CHAPTER 4

The green lightning flowing around Izuku intensified as he focused on the amount of power.

"Alright try going a bit more." the dark skinned trainer told him.

Following what she had told him to do he increased the power a little bit. Only for the lightning to stop as his body fell down. Miruko ran over to see what was wrong

"You okay kid?"

"Yeah I just went a bit too far." Izuku said to his teacher.

It had been a few weeks since he learned how to do Full-Cowling (as he called it) but he was still searching for his limit. Miruko had been helping him so far but he wasn't making much progress with it.

"How much power did you use this time?"

"About 55%." Izuku replied, getting over the pain rather quickly.

"Alright well it's about time you head home for today anyway." Miruko said.

"Oh ok." Izuku said a bit sad that he needs to go home. As Izuku began walking over to the door of the room Miruko spoke up.

"Oh yeah bring some normal clothes tomorrow." Miruko added.

"Sure, but why?" Izuku said back.

"We're going on a field trip." Miruko said fairly excitedly. "Well get going already." she said while practically pushing him out of the room.

"Okay then?" Izuku began walking toward the exit peeking his head into Yumi's office to say goodbye, then walking out to the street and began making his way back home. It was peaceful, the sun was setting in the horizon painting the sky with an orange hue that made the clouds look like an art piece. Izuku was looking up at the sky remembering everything that had happened.

From being outed as quirkless to gaining All Might's quirk, THE All Might's quirk, he could still hardly believe it. And now he's being taught by Miruko, life really is a rollercoaster of emotions, the world used to be black and white to Izuku but now it's a myriad of bright colours flowing all around the place. This was hope. Something Izuku used to have very little of, but he still thought something was wrong but he didn't know what.

But before he could think on it, he arrived home, he walked in and announced he was home, he walked through his home remembering his mum wasn't home tonight due to her being away for work for the week, making his way to the living room which doubled as a dining room he saw Toga and All Might sitting at the table waving at the two he walked past them to his room to get changed... Quickly turning around and pushing his head through the door and looked back to the dinner table "All Might!"

A massive grin appeared on his face that was accentuated by his long skinny chin. "Hello Young Izuku." he said with a wave of his arm.

"Sorry I invited him because Inko's away." Toga said while bowing her head.

"No. no it's all right i just wasn't expecting him." Izuku making sure his door was almost closed.

"I must not let All Might see into my room… If he sees all the All Might merch, he might ask for One for All back." Izuku thought being completely wrong. But he didn't know that.

Quickly rushing back into his room he had to get changed fast so they wouldn't try and come in. Throwing on one of his one word shirts and some black shorts. He basically ran out of the room to join the two sitting at the table.

Joining them at the table, he sat and clapped his hand together. "Thank you for the food." the three sat at the table in silence for a few minutes until All Might spoke up.

"So Young Izuku how was training today?" Clearly trying to make small talk.

"It was good, I'm still trying to regulate the power properly without damaging my body from using too much but I can only use it in percentages of 5 or 10 like 15 or 20 but not 27 or 13 and i can-" Izuku's muttering was stopped by Toga placing her hand on his month.

"Stop muttering, we have a guest here." Toga said with an oddly calm voice with a fiery undertone.

"Sorry." Izuku said under his breath.

The three continued eating trying to forget what just happened.

"So tomorrow is a day off from school. What's the plan for the day?" All Might asked, trying to brighten the mood.

"Well I plan on training extra hard." Toga said first.

"What about you, Young Izuku"

"Well Miruko has planned a trip somewhere, didn't tell me where though."

"Well bring me back a gift." All Might laughed.

With that dinner wrapped up, All Might helped clean up before he left.

Izuku took a shower to wash away the tiredness of the day. As the water rushed down his body he followed it with his eyes only to see the scars that litter his body, suddenly remembering that it's been a few days since Toga got to drink his blood. Quickly leaving the shower to help her only to leave the bathroom to be met by darkness. There was nothing but the pitch black of the night. Izuku took a few looks around before shouting "HIMIKO!" Suddenly he felt stares from all directions. He took a step back into the bathroom only to start falling. As he fell for about 20 seconds before someone caught his hand. It was Toga holding on for dear life as he began pulling himself up only for her to be swallowed up by the darkness, he reached his hand to where she used to be only for nothing to be there. Then he felt the stares coming from behind him again this time though he turned to face them only for there to be a set of 8 eyes glaring at him, all the eyes a different colour. Then all of a sudden Izuku shot up in his brightly coloured All Might room.

It was a dream. "I must have passed out after All Might left." Izuku thought while sweat ran down his entire body. He looked over at his clock only to see it was 7:00 am. He was late. By 3 hours, he had no choice but to skip his morning training, he bursted out of his bed as he ran over to his closet and threw on some clothes, he rushed toward the door and ran out of it, he had to meet Miruko in 2 hours and the train left in an hour, so he didn't have much time to himself this morning.

