Summary: YJ S1 Ep 26. S1 Finale

As they walked to the monitor room to be debriefed by Batman, Kaldur addressed the team.
"We have reason to feel proud of our recent victories, but one thing remains constant."
"Somehow the bad guys are still getting inside info on us."
"Yeah, but at least we know none of us are the mole!" The team made their way into the monitor room, where Batman and Red Tornado were waiting.
"That's correct. The mole was Red Arrow." What?! No! No way in hell Roy was the mole!
"Roy?!"
"Batman, that cannot be! He was Green Arrow's protege, we have known him for years!"
"Unfortunately, the Roy we have known for nearly 4 years was another Cadmus clone. He was created and took the place of the original Roy Harper soon after he initially became Speedy. From what I have gathered, he was pre-programmed to infiltrate the League, which is why he was so angry over any delays, and declined the invite to join the team. His programming drove him to be League-worthy, and once he had achieved his initial goal, a secondary line of programming was initialized. Red Arrow attempted to mind-control the members of the League for Vandal Savage using the nanochips your team confiscated from Luthor and his allies. Fortunately, I had already deduced he was a traitor, and stopped him from achieving his goal." A clone?! Wh-wha-how? So the guy I met almost 4 years ago in Star City, one of my closest friends, was a sleeper agent? Connor looked down.
"If you guys hadn't rescued me from Cadmus..."
"Wh-what happened to the real Roy?"
"I have already searched Cadmus for him, but found no trace. We have to assume that the original Roy Harper...is dead." N-no! He-he can't...The entire team looked down in sorrow at this, especially Wally, Kaldur, and Dick. Robin had tears brimming in his eyes, but refused to let them drop. Not here. Not in front of his team. Zatanna placed a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him, and whilst Dick appreciated her efforts, it did little to help him right now. One of his closest friends, who had been revealed to be a pre-programmed agent for his enemies, was also revealed to have replaced the original in life. Dick looked up to Bruce, usually a source of comfort in these times, but to his shock, he found nothing. No emotion whatsoever. While most would have seen this as the norm for the Dark Knight, Dick knew better. What's wrong with-Batman turned to Red Tornado before walking to the Zeta tubes. "The League will search for him. The team is not to engage. Tornado, stay with the kids." Kids? He never...something's up. Kaldur stepped up, addressing the team in the mind-link.
-Clone or not, Red Arrow was one of us. We will- He was cut off when RT shut down behind him, holding one of the nanochips. Huh?
-What's wrong with him?- Dick immediately got to work analyzing the robot.
-Completely shut down. No systems online. Also, what's he holding?-
-One of the nanochips from Cheshire? But why would he...-
-Something is not right-
-Guys, I'm sensing a low level mystic force on Tornado. Now that I think about it, I was getting the same buzz off Batman- Zatanna turned to Robin when mentioning his mentor. Okay, something's DEFINITELY off.
-Batman...he called us 'kids'. He never does that!-
-We need to get to the bottom of this. Robin, Kid, Zatanna, Rocket. Repair Red Tornado and bring him back online. The rest of you with me to find Ro-Red Arrow- The team split up as Dick got to work.
"The problem's hardware, not software. I can't bring him back online in this shell. Whatever happened, he's short-circuited. So where do we start?" Zatanna walked forward, staring at a hatch in the roof of the cave.
"I have a thought." She led the others to Tornado's secret 'apartment', where they found the body of John Smith RT was building. Huh. That's weird. So...RT was building himself a new body? As his alter ego? They brought some equipment down to the monitor room, and Dick worked on transferring RT's consciousness to the new body while the others watched. Alright, looks like Johnny here is pretty much all set up. Just gotta transfer the files to his CPU, and we should be good. Just as Dick was finishing the upload, the Zeta tubes announced Black Canary's arrival.
"Hey guys, I just wanted to check in and see how you're all-WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO RED?!" Oh. I guess this does look kinda suspicious.
"I-it's not what it looks like!"
"It looks like you're trying to download his consciousness into another body."
"Oh. Well then it's exactly what it looks like." All of a sudden Tornado, in the new John Smith body, sat up and yelled.
