"Where am I? Doctor?" A bunny-eared girl groaned.
Amiya, the leader of Rhodes Island, is lost in the middle of nowhere after waking up from her slumber.
Then, she witnessed a corpse. And that corpse is one of the Reunion soldiers.
"What just happened?"
As lost as Amiya became, she's at Chernobog, a place that was used to be terrorised by the Reunion Movement a long time ago.
Amiya checks on her phone as the date and time is May 1st 10XX, 13:12.
"That's strange, wasn't it supposed to be September 22nd?" Amiya is puzzled about the date and time, thinking that she's back in time.
She halts after a bunch of footsteps arrive.
"You there, are you a civilian?" A man's voice asked.
Amiya gasped as she witnessed a group of men and women who're the members of the Reunion Movement, judging by their uniforms and their logos.
"Don't come any closer!" Raising her arm, Amiya is going hostile towards the Reunion group as she remembered them being a group of terrorists.
"R- Relax, kid! I mean, we're not hurting the infected." The Reunion member exclaimed.
"Are you sure? You accused Rhodes Island of murdering innocent people. I know you people had it rough and I'm sorry about what happened to all of you… But it doesn't change the fact that you all turned yourselves out to be a group of terrorists!" Amiya retorted as she still pitied her enemies.
Then silence.
"Did you say 'Rhodes Island!?'" A Reunion member sounded displeased as Amiya remained calm.
"Yeah. You're looking at the one who leads all! I am Amiya, the leader of Rhodes Island!"
Silence again.
"Did she just say leader?" A female Reunion member asked while holding her breath.
"Leader? Is she really? Did they change leaders or what?" A male member laughed.
Afterwards they all laughed as Amiya went quiet while turning beet red.
"Why are you all laughing? Didn't you guys remember when we're up against each other?" Amiya asked.
"What are you talking about, kid? There's no way you can run Rhodes Island like that!" A Reunion member laughed as he wrapped his arm on Amiya's shoulders.
"I bet she's just playing along!" Another male Reunion chuckled.
"I know, right!?" A female one hollered with laughter.
"Curses…" Muttering under her breath, Amiya had realised that she's back in time and everything is different, but looking exactly the same.
"Don't worry, I'm sure she found that coat from the dumpster. Come with us. I'm sure you'll get some hospitality in you." Said the Reunion member.
After their chat as well as taking Amiya with them, a growl was coming from behind.
"Huh? GET DOWN!" A member pushed Amiya while holding out a sabre along with his crew with their weapons and magic.
As Amiya landed by the bins while nearly getting herself clawed on, the Reunion are facing something that is made out of originium arts.
"What on earth!? GH!? GHHIYAAAAAH!" A member screamed.
A noise had caught Amiya's attention as it sounded familiar to her.
"Stay away! STAY AWAYYYYY!" another member screamed.
Amiya then covered her ears as she's been hearing coldblooded screams and splattering sounds as well as crunching noise.
"What the heck is that…" Amiya grunts as she remains quiet.
After the noises, Amiya turns around and witnesses a familiar looking originium monster that is glaring straight at a bunny-eared girl.
"Is that Dr. Kal'tsit's…" Amiya gasped, witnessing a familiar that looked like it's from Kal'tsit, Mon3tr. "Um… I can explain."
Before Amiya explains the situation she's in, a claw was raised, causing a cautus-chimera girl to make a run for it, unless she's attacking an ally with her own originium arts which can be risky to use.
As Amiya tried calling the Doctor…
But no one answered.
"Ngh! DOCTOR!? HEELLLLLLP!" Screamed Amiya, while rushing through Chernobog which is like a ghost town she entered.
'Mon3tr' charges towards a runaway Amiya as it's only there to kill her.
"What do you want from me!?" Amiya yelled.
"This way." A voice called.
"Huh?" Amiya, who is still on the run, witnesses a manhole opening as someone is trying to save her.
"Hurry!"
"Uh, right!" Amiya accepts by sliding on the ground, grabbing an arm and finally being yanked into a manhole.
Instantly, the manhole shuts as 'Mon3tr' headbutts the lid, causing it to rub its own head and groan in slight pain.
