(Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time since I last written, but I'm wondering how you all are doing and if I've returned to my previous writing strength as I had before all the craziness in RL took it's toll on me. So I'm hoping that with this chapter I can gain some idea from you, the readers, if I have regained my writing ability after my hiatus. Please hold back reviewing and voting until AFTER you read this chapter.

Hot Rod was going through his final medical exam. He got a clean bill of health, and had to remember that he couldn't let his anger get the better of him or he'd… regress. And he couldn't... not now since the Autobots and Republic needed him for the war. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling wondering, 'How much longer can this war go on?'

Looking out into the bustling city of Coruscant, Hot Rod thought, 'I don't want the people of this galaxy to fall like we did...'

Meanwhile, in another part of the Ark, the Build team were working on a new project. It was based on that phenomenon where the hyperspace drives, combined with the energy emitters onboard the Ark, were able to make a portal that was as powerful as the initial space bridge portal that was used when the Ark and Nemesis had left Cybertron during the Exodus. There weren't any inter-dimensional corridors as there were in the Space Bridges used in the Golden Age, or in Hyperspace that the natives used in this galaxy.

Wedge sighed and kept working, not caring that he was getting tired, or that his optics were being over used by these strenuous hours of working.

Heavy Load was getting worried, as he and the others on the team were able to go into proper rest while their leader was overworking himself to get a new project done. He approached Wedge with a small container filled with Energon and said, "Wedge… you need to shut down for the night. We're getting worried you're over doing it, again."

"Oh come on, Heavy Load! I don't need Energon. I need to get this problem solved!" Wedge snapped, whacking the container away.

Heavy Load sighed, picked up the container and said, "Why not ask the scientists still onboard? Jetfire must've been back from his mission right about now."

"Please, all those scientists care about logic and what IS possible instead of what COULD be possible." Wedge said, remembering how, before the war, that he was sent away from the science academy due to the fact that many of his ideas were too "out there", unpredictable and too impossible to be true. Much like the Rust Plague that led to the decline of Cybertron and then the war.

Heavy Load sighed, He sat down, telling his small leader, "Yeah, but the scientists with us aren't like those guys. Not sure about the prof though. Besides your systems will overheat if you don't rest."

Wedge kept working. He sighed, not getting anywhere right now, and stated, "Fine…"

Looking over the equations, Heavy Load asked, "So what're you having trouble with?"

"It's the blasted cooling system." Wedge said after taking a swig of Energon. Placing it down, he turned to the muscle (and the big brother) of his team and stated, "I've noticed how the energy relays for the shields were getting heated up on both our ship and the Republic Cruisers that towed the Ark for us. And the problem is that we may need to find a way to keep the relays necessary for making the Warp Gate from overheating and shorting everything out. The duration needed to get back to Cybertron, explain what's going on, and how long it'll take to get everything to bring in more help will cause the gate to melt, if not explode, which could be bad for everyone."

Heavy Load thought about what his young leader said and suggested, "What about those lightsaber things the Jedi use? Couldn't you find out how they keep their weapons from exploding like that?"

"Yeah right… they're more tightly lipped about their secrets than Alpha Trion is about his past. No way I'm gonna find out how they keep their weapons from overheating and exploding. That'll risk the alliance we have with them…" Wedge groaned placing his head over his arms. The futility of this was giving him a processor-ache…

Heavy Load thought about it. Closing his optics behind his visor and asked, "What about adding an intake and outtake ventilation system designed to keep the relays cool? I mean that's how our organic friends seem to be able keep themselves cool but also breathe to survive."

Wedge scoffed at the idea before he felt a spark of inspiration in his processor. He then asked, "What did they say was the fuel for their hyper space technology?"

Heavy Load thought about it and said, "Umm… Coaxium."

Wedge nodded, going over the data that he gathered from when the warp gate opened and said, "You know how everything on Cybertron was made from Energon as an elemental basis?"

"Uh… yeah?" Heavy Load said, confused as to why his young leader asked such a question. It was what all construction teams were taught.

Wedge waved his friend over, "Come look at this."