"Team, evacuate the cave, now!" Wh-what? What the hell is going on?! Canary let out a sonic scream, disorienting Zatanna and Rocket and sending Smith flying into Wally. Dick, luckily, ducked under the table when she did so, and he leapt at her, throwing a punch that Canary grabbed and sent him flying. Dick smirked when he got back to his feet, and Canary noticed the tear gas grenade attached to her shoulder. Rocket trapped her with the gas in a bubble, knocking her out. Everyone got up, and Zatanna tied Canary up with magic on Tornado's request.
"Black Canary...attacked us?"
"Black Canary is the least of our problems. We MUST abandon the cave!" Everyone questioned it, but Tornado insisted, and so they loaded Canary onto the Supercycle and took off just before Shazam, Dr. Fate, and Icon arrived. "Keep your communications to a minimum. We cannot allow the League to track us. Use the Supercycle to track Superboy and rendezvous with the rest of the team." Dick did as he was told, and Wally looked confused as hell.
"G-got it. Just one question. WHY IS THE JUSTICE LEAGUE AFTER US?!"
"The entire League is under the complete mental domination of Vandal Savage. Red Arrow seems to have been his means of achieving this. The nanochips confiscated from Cheshire are advanced alien life merged with techno-sorcery. They managed to overtake everyone in the League."
"This stuff took down a Kryptonian, Amazonian, Lanterns, android, even Dr. Fate?!" Zatanna tensed up at the mention of Nabu, but did her best to hide her worry. Not the time. Not right now.
"Indeed. Even my non-organic mind was not immune. Fortunately, before the device could take effect, I had written a program to disconnect my power cells in the event of my body attempting to corrupt another person. The Starro-tech, as Savage referred to it, is body-specific. As John Smith I am free from its effects." Explains the short-circuit. Zatanna looked to Smith.
"H-how do we stop it?"
"I believe you confiscated the Starro-tech device that I attempted to use on Aqualad. We must use that, in conjecture with our more scientifically and mystically focused allies, to create an antivirus." The Supercycle at this point uncovered the Bio-ship, and M'gann reached out to the others, letting Dick's group board the ship.
The two teams compared notes and made their way to Atlantis, where Kaldur enlisted the help of Queen Mera's mystics. Roy also reached out to Dr. Roquette, the nano-engineer the team saved from the League of Assassins, asking for her help. Wally reached out to Cisco, Dr. Harry Wells, and the others at STAR Labs, and Dick even contacted Lucious for assistance. Together, the scientists and sorcerers managed to create the antivirus and distributed it to everyone who was affected after testing its authenticity on Canary. Great. Got the cure, now for the hard part. How the hell are we supposed to take down the League?! Artemis walked up to Dick while everyone else was preparing, wondering the same thing.
"Hey, remember that Project Night-thing that you showed me."
"Project Knightmare?"
"Yeah. You think we could use that right now?"
"S-sorry, I already tried. Most of the contingency plans on it involve special equipment, like Kryptonite or Yellow Lantern rings, and that's all held in a special vault in the Batcave. Only person with access is Bats, and I can't hack into it."
"Damn. That woulda made our job a whole lot easier." Tell me about it. Artemis went back to prep while Dick thought to himself. We should be able to brute-force our way through most of them, but we gotta be stealthy. In a head-on fight, we don't stand a chance. Robin noticed Zatanna sitting on a bench in the ship, and he went over to talk to her. Man, she's probably worried sick about her dad. Already lost him to Fate, now to Savage as well. Dick sat next to Zee, gently taking hold of her hand.
"Y-you okay?"
"Yeah. Just worried."
"I-I know what that's like. Trust me, we'll get your dad back. And then...who knows? Maybe one day we could get Nabu to take the helmet off. Then you could get him back for real." Zatanna smiled softly, but she felt in her heart that Nabu would never release her father. Dick was right. I have to move on. I can't be stuck on this forever. Robin stood up as he was contacted by Alfred and he walked over to a corner to talk without eavesdroppers.
"H-hey Al."
"Master Dick, thank the lord. I have been trying to get in contact with you all day!"
"Yeah, sorry. Things are kinda...crazy right now."
"I know. Master Lucious alerted me to Master Bruce's...predicament. You MUST get him back, sir."
"Y-yeah. I'm workin' on that. We're just about to head off."
"Be safe, Master Dick. Remember what he taught you."
"I will. Thanks, Al. I'll be back later tonight, WITH Bruce. Promise." Dick hung up, determined as ever to get his father back, and he went up to the head of the ship to find everyone seated in. he took his own seat and the team took off to the Watchtower.
