Vados turned to look at Goku, he seemed so relaxed lying next to her with strange calmness. Goku could feel her beautiful gaze on him, with a strange hint of concern. Why would she be concerned? He thought
" Is something wrong? " Goku asked turning on his side to look into her eyes, Vados got on her side as well and looked him straight in the eyes.
" Nothing's wrong, but you seem a little different somehow ", Goku looked a little confused, but noted she was right. He does feel weird, unlike past times whenever he was in ultra instincts he always felt calmer. But now he just felt secure, like there is always a protection around him.
He was no longer feeling fear towards anything, he felt a sense of freedom only a baby could feel. And it was so natural, he didn't even think of it till now.
" I do feel calmer, my mind isn't jumbled. My thoughts aren't all over the place, I feel like I could close off my mind to all things and then again open it to everything in the universe ", Vados listened but could not believe this was the same Goku as of the past month.
She knew he would get stronger, strong enough to beat any foe that stands in his way. But she didn't expect him to be so free. What kind of ritual did he go through?.
" Do you like how you feel? " Vados asked, Goku smiled and caressed her cheek with his hand " I like how you make me feel, nothing else matters to me than you ", Vados blushed at Goku's words. He was always charming with his words.
" Me too ", Goku kissed Vados and she responded with a kiss from her heart, her heart which was beating once again because of him. Because he was awake and beside her to love her, Vados didn't ask much than to be loved by the man she loves.
The divine couple kissed, lip against lip, Vados flipped over and pinned Goku down. Hovering above him, with a smile that can drive any man wild. Brought her head down and claimed Goku's lips.
They made love for the next few hours that followed, till they both fell asleep in each other's arms...
After their back to back love making, they finally fell asleep and woke up later at midnight.Although Goku had woken Vados up, she could see the embarrassment on his face as he said he was hungry. And was quickly apologising for having to wake her up.
Vados had smiled and told him it was no bother, he had not eating for a month after all.Vados entered the huge kitchen of the palace, made her way around. Opening each cupboard without touching them, with telekinetic powers. Vados brought ingredients from each cupboards, as she was preparing to set them down.
" Need help? ", Vados was startled and released her telekinetic hold on the ingredients, but fortunately her man was swift and Goku caught and placed each ingredient to the predetermined location he had seen Vados directing them too.
" Thanks...can you help with the onions? " Vados asked in regards to him wanting to help, but her mind suddenly wandered to how she was unable to detect his presence until he had spoken. Weird, she had no idea when he woke up and normally she should know.
" Sure " Goku said with a smile, happy to help anyway he can. After seeing what she went through while he was in his deadly sleep, all he wants is to help her out.She did so much and asked for nothing. Chichi did things for him, but it's just not the same. At the very least, not where the heart is concerned.
Goku moved toward the sink, grabbed the side of the onion bowl and turned on the water to allow the tap to release it into the bowl. And he began to wash the onions, after a little while, Goku turned off the tap and emptied the bowl water into the sink.
Goku passed the washed onion bowl to Vados, and she took hold of it and laid it to one side of her. Vados began to turn on the fire of each modern cooker, " Need anything else? " Goku asked seeing she was getting ready to start cooking.
Vados eyed Goku weirdly ' does he really want to help out? ' Vados smiled, " How good are you with cutting onions? " Vados asked...Goku wondered how good he was, but thinking to the way they do it on cooking shows, perhaps he can do it like those chefs.
" I'm quite good ", Vados was surprised and smiled briefly shaking her head, " What? I'm not lying " Goku said trying to clear her doubts.
" Never said you were... Okay, cut them. I guess I'll be trusting you with the onions " Vados said with a chuckle,and Goku licked his lips.
Prepared to do even better than chefs, Goku laid down first the large chopping board and picked up the onions. But instead of laying them on the board, he began throwing them into the air at a speed which seemed as if time was slowing down in sequence. Goku pulled out a knife and held it's shaft, he stepped back, his eyes, thoughts, body accelerated and his mind was flooded with onion cutting skills of veteran chefs...
Goku chopped and chopped the onions in mid air, then he guided them back down unto the board in a manner that would make it seem like he had chopped them on it. By the moment he was done, Vados had hardly done anything and just stared in surprise at not only the speed but the skills too.