The larger yellow armored bot looked and asked his younger leader, "Whoa… are those readings right?"

"Your optics aren't deceiving you big bud. The energy output of the two energy sources was enough to put everything we know about interdimensional travel." Wedge said, continuing, "but it also leads to the same problem of the device heating up as we saw before introducing ourselves to the republic."

Heavy Load then asked, "Well I was looking over the information about the Hyperspace technology that the people of this galaxy use and it seems that due to how the those drives' chambers are coated with the stuff, it's why the ships are able to enter hyperspace so affectively."

"In other words almost like our basic metals." Wedge said, remembering how the cybermatter that made up their bodies, and everything metal from Cybertron was a solidified form of Energon.

Heavy Load grinned and said, "We need to see Bluestreak."

The two of them rushed over to Engineering where Bluestreak was and propose an idea involving the phenomenon that occurred when they entered that portal that got them to Coruscant in an instant. Showing Bluestreak the data in relation to how similar yet more effective this Warp portal compared to Space Bridge. Bluestreak was amazed by the data and asked, "You guys certain of this? I mean the likelihood of an actual hybridization of an alien fuel source being compatible with our lifeblood is astronomical. But since you showed me this data… it's very possible of it working accurately. The only foreseeable problem I can tell is the overheating that the necessary hyper drives will experience which may cause it to explode."

"We were thinking of that and Heavy Load thinks it might be possible for instant ventilation where the Hyperdrive is allowing continuous cooling on the drive and power converter needed to make the portal." Wedge pointed out. Bring up the designs for the prototype of the Warp Gate.

Bluestreak looked at the prototype design and thought about it. He then said, "I think this might be a better design for what we need."

As the build team members had made the device look like that they would only need one Hyperdrive along with a replica of the components necessary to make it similar to the ancient Spacebridge tower to make the portal. Bluestreak suggested that the device would require only a ring stabilizers composed of multiple Hyperdrives to resemble the newer space bridge device to make the portal. They would also need experimental energy recyclers and connect them to the emitters to keep the flow of energy continuous. Wedge wasn't so keen of using something that hadn't been proven, they had little choice if they wanted to try and bring every available Autobot left on Cybertron to this galaxy. For the future generations of Cybertronians to be born, those assembled there cannot afford to make any mistakes in this.

Once they were able to get the designs agreed upon, the engineer and builders approached Kup with Perceptor. Initially Perceptor was against the idea; but Bluestreak was able to convince him otherwise, while not certain about combining an unknown compound fuel as Coaxium with Energon. He wouldn't deny the energy output, but there were more unknowable variables with this fusion. But like Wedge had passionately put it, they are running out of options and they need help, especially after what Lugnut did during the first battle of Coruscant, extinguishing the lives of so many Aerialbots and clones all at once. It was horrifying, to say the least.

Perceptor sighed and told them, "I want it to be known that I am still cautious of this experimental technology, but we are in dire need of aid."

"We would obviously need to take precautions to keep the enemy from finding out about this…" Kup stated, as he held onto his cane.

"Maybe we can ask our organic allies?" Bluestreak suggested.

Perceptor turned and said, "This is a private Autobot matter, not a Republic concern."

"Seriously prof? You're being a prude about private now and not when you helped the Jedi find their missing younglings?" Wedge ask, annoyed with the scientist's action. He asked, "You sure you're not an organic-phobe like Zeta? Maybe a supremacist or something?"

"That was helping them recover stolen life-forms, however in case you have forgotten Wedge many organics in the galaxy see us as pieces of technology not sentient beings." Perceptor said, clarifying his reasons for being cautious.

Before the inevitable argument between the two smartest Autobots started up, Kup slammed his cane to the floor getting their attention. Getting up, the commander of the Autobot forces in this galaxy said, "We will convey the plan to Chancellor Palpatine and the republic senate, but only disclose where and when to our Jedi partners."

"But Kup…" Perceptor began, still having misgivings about doing this, but Kup countered and said, "We don't have the ships nor do we have the Hyperdrives necessary to add to them and you know it."

