Outside at the ground of Wadatsumi naval base, Asashio, Ushio and Tatsuta are rushing outside towards the main hall as Uzuki arrives out of the cafeteria.

"Senpai!" Uzuki called out of desperation.

"Uzuki-chan?" Tatsuta had caught a glimpse of a certain destroyer who arrived without Asashimo.

"What's going on, Uzuki-san?" Asashio asked.

"Abyssal… First… Scary dog… Pyon..." Panting as Uzuki is exhausted from running out of the cafeteria.

"Scary dog?" Ushio can imagine what Uzuki is talking about, a dog that is scarier than usual.

"No, she's on about the abyssal. Did you find her?" Asashio asked.

"No, but I saw this scary dog-girl who was the first abyssal!" Uzuki exclaimed.

"First abyssal? First… First generation! There's a connection between this base and the abyssal! Uzuki-san, where's Asashimo-san!?" Asashio exclaimed after learning about this Naval base and its history with the abyssals.

"She told me to leave her to fight this scary dog-girl." Uzuki answered as she realised that Asashimo is playing the suicide route.

"More enemies, huh. Now this is getting interesting." Tatsuta moved her eyes towards the main building before something happened.

After that, rocketing outside with smoke coming out of her body is Ashigara as she then slides on the ground as well as being heavily damaged.

"Sensei!" Ushio exclaimed as the group rushed towards the body with a damaged rigging.

"Gh! Shit! Beaten by a destroyer!?" Ashigara grunts while trying to pick herself up.

"Oh? Would you look at that? Looks like a bird-lady is here to face us." Said Tatsuta.

"Bird-lady!?" Uzuki gasped as she and the others witnessed a woman with metal wings walking with her glowing red eyes staring into their souls.

"I was right all along. The second generation kanmusus are here to kill us. For a younger being such as yourself, you performed surprisingly better than our opponents, especially when you're all alone."

Harpy waved a smoke away as she appeared in a damaged state.

"What is that!?" Ushio gasped.

"The first generation abyssal… Harpy!" Ashigara answered.

"First? Perfect." Tatsuta is so happy to face an old model of an abyssal.

"I could assume that Warg is busy with one of your comrades?" Harpy asked.

After Harpy's question, another explosion occurred as a dark skinned woman with animal ears and a tail got thrown to the sky and then was shot by 2 shells that was coming from a badly damaged Asashimo.

"Asashimo-san!" Asashio called.

"That's right… How do you like that, bitch!?" Asashimo yelled at Warg who was now dropping near Harpy and other shipgirls.

"I guess a destroyer had beaten you." Harpy sighed.

"Shut up! That little brat! How dare you try to beat a light cruiser who is more experienced than you!?" Warg barked while going down on all fours like a dog in rage.

"EXCUSE ME!? All of us are experienced in fighting shit, you blind old bat!" Asashimo yelled as immortality is getting annoying due to reincarnation.

"Shut up SHUT UP SHUT UP!" Warg yelled.

"Be quiet. You know arrogance isn't going to help you, Warg." Harpy sighed.

"But…"

"If the mistress finds out about your actions, then chances are that we're going to be scrapped."

As the group are struggling as well as a couple of old abyssals, Wanko arrives with a bag of shipgirl corpses and some old equipment for the abyssals.

"You're… Who are you?"

"Seaport?" Warg gasped.

"We're your fellow abyssals from the abyss. I'm afraid you have to retreat back to your base, second generation." Said Harpy.

"Hold on, what!? First generation!?" Wanko gasped as she's surprised to hear what they actually were.

"If you don't retreat, then you'll get yourself killed. Tell your defective leader, Dyson, that we have returned to the abyss." Said Harpy.

"Um… Yes. But I didn't get your name." Wanko is confused by what's going on and why they are from the abyss.

"Hawk Devil class destroyer, Harpy. And this is a Wolf class light cruiser, Warg." Harpy answered while holding Warg by the arms and blocking the shells from getting to the trio by using her wings and her cannon. "Just go. We may not see each other again, but you'll see your ancestors from the abyss."

