![]() Author has written 3 stories for Code Geass, Bleach, and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. News: Black Uprising is on the horizon of my mind, but it's been so long that I've lost my files on where the series was supposed to go. While I'm reorganizing that mess into what I can manage, I'm also working on two other stories that have been on my backburner for too long: Re: Bleach and Rebirth of Arcadia. Re: Bleach will be a darker, more serious take on Tite Kubo's series. Expect less action, almost no humor, and heavy issues there. Rebirth of Arcadia was an idea I had when looking over YouTube videos about 5Ds and researching the traumatic world of cults. Follow Akiza as this story (hopefully) does for her what Dark Side of Dimensions did for Yugi and Kaiba. Some things about me: Favorite Game: Assassin's Creed (series) Favorite Shows: Black Butler, Bleach, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Dragonball/Dragonball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood, Soul Eater, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, Arrow, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Black Lightning, Doctor Who, Justice League/Unlimited, RWBY, Spawn: The Animated Series, Teen Titans (classic), The Flash, and Young Justice. Favorite Movie: V for Vendetta The Butterfly Effect: According to Newton's Laws of Motion, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." There is also a theory stating that there are positive and negative reactions in complete balance with every choice we make. Many cultures state that good and evil forces are always in conflict within humanity, balancing each other. Therefore, to protect life, the balance between these opposing forces must be preserved as well. With that in mind, try to remember the careful balance between life and death. For every life gained, one or more lives are sacrificed. This forms the basic concept that there is a limited supply of souls and life force. However, there is another theory, one which plays a significant role in Fullmetal Alchemist. "Man cannot obtain anything without first sacrificing something. In order to obtain, something of equal value must be lost. This is the basic principle of Equivalent Exchange."- Alphonse Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist. Using that theory for life, we can see that balance is not just with physics or the natural world around us. In Fullmetal Alchemist, the ultimate taboo among Alchemists is Human Transmutation, which involves souls. If you try to create or recreate even a single soul, another soul is needed to take its place. Simply put, it is an equivalent exchange. But if you are still having trouble understanding the concept, allow me to explain in full. You see, for everything action you take, there is always something to balance it out for every decision you make. You cannot take without giving something in return. That includes anything, especially things involving death and the space-time continuum. Combining all of these theories and laws combine into one organized collective known as The Laws of Equivalence or The Butterfly Effect. |
