Hey guys! Thank you for the warm reviews. Though that one dude still confuses me. I wish I could type more frequently for you guys. It warms my heart that you guys love my stories.

JohnMonty chapter 5 . Jul 31

Great chapter! Was wondering when this would be updated! Caelum is awesome when he is putting that moron Malfoy in his place, hope he is able to bankrupt the Malfoy's and Lestranges for emptying much of the Black vaults for Voldemorts cause. Surely he should be able to take all there money for violating there Alliance to he Black family to aiding the man who murdered Regulus Black and intentionally sabotaging House Black? Hopefully he can take there money and disown the Malfoy's, Narcissa, Bellatrix and the Lestranges in disgrace. I really hope that he can get custody of Harry from Dumbledore. The old goat really doesn't like him, he knows Sirius is innocent and doesn't want him being found innocent and have his Guardianship of Harry taken away. He should've hexed the old goat! Looking forward to reading more! Update soon!

So um. Ok sorry to burst your bubble. I'm glad you like the story but Bellatrix is going to be with Caelum. There is ZERO anyone can do about that. But, yes, the plot does go towards returning the money to the blacks.

The other review said sick...so thank you lmao.

Now on to the Polls. This was still weird to me but sure. The poll ends by the time the 8th chapter comes out. So, knowing me, you guys have time. Why did someone put Delores? Who is this troll lol. Daphne, Narcissa(RIP- she died this year.) and Tonks lead.

Chapter 6: Ebonywood Fury

A few days had passed since his detention and Caelum was still seething. Harry had tried to talk to him, however he was more and more distant. This all boiled over until one day he snapped again.

Malfoy was yet again being a dick and Caelum was not having it. Caelum had just walked out of runes, and saw Malfoy talking to a younger first year. In their house no less.

"Mr. Malfoy, I'm sorry but I need to get to class." said first year said, obviously scared.

"You bumped into me and scuffed my shoes. How will I even be able to show my face around here? I'll look like a mudblood." He laughed along with Goyle.

Caelum shook his head as Shiva walked out next to him. It wasn't until Malfoy pushed the child that he spoke up.

"Lord Malfoy, I do believe we have already had this talk about besmirching the great name of Slytherin. I would kindly ask that you back off the first year and go clean your own shoes."

Malfoy sneered. "Ebonywood. You're an extinct house. Go fuck yourself. Oops, I said that in front of a professor. It's ok. She looks just like a soon to be hag, pretty sure you guys' snog anyways, what with all the O's you get." He would've kept going but was socked in the face hard by Caelum.

Caelum started to lay into the blonde-haired boy, he could feel his own fist breaking skin and his vision went red until two arms wrapped around him and pulled him back. He turned and almost punched the person that grabbed him but saw it was Daphne looking at him with worry. He looked a bit behind her at Shiva, who had a stern look on her face as she shook her head at him. He understood that look. His mother used to have it when he went too far with things. It was a 'stop now before you get into more trouble' look. One would think it meant he was in trouble, but it was plainly out of worry and want of what's best for him.

His thoughts were interrupted when the whiney bloke laying on the ground bleeding shouted, or more sputtered, out. "My Father will hear of this, Ebonywood. I will have you strung up."

"I dare you to try it, Malfoy. Last, I remember, the Malfoys were in debt to the Ebonywoods. I wonder if you guys have paid that off yet? I wouldn't think so if a branch had to come to the Isles." He snarled and walked off, soft but quick footsteps following him.

"That wasn't wise, Caelum. Not only did you just bloody a student, but you did it in front of a professor. She HAS to tell now, otherwise she will be in the wrong as well." Daphne snapped at him.

Caelum didn't respond and kept walking to his next lesson. Draco stayed far from him for the rest of the day, but the very next day his fate bumped into Caelum's all over again.

This time it was literally over trivial matters. Draco was talking about the Wizard council and how his father was making steps to outlaw certain purebloods from certain rights. Caelum wasn't really listening until the boy brought up the Greengrass family.

"The Greengrass family are a thorn in my father's side. Lord Greengrass actually was stupid enough to sign something with my father during the last war. I get Daphne as a consort."

Caelum spoke up again, but loudly. "Draco, you couldn't consort a frog if you tried. Unfortunately for you and your father, the minute I came back that contract was null and void seeing as I own the Greengrass family as a subject family. Which is better than slaves, because they are their own entity. Remember, allies are needed for everyone. Now shut your mouth before I give you another black eye."

Draco didn't shut up and Caelum whipped his wand out ready to hex the boy before a hand grasped his. It was Bathseda.