"Uh, Megs, you sure this thing can go into space?"
"Yeah! Bio-ship is what I used to get to Earth from Mars in the first place. Trust me, we're good."
"Good. Now, is everyone clear on the plan? We must be covert. A head-on assault against the League will surely end in our failure, especially with the fresh wave of new members they inducted yesterday. Stealth is key. And do not focus on defeating your opponents. We only need to attach the antivirus to their bodies and let it take hold. A brawl is neither necessary nor in our best intentions." The team all nodded at their leader's words as the Bio-ship attached itself to the Watchtower's underside, prying its way in and letting the team board without any alerts going off. Dick pulled up his holo-map as everyone huddled around him. He shut off the security systems and turned to Kal.
-I've disabled security. We just gotta wait for BC's signal-
-Indeed. Do you have everyone's positions?-
-Yep. All Leaguers and team members are on-board-
-I've added Robin's map to the mind-link, for ease of use-
-Good work- Dick got the Zeta tube alert that told him that Roy, Dinah, and RT were in position, and he turned to the leader once more.
-They're here-
-Move out- The team split up, following the map in their heads and sticking with partners. They quickly snuck up on and cured the newer recruits. Savage and Klarion noticed this, and realized their plan was under attack. They opened a Boom tube to bring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter into the fight. The incoming heroes made quick work of Canary, Roy, and RT. Savage also summoned Dr. Fate, Icon, and Captain Marvel back to the Watchtower. The team reorganized themselves, and Dick, along with Connor, made a beeline to the Watchtower's main hall to help against the new swarm of mind-controlled Leaguers.
-Could really use backup here-
-Sorry, me and Arty are kinda busy-
-We will send backup once we have dealt with these three- M'gann silently placed a chip on Nabu, immediately taking down the biggest threat. Icon blasted her, but Raquel flew in, holding him at bay while Kaldur placed a chip on him. Shazam charged up with energy, but Zatanna was ready. I really hope this works!
"Trulb tuo Mazahs!" Billy yelled the magic word, transforming back into his normal self, and Zatanna placed a chip on him before helping him up.
"Th-thanks."
-Alright. You three, head to the main hall to assist Robin and Superboy. I will meet Kid and Artemis in the hanger bay- Zatanna saw the unconscious Nabu, and turned to M'gann and Raquel. Might be my only chance.
"I-I'll be right behind you. Just gotta do one thing." The others ran off while she walked up to Fate, attempting to rip the helmet off. It zapped her, and she growled before casting a spell on it. The helm simply redirected the spell, shocking Zee and sending her flying back a bit. Billy ran up to her, helping her up.
"Y-you okay?" Zatanna let a few tears fall before regaining her composure.
"I can save fate from Savage, but I still can't save my father from Fate." This isn't the time. Get your head in the game, Robin needs help! "Billy, uh, can you transform?"
"Sorry, I think Cap's outta juice or something. I can't morph back into him until he gets powered back up." Zatanna nodded.
"Okay, then just...follow me, but be safe!" The two ran off to assist the group in the main hall, meeting up with Wally's team on the way there.
In the main hall, Dick flipped away from Hawkgirl's mace before Wolf jumped at her, knocking her down and letting him place a chip on her. Diana threw her lasso at him, but before it could connect, Raquel placed a bubble over him. -Thanks. Now do it to her!- Rocket trapped Diana in a bubble as Dick noticed John Steward knocked out from Sphere, and ran over to place a chip on him. -Can she escape your force bubble?-
-Not if she keeps punching it! The kinetic energy only makes it stronger. But I'm stuck here. Anything I do risks freeing her!- Damn. That could be a problem. The ground shook as they saw Superman send Connor flying, and M'gann ran up to her uncle before transforming into her White Martian form to overpower his mind, placing a chip on him. Superman noticed this, and blasted Megan with heat vision, knocking her down. Connor growled before lunging at him, but Clark punched him with even more force, sending him flying before flying over to continue his assault on Superboy. Dick ran up to help Megan up.
-You good?-
-Y-yeah. Just kinda hurt for a second. We have to help him!-
-We will, but you need to do that mind-blast thing on Wonder Woman-
-Wh-what?-
-Meg, I can't hold her in forever! Knock her out!-
-R-right- M'gann prepared to force her way into Diana's mind to shut her down, but as she got ready, Dick noticed Batman run up. Crap!