He ran toward his fridge and saw a note on the front of it. - Hey it's Toga you've got breakfast in the fridge for you I'll have dinner ready when you get home so have fun but be careful. P.S remember to brush your teeth :)

Izuku cringed as he read that last bit but continued anyway and grabbed the food from the fridge and scarfed it down as he ran to put his shoes on, he reached the door… and groaned he turned around and ran into the bathroom and began brushing his teeth. Quickly he ran back to the door and made a swift exit turning around to lock the door on his way out.

He ran through the streets with no sign of slowing down as he approached the train station and jumped on the first train that was going where he needed to be.

As Miruko stood staring at her watch she grimaced. He was late. She began tapping her feet impatiently wondering how late he was going to be. Just as she was about ready to bash someone's skull in, the green mop head turned the corner waving his hands like a madman.

"Sorry I'm late, I slept in." Izuku bowed while he said that, a massive bump on the back of his head in the shape of Miruko's hand.

"Don't let it happen again, Anyway let's go." Miruko began walking away. Izuku stood there for a good second in confusion

"Just a hit really. I feel like she would be beating me senseless for that." Izuku thought but decided to keep that to himself. Quickly running to catch up to her.

"So where are we going." Izuku asked to which Miruko turned around to face her young student.

"An underground fight club."

"huh?"

Izuku found himself underground surrounded by a bunch of people.

"Mir-" Izuku started but was cut off before he could finish what he was saying.

"Call me Rumi, saying my hero name here would just start trouble." Rumi said seriously.

"R-Rumi what are we doing here?" Izuku asked in a hushed tone.

"Getting information. I know the leader of this place, he gives me information and I give him freedom to keep his business open. But stay close to me because it's still a dangerous place." She said then turned around to face Izuku only to find he wasn't there.

"shit Yumi's gonna kill me."

"Where the hell am I?" Izuku was lost. Rumi was right in front and then. Gone, he looked around to try and find her but to no avail.

As he walked around in an attempt to find Rumi or the exit, the place was like a maze. Every turn felt like he was backtracking, panic began to set in as he realized he was surrounded by villains and was lost. "What the hell do I do?" was the only question he could ask himself.

He turned another corner and bumped into someone. He was caught in smaller warm hands, he looked up to face his saviour only to see a woman with candy pink hair and blood red eyes that looked at him with a strange kindness you wouldn't expect to see down here with all the villains. Upon remembering where he was Izuku shot away from the woman and bowed.

"Sorry about that."

What Izuku was not expecting to happen happened. The girl smiled at him. Izuku was taken aback, he was surrounded by villains yet this girl smiled at him, what was this feeling.

"You're kinda cute." The woman said with a slight giggle.

Now Izuku was really confused, this girl thought he was cute. Was this love?

She grabbed his hand "Come on. Let's go have some fun." She began pulling him along and only now Izuku noticed what she was wearing.

She had a short black leather jacket on top of her black crop top with a choker around her neck, with black jeans and black shiny high heels. All the black clothing made her pale skin stick out more.

Her blood red eyes seemed to be moving, almost swirling, but Izuku didn't care, there was something about this girl, he just couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Through here." she said as she dragged him to a curtain like door.

But just before they could enter a hand grabbed onto both his and the girl's.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Rumi said with a threatening undertone.

"Wah-oh-unn Rumi sorry I got lost." Izuku started as he pulled his hand out of the girl's.

"Ohhhh he's with you is he?" the woman said almost apologetically.

"Yeah so back off."

The look in both of their eyes scared Izuku.

The woman then turned to Izuku "Sorry bout that. I used my quirk on you. My name's Aphrodite. Nice to meet you."

"Oh I'm Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you."

Izuku noticed that he didn't feel like he loved her anymore. Was that part of her quirk?

"Anyway since you're here Rumi. Wanna hang out? Me and the rest of The Order are here." Aphrodite asked the hero.

"Hmmm why not. I'm trying to show Izuku around the underworld a bit so meeting you guys might be good for him." Rumi responded without any of the rage from earlier.

As they began walking toward a massive arena Izuku looked at Rumi "What's The Order?"

His teacher looked at him and sighed "The Order are a mercenary group that deals with any situation they get paid to. It consists of three members."

"Aphrodite. The only woman among them. Her quirk is Beauty. Anyone that looks her in the eye while it's active falls deeply in love with her. She uses it to gain information by making the target fall in love with her."