"Don't Caelum. He isn't worth it. We have announcements soon. The headmaster wants you in his office with the other champions."

Caelum growled and looked at Draco sharply. The boy shrunk down and whimpered, as Caelum turned face and strode off into the corridors, his cloak billowing much like Snape's.

In the office, when he arrived, stood Harry, Fleur, and Natalia. He narrowed his eyes at the Veela and nodded towards the other girl. Harry was looking worried a bit but when he saw Caelum he spoke softly.

"Have you heard anything of my Godfather?"

"Not yet, no Mr. Potter. However, I assure you I will have Lord Black out as soon as possible." Caelum smiled softly to the younger boy, who nodded and looked forward.

Soon they were led to another room where a lady sat down with a camera and a quill that moved on its own. The four of them looked at the woman and she smiled back.

"My name is Rita, but you all probably know this. As they are announcing the tournament to the rest of the school., I will be interviewing you." She said happily.

She sat them all down, and Caelum had to cringe a bit as the Veela was right next to him. As soon as the picture was taken, he pulled himself away. She glared at him as Natalia was pulled into a closet to be interviewed.

"You look down on me and I do not appreciate it. How dare you look upon me with such distain." She snapped, a wand tip at her throat very quickly after.

She shut up immediately, and as Natalia gasped, and Harry was pulled into the closet only a pin drop could be heard. Natalia stood there looking back and forth as Caelum breathed in and looked the Veela up and down.

"A Delacore? I hope the love was worth it." He removed the wand and put it away. "Don't ever speak to me like that again, ok? I dare say, if your father was here, I think you'd find out I have some contracts I can activate. Miss Delacore, I don't wish to ever make anyone a servant. However, I will never release someone who speaks with such distain towards their fellow wizards. No matter how much I believe you to be a creature, you are obviously a witch. Act like one."

With that he was pulled into the closet as well and sat face to face with Rita. She smiled and watched him for a moment before speaking.

"Mr. Ebonywood, good to finally meet you. A man out of his time, what is it like so far? An orphan of his own doi-"

"I'm going to stop you right there, Miss Skeeter. I don't particularly like when people run the conversation. If you want an interview, you can just ask me questions, Animagus to Animagus. Equal to Equal."

She stopped and stared. How could he possibly know. When she went to voice her question, he responded. "I recently had to fill out forms for mine. Not sure when that started but, in my time, we could sense others. I take it you aren't registered. Good for you. A beautiful lady such as yourself shouldn't be tied down by forms."

He didn't know it but he made an ally right then. She smiled sweetly and blushed. She knew he wasn't flirting but he was still gorgeous. "Ok, a real interview then. Could you possibly tell me about your life since the time skip? How has Hogwarts changed?"

Real questions. He liked that. He explained the changes, and his heart break. Adding in his strength he stated he was going to win this. she nodded all the way through and stared at him. She was definitely enamored. He spoke unlike anyone she had ever met, smooth and unfiltered. There were no lies from him. No story to spin. Everything was already sensational. When they were done, he left and almost walked right back into Fluer.

She had been standing there waiting for him to come out. When he did, he had a wand against his chest. Time stood still for the two of them as she looked him in the eyes and sighed, removing her wand.

"Lord Ebonywood. I dislike you. I truly do. But you are correct. I have treated you with disrespect. I do apologize. One who can resist the veela alure is definitely worthy in my eyes." She then stalked out leaving the other three gaping.

"Women are bloody mental." the Potter Heir said.

The two older mages nodded their heads in agreement.

Caelum was walking towards Hogsmede. He had finally received word from Alexo and was actually a bit excited to see her. This would be the first Pureblood adult he would encounter on the outside of the school. Something he hoped he had paid enough attention to his father to be able to pull off. Soon he arrived at the tea spot.

He enetered and looked around. He didn't know what he looked like so he was looking for someone that looked a lot like her brother. Then he felt it. The dark magic. He turned his eyes to see a woman, not even 30 yet and he walked up. When she saw him her eyes went wide.

"Lord Ebonywood?" she asked.

He nodded and lightly gripped her hand and kissed her knuckles. "Lady Carrow, I hope."

"Well, if it wasn't me then some lady is lucky to be speaking with such a gentleman. Sit down please. We have a lot to discuss." she said excitedly as she sat down.

When he sat down she threw up a silencing charm and pointed to the tea she had ordered. Her pureblood mask was off and now sat an unrefined woman. Watching him closely. H raised an eyebrow and looked around.

"I don't mean to pry, but were you just acting?"

