Next day of Mirio's humiliation, Izuku was with Himiko and the agency's sidekicks, reunited in Nighteye's office.
"Okay, yesterday was funny, but now is when we start to work," Nighteye said, looking mostly at the vampires.
"What will we do today, Sir?" Himiko asked, impatient for starting to work and kick some asses.
"I was going to talk about it just now, Toga" Nighteye looked at everyone. "I got some new clues on the Overhaul case, so we will dedicate to it in soul and body."
All the sidekicks were surprised. Midoriya and Toga were confused.
"Who the hell is Overhaul" Izuku asked. "And why so surprised?"
"He's practically the last Yakuza leader in Japan," Nighteye said with an even more serious face. "The problematic thing is that we have clues suggesting they could be developing antiquirk weapons"
"Oh, I see," Toga said. "How are we gonna deal with him?"
"Fortunately, the new weapons aren't finished yet, so they will only erase the quirk for a while, something like Eraserhead's quirk," Sir continued. "Today, all of you will go on patrol duty, if you see him, do not, I repeat, do not, engage him, do what you can to pass unnoticed and come back here with any information you can get. Any question?" Izuku raised his hand. "Yes, Midoriya?"
"What are the new clues? And, is he really called Overhaul?"
"He's called as such in the underground, his real name is Chisaki Kai; about the clues... it looks he has been working right under our noses the whole time. In other words, the guy is in this city."
After the revelation Nighteye ordered everyone to go patrol and to try and find Overhaul.
Izuku teamed with Toga and Mirio. A little before going out, the vampire got sure to give Himiko a little of his blood as precaution; she was strong, but he didn't want to risk something happening to her.
While patrolling, Mirio told Izuku his hero name, which was "Lemillion", Izuku and Toga also told him they were "Nosferatu" and "Midna" respectively. After some hours, the three started to get bored, but then, near an alley, Izuku and Toga, thanks to their great hearing, they heard a little girl crying, an adult grunting and two small barefooted feet which were rapidly followed by a pair of adult size shoes.
"Lemillion, be careful, I think something is happening," Himiko said, a lot more serious than normal; she didn't like what she had heard.
"Okay, Midna; Nosferatu..." Mirio turned towards Izuku, just to see him quickly walking up a wall.
Himiko and Mirio were on edge and looking at the exit of the Alley, when something small bumped onto Toga; she looked downwards and saw a little girl, she probably was 5 years old, she had long white hair and a small horn on her forehead; the worrying part was that she wore what looked like an operation robe and, besides being barefoot, her little arms were surrounded by bandages. Her face was full with terror and looked about to cry.
"Excuse me, miss," the kid weakly said.
"Hey kid, are you okay," Mirio got closer to look better at her.
"N-"
"Eri, there you are," said a guy, he just got out of the same alley as the girl. He wore a plague doctor's mask.
The three heroes then remembered something Nighteye told them.
"You're going to easily recognize him because he wears surgical gloves and a plague doctor's mask" Nighteye had told them before they went out.
Back to the present, Izuku, from the roof, was restraining himself from taking Chisaki, put him in one of his portals and let him fall to the abyss where he would surely get eaten by some interdimensional creature. The vampire had subtly read Eri's mind and what he saw was very disturbing, so much in fact he wondered if he had finally found a monster worse than Alucard.
Guys, I'm going down and I'll put the piece of shit in a trance, when I do it, Mirio, knock out the bastard, Himiko, watch Eri and keep her calm, she isn't evil, but her quirk is dangerous.
Without waiting for an answer, Izuku jumped off, looked at Chisaki dead on the eyes and used the sexual beam, it was so sudden, Overhaul didn't notice and Mirio could knock him out
"Eri, stay calm, I'm also a hero," said the vampire, in case he had scared her.
"Everything is fine now Eri, we're gonna keep you safe," Himiko said, hugging the girl.
"Himiko, go back to the agency and inform we have Overhaul, but it seems he made an alliance with the League. Mirio and I will protect her and we'll keep an eye on Chisaki," Izuku tried to keep calm, but he was really, really angry with Overhaul. How could he do those terrible things to a little girl?
"What?!" Mirio shouted.
"I read a bit of Eri's mind, I saw Shigaraki and Dabi."
"Understood," Himiko said and quickly returned to the agency.
"There's more, right?" said Lemillion when Toga was far away, Izuku's expression wasn't mocking or arrogant as always.
"Yes, but I won't tell you anything until we finish this."
After a few minutes, Nighteye and his sidekicks arrived.
"..."
"..."
"You are reckless, you could have ruined the whole mission," Nighteye said, he looked calm, but in his cold eyes it could be seen he was annoyed.
"But I didn't, and I caught Overhaul, besides discovering the League is with him," Izuku had a fake smile.
Sir, the girl is the source material for the antiquirk bullets, she was tortured and experimented on, the vampire told Nighteye
Nighteye's eyes widened a bit with surprise.