"The second member is Hermes. His quirk is Velocity. He can increase his speed and change his direction at a moment's notice. He can use his quirk to distract his enemies. And can increase his momentum to strike people and eventually render them useless. He's a force not to be reckoned with."

"And the last of The Order is it's leader. Charon. The strongest of the three. He's a man of few words but don't take him lightly. His quirk is Weapon's Master. He can create any weapon he wants from smoke that shoots out of his body. Not only that he can surround his foe with the smoke and make weapons shoot into them. His strength is insane. From what I've heard he has only lost twice. And even then it was barely."

Izuku was dumbfounded by that last bit. How strong is that guy?

Before Izuku could think about it anymore, they arrived at an arena.

"Come on in." Aphrodite said to the two.

Following the pink haired woman into the arena they found a fighting ring.

"The main attraction here in the underworld. Welcome to the fighting pit."

As the three walked in, a fight was just finishing up. Still following Aphrodite up to one of the stands where there sat two other people.

One was a shorter guy with yellow hair, who looked like he could barely sit still.

The other one was a taller guy with black hair and a stoic expression on his face.

"Hey you guys!" Aphrodite yelled at the two. The shorter of the two quickly turned to face the three while the other guy slowly turned his head, groaned, then turned back to the pit.

"Hey Aphro, hey Rumi, who's the kid?" the shorter one said not stopping to catch his breath once.

"This is Izuku Midoriya. He's Rumi's sidekick." Aphrodite replied to the young man.

"Ohhhhhh heya nice to meet you, I'm Hermes. And the one behind me is Charon." Hermes said, still not catching his breath as he spoke.

Charon is still sitting there watching the fight begin. The rest of them decided to join him.

"And please welcome our two competitors. Coming in from one side is the infamous, deadly and massive, Devilman." A man triple the size of Izuku walked in the pit with skin as dark as the night itself, and hair bursting out of every bit of skin visible.

"And coming in from the other side is the undefeated. Shi." From the other side of the pit walked in, a man that had to be about 6'1 in height facing down against the goliath.

For some reason the smaller of the two sent a chill down Izuku's spine but he had no idea why.

"Begin!" The voice on the speaker boomed out.

Almost as soon as the fight began the bigger of the two cut the distance in less than a second. He raised his fist and as he was about to bring it down.

A loud thud rang out from the arena. The Devilman has shot to the other side of the pit in an instant. He couldn't move as he was stuck in the wall almost like gravity itself was pushing him back.

"Is that quirk just for show?" Shi said mockingly. The Devilman began struggling for freedom but to no avail.

"I'm honestly disappointed, I thought you might've been at least worth the effort" Shi continued speaking to the unmoving foe.

As The Devilman began screaming for help. While seemingly crushed by an unknown weight.

"Goodbye. Devilman." Was the last thing The Devilman heard as gravity switched from pushing him against the wall to pushing him down toward the core of the earth. The screaming began as the bones in his leg were shattered. His knees snapping backward, pushing his back against the ground. The screams became a liquidly mess as his ribs pushed and snapped, piercing his organs as blood began pooling around him with bits of bone flowing in it. The next sound was his nose pushing inward, breaking due to the weight. The last crack came from his skull as it shattered and mushed his brain.

Shi began walking away as the result of the fight was called.

Izuku wanted to vomit watching the massacre. No that wasn't the right term. Obliteration.

Blood and gore littered the pit one second, but the next it was clean probably due to someone's quirk.

"All right well onto the next match. Random selection. A light will shine down on two people and they will fight. If the light shines on you and you refuse. You will die." The announcer boomed out again.

A spotlight began shining on and off in multiple locations around the arena. Until one stopped on Izuku. Panic set in on him and Rumi as Izuku had no choice but to fight.

"All right young boy, step forward if you wish to live." Following what the man said Izuku got up and moved toward the pit.

"Anyone want to fight this teenager?" The voice asked everyone. The entire audience began going crazy. They all wanted to fight him. To kill him. But one man standing up shut everyone up in an instant. Charon stepped down.

Rumi was about to try and run down to protect Izuku but was grabbed by Hermes before she could take a step.

Izuku was now face to face with the blacked haired man. They took a few steps back.

"Ready." Izuku heard those words and began activating One for All, taking a stance as he did so. The pink veins showing on his entire body. Charon remained unmoving.

"Set." The green lightning began shooting around the teen as he looked his opponent in the eyes. Charon simply blinked at the teen.

"GO!" As those words boomed out. Izuku shot toward Charon using One for All at 15%. Cutting the distance between the two almost instantly. He swung his arm toward Charon. Charon simply stepped out the way.

"Huh?" Izuku said as he managed to land with a skid. This guy just moved. Didn't counterattack or anything, just moved almost like he was dancing.