Turning to Springer, Kup ordered, "Contact Cerebros. Tell him I would like to have a meeting with Chancellor Palpatine and Master Yoda."

"Right away, sir." Springer said and began contacting their representative in the Republic Senate.

The next day, Chancellor Palpatine was in his office, waiting for the communications between himself and the Autobot leader. While he did everything in his best interest to keep himself from worrying, he could not help it.

Soon the holographic display on his desk lit up and out came a human sized hologram of Kup sitting on his chair as he sat directly across from the Chancellor.

"Chancellor Palpatine." Kup greeted in his usual serious tone of voice.

"Commander Kup." Palpatine greeted back, "I was surprised you wanted to discuss something with me…"

Kup held up a hand which stopped Palpatine from talking, surprised before he heard another Autobot voice on the other end, "Yer all good to go Kup!"

Palpatine looked confused while Master Yoda's hologram appeared as well. Seeing this, Palpatine grew increasingly concerned and asked, "What... Commander Kup... what is the meaning of this?"

"Apologize Chancellor, but I had to make sure that our conversation in anyway is not heard by possible spies." Kup said as he sat down on what appeared to be the chair in his private quarters.

"Certain, you are?" Yoda asked, looking at the old autobot soldier.

He nodded, "Absolutely. Especially with the recent break-in and theft of the Jedi temple."

The Chancellor looked down, concerned, as he said, "While I agree with you what happened with the Jedi temple was unbelievable, but that shouldn't be as concerning for..."

"Other than The Ark, the only two places that are highly secured places within this republic are both the Senate building and the Jedi Temple." Kup said, holding his cane, "We're not gonna risk another security leak when it involves the lives of others and our own."

The intensity of the old soldier's voice made Palpatine stare. Yoda felt the need to keep others safe stronger within the Autobot leader. Palpatine sighed, sitting behind his desk while he said, "Very well, what is that you wish to report to me that involved this much security?"

Kup began to explain what the Autobot scientists were doing in order to bring more reinforcements which would help end the Clone Wars quickly while also ending their own conflict with Obsidian's forces of Decepticons. As he spoke he had the projected designs of said "Warp Gate" which would combine what the Autobots had of Cybertronian Space Bridge technology with that of the Galaxy civilization's Hyper Space technology. The readings showed that when their technologies had mixed after the Autobot's landing in their galaxy and how they made it to Coruscant so quickly, faster than either method of travel separately. Almost similar to the ancient Cybertronian space bridges before the more modern day ones.

Palpatine and Yoda sat and listened to the proposal that the Autobot presented to them. When Palpatine brought up the cost of constructing new Hyperdrives for them, Kup countered that stating, "It would be more proficient and less expensive for the citizens of your community that we search for viable Hyperdrives from the destroyed ships. We wouldn't want another civilization to fall like ours did."

Palpatine let out a sigh of relief, "Your compassion for others different from yourselves is truly inspiring. If only there were more like you and your men Commander Kup, then this dreadful war would have ended by now."

Kup looked and said, "The least we can do for a people whom welcomed us into the galaxy."

Yoda nodded, agreeing with the two, deciding to keep quiet in these matters.

"Hrrmmm. You plan to put this Warp Gate where?" Yoda asked, curious as there was only so much space in the galaxy that were not known to all before the war. Only the outer edges of Wild Space and the Unknown Regions would be strategic place for the Warp Gate to remain hidden.

Bringing up a holo-map of the galaxy, Kup pointed, "Here."

The two natives of the galaxy saw which region he was pointing at. Palpatine was the first to ask, "The Unknown Region?"

"Correct, we've gone over everything that is necessary and found that that region of your galaxy is the perfect place to build given how unmapped the majority of it is. We'll also need the expertise of these individuals for our understanding and connecting of your galaxy's technologies to be successful in this project." Kup said, which brought up a good point. He then discussed several beings within the republic's territory that were scientists of specific fields of research, though some may not have been exactly working for the government.

Palpatine, concerned, "Because of that I must suggest a different location, somewhere within Republic space. Let alone the scientists needed could be found within Coruscant."