"I understand," the hero said, "sorry for scolding you. What else you have?"
"Their base is nearby, it has 8 elite minions called 'the eight precepts of death' with problematic quirks and I know that at least Shigaraki and Dabi are in the base."
"Couldn't you get more info?"
"I tried with Chisaki, but he has a strong will, I risk damaging his mind if I force my powers on him, and it's probable that doing it I could also damage the info I need or kill him"
"I see," said Nighteye, "good job. How do you suggest we attack?"
"I could infiltrate, when I become intangible I can still hear and feel, so I could communicate with your minds to guide you around."
"I like your idea, but wait a moment, I'm going to use my quirk on you."
Nighteye took Izuku's hand and saw his future. No homo, thought Izuku to himself.
Fuck, thought the hero.
What's wrong, Sir?, asked the vampire in his mind.
The fight to come will be really hard, Shigaraki has got a power which will basically nullify your powers.
"Change of plans," Nighteye said, "Izuku, infiltrate the base but don't do anything, wait for us, I'm going to call in more agencies to help us," the hero was really worried.
"Why do we need more agencies?" Toga asked, she didn't expect to ever see him worried.
"So we can increase the probabilities to catch them all and that more than 50% of us get out alive." And this is without Overhaul, I'm shaking just thinking if we wouldn't have caught him.
"Alright Nighteye, I'll go and wait," Izuku said while creating a portal to appear just in front of the base.
Then the vampire infiltrated the base and, using his powers, hid inside a wall in the base, not too far away from the entrance.
"Midna, could you watch over the kid? Now there's no time to look for a babysitter."
Shigaraki was chilling watching the television with Dabi from a sofa, with a golden cross on his forehead, when he felt the presence of an unholy creature in the base, his eyes widened. "Dabi, with me, it's time to kill an immortal."
"What are you talking about?" Dabi asked, annoyed, he just wanted to keep watching the TV.
"I'm talking about how Nosferatu is here," Tomura said while getting up from the sofa.
Those words made Dabi quickly get up. At that moment, Kurogiri entered the room carrying some beverages.
"Kurogiri," called Shigaraki, "leave that at the table and follow me, Nosferatu is here."
Meanwhile, Izuku was watching the precepts, boring, thought the vampire. Then, he saw Shigaraki, Dabi and Kurogiri enter the room, all three were in a hurry.
Why so fast? Are the reinforcements here already?
Then Shigaraki used a force augmenting quirk to punch the wall where Izuku was. The hit was so strong, without knowing, it damaged the whole structure.
The vampire made his entrance, he was confused. The precepts tried to attack, but Shigaraki stopped them.
"He is mine," he said scarily.
"Why do I fell so many essences inside you? And how did you find me?
"Because I have a lot of quirks," Shigaraki twisted a smile while cross reappeared on his forehead.
"It doesn't matter how many tricks you have, you won't defeat me."
Shigaraki then punched Izuku in an arm, with so much force, he broke said arm and the bone pierced the skin. Izuku was still confident, after all he just had to heal and he was ready to go. The problem was, that when he tried, he discovered he couldn't. Dabi took advantage and tried to burn him, but the vampire dodged him.
"What the fuck have you done?!" Izuku shouted and for an instant he felt fear.
"Simple, I stole a quirk which was about holy things and the shit, when attacking you like this, it's like you would have touched blessed silver coated in garlic which was exposed to sunlight," Shigaraki smiled.
"So you slowed down my regeneration factor," the vampire said, when saw his arm regenerating really slow.
Izuku launched to attack but failed and Shigaraki punched his other arm.
"Interesting," Midoriya said, "but, you know I have other ways to beat you without touching you, right?"
Shigaraki realized what he wanted to do but he kept calm. Izuku was shocked when he noticed he couldn't use the sexual beam.
"I still have a lot of techniques, Shigaraki," Izuku summoned Muscular; or at least he tried, again, he wasn't able to do it. "No, it's not possible," the vampire stepped backwards, he was starting to get scared.
"Kurogiri," said Shigaraki
The fog man then created a bunch of portal in the air in front of Izuku, Shigaraki and Dabi. The villains violently attacked Midoriya through the portals. Normally, such hits wouldn't cause him any harm, but Shigaraki's quirk had weakened him.
"What kind of quirk is that?" Izuku spitted blood after receiving all those attacks.
"It's called Holiness, I discovered a priest had a quirk which made him able to perform exorcisms, he focused the quirk in his throat and whatever he said would affect the demon. Then I went to him, stole his quirk and killed him. The only downside is that after using, I'll start talking about God like a preacher."
"Aw, I'm so special you need a quirk just for me? How considerate of you, Tomura," the vampire mocked him.