As Wanko became reluctant on leaving the duo alone, she then zoomed to the side as she avoided Asashimo, Uzuki and Asashio's shells and finally dived to the sea and swam away from the trio.

"No!" Uzuki yelled.

"Damn it! She got away!" Asashimo yelled.

Unfortunately, Wanko had escaped after failing to kill her opponents.

"Damn you…" Ashigara growled.

"Sorry, small fries, but you're facing us as your last opponents." Harpy hissed by sharpening her claws.

"Oh yeah!? Some of us may be damaged, but we can still kick your asses!" Asashimo shouted while pointing out both her [12.7cm twin gun mount model D kai 2] and [12.7cm twin gun mount model D kai 3] cannons at a couple of abyssals.

"Everyone! All of you need to refuel, now! I'll take care of them!" Ashigara ordered.

"Are you sure?" Ushio asked out of worry.

"We can't, sensei. Not when you're like this. We'll take care of them." Asashio declines as she, Asashimo, Tatsuta, Ushio and Uzuki are lining up together with their cannons and a spear.

"Are you mad!? They're the first generation abyssals! Do you realise what they're capable of!?" Ashigara finally got onto her feet as she refused to let her comrades do something suicidal.

"And the hungry wolf stands. Sic 'em all, Warg." Harpy ordered.

"With pleasure!" Warg then got on all fours and then leapt like a wolf…

Until Tatsuta instantly stabs Warg through the mouth all the way to the abyssal's neck, curb stomping a fellow light cruiser with a spear.

"No talkies, okay?" Tatsuta then tossed the body of Warg aside towards the sea…

Causing Warg to sink to the ocean.

Harpy realised that the humans who created the next generation shipgirls are inhuman for turning humans into living weapons, especially when they're a huge improvement to fend off against the abyssal fleet.

"Now I get why our fellow abyssals are fighting this long, they have some very high level defence that us first generation lacked. Heh, well played, small fries. You may have killed Warg, but you will sink to the abyss."

"Honestly, you're on the same level as that battleship Ru-class, and that says a lot, considering that you're all obsolete." Said Asashio raising her [12.7cm twin gun mount model C kai 2] cannon out of malice.

"That's some quote you got there, Asashio-chan." Tatsuta was impressed with the confidence the destroyers were going through.

"Thanks, Tatsuta-senpai."

"That may be the case. We may be outdated, but at least our mistress is playing fair, unlike that defective one." Harpy then marches past the group who're still targeting her, letting herself go from the loss of her comrade. "You can sink me all you like. But hear me out, the abyss is a secret, no man will ever set foot into our world. Someday, you will die if you take one step into our home."

Finally…

"Fire!"

Asashio, Asashimo, Tatsuta, Ushio and Uzuki fires their cannons as Harpy's mechanical wings as well as her choker with chains and claws are breaking apart, causing her to bleed too much as well as her already torn clothes are getting torn to shreds even more.

Then Harpy is going down through the sea with a smile as she already admitted her defeat after her partial victory against the 1st generation shipgirls.

"Let us go, Warg. They'll carry the torch for us. Small fries… Seek yourselves to the abyss and claim victory, no matter how long it takes to bring the sea back to mankind… Goodbye." Harpy then raised her arm as her hand was the only thing at the surface.

Then it's gone.

Harpy has sunken.

In the end, they may not have defeated Wanko, but they already stopped the Seaport from being possessed.

"I'm sorry, sensei. We did our best." Asashio apologised as she's guilty for letting Wanko get away.

Then Ashigara waved her finger for her team to regroup and then pat Asashio's head.

"Hmph, she may have won the battle, but we have something important to send out." Ashigara grinned as she held out a bunch of papers containing the 1st generation information.

"What's that?" Uzuki asked.