-Look out!- Dick flipped over Raquel's shoulders to attempt to kick him, but Bruce caught the kick and sent Dick flying. He got back up to his feet, locking glares with Batman, who cracked his knuckles. Dick tensed up before hurling a handful of smoke bombs at him, but Bats just disappeared into the mist before Robin could land his spin kick. Huh? Where'd he- Bruce's armored fist collided with Dick's head as he was sent flying to the side before catching himself and preparing to face the Bat. M'gann and Raquel looked on in fear for Dick, but Raquel reminded Megs to take Diana out first. Miss Martian brain-blasted Diana, and Wally, Zee, and the others arrived right on cue. Wally sped over to place a chip on Wonder Woman, and the entire group turned their attention to the fight between Batman, Superman, and their proteges. Zatanna's eyes went wide as she saw Dick face off against Bruce. Oh god, PLEASE be okay!
Dick and Connor were backed up into a corner as the World's Finest approached them. Dick knew he was heavily outmatched against Bruce, but he also knew he had to try. Just gotta stick this thing on him, and he's down. The team tried to run in for backup, but Klarion put up a mystic field around the fight. "Ah, ah, ah! It's not nice to interrupt cage matches!" Savage grinned before demanding Batman and Superman to kill Robin and Superboy. Connor growled as he and Clark got into a massive brawl, and Dick hurled a handful of birdarangs at Bruce, who simply dodged and lunged at him. Robin flipped over Batman, pulling his staff out and spinning it towards Bruce. Batman caught the staff with his gauntlets' wrist blades and snapped it in half. Oh, c'mon that was my favorite staff! Bruce hurled a punch at Dick, sending him flying back before he caught himself and kicked back up, jumping onto Bruce's shoulders and pulling a chip out. Before he could plant the chip, Bruce grabbed his hand and flung him away. Crap! Dick flipped away, with Batman following him on the way down. Bruce sent a punch to Dick, who dodged it but got caught by a follow-up. Robin landed on his hands, flipping back to his feet before pulling out his escrima sticks. He attacked Bruce with them, managing to get one good hit in. Dick spun around to flip-kick him, but Bruce caught the kick, hurling him away. Dick landed on his feet before looking around for him. Bat-fighting 101, if he's not in front of you...he's right behind you. Dick turned around just in time for Bruce's armored fist to connect with his face. He fell to a lower level before landing on his feet, and looked to his side to see Connor struggling to get up as well. This isn't working!
"We're not gonna beat them one-on-one!" The two looked up to see the World's Finest floating down to them.
"Plan B then!" Connor grabbed Dick's arm, spinning around before flinging him to Bats. Dick landed a strong kick on Bruce's ribs, slamming him into a wall and attaching a chip onto him in mid-air. He landed on his feet, looking over to see Connor bear-hug Clark. "H-hurry up!" Dick searched Bruce's utility belt for the lead-lined box. C'mon, where is it?! Here! He grabbed the small case and ran up to the Kryptonians.
"You sure about this?"
"J-just do i-it!" Okay, you asked for it. S'gonna look like I'm proposing to you, but s'not gonna feel like it! Dick clicked the case open before directing the Kryptonite towards the two. Clark almost instantly fell to his knees, out cold from the close exposure. Connor's human half helped him resist the radiation, but he was pretty weak himself. Dick placed the chip on Clark before snapping the box closed and putting it in his own belt. He turned to COnnor and helped him up. "Man, Kryptonite...hurts."
"Which is why Batman keeps it in an overwhelmingly impenetrable vault in the Batcave!" Dick looked over to his mentor, still out cold. "Well, more like a whelmingly penetrable vault." Wait, that came out wrong. Robin ran up to Bruce to check on his status. Hope I didn't hit him too hard! Oh who am I kidding, I am SO rubbing this in his face tomorrow. Who needs training now?!...Probably still me since he threw me round like a ragdoll. Dick noticed Klarion and Savage teleport away, and the mystic field around the group dropped, allowing the team and Billy to rush in.
"Well done! You both must be commended on your strategy!" Kaldur smiled as M'gann ran up to check on Connor, and Zatanna did the same with Dick, noticing him hold his side a bit..