"You're a monster, you cheat, so I had to look for a power up to deal with you," Shigaraki said, approaching him with Dabi. And fiercely attacked him again, the attack was so brutal the vampire ended up glued to a wall.
"Well then, Tomura Shigaraki, use your power up," Izuku said with his head down. "... me," he lifted up his head, his hair hid one eye, while the other had an intense red glow, also, his face was bloody and his gaze overflowed madness. "SHOOT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!"
Meanwhile, the reinforcements had arrived, but they were worried because Izuku didn't contact them.
"What's taking him so long?" asked Nighteye. "He was supposed to pay attention and contact us when we arrived."
Izuku, are you there?, it was the fourth time Himiko tried to contact the vampire.
Mademoiselle, it's me, Pip, answered a voice.
Pip? Why isn't Izuku answering?
He's fighting Handy, the bastard has a quirk which can stand against the gamin.
What?! And why aren't you helping him?!
I can't, the quirk has interrupted our connection, he can't summon familiars, nor transform, use the sexual beam, or the portal and his strength has dropped a lot, the only thing he still has is his speed. Handy is beating the shit out of him, I suggest you bring Alucard, I'm not sure if Mignonette could fight him.
Suddenly, they saw the facade of the base starting to crumble and then a hole was opened, from which Izuku went out flying. It was a good shot, the vampire thought while falling to the ground.
Eri, Himiko, and a lot heroines covered their mouths when they saw the his state. Izuku had second and third degree burns all over his body, he had a bunch of bones protruding from his skin and he was covered in blood and rubble. He was still conscious.
"Nosferatu, what happened to you?" asked Nighteye while he and Aizawa, who was with the reinforcements, rapidly approached the vampire. Out of the blue, an iron bar went out of the hole and almost passed through Sir, if not for Himiko who took him out of the way and the bar pierced her abdomen.
Izuku saw how his girlfriend was pierced. His gaze changed from full of pain, to confused and then anger. Now he was pissed off. With an inhuman effort, the green haired teen got up and knelt next to her. No one noticed a small stream of blood was coming out of the hole on the facade and was absorbed by Izuku, meanwhile he was crying blood.
"Why are you crying? Toga asked. "Did you forget I'm almost like you?" she said mockingly.
Izuku looked closer and saw how the wound was slowly closing up, at that moment he wanted to facepalm.
"I'm sorry, it's just that I lost my powers and I forgot that detail," the vampire cleaned his tears and smiled.
"Nosferatu, report," said Nighteye, he recovered from the scare of almost being impaled.
"They detected me when I entered thanks to Shigaraki's quirk, and they ambushed me," Izuku said tiredly, but he noted how his wounds started healing quickly. "Excellent, I'm better," he looked at the hero, "they deactivated my powers and they gave me a good beating, which I'm about to return," his eyes glowed menacingly.
"This is your divine punishments, you miserable creature," Shigaraki said from the hole, he seemed in a trance, "those who turn their backs on our Lord are condemned to the eternal punishments. Just by accepting God you will save your miserable soul."
"And the villain is the one to speak" Mirio said sarcastically.
"I'm not a villain, I'm a humble servant of our Lord and... What the actual fuck am I saying?!" Shigaraki woke up from the trance, confused.
"What a secondary effect," Izuku ridiculed him.
"Whatever, I'll kill you," Tomura launched to attack along the other villains from the base.
The battle was chaotic, but thanks to Izuku recovering his powers, he immobilized Kurogiri, thus disabling his damn portals and making the fight easier. After a few hours, the fight was over, and the heroes, though hurt, they were able to stop the villains. However, in the confusion, the League managed to escape again.
A few days later, Izuku was in his room at Alucard's house, he was with Himiko.
"Izu, you've been thinking a lot, are you okay?" the blonde asked, laying on the bed.
"Yes, it's just that I need to become stronger and I'm worried for it and one more thing," the vampire sighed.
"Izuku," called Alucard from the other side of the door, "come here a moment."
Izuku went out of the room and saw Alucard, going through the front wall, Midoriya did the same and followed the first vampire. Before doing it, he also saw Eri eating an apple and talking happily with Seras. She and Alucard were able to win the girl's custody, they were asked to by Izuku and, specially, Himiko.
"Izuku, we need to talk."
Minutes later, Midoriya, came back to Himiko, he was happy and anxious at the same time.
"Izu, what happened? Where did you go with Alucard?
"I know what I'll do to becoming stronger, but first I want to discuss something with you."
"Toga got up from the bed."
"About what?"
"Do you really want to be like me?" Izuku quietly asked.
"Yes, from a long time I want to immortal like you and be with you forever," she said without blinking.
"Really?"
"Yes, I love you, Izuku Midoriya," Himiko got a bit red.
Izuku smiled, also a bit red and got closer to Toga's neck; he opened his mouth, showing his fangs and bit her. We will be together forever and I won't have to worry about something happening to you, the vampire smiled mentally.