"That is a suggestion I cannot comply with." Kup said, shocking the Supreme Chancellor. Yoda, however, raised a brow at this.

"For what reason? It would clearly be easier if you build the device somewhere where both of our forces could ensure security." Palpatine tried to reason his words, but Kup interrupted him, "I'm sorry Chancellor, but the location and personnel needed are non-negotiable. 'Specially since we might have a spy in our midst..."

Palpatine remained silent, though the defiance from this Autobot leader was getting on his nerves. He remember that Yoda was present, after taking deep breathes and stated, "Very well, Commander Kup. I will see what I can do... However I do not know how safer it would be in uncharted territory than in Republic space."

"Trust us, we're use to building something secret, it's how we were able to keep the Decepticons from learning about The Ark until a Cybertronian week later before we launched." Kup assured the Chancellor. Which made Both Chancellor and Jedi master blink in surprise at this as they could tell that their ship was the size of a city. However, they did learn that the Planet of Cybertron was much larger compared to Coruscant, so it would make sense how they were able to hide just a large ship.

Palpatine sighed as he said, "Very well... If you feel so strongly about it."

Time passed as two Republic Jedi cruisers come flying towards a moon, carrying a large component via tractor beams. They brought it to two other similar components. Two Autobot personnel were working on connecting the new segment, while Heavy Load held it in place with his strength.

Hightower changed in his Alt. mode and used his crane head to lift some tools up to a platform where two other autobots were working on another component. Hoist and Grapple were at the control unit of the Gate. While Hoist was making sure nothing was wrong with it in the software, Grapple was keeping an eye to make sure that the gate was how it looked on the blueprint. The grey, blue, and red Autobot, Bluestreak, was working at one of the connection stabilizers at the base of the device. Another Autobot with a similar body frame as Bluestreak, except he one had missile launchers on either shoulder, was working on the other connection stabilizers, the coloring of his armor, however, was different; the majority of his armor color was white and black with a little red on it. By the appearance of his armor, it looked like he scanned one of the Police speeders that was used in Coruscant's law enforcement.

Wedge was kept a keen eye on everything from his station, calling out orders for something to do or fix.

From within a Venator's bridge, Masters Windu, Kenobi, General Skywalker, and his padawan Ahsoka Tano watched with amazement at how big it was. The senior member of the Jedi council, though, looked a little suspicious about the size of the device, this Warp Gate.

"Whoa... It's huge." Ahsoka said, though she seemed to forget how bigger the Autobots were compared to the organic species in the galaxy.

"Indeed it is, Ahsoka." Obi-wan said, as he too was marveled by the teamwork and ingenuity of the Autobots.

Mace Windu then stated, still suspicious, "It appears... larger than they showed us."

"Well considering what they hope to do, it had to be." Anakin added, still marveled by the engineering required to make such a device.

"Ya know it Skyguy." A familiar, southern accented, voice said, making most of the jedi in the room turn to see someone walking in with an untidy security uniform with ginger red hair, Autobot symbol in place of the Republic on his shoulders sleeves, and the ever familiar Electri-Blue eyes.

Obi-wan, more familiar with the voice, smiled, "Nice of your to join us, Ironhide."

"Happy to be here Obi." Ironhide greeted back which made Anakin and Ahsoka laugh behind their hands about that. Obi-wan, however, internally groaned.

Mace Windu, however, asked, "Should you not be helping your friends out there?"

"Was 'bout to 'til I got the message to hold back since they seem to have everything under control fer now." He answered looking back at the bald headed Jedi.

"Why's that?" Ahsoka asked him, curiously.

Ironhide shrugged, "Guess they want me to keep an optic out for any Seps or Con patrols to make sure they don't try anything till the gate's done."

"Ironhide, your presence is required at the off-site controls." Perceptor's voice stated, making Ironhide look confused before stating, "Roger that Perceptor. On my way."

He then said, "Sorry about that Obi. Gotta go."

"I understand, I hope this project works." Obi-wan said to his autobot partner. Whose holo-form disappeared from the bridge.

Perceptor was on an offsite location with the Build team and his science staff, all working on making this "Warp Gate" possible especially with the aid.

