Summary: Chalant+Spitfire double date. Takes place about 5 months after Auld Acquaintance, and a week after the last chapter

It had been almost a week since the whole Deathstroke face-off, and most of the team was basically fully healed. Wally, Dick, Zatanna, and Artemis had decided to try a double date, since they were each other's respective best friends and thought it was overdue. The two couples met each other at the Zeta tubes and continued from there. Since Artemis was unaware of Dick's identity, he had to keep his shades on and they couldn't go anywhere too extravagant, so they just opted to go to a nearby skating rink. Not the most original, but hey, it IS a classic for a reason.

Dick and Zee put on their skating boots with ease while Wally helped Arty put hers on. Dick had never been skating before, but he looked on to the ice and smirked. How hard could it be? The moment they stepped on to the ice, Dick regretted his cockiness. He slipped and very nearly fell face first on the floor, moving over in the nick of time to land on his back. Zatanna, who was not having nearly as much trouble, burst out laughing. Dick semi-glared at her.

"Zee, c'mon! Help me here!"

"S-so you're telling me the Boy Wonder, world's greatest acrobat and protege of the Batman, c-can't keep his b-balance on ice?" Zatanna was hysterical as Dick tried to get up but once again fell down. She finally composed herself after Dick's fourth failed attempt to stand and helped her boyfriend up to his feet.

"Okay, I didn't expect it to be this slippery. N-now...how do I move?" Zatanna was beyond amused, but she decided to help teach Dick. He very quickly got a grasp on it, though he had to keep his grasp on Zee in order to not fall over. Hey, 's a win for me. The two started to move faster, with Dick getting more and more comfortable as each second passed, though they did not break their hold on one another, mostly out of comfort. They glanced over at the others to see Wally try to show off to Arty by speeding up, but slamming face first into a wall as he did not know how to turn quick enough. They both burst out laughing once more, and Dick very nearly toppled over from laughter. Artemis, who was laughing even more than they were, helped a disgruntled and very red-faced Wally up to his feet before he sheepishly laughed and followed Arty meekly around the rink.

About 30 minutes in, Dick had gotten a very good hang on the skates, and he was moving around with incredible style and precision. Heh, helps to be a world-class acrobat, I guess. He spun around Zee with incredible flow before grabbing her arp and spinning her to him. He dipped her jokingly before bringing her back up to his level. Zee laughed before capturing his lips with her own. People all around them glanced over and even stared at them a bit, but neither of them cared at all. They broke off after about 30 seconds, both breathless, and they giggled a bit as they rubbed their noses together before skating over to Wally and Arty, who appeared to have just wrapped up their own mini moment. The four of them were quite hungry, and so they left the rink and walked to a Big Belly Burger across the street. Oh. So THAT'S why Wally recommended this place. The group ordered their respective lunches, with Wally ordering three all for himself. Only three? Must be dieting today. The meals arrived and Wally immediately went to work with the same table etiquette as Wolf. Arty lectured him about it for a bit, before just giving up and going back to her own meal. Dick snickered as Arty snatched food from Wally freely, with very little protest from the speedster. Wally not arguing about someone stealing his food? Now that's a sign of true love. Dick and Zatanna shared a smoothie while Arty and Wally ordered separate drinks, since there was no way Wally could survive on a shared drink. Limit for everything, I guess. Arty surprisingly didn't question it when Dick covered the whole tab himself, but that was probably since she and Zatanna were very busy with their own conversation that neither of the boys could follow or, frankly, care about. The four walked out after Wally fist-bumped Dick for covering the tab, and they made their way to the Zeta tubes. Zatanna and Dick arrived sooner since Wally and Artemis got held up in a mini-argument, and Zee turned to Dick, staring at him for a little bit wordlessly. Dick got confused and raised an eyebrow.

"Wha-hmph!" Zee smacked her lips onto his, whilst simultaneously taking his glasses off. She deepened the kiss so as to prevent any argument from him. They stayed like this for some time until Wally came around the corner with Arty, both slightly peeved off. Wally saw Dick without his glasses and thought fast, spinning Arty around so she wasn't facing Dick before kissing her to keep her there. Dick and Zee broke off smiling when they saw the others, and Zee quickly put his glasses back on. Arty broke off from the kiss, grinning at Wally.

"That's one way to make up."

The group Zeta'd back to the cave and spent the rest of the night just watching movies together. Batman watched from the Batcave and even let Dick stay over for the night with his friends, not calling him for patrol. Towards the end of the night, Arty and Wally had fallen asleep on the couch together, and Dick looked to his girlfriend, who herself was drowsy. "So, good kidnapping."

"Yeah. Not quite your best, but it's up there."

"Guess I gotta try harder next time." Zee grinned a bit before they moved in for one final kiss for the night.
