"

Jiraiya sighed, he knew that there would a negative reaction, but atlas, Naruto needed to hear the truth. He was bound to hear it anyways. "It's as I said the first time Naruto. The council is having a meeting about the recent retrieval mission you partook in. They're discussing whether to banish you or not.''

Naruto's frozen form shook as he took in the news. He couldn't be banished. He was going to become Hokage! Yeah, he was going to be Hokage. There was no possible way this was true. Jiraiya was just playing a prank on him. Yeah! That was definitely it. *' Just a prank!'* Naruto thought as his sapphire eyes instantly glimmered with hope. That certainty quickly washed faster from Naruto's visage than a baby turtle swept away by the tides. It was all plastered on Jiraya's face. The dejected look of his eyes coupled with the fact that Jiraya was avoiding eye contact.

The dam broke loose. "Why? What did I do to deserve this?"

''It's because you hurt the precious Uchiha traitor.''

"What? What in the flying ramen fucks was I supposed to do?" Naruto asked rhetorically. "Set up a tea party and explain to Sasuke he shouldn't abandon the village? He wasn't willing to reason!" It was a telling sign that bad things were coming Konoha's way if the so-called village idiot was thinking more rationally than the civilian council. How they get seats within the council was beyond Jiraiya. "Bastards keep kissings Sasuke's ass! Those bastards will even make the damned bastard Hokage just to appease him!"

"Naruto!" Jiraiya exclaimed without warning, startling the Uzumaki in the process. "I have an idea how to turn this around in your favour!"

Naruto, along with Jiraiya entered the council room.

They looked around the room and taking sight of the council members sitting around a U-shaped table with the Hokage sitting right smack in the middle. Naruto raised an eyebrow when he noticed that the shinobi council weren't present at all. Odd seeing this was council meeting pertaining to two shinobi, so they should've been here. But Naruto Knew that the civilian council somehow had a role in this, probably because the shinobi council weren't baised against them. The civilian council couldn't let the shinobi council get in the way of enacting their "righteous justice" after all.

Averting his eyes to elsewhere, Naruto took in the sight of Sasuke Uchiha sitting on one side of the recently built council podium. His arms crossed, eyes closed and simply waited. Sensing that someone was looking at him, Sasuke opened his eyes only to scowl when he saw the loser.

He had much better things to do. Like brooding!

With the instructions of the Anbu commander, Naruto sat down at the other side of the podium, much like Sasuke, waiting for everything to unfold. If this worked, then Konoha was in for a rude awakening.

"Naruto Uzumaki are you aware of why you're here?" A man started the talks. A man Naruto knew too well as Danzo Shimura. The old man, Hiruzen Sarutobi always told them about Danzo and how one was to always be cautious around him.

"Well yes. I am aware of why I am here. It's because I kicked Sasuke's ass so hard he cried to the council like a little sissy baby bitch.''

''While what you say is crude, your assessment of the situation is not incorrect Uzumaki." Naruto nodded in appreciation. Looks like he wasn't alone in his dislike for Sasuke. Maybe Danzo isn't too bad.

"Danzo! How dare you insult Uchiha-sama?!' Demanded Genta Kojima, one of the more vocal members of the civilian council. It was because of him that Naruto had struggles with obtaining food from food vendors within the village. The bastard using his money and reputation within the village to "convince" shopkeepers to sell anything to Uzumaki.

Lucky for Naruto that the Ichiraku family didn't care much about this bastard or his money/reputation.

"Because shut up." Naruto inwardly chuckled when he heard that. He definitely was going to use that line. "Anyways, Naruto the civilian council has decided to have you banished from the hidden leaf village for harming the Uchiha!"

Naruto could only roll his eyes when the council room erupted in cheers.

"Yes! Banish the demon!"

"We're finally getting rid of the demon!"

"You are aware the third Hokage's decree is still active right?" Tsunade enquired. A small bluff could never hurt anyone.

"D-E-M-O-N B-R-AT. What does that spell? Demon brat!"

'The power of the civilian council is too much for me!' Tsunade thought with a grimace as she sunk in her seat.

"Uchiha-sama! Uchiha-sama!"

Not wanting to hear these bigots any longer, Naruto spoke as he shook his head. "You people treat Sasuke, the guy who did nothing but exist like he's your saviour/messiah. You might as well make the bastard the Hokage.'' The civilian council members all had the proverbial lightbulb appear atop their heads.

''What a glorious idea! Let's have Uchiha-sama become the Hokage right this instant! We will become all-mighty under his rulership!'' Mebuki Haruno screeched as she placed the Hokage blood stamp in front of Sasuke. "Just mark this stamp in your blood then you'll become Hokage Uchiha-sama.''

Sasuke did as he was instructed and thus became the new Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato!

"I, as the new Hokage, call for the immediate execution of the civilian council! For it is not only the will of the Hokage, but it's also the will of the fire daiymo."

Silence.

No one dared to utter a thing. Did Sasuke Uchiha just order for the execution of the civilian council? The same people within the government who always fell over themselves for him and did as he beckoned? Why did...

Forming the ram seal, Sasuke released the transformation jutsu. His form changed as his jet black hair now matched the brightest sunshine. His dark eyes turned sapphire blue and three whisker-like marks adorning each of his cheeks.

''That explains it.'' Tsunade summed up, gleeful with the turn of events. Finally a worthy successor. Now all that was left to do was to hit the casinos to celebrate this joyous occasion.

The other Naruto simply disappeared with a poof knowing it was no longer needed but not before sending a smirk as well a flip of the bird to the civilian council.

With Jiraiya stepping in and providing the documented proof of the daiymo desire the not only the disbandment but as well execution of the civilian council, Konohagakure had finally been freed of the cancerous parasite. It was a good thing the daiymo was a fan of Icha Icha.

The door to the council room flew open as everyone turned to see how had the gall to barge in. "I'm here for the council meeting," Sasuke said as he strode into the room like he had owned the place. He would make sure Naruto would be banished for getting in the way of his vengeance! He was an Uchiha! An eli...

"Sasuke Uchiha, I, Naruto Uzumaki, the rokudaime of Konohagakure no Sato, hereby banish you!"

"What? Why?"

"Because shut up."

Without having any form of defence, Sasuke Uchiha had been banished from the village and was never heard from again.

The reason for that was because he had attempted to conquer the war-torn lands of the west., Believing he can become emperor of some sort. An emperor with the power to get revenge upon Naruto and Konoha, but he made a fatal error. An error that consisted of making demands of the warriors to teach him all they knew and looking down on them like they were sub-human scum.

Unlike the people of Konoha, the western warriors weren't taking any shit from the Uchiha and killed him off.