Springer approached the scientist and asked, "You certain this'll work?"

The head scientist of the Ark looked back at the Autobot SIC and questioned, in reply, "Has anything I have made with the aid of the Build team, failed?"

Springer was silent before he responded, "Point taken, but if this new portal system can work, we'll be able to return to Cybertron and come back with more troops in less than a nano-klik to help us end this Clone Wars and end our war with Obsidian's army easily."

Perceptor nodded, "It would be good to return home and check in with Alpha Trion, he is rather a curious elderly Mech, no Alternate form as the rest of us and knows more about Cybertron than even Zeta Prime and the High Council ever did."

"Well he wasn't made Master Archivest for his looks." Both turned and saw Ironhide walking towards them.

Springer asked, "How's it looked at the perimeter?"

"No signs of anything Con, Sep, or even probe for kilometers." Ironhide answered, looking at the gate with hope, he continued, "So we're really doing this..."

"Yes." Springer responded before stating, "I just hope that Optimus Prime and Commander Magnus are there to assist us in our mission."

"Especially since Prime has the coordinates for the most likely location thanks to the matrix of leadership locked onto it through the Allspark's unique energy signature." Perceptor explained. He kept working on the software of the control console. Not noticing the look shared between the two other Autobots there.

"Perceptor, you heard Optimus when he said he literally spoke to our creator right? You know that time when he, Jazz, Warpath, and I went to the core to undo that little infusion Megatron did right? Speaking to Primus?" Ironhide asked.

"Yes, yes. I'm sure that it was good rousing the spirits of our troops, but let's be realistic, there is no mystical or supernatural thing connecting the Allspark and the matrix. The creation of Primus is just a religious story so the masses have something to believe in." Perceptor said, keeping his mind focused on his work.

Ironhide was about to confront him about this, but Springer put a hand on the older autobot's shoulder and shook his head. Not the time to try and open the professor's mind, especially since he's very busy. They heard a roar of an engine as Hot Rod drove up and said, "Sorry I'm late, had to make a pit stop over at the site. Bluestreak and Prowl needed some components from the transport."

"Good thing you're here kid, cause I think the prof's almost done." Ironhide said to the younger autobot.

Perceptor finished and said, "System diagnosis and calculations have been completed and I just got word from Wedge that his team has finished with the construction and triple checking of the device's hardware and energy levels."

Springer said, "I'll let our friends know."

He accessed his coms to talk to the republic aboard the cruiser overlooking everything. Hot Rod noticed Perceptor's face taking a disgruntled expression and asked, "Yo prof, what's the matter?"

"I still say we should have kept this project to ourselves. Who knows what the people of this galaxy do with this technology when we prove its success." Perceptor voiced his concerns, "After all, despite their advance technology they are still somewhat less than advanced as a community if half of the senators believe that destruction leads to peace."

Hot Rod rolled his optics, "Careful Prof, your brain mod's rusting from your old-way of thinking."

"I think you are too easy to trust until we know more." Perceptor said to Hot Rod.

"Whatever, I know the Jedi aren't like that and some of the senators aren't corrupt." Hot Rod said, thinking about senator Amidala, who sort of reminded him of how Arcee was before the war broke out.

The conversation was interrupted by Springer who said, "Roger that."

Their SIC then gave the thumbs up as to start the test. Perceptor nodded and began to use the gate's control console to input the coordinates for Cybertron. They could hear the gate turning on as the engineers and builders who worked on it got as far away as possible, on the off chance that something would go wrong. Perceptor then pulled the lever. The Warp Gate had a square box like object coming from the bottom brace before it began to project an energy field as it connects to two ends, next four, then eight and then the complete components. The streams of energy that connected to the parts began to spin in a rotation until it made a portal, similar to what was experienced when the Autobots arrived in the galaxy. An image of the High Council citadel came into view within the field.

(Has the Experimental inter-dimensional technology working? Will the Autobots be able to gather reinforcements or perhaps an idea as to where the Allspark is considering Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion had kept that secret with them to the grave? And What would happen if the Decepticons or the Separatist Council find out about this?
