It's 07:35.
The base is already peaceful, the sky is bright as well as the birds cawing and the waves are splashing.
It's been a year since the kansens were saved by a young Commander, Mei.
As for the kansens, USS Cleveland is strolling back to the base from her errand, USS Enterprise and her bald eagle, Grim, are playing a video game console in her own bedroom, HMS Belfast is busy sweeping the base from being dirty, KMS Bismarck is watching the sea by her bedroom window as she's waiting for the enemy to come, IJN Akagi is washing herself while bathing in a hot canister of boiling water, considering that there's no hot water in the base, and finally…
IJN Atago, who was chosen to be the secretary ship, enters the Commander's office while carrying a cup with a warm smile.
"Your tea is here, Shikikan-sama."
"Ah. Thank you, Atago." Mei accepts the tea, given from Atago.
Afterwards, Atago is watching out of the office window as she can tell no one is coming after them, unless they're planning to.
"It's been a year since you rescued us. So, how's the commanding job going, Shikikan-sama?" Atago asked.
"Eh? It's going nicely. But I needed to pay the base's bill." Mei sighed as she picked up some papers which showed a lot of money to be spent on, especially water and electricity.
Atago then leans forward and wraps her arms behind Mei, making her feel like an older sister towards her Commander.
"I'm sure Cleveland dealt with this base's issue. Right now, we can rest after all that paperwork is done."
"Yeah. Thanks, Atago." Mei thanked Atago.
After their little chat, Atago is watching Mei playing her game on PC, after her paperwork of hell.
With the base this peaceful, a door was slammed open as Cleveland pants.
"They're here! The Sirens!"
Both Mei and Atago turned to the window as they witnessed a horde of produced ships as they're Pawns, the destroyers. With them are some humanoid Sirens that are also destroyers, Executor-class Explorers.
"They're only sending in the destroyers." Said Mei as she's relieved to fight something simple.
"They think we're that weak. Honestly, it's like they don't know who you really are, Shikikan-sama. We'll get prepared." Atago picked out a glowing blue wisdom cube.
"You're lucky I was on an errand, otherwise you'd be dead." Cleveland chuckled as she too picked out her own wisdom cube.
Mei nodded as she pressed the microphone button to call the base.
[Everyone, prepare yourselves. The Sirens are incoming.] Mei's voice is all over the base as it caught the other 4's attention as Bismarck obviously walked off with her cube after she grabbed her cape from the hanger.
Enterprise wakes up from her slumber as well as Grim, while the duo yawned from their nap time. Enterprise then turns off her game, instantly changing herself into her usual getup and finally puts on her hat.
"Let's go, Grim." Enterprise grinned as she pulled out her wisdom cube.
The eagle nods while following his friend and master.
Finally, Enterprise rushed away from her bedroom as she's about to follow Bismarck.
As for Akagi, she finally dried herself from her morning bath as she changed into her main kimono-like clothing and grabbed her wisdom cube.
"Ufufu, let this battle commence." Smirking as Akagi left the changing room and approached the outdoor port.
Finally, Belfast puts the broom down and picks out a wisdom cube after hearing the Siren alert from the Commander and then sprint towards the entrance of the academy building.

Akagi, Atago, Belfast, Bismarck, Cleveland and Enterprise are the only 6 that are standing outside of the base as they witnessed a bunch of Siren destroyers, both ships and humanoids.
"Good call, Clevebro." Enterprise laughed as she patted Cleveland's head.
"Clevebro, again? You know I'm a girl, Enty." Cleveland pouts as she blushed.
"Heh. Alright, Shikikan, what's our move?" Enterprise asked before turning on the speaker in her ear.
"Beat them up and never give up!" Mei is motivating her fleet to fight.
As for Mei, she appears in a blazer and a miniskirt as well as wearing her gloves and her hat.
Finally, a small, yet enough group are turning their cubes into riggings attached to their bodies as both Enterprise and Akagi have their flight deck in a very different design for both aircraft carriers, Bismarck's rigging is that of a battleship made out of Siren technology, Atago's rigging is a heavy cruiser whereas Belfast's and Cleveland are both light cruisers and their design are different to each other, due to being from different factions and countries.
"Of course we won't. Alright, ladies, make sure to keep our flagship Bisko alive!" Enterprise ordered.
"B- Bisko!? At least call me Bismarck, you scheiße." Bismarck sighed while blushing. "Also I'm the leader of this group."
"And I thought Atago-chan is." Akagi pointed out.
"Can we not fight over who is the flagship? We got these freaks to deal with." Belfast sighed as she went on the sea with Cleveland.
"Alright, Belfast. And I won't give out nicknames. I was thinking of something for psycho fox." Enterprise giggled as her teasing smug had caught Akagi's attention.