"The documents about the first generation kanmusu. I heard that they're funded by Taiwan in 2009, a year after they were created around the world. Like we were built and funded by Japan in 2013, which were our previous models and fuzzy memories." Ashigara answered with more details.

"I didn't realise we're that ancient. Maybe our immortality had kept our cuteness intact. Ufufu…" Tatsuta chuckled after knowing how many years of experience she's been through.

"If you would've learned some history lesson, then you might know when we're created, stupid." Asashimo sighed, then glanced at Ushio. "Hey, cow tits, what's wrong with you?"

"Am I really that old!?" Ushio asked as she feared to be an old lady at a time like this.

"I dunno. Maybe, pyon?" Uzuki shrugged her shoulders, knowing they're mentally old while being forever physically youthful.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Ushio is devastated after hearing the truth. "What if no man will ever love me?"

"That's ironic! You've been sexually assaulted during your previous incarnation, so why the hell do you want a boyfriend!?" Asashimo shouted.

"Would you guys stop arguing! Honestly, it's like babysitting a bunch of brats, minus Tatsuta-san, but at least grow up for once!" Ashigara yelled.

"Sorry, sensei." All the destroyers apologised except for Asashimo who scoffed.

"Good. Still we need to send this to the independent naval base. But first… We need to clean this base up. Once we do, someone's ready to be Teitoku in this base. Now, let's get to work." Ashigara ordered.

"Roger!" The group replied while splitting up into groups in different buildings.

Finally, Ashigara is watching the view as their afternoon is just bizarre after facing the old and current abyssals.

But at least they won.

Objective: Destroy the Seaport Harbour Princess (Objective Failed)

Outside at the sea at 21:15 near Japan, the sun is already gone as the group is wrapped up and completely refilled and repaired by the resources.

"Sensei, now what?" Asashio asked.

"We're going home. Let's hope the independent naval base keeps this document safe." Ashigara answered. "In the meantime, we'll come back soon and succeed at our jobs."

"I hope. The abyssal fleet is getting more and more tactical than we imagined. I hope they're okay…" Asashio grunts.

"You mean the independent ones? I'm sure they'll be fine." Tatsuta sighed.

"Yeah! Don't worry, Asashio-san, as long as they're safe, then Teitoku is safe as well." Said Ushio.

Finally, Ashigara's group are heading to the beach back to Japan as they're getting some rest as well as something to eat together.

On the rooftop of Yokosuka Naval Base as the sun rises early in the morning, the base shows to be deserted as no man has touched the base recently.

A girl who is similar to Inazuma is watching Ashigara's group retreat to their place. A short girl remained silent as she's still eyeing those who come across the old base, the Yokosuka naval base.

Despite looking exactly like Inazuma, she appeared to be pale with bleached hair, her clothing difference is that she wears a black scarf with a III badge attached to it which matches the one on her long sleeved sailor top, black gloves, and also bespectacled and finally wears an unusual armband that easily reads [secretary ship] while looking a little torn as well as a part of a long fabric waved by the wind.

Her golden eyes are staring at those outside of the Yokosuka naval base, knowing that they're not setting foot there.

Then she turns on a speaker in her ear.

"Cancel the deployment. The enemy is no longer coming here. They have been defeated." A girl called.

[Will do so. Return to the base. Breakfast is waiting.] An unknown voice called.

"Nanodesu."

A familiar looking girl then turns away as she's closing her eyes. And then open them with her flashing golden eyes.

The girl is eyeing another familiar looking girl as she's letting a friend know.

"Breakfast is ready for us."

"Hmph." A tall long black haired one then follows a short one as the duo are grabbing something to eat.

"The first generation kanmusu and abyssals are a very interesting concept, not gonna lie." A white haired short girl said.

"Well, they're old. That's why we're their replacements." The tall one said. "What would our future look like?"

"Who knows. I already saw one myself." The short one answered.

"I see. Will you save them?"

"Nanodesu. But sometimes, they need to die as well."

"I see."