"Oh my god, are you okay?"
"Y-yeah. I'm good, trust me!" Both of them blushed as Zee engulfed Dick in a hug before quickly breaking away out of embarrassment. The entire team and Billy ran up to the monitor room to meet with Canary, Roy, and Tornado.
"Well, I must say, guys, I'm impressed. You managed to stop your mentors and save quite possibly all of Earth."
"Indeed. The world owes your team a great debt." Everyone smiled before the Watchtower's holo-computer came up, showing a clock with the time and playing a small tune.
"Happy New Year, Justice League." Wally smiled before picking up Artemis bridal style.
"I shoulda done this a long time ago."
"No kidding." Dick smirked as they started to make out, almost wanting to yell for them to get a room. Nah. Let's not ruin the moment. It's about time, though! Connor and M'gann embraced, and Raquel even gave Kaldur a small peck on the lips. Zatanna watched on and saw her teammates all make out. It gave her the courage to do something she herself had wanted to do for a long time. Well, if I'm ever gonna do this, now's the time! Dick smiled semi-bitterly as he saw his teammates enjoy themselves. Geez, odd man out, anyone! If only Zee wanted to- Dick was cut off by the magician in question grabbing him by the arm and pulling him over to her, smashing their lips together. His eyes widened and he let out a noise of shock before kissing back, wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her closer to him. Dick ignored the pain in his side as he and Zatanna continued their kiss, with Canary and Roy smirking at everyone's actions. They eventually broke apart for air, both red in the face, and Zatanna sheepishly looked to Dick.
"I-I'm sorry. Was that...too presumptuous?" Dick stared at her, half-shocked and half-overjoyed. D-did that r-really just happen?
"Sumptuous, actually." Zatanna smiled brightly at him before they leaned in to continue, only for the door to open and the League to walk in. They quickly broke apart before Bruce could see them, neither really wanting to know the consequences of Batman catching his son making out with a teammate. The whole team looked to the League, and Bruce was the first to speak.
"I think it goes without saying that what you have done here is not only wildly impressive, but also very noble. You stepped up to take on your own mentors for the fate of the world, and we cannot stress how proud and honored we are to have you as our partners. Happy New Year, team." Everyone smiled as Batman spoke, and Superman sheepishly walked up to Connor.
"Uh, S-Superboy. C-Can we talk?" Connor looked shocked before letting a small smile grace his face. He walked away with Clark and M'gann ran up to embrace her uncle. Wally sped over to Barry, who thanked and congratulated him on the success, and Artemis went over to Ollie, who shared a similar satisfaction with her. Kaldur saluted his king, who brought him in for a hug, thanking him, and Raquel did the same with her own mentor. Zatanna stood around somewhat sadly, as her mentor was unable to share a warm moment with her. From the helm of Fate, Giovanni Zatara felt a pang of guilt for not being able to do so, but he smiled as Batman took his place, walking up to Zatanna. He also noticed Zee holding Dick's hand, but chose not to fume about it. She has earned this. And he is a good boy. This is for the best. But if he hurts her, I will personally drag him down to- Bruce greeted both his own son and Zatanna.
"Your father would be very proud of what you've accomplished here today, Zatanna. I'm only sorry he's not able to tell you himself." Zatanna smiled as Bruce placed a hand on her shoulder. He then turned to Dick, and Zee took in as her cue to leave, winking at Dick, who blushed and rubbed the back of his head as she walked off. Man, she's amazing. Bruce noticed this and smirked, though he decided he would talk about this later. For now, there were other matters to deal with. "I, uh, I'm sorry for the fight."
"S'all good. Seriously. What are partners for, right? Besides, I did kinda beat you, so I think we all know who the better fighter is now." Batman returned a smirk at that.
"Well, in that case why don't we go a few more rounds?"
"Oh, I would, but I don't wanna hurt ya or anything, y'know?"
"Heh, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Now, there's one last thing we have to do before we can go home." Dick thought about asking Bruce if he could stay overnight so he could be with Zee, but he also wanted to spend the night with him and Al at the Manor to make sure they were all good. Before he could make up his mind, Bruce nodded to Ollie, and the three of them, along with Dinah, Roy, Wally, Barry, Kaldur, and Aquaman all walked into the meeting hall. "Now, about the...Cadmus situation." Everyone looked to Red Arrow
"All my life, I thought I was destined for greatness. But it was all a lie. I'm not a hero, or a sidekick."