"If it's anything embarrassing or unfitting, you'll be digging in your own grave, bird brain!" Akagi pulls up a false smile while growling, making sure that Enterprise is screwed for naming her something unpleasant.
"Aww, what's the matter, psycho fox? Is someone afraid of having her fluffy tail insulted?" Enterprise mockingly asks as she and Akagi head-butted each other as they're staring daggers at each other. "Keep barking, because you'll suffer the same fate like before."
"I beg to differ! You and your feathered beak friend over here are going to drown when the Siren war is over!" Akagi barked.
"I'm so sorry about Akagi-san. She's never on good terms with the Eagle Union." Atago apologised to Cleveland about the old grudge still holds for more than a couple of years.
"To be honest, us and the Sakura Empire are old enemies after all, even when we joined to beat the Sirens off." Cleveland shrugs her shoulders as there's nothing she can do.
"Just ignore them, they can deal with each other while we do our own operation. It's okay, Shikikan, we'll make sure to prevent the Sirens from getting to you and Azur Lane." Said Bismarck.
"Thanks, Bismarck. Good luck everyone!" Waving as Mei is waiting for the fleet girls to come back and win against the Siren army for her.
Finally, Bismarck moved forward as she left her group to go ahead, then was followed by Belfast, Cleveland and Atago.
After the 4, Enterprise and Akagi are behind, leading them to follow their comrades without being left out.
Afterwards, a little bird in a hat, Manjuu appeared by standing on Mei's shoulder and grabbed his binoculars which were too big for him.
"Looks like everything's going accordingly, Shikikan." Asked Manjuu as he's giving his binoculars to Mei.
"Yeah. I hope they're not hurt."
"Don't worry, you did well in taking care of them and they even went through training, despite the bitter relationship between the Eagle Union and the Sakura Empire." Said Manjuu. "I'm glad your uncle had let you work here. It's unfortunate that they're just a small group, but at least they're still alive."
"Yeah. Hey, Teitoku." Mei called.
"Yeah?"
"What are the Sirens like? Why are they doing this?" Mei asked.
"Who knows. They obviously do have the same goal." Said Manjuu.
"Which is?"
"Dunno."
After the Admiral and the Commander's small talk, the duo salutes, then reatreats back to base as they're preparing to assist their group.
Outside in front of the naval base, 6 ships are hovering together as they're approaching the Sirens.
Leading the group as Bismarck is at the front, then slows down to go between both Enterprise and Akagi while reading her phone to scout anything unusual.
But nothing unusual is happening.
"Alright, ladies, the enemies are simple to beat. The Executor-class Explorers may be a tough bunch to beat due to their body shields, but they sure as hell won't stop us from defending Shikikan. The Pawns are the easiest ones to destroy. Now, it's time for them to sink into the bottom of the ocean! Sink them all!" Bismarck ordered the group.
"Roger!" The group replied.
"Grim, scout for anything beyond Bismarck's scouter." Enterprise lifts her arm by letting her eagle, Grim, fly away to do a scouting job.
As Grim gets past the Siren destroyer army, a couple of Explorers are moving forward as one of them looks serious, the other is singing her own song as she's looking forward to sinking the fleet or capturing the Commander.
"La la lala! Killing kansens!~" Singing Explorer A who was a cheerful one.
"This song is terrible… We're here to get Shikikan! We need the kansens alive so we can create more of our army." Explorer B who was the serious one, pick out the most advanced looking cannon which a Siren could produce and her eye is gotten from yellow to blue, pointing at the group as well as letting a group of Pawns raise their turrets as they appeared to be the futuristic boats which goes far beyond science and technology.
Explorer A remained as Explorer, whereas Explorer B is now Explorer II.
"FIRE!" Explorer II shouted, which led every single Pawns to fire their cannons as they fired out a bunch of glowing purple shells that were curving towards all the kansens.
As for the kansens, Bismarck raised her arm by carrying her own flag and then waved downwards as hard as she could by making a signal.
"Now's our move! Split up!"
"Roger!" The group replies as they're splitting up from each other as well as Bismarck, causing them to get chased by a bunch of curvy shells, which is obviously cheating.
On the left hand side, Enterprise, Cleveland and Belfast are boosting away from most of the shells as the shells are moving like missiles.
"I got this!" Shouted Enterprise while pulling her bow string as an arrow appears golden as it glows.
After Enterprise releases the arrow from her bow as the arrow turns into a [Grumman F6F hellcat] fighter plane, leading the plane to fire bullets at all the purple shells and then charge towards the Sirens.
Next to Enterprise's fighter plane is Akagi's [Kawanishi N1K3-A Shiden kai 2] fighter plane, causing both planes to rush towards said destroyers by firing their bullets as it successfully creates a bullet line on all the destroyer ships.
