"I find your use of magic fascinating, its hard to believe you've had no proper training in the mystic arts," Aqualad continued on, "Magic is very hard to grasp without proper guidance." Wally was quick to cut in,
"Yeah right! Magic is..." His eyes quickly flickered to Megan who was listening with rapt attention, "Totally cool! You know green cheeks I think I might have an affinity for magic myself...maybe I could show you some of my magical moves," He waggled his eyebrows.
Robin gave him a deadpan look, "Sure you do wally," His eyes zeroed on me, "That scrying spell you mentioned, how does it work? Can you find out anything about anyone or are there limits su..." I tuned him out as I racked my brain for a believable lie to cover up my observe, speaking of which.

Artemis is wary of your 'scrying' spell.
"Hey SP! You kinda spaced out for a moment. You okay?" Robin inquired.
I gave a sheepish smile, "Yes I'm okay, just tired. To answer your question it's complicated...uh I don't really have much control of the kind of information I get," I paused as I tried to gather my thoughts. "But I can gauge how strong people are in comparison to me."
Aqualad spoke up, "When did you realize you had a calling for magic? And how did you come to become a superhero without a mentor to train you?"
"It's a funny story actually." I laughed a little, "I just woke up one day with these powers and decided to train them unfortunately I caught the attention of a demon-" Wally's eyes bulged,
"No way demons are not real!" I was quick to hit back.
"Oh, they are! I had the unfortunate pleasure of running into one thankfully Zatara and Wonder Woman saved me. They were not sure if the demon was alone or had accomplices and since I was partaking in vigilante work without training they persuaded mom to let me join the team so I can receive proper training." We continued on like that sharing stories on how we became heroes while Artemis deflected their questions if they got too personal Robin remained vague in his answers.
"That is enough for now, I believe it is time to spar. Black Canary will not be joining us today." Aqualad spoke as they all rose.
I piped up, "Actually I have to go now... it's 16:00 here which means 22:00 back home and mom is expecting me at any moment." I waved them goodbye as I headed to the Zeta tubes.
At the same time, Robin followed after me, "Sorry guys I also have to go. Batman needs me ASAP!"
He grinned as he gestured for me to use the Zeta tubes first, "After you oh great sorcerer... hehe" I rolled my eyes as I went home.
"I'm home!" I announced only to be shushed.
"Your siblings are asleep so don't raise your voice!" Mom scowled. "So how was your day with the team?" She asked as I sat next to her.
"It was great!" I replied with excitement. "We were attacked by some psychos but we took care of them. I even got to try out some new spells from a grimoire I got some time ago," I continued on, "We also spent time talking and getting to know each other some more! They're really great!" She sighed as she gave a small smile.
"Good as long as your happy. I wasn't keen on the whole superhero thing but if it makes you happy then so be it. Any updates from Zatara on his search for any demons in the area?"
I shook my no, "No not yet the last time he said he found nothing but since demons can use magic to hide their presence he will make periodic searches in the area."
"Good, Good," She muttered. Suddenly her eyes lit up as she opened her mouth, "So have you met superman? Is he as gorgeous in real life? What about his ass? Does it look as good up close? Tell me!" She all but shook me as my face morphed into disgust.
I wiggled out of her arms, "Ew mom I'm not talking about superman ass with you! That's gross. Also, I haven't met him so..." I watched as she dramatically collapsed onto the sofa, "AWW! I really wanted to know more about superman and his buns of steel," I laughed at how dramatic she is. "Well, it's a school night so off to bed with you! Also, Max came by, something about more studying,"
"I'll talk to him tomorrow mom, goodnight!" I replied as i went to bed