"Roy, it'll be al-"
"I'm not Roy." Dinah retracted her hand from his shoulder, shocked by his bluntness and the complete hopelessness in his voice. "I...I don't know what I am." You're our friend. Clone or not! C'mon, stay with us! "All I know is that I need to find the real Roy Harper. I need to rescue Speedy." Ollie looked down in disgrace at the mention of his original son's name. Dick, Kaldur, and Wally looked to each other before turning back to him.
"Roy, stay with us."
"Yeah, man. We're your friends."
"Indeed. Clone or no clone, you are one of our closest allies. We would hate to see you go."
"I...I'm sorry. I can't. I HAVE to do this. I need to find him." Roy walked out of the hall, Ollie and Dinah chasing after him before he told them not to bother. Batman looked on in thought. He felt horrible for one of his closest friends, and he had no clue what he would do if it were Dick in this situation. But there were other matters to attend to.
"There is something else. I've already analyzed the data, and we were under Savage's control for a total of 24 hours. Most of that time is accounted for, except for these 6 Leaguers." Batman pulled up pictures of himself, Superman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter. "We went missing for a total 16 hours that we can't account for."
"16 hours? What did you guys do?"
"I...I don't know. But that's a matter for another time. Everyone, go home, enjoy yourselves. You've all earned it." He then gestured to Dick, and the Dynamic Duo left for the Zeta tubes. Dick looked around for Zee, hoping to find her outside, but Tornado told him that she and the others had already Zeta'd home. Dick looked down, somewhat disappointed. Wally ran up to him.
"Hey, man. Don't worry about Zee. I'm sure she's just tired. You two can make out more tomorrow!" Dick smirked and blushed before elbowing Wally.
"Yeah, same for you and Arty." Wally blushed in return and was about to retort when Bruce called for Dick. Robin turned back to KF. "See ya, man."
"Yeah, bye bro." Batman and Robin Zeta'd to the cave, where they were met with Alfred.
"Oh, Master Bruce, thank the lord! A-are you alright?"
"I'm alright, Al. Just need a day or two to get back to peak performance."
"Thank lord. A-and what of you, Master Dick?"
"He's hurt his ribs. Go check on him." Dick glared at a smirking Bruce as Alfred dragged him over to the medical station and got to work on his sore body.
"Well Master Dick, I must say, you and your allies have secured quite the victory today. It is not every day that one defeats the almighty Justice League. And if I may add, you look rather love-struck. Has Miss Zatanna anything to do with your condition? It was New Year's earlier today."
"Wh-what?!" How the hell did he- "N-no! Nothing like that!" Okay, yeah, it's all her. Sue me.
Sorry if it was kind of a sudden ending. This chapter was really fun to write, but I didn't really know how to close it off. But Season 1 of YJ is now done. It went by shockingly fast, even if I skipped a few episodes. Next chapter will be a Batman/Robin chapter, and after that a very significant Chalant chapter. From there, I'm basically gonna stuff this book with as much fluff and chapter suggestions as possible, slowly working through the Chapter 1 timeline. So we will reach Nightwing/Jason Todd/other future stuff like the Titans eventually, but of course until then it'll be fluff galore and a ton of other stories that take place in the time frame before Nightwing (the chapter 1 timeline explains the major events during any given time period in relative detail, so any stories that fit in with that timeline are fair grounds to be written). Feel free to review and leave comments or suggestions. Suggestions can take place at any point in the timeline, but I'll focus on writing chapters that take place in time points we have already covered. So basically, right now I will be willing to write any suggestions that take place up till this point (so young Dick stuff, stuff with the team, Dick/Zee when they're not dating, soon Dick/Zee when they ARE dating and Dick is Robin etc.), since that's where we are on the timeline right now. Anything set after this point I'll wait to write until we reach that point, but I will write it eventually. You can still leave suggestions from any point in the timeline and I will record it in my list of chapter ideas, it's just that some of them I may have to delay for a while until we get to that point naturally. Sorry if it takes a while till we reach Nightwing, but I'll try to make the journey there interesting. This book isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so rest assured we WILL reach that point eventually. I could easily stuff this thing with like 300+ chapters and just scratch the surface (and considering how much fun this stuff is to write, I may very well do that).