And then boom from some ships as they're blown up by the planes that Akagi and Enterprise sent out to block the shells.
"Hm?~ I must say, despite your hatred towards Akagi, you two make a pretty good team together." Belast turned to Enterprise with a smile.
"Peh!" But Enterprise heavily disagreed.
"We're almost there! Let's show 'em how weak we are!" Cleveland clenched her fist, knowing how dumb Sirens can sometimes be (even though they're too intelligent.)
At the other side, Atago, Akagi and Bismarck are charging towards the destroyer group as Bismarck fires her [Triple 305mm (SK C/39 prototype)] BB cannon which was targeting Explorer and Explorer II.
Atago targets the Pawns by firing her [Triple 310mm (type 0 prototype)] CA main cannon at all of them by giving Bismarck a clear target.
With so many explosions happening, kansens are regrouping together as they're boosting together towards a couple of Explorers.
"Tch! Don't screw with me! Suffer the same fate as your comrades!" Explorer II shouted as she fired a bunch of glowing blue shells as they're moving towards the 6.
"Again? Honestly, they never learn, do they?" Sighed Akagi, seeing as the Sirens are not going to back down against them.
"But don't forget, they're not normal. So there's a reason why they send in a bunch of destroyers." Atago said as she began to unsheath her katana and sliced all the shells into pieces.
"Then let's play dirty. Cleveland, Belfast, make sure to take down more Pawns and a Explorer, get Atago closer to Explorer mk.II. Akagi, Enterprise, bombard the enemy fleet!" Bismarck ordered.
"Heh, then it's settled! Let's go, Belfast!" Cleveland grinned as she's preparing to go on ahead.
"If that's the case, then sure." Belfast, while following Cleveland, is now boosting towards the Siren horde as she readies her [Triple 152mm (BL 6" mk XXV prototype)] main cannon by targeting all the curvy shells as well as the Pawns.
"Ara. I hope your plan works." Atago follows both Azur Lane light cruisers as she unsheathes her katana and boosts behind them.
"Heh. Then leave it to the Big E!" Enterprise, along with Akagi, raised their flight deck as Enterprise pulled her bow by making her arrow glow, whereas Akagi turned her shikigami papers into flames.
"Oh? Maybe they can fear us, or better yet, fear me!" Akagi laughed as the duo released their planes which are Akagi's [Yokosuka suisei model 12A] and Enterprise's [Douglas BTD-1 destroyer] dive bomber planes.
In Explorer II's point of view, both Cleveland and Belfast are barging through a bunch of Pawns without any effort as the shells are being fired.
But the truth is that Cleveland used [Twin 127mm (5"/38 mk 32)] secondary cannon to take advantage against the shells as well as the torpedoes.
"What the!?" Explorer II exclaimed.
"Don't worry! I-"
As the Explorer managed to block Explorer II, a katana unknowingly rocked towards them as it punctured Explorer through the throat, leading some of the blood to stain Explorer II's face.
"No way…"
"Ufufu, now it's your turn!" Atago yanked the sword off of Explorer as her head is now split vertically.
Then firing as she splashed around Explorer II, Atago slid past and pulled her arm backwards while holding her katana backwards, leading her to jab Explorer II's heart from behind.
"Goodbye." Atago whispered as she could see the dive bombers above her until…
A loud and massive explosion occurs.
After the bombing of the Siren destroyers, the sea is set in flames like it's hell.
The planes have returned to their owners as both Enterprise and Akagi lowered their riggings by watching the hellish flames along with Bismarck.
"Did we win?" Enterprise asked.
"It seems so." Bismarck concluded.
"Oh, and psycho fox."
"What is it?" Akagi asked as her tone changed from her usual sinister self to a disgruntled one.
"I think Atago could be dead. Oh dear me, I think we need a replacement!" Enterprise said mockingly while making sure that Akagi will lose her comrade.
"If she's actually dead, then I'll bomb you next!" Akagi growled by pulling Enterprise's shirt
After that, both carriers received a karate chop on their heads by Bismarck.
"Will you two stop fighting? She's not dead, see for yourselves."
As both Cleveland and Belfast arrive behind Atago, Atago then waves her sword, cleans the blood off of her katana and then sheaths it back in its scabbard. Atago finally turns on her speaker while approaching both Cleveland and Belfast with a soft smile.
"Mission accomplished, Shikikan-sama."
[Great! Let's go back to base! I knew we could do it!]
[Remember, always be on your surroundings, same goes for you girls.]
"Indeed, Teitoku. We'll be returning safe and unharmed." Said Atago.
Finally, the 6 regrouped as they retreated back to base, knowing what's going to happen next since the Sirens won't stop coming after their Commander Mei.
In the end, they'll always find a way to make a peace treaty for all the factions in different countries.