Then… 'Mon3tr' withdrew itself as it left the manhole alone, causing said manhole to slowly open.
After the manhole opened, 2 individuals climbed out as everything went quiet again.
"Phew… Thank you. You saved my life." Amiya sighed with relief as she turned to the one who saved her.
"You're welcome." A woman turned towards Amiya as she revealed herself to be a she-dragon who looked exactly like the one who's in charge of the Reunion Movement, leading Amiya to gasp in shock. "I'm glad that you're safe, young lady."
"Talulah!?" Amiya exclaimed as she leapt backwards and raised her arm.
"Eh? What's wrong?" Talulah isn't the way Amiya remembered her as.
"So I was being saved by the leader of the Reunion Movement."
Talulah opened her mouth as she said to Amiya "Former leader."
"Huh?" Lowering her arm, Amiya is surprised to hear Talulah's words.
"I gave up my position and gave my leadership to one of my loyal friends, Frostnova. So in truth, I was formerly a Reunion leader." Talulah explained as her expression turned serious.
"Right…" Amiya slowly understands as she realises that she actually did go back in time.
But why though?
"You may not be the leader of the Reunion, but as the leader of Rhodes Island, I will put you under custody." Said Amiya.
But Talulah laughed as she found what Amiya said amusing.
"Huh!? But it's true! I am the leader!" Amiya exclaimed.
"Really, now? If you're the leader, then why did this monster attack you?" Talulah is correct.
Amiya remembered being chased by Mon3tr out of the alleyway to a quiet city.
"Then… I'm the only one here, right? All I remember is waking up here and that's it. Before that is a battle between you and I… Doctor..."
"Hm… I guess you have amnesia." Talulah rubs her chin as she's staring into Amiya's eyes.
"Eh?"
"You're telling me some random stuff, but knowing that you're related to Rhodes Island, I'll take you there." Said Talulah after identifying a coat that says 'Rhodes Island.'
"Wait! Wouldn't they attack you if you're near?"
"I don't care. As long as you're safe, then you'll be able to regain everything about yourself."
Now Amiya is on a tightrope, all she has to do is to lie about being amnesiac.
"Um… Yeah! I forgot everything! I thought I remembered you, but we just met. Ehehe…" That was a lie as Amiya kept her cool.
"So you admitted it. I knew you would say that. Maybe an introduction, kid. I'm Talulah, considering you know my name. What about you, kid?"
Sighing as Amiya raises her head and making herself look confident in front of her 'supposed enemy.'
"My name is Amiya. Please, take me to Rhodes Island."
"Good, Amiya. Maybe we should come over to my place. Alina is living with me in Ursus."
"Sure!" Amiya accepted, following Talulah to come over to sleep at her place.
"I could also assume that you're formerly a leader." Talulah asked.
"Looks to be the case." Amiya sighed.
"I see. Also, be careful with the civilians, they don't take the Infected too kindly."
"Sure."
Finally, both 'former leaders' are strolling down the streets in order to avoid Mon3tr. Amiya then moves closer to Talulah as she's afraid of encountering familiar ones that will attack.
In the end, Amiya is staying with Talulah.
10XX May 1st
"Urgh… Where am I?" A hooded man groaned.
"Glad that you're awake, Doctor." A voice called which had the Doctor waking up with surprise.
"D- Dr. Kal'tsit!? Where am I?" The Doctor exclaimed as he remembered being with Amiya earlier.
"Uh… Rhodes Island." Kal'tsit answered.
"Is Amiya around?" The Doctor asked.
"Who?"
"Amiya, the bunny girl who I jokingly called her a donkey. The leader of Rhodes Island."
"Actually, Doctor, you got the wrong person. Don't tell me you're sleeping on the job again?"
"No, but if Amiya's not the leader, then who is? Tell me, Dr. Kal'tsit." The Doctor asked.
"Honestly… You forgot about Rosmontis? Doctor, are you in your imagination or something?" Kal'tsit sighed.
"Hold it, did you say 'Rosmontis!?'"
"Yes."
"HAH!?" The Doctor exclaimed as his leader is no longer Amiya, but her friend, Rosmontis.
In truth, both Amiya and the Doctor are separated and lost in the middle of nowhere.
What's their story?