"Yeah, it gets sooo tiring trying to be proper you know. I literally am always at the ministry and such. So, let's get down to business. I need something from you, and you apparently need something from me."

He narrowed his eyes; he did not expect quid pro qou. "Lady Carrow I-"

"I am your vassal, Lord Ebonywood. Does that mean you can alter blood contracts?" She asked hopefully, stopping him in his tracks.

As he nodded dumbly she smiled shakily and held out her arm. "Please then. Remove this my Lord."

He was definitely not expecting that. He could feel the darkness coming from her wrist. There was a mark there. A skull with a moving snake was glaring back at him. "What in the good Lord's name is that Lady Carrow!"

"It's what we call the dark mark. Made by you know who. I don't want it anymore. My brother pushed me into joining the Dark Lord's army and I just want out. Please tell me you can remo-" She stopped as he gripped her wrist and held his wand to it.

Slowly there was a low scream and the magic was absorbed into his wand. Kind of. In his other hand a red stone started to grow.

"This is what we in the olden days, call a blood stone. Oddly enough many people now a days, from the books I read make blood gems. This is different. It's just called blood because it is red. However, it also will mix with your blood when you consume it. Once this is done, I will give you this to consume. The power inside this mark will become yours." he rattled on as it finally finished.

He handed her the stone and told her to eat it. She looked at him confused and took the stone and bit into it. It actually melted in her mouth and did taste great. Once she was done she felt the power flow through her. It wasn't a huge jump but it did boost her a lot. She looked down at her wrist and it was gone.

"I..I am free?"

"Yes ma'am. Let me tell you though, that took a lot out of-" he was about to say me when her lips smashed into his.

He groaned and pushed her off, his lips tingling and her eyes wide in surprise. "I am so sorry my Lord. I was just so ecstatic."

"It's quite alright. Just, please don't do that again." He said chuckling.

They went on with their talk. She could provide proof to Amelia, more proof than just peter being alive. Sworn testimony from her that Sirius was never a death eater. She also was able to explain his seats to him. He actually could not use the Black seat right now. However, the Ebonywood one had three seats, Crane had one. He then opened up and told her about the Slytherin bloodline. She told him he could keep that secret as long as he wanted. The seats, all five, wouldn't open up until he wished. Along with her Carrow seat, she also held the Cadwell. Which would be good for him. That was five current seats he had.

They then went on about what had happened in the last three decades. The dark lord rising. At first, he promised purist reforms. Getting everyone back to the old ways. To the times that Caelum understood, the ways he did. But then the man changed. Became power hungry. He started on a path of hating muggles, half-bloods, muggleborns, and even blood traitors. She had to explain the traitor part.

Caelum nodded and paid attention the entire time. He was appalled by some of the things, and intrigue by the others. He did believe that tradition was important. But instead of banning muggleborns and halfbloods, just have them acclimate. He told her such and even brought up the fact that one of his father's main issues with him was he actually sided with the goblins in their rebellion. On the ideology part anyways.

She chuckled and nodded. "So, my Lord, what else do you have planned for today?"

"I am apparently supposed to meet Lord Malfoy. However, one of my requirements for deals was that his son apologized for being a prat. I guess we will have to see what he says. Then I guess I am going to go back to Hogwarts. I have to finish a project soon. Well, I don't have to but why not?" He shrugged and she giggled. Along with another voice in the back of his head.

They finished their tea and then they stood up. He gripped her hand and kissed it again. "Lady Carrow. It was truly nice to meet you."

Caelum rose and left. A little bit later he was in a meeting with Malfoy Sr.

"So, the deal is I help you in the wizard council and you help me with funds." the blonde man smiled greedily.

"Er? No? I have enough seats in the council and honestly, I have no idea what you need funds for. I came here thinking we would have an alliance." Caelum narrowed his eyes.

Malfoy paused for a second and nodded. "I could see that. I have heard of your pureblood beliefs. Odd, yes, but proper none the less. I will have to talk my son into behaving around you."

Caelum shrugged and stood up. He looked at the man and shook his head. "Change has to be seen Lord Malfoy."

With that he left and walked back to Hogwarts. Soon he came up on Daphne as he entered the main hall. He looked at her, blonde hair, blue eyes. He thought to himself that she should've had green eyes, but that was neither here nor there. She wasn't wearing the normal attire and instead was dressed more properly. He tilted his head before tensing as an adult man came up to her. They both looked at him as he walked up.

"Lord Ebonywood? My name is Lord Caius Greengrass. I have heard a lot about you. You're more famous than the boy-who-lived now a days."

