Ash wondered back towards the stadium he put his hands in his pockets and walked around taking in all the sights and sounds does Japan.

'As much as Equestria is more advanced than my old time...' he thought to himself 'this is more advanced than anything i have ever seen.'

He observed all of the different Billboards and signs he thought some of them was a little too provocative for its own good. He did find quite a bit of Interest with what they called mangas. But he couldn't quite read the native language but thanks to a little spell Twilight taught him, he was able to read and understand the language with ease. He thought to himself this would be really fun to enjoy. But has he was walking away he didn't realize that there were a couple of spectators viewing him. But soon he decided to head back to the stadium and join up with Sunset and the others. But as he turned the corner he came face-to-face with a large group of high schoolers all of them wearing wonderfully detailed school uniforms. Ash had completely bumped into a tall redhead that was apparently leading the group. He got up first and offered a hand as he apologized. She took his hand and had a firm grim. But as he started to walk around them that she was most offended.

"Hold it there you!" she called out.

Ash turn back to look at her "I really don't mean to be rude but I'm quite late to regroup with my friends."

She was still irked though "You can't just walk into somebody and just apologize and walk off. It's very rude and disrespectful."

Ash just stared back and said "I said I was sorry" he rubs the back of his head and smiled she instantly was caught in that spell of his smile she blushes but tries to hide it with more frustration. She then challenges him to a Kendo fight.

Confused he never heard of it before but she tossed him a bamboo sword. The redhead smirked saying "first one to disarm the other is the winner you win you can go about your way if I win you're going to have to show me more respect and get on your knees and apologize."

But he narrowed his eyes at her and she instantly felt uncomfortable.

'Those eyes she's thought were like the eyes of a warrior.'

But she was unfazed from her plan the other students were cheering for her there was one or two cheering for Ash saying 'put princess in her place!' He looked over and saw a man with a pink hair and a weird scarf and another man with black raggedy hair who seemed to have taken his vest and tie off. None the less, he just turned back to the redhead in front of him and said "I will ask again we don't have to do this."

But she was unfazed and said prepare yourself. He positioned himself raising the sword high but the head pointing down. She held onto her sword with great strength and then she lunged at him. Ash saw the attack coming and jumped right over surprising everyone and then he turned mid-air smacking the sword right into her back with enough force to send her toppling over dropping her sword in surprise. Everyone was shocked to see their class president defeated so easily. Realizing you might have overdone it quickly went to her side and apologized again. But she got up and had admiring look at her face and ask him where did he learn such skill he's told her that he was privately trained at a young age so he's been practicing for a very long time she begged him tell her what was his master's name was.

Though to himself that even if he did remember the name that was over a thousand years ago he only says "I can't quite remember too many blows to the head from him." They laughed as she found the joke relatable. He helped her up and the both of them shook hands with great respect as he realized the time he quickly ran off to find the others the two boys that cheered for Ash came up to her and says "who exactly was he Erza?"

She said "I have no idea Natsu." she turned to them "but I am looking forward to our next encounter." she smiled with a very small blush on her face which Natsu saw started to tease her about it which of course rewarded him with a punch to the face. She said "alright that's enough come on we're already behind schedule" as she started leading the group again Gray and Lucy picked Natsu up and had to drag him behind the class.

Ash quickly made it back to the stadium and soon found the Canterlot High School group. Sunset came up to him "where were you you almost missed it."

He apologized saying" ran into I don't know who she was but she was a fine warrior or at least she was good with the sword."

Sunset gave him a disbelieving look. He says honest she only smiles and punches him in the shoulder playfully. As the group was getting organized there was a gathering of all the different schools to enjoy and to get to know each other. At first everyone kept within their school but thanks to Pinkie Pie everyone started to mingle and get to know each other. As everyone was enjoying themselves as she sat in the back just watch he then released his Pokemon Lucario and Pikachu letting his Pokemon stretched out and asked if it was time for the battle. He was told them no and they were just enjoying themselves. He gave each of them a glass of punch to enjoy. Then out of the corner of his eye he thought he saw someone familiar at first he thought it was probably a trick of the light and decided to ignore it.

Sunset came up to him it says "hey Ash can you help me with something it's important.."

he says "sure what is it he said it's about Pinkie Pie"

And soon the two went over and saw that she was very tired and drained very not Pinkie Pie. He says "are you okay"

she says "yeah but after I helped everyone I stepped back and then I was so happy that I ponied up but then as soon as I did I felt like something was draining out of me."

Ash was surprised by this. He used his magic and discovered that the equestrian magic she had in her was gone. What he says next was surprising to everyone You saying drained is right all of that magic is gone."

Sunset was very upset how can it be just gone youth equestrian Magic "how would anybody know what it is let alone how to pull it out somebody."

Ash thought about it for a little bit "I'm not sure" he then turned to Aria and Sonata asking them about Sonata said she had no idea already explained that there were some old relics in Equestria in their time that could do such things.

But Aria shook her head replying "Most of them were lost before we were banished from Equestria so it's possible but again it's been over a thousand years so I have no idea either."

Ash pondered this deeply he says "then the only explanation that comes to mind is that somehow at some ways somebody was able to track our kind of magic and has developed something I may be a device that's able to pull magic out."

Sunset was petrified at the idea ever since she brought the element a magic to this world she had been trying to learn and understand how does it work in this world but now someone else was learning about it and stealing it from her friends.

Meanwhile across the room the other Twilight was looking at her device wondering what exactly caused it to react and why did it pull energy out of the air and it was pinkish color. She then bumped into Miss Hardscrabble. "Twilight..." she said sternly "Where have you been?

She fumbled with the device and put it away saying " I was aaa.. taking care off... I had to take care of business with my project before I could join up with the group for the Friendship Games." she smiled with obvious sweat marks.

The dean just said "good work it's important that you get your project done on time I'm also looking forward to seeing it."

She gaze down at the pocket Twilight had put her device away. She then moved towards her assistant principal Cadence who was talking and mingling with principles Celestia and Luna.

"Greetings and she said Miss Hardscrabble." Celestia smile shaking her hand "it's been awhile"

she says "it has last I remember I think it was two years ago at the state competition. What was it for football or baseball I keep forgetting you how many times and how many ways we've come out on top."

Luna by this wanted to say something but Celestia gave her a quick look of don't. But Celestia return back to Miss Hardscrabble and said "we've actually had quite a bit of an improvement these last two years following that several of our students have improved quite a bit and we believe that this year will show to ourselves and our sister schools here in Japan that Canterlot high is still a worthy school for the Pokemon endorsement contract." Miss Hardscrabble frowned. The endorsement contract was something that she desperately wanted for Crystal prep to have but thanks to some pull from the reigning Champion Cynthia had expressed that instead of a top-tier prep-school for the prestige, that a more local common school would be the better experience to show how Pokemon would react with regular students rather than pampered and academic driven. But as everyone what socializing or deep in thought a large storm cloud seemed to be getting bigger and closer with each moment.