He wasn't taking Izuku seriously and this pissed Izuku off. Even with All Might's power there are still people who look down on him like this. The green lightning-covered teen shot toward the black haired man. And he missed again. Charon just stepped out of the way with the grace of a professional dancer. But Izuku didn't just give up this time. He continued his assault. But he just kept stepping out of the way.

Izuku touched his foot on the ground and shot away from Charon. "Why even with One for All am I so slow? I'm trying but I can't even hit this guy. And he looks so relaxed." Izuku thought.

But then it clicked in his mind. The green lightning disappeared. He looked toward the ground.

"Ohhh has the kid given up?" The speaker boomed out again.

Izuku relaxed his muscles as he inhaled then exhaled. He looked toward Charon and opened his eyes. He raised one foot and brought it down lightly. As soon as it touched the ground. The green lightning shot around him. No pink veins this time.

"Whenever I use One for All. It's like I'm holding onto it. Like a sword handed to me by All Might. But it's not. It's not a weapon. It's part of me, my power." Izuku thought.

The next step toward Charon he took. He shot toward him using 15%. But he was much faster this time. Because he was relaxed. He wasn't worried about his limit.

He swung but Charon just dodged again. Izuku however didn't give up. He kept up his attack.

"Not Enough!" Izuku shouted out as he increased the amount of power he was using up to 20%. The lightning getting more intense along with his power growing. Continuing to attack his opponent. Charon however just kept dodging the super-powered teen.

This kept pissing Izuku off. Even pushing his power up more did nothing. But he wasn't about to give up. One for All shot up farther. 25%. The lightning growing ever more. Charon noticed the bigger change and adjusted himself to keep up with Izuku.

Throwing more punches and kicks at the man that kept dodging. Still no hits were connecting as Izuku was getting more frustrated. "He notices whenever I use more power and keeps dodging. How the hell am I meant to hit him?" Izuku thought while still attacking.

Izuku was about to change something. He swung his fist and missed again. And tapped his foot off the ground. "I'm relaxed now so it might be different? Please be different." Izuku begged in his head as he tried to fine tune his power. As he shot toward Charon faster than he had been going before. 27%. "It's not much of a difference but that's why I'm using it" Izuku thought. As he swung toward the man. Charon turned around to face him and was slightly taken aback. He was faster. Stronger. Izuku's fist connected with Charon's face as he shot past him.

He did it. He landed a hit on Charon. He stopped himself from going too far by skidding to a stop. He didn't have time to celebrate as he turned to face Charon. The darkness in his eyes had increased as he met Izuku's gaze.

Something about him had changed. Izuku felt a certain fear coming off this man. Death. The fear of death was flowing off him. All of a sudden smoke filled the arena. Charon disappeared. As Izuku looked around to try and find the man. Something hit him in the back of the neck. And like that Izuku was knocked out.

"Heh I knew it. Izuku really does learn faster when in an actual fight." Miruko thought to herself. She hadn't planned this but she was glad it happened.

Izuku awoke and looked around confused by where he was. Then he remembered he basically got shamed and got his ass kicked by Charon. It had been a few hours and apparently he was in some sort of medical bay. He walked out only to be greeted by Aphrodite landing in the same way as earlier.

She let out a small giggle as Izuku pushed away from her. "You really need to watch where you're going. That's twice today" Izuku blushed. But he couldn't reply as he was slapped on the back.

"Good, glad to see you're still alive and kickin!" Hermes yelled at him.

Charon looked at him and said the first thing for the day. "One for All." Everything seemed to darken around Izuku as he focused on Charon. Miruko walked over and said something but Izuku didn't hear her.

"Hmm, What was that Charon? One for All? What's that?" Aphrodite followed Charon and saw Izuku looking as pale as someone dead.

"Woah kid are you all right?" Miruko said shaking him to make sure.

Izuku broke out of his trance and looked at her. "E-earlier you said he only lost to two people. Who were they?" Izuku asked fear setting in.

"Hmm. Well one of them was All Might. The other one was a strong villain though I don't remember his name. Why, what's up?" Miruko said not catching onto Izuku's nerves.

Izuku looked back at Charon who only had a grin on his face.

Aphrodite seemed to figure something out as she basically forced everyone to head home for the day.

With everything that had happened today Izuku was exhausted. But now he (thinks he) has full control over One for All and the percentages.

As Izuku looked toward the sunset. "Only 8 months and 1 week left until the UA exam. This isn't enough. I need to get stronger."

Hey everyone I know I said that this chapter was going to be longer to make but you see I got started and then i just couldn't stop. So this chapter had some interesting characters introduced. And they won't be the only ones. I did say I have big plans for this story didn't I. Anyway, the next chapter will have one of The Order in it so look forward to that.