Caelum bowed slightly but didn't respond. The man took that as a sign and nodded, walking away. His daughter smiled softly at Caelum before walking with her father. Most adults could see the look on his face. He wasn't in the mood to talk. He was so out of it he did not realize he was even sitting at the Gryffindor table until a giggle resounded. He looked up from his now full plate at all the faces. He could see Harry with his brow arched, Hermonie with curious eyes. Ron with hate. The twins gleeful face, and a girl. She was definitely older than Harry and his friends. She was actually...stunning.

He was confused. He hadn't enough thought about a girl like that...excluding Daphne, not that he would admit it, in months. Well months for him. He realized he was staring and looked away at the Potter boy. The girl was blushing now and looked away as well.

"Lord Potter. I do apologize, I was how you say...zoned out." He bashfully apologized.

"Why do you keep calling him Lord Potter?" the bushy haired blonde spoke after she swallowed some food.

"You mean he doesn't know? Mr. Weasley never told him?"

Ron mumbled something and growled while his mouth was full so Caelum continued.

"The minute your name was shot out of that giant goblet, you were emancipated. You are an adult Lord Potter. I would think you are a lord of other things as well. Your trace should have already been removed from your wand, you should be getting your entire inheritance. If your allies are still the same as when I was around, you have the Longbottoms, Blacks, Ebonywoods, Bones, Abbotts, Notts, Weasleys and Lovegoods as allies. You actually have the greatest number of true allies of any Family. Your enemies as far as I know are the Yaxley, Lestrange, Umbridge, and Prewitt." Caelum finished as the entire table and the Hufflepuff one went silent.

He was confused, then angry. Had Dumbledore not told the poor boy? Even now when the boy could very well die. "Harry...have you even read your parents will? Or seen your estates?"

When the boy shook his head Caelum slammed his hand down, glasses all around him bursting, luckily not cutting anyone. He was seething and glared up at the old man at the end of the hall. He could feel his brain being pricked at and blocked off the man. Narrowing his eyes at the twinkling ones.

"Caelum? Are these idiots doing something to you?" a soft voice came from besides him.

He looked up to see Pansy as she comfortingly placed her hand on his arm. "They didn't tell Harry he was a lord. In fact, from what I'm gathering he doesn't know a single thing about him being an ancient and noble house. Or even the fact he holds traditions under his very name."

Pansy stopped short and looked at the scared boy and sighed. "That's fucked up."

"What does sex have to do with it?"

"How do you know what fuck means but not what hot means...never forget I asked. I mean it is a messed up...it means ugh! It just isn't right!" she yelled turning red as everyone chuckled.

Caelum, still serious nodded. But Harry patted him on the back. "I am glad you care enough, and yeah I'll have to learn now that I know. But I have you." Harry spoke.

Caelum nodded, but he wasn't hungry anymore. He rose and left, almost running into Daphne again but continuing out to the black lake. Her and Pansy followed as she left the school grounds.

"Sometimes I feel like you are a mature adult. Other times I feel like you are a drama filled teen." Pansy said huffing as they finally stopped.

Caelum looked hard at her for just a moment before he just chuckled. "Yeah, I guess I am a child sometimes. I just felt like things in the future would be different. I mean the only thing truly different is you both are wearing jeans.

He laid down as they sat near him. He watched the sky, already setting into another night in this era. He sighed softly. "You guys think they are up there somewhere watching me?"

"Well, they can't actually be up- ouch!" Pansy snapped as Daphne elbowed her.

"Yeah, and I am sure they are proud of you Caelum. I am." Daphne said while glaring at Pansy.

She grumbled but nodded her head in agreement. Caelum chuckled again but looked at the stars none the less. "I am pretty sure you guys will get in trouble for being out past curfew, so you can leave me."

The girls groaned and stood up. But instead of leaving him they both plopped on him, one of them on his chest and the other his stomach. He laughed out and tried throwing them off but they both grabbed him. They kept tickling him for a moment, Pansy surprised he was actually ticklish. When he finally pushed them off and stood up, he held his hands up.

"Okay, Okay. Let's go in. I will be a good boy." he said as they smirked.

"girls" he sighed rolling his eyes as they traversed the field to go inside.

Up above Dumbledore watched them. Part of him was happy the young man was getting on with the students. Another was worried for him. But a huge part was concerned for the world. The night continued as the man wrote a letter.

Thank you, guys, so much for the patience. Sorry this one is short. I was just trying to finally get it out for you guys. I did update the last few chapters as I said. I also want to point out Alecto isn't the same actress as she was in the movies. Think Rachel Weisz but more...goth.