" Were you always this good with the onions?, you didn't look like you even knew your way around a kitchen " Vados said visibly amazed by this side of Goku, Goku rubbed his nape " Actually, I don't. But I occasionally watch some cooking shows, when not training of course. Behind everyone's back, you're the first person to find out " Goku said with a smile.
Vados blushed to be let in, on his secret. It made her feel like Goku was starting to open up to her, " I also do have a confession then... " Vados said working some cooking oil into a pan, taking the chopping board. Vados swat the chopped onions down into the pan, took a spoon and stirred it around without letting any get over done.
Goku watched with interest while waiting for her to start confessing, Vados held another chopping board, but this one had chopped beef and she swat it down also into the frying pan. Setting the board down, she began to stir with a veteran skill.
" Until two years ago, I couldn't really cook ", Goku looked at Vados in disbelief " you're kidding? " He said and she smiled as she kept working from one cooker to another.
" Nope, I was a lousy cook. I usually burn food, I was mostly good at preparing vegetables " Vados confessed and Goku could only think ' wow '.
" That was unexpected, I thought you were good with everything by default " Goku said, " can you help with the rice?It's unwashed " Vados said pointing her finger to a counter behind her with a large bowl.
" Yeah ".
Goku made his way to the counter, brought the bowl of rice to the sink and released water into it. Then he made his way back, and began to wash the rice. Before he rinsed it off.
" I guess we have that in common ", Goku returned and placed the bowl down next to her. " I guess we do " Vados said happy they have that to share.
" So I'm wondering, other than train me and work around the palace. Do you do anything fun? " Goku asked, indeed curious as to what she did for fun other than being an attendant.
" I do like searching for rare animals here and there, but sight seeing is the best fun for me. You? ", Vados poured the washed rice into a pot she had placed on one of the cookers, with water already a lukewarm boil. Vados cast the lid upon it and moved around to sort out other cookings.
" Is it a coincidence you just happen to like the same things I do? " Goku asked and Vados eyed him curiously and with a little doubt of what he was implying. " You like searching for rare animals and sight seeing? " Vados asked to confirm.
" Sure nobody really knows, I do this things without having anyone suspect it to be a hobby. I'm not just a no brain martial artist " Goku said and grinned.
" Weird, had no idea you liked the same things I do " Vados said returning her gaze to the different ingredients, and she began to empty each one in different pots and pans. But she was secretly stoked at the thought, it was exciting to know they shared this things and are not just some sexually depraved individuals whom like to devour each other.
Goku shared the same thoughts as her, he found it comforting. She derived joy and relief from the same things he does.
" Maybe we can do it together ", Vados smiled and kept her emotions in check " Yeah, that would be nice " Vados said in a low tone, afraid if she spoke any louder she might do something irrational.
Goku walked up behind her and encircled his arms around her waist, Vados gasped a little startled. But she relaxed into the warmth and comfort of his arms, she's never felt so safe and secure in her entire life, as she felt at that very moment. But yet also afraid that at any given moment, she might lose him.
Goku leaned his head close to her neck and released a involuntary hot and humid breath unto her neck, and she moaned softly at the touch of air against the sensitivity of her neck...
" Don't worry Vados, you won't lose me ", Vados felt uncertain about that, " how can you be so sure, we only have a month and three more weeks before you return home " Vados reminded him.
" We'll figure something out, but I'm not letting you go, unless you decide you no longer want nothing to do with me " Goku said with a sultry voice.
" Never, you're mine "...
Vados searched for Goku's mouth and once she found it, their lips met in a soft and feathery touch, the scene seemed to be fashioned with rainbows and sparkling waterfalls...Goku would very much love to continue with their kissing, but they were still cooking.
Goku let go and took multiple steps back, vados turned around to look at Goku, confused as to why he had stopped.
" Is something wrong... " Vados held a hand to her chest, " You don't want to kiss me? " Vados asked
Goku chuckled at her ridiculous thought, not want to kiss her? A very unrealistic dream.
" Nothing's wrong, and I definitely want to kiss you till my breath is out. But, we are still cooking and we don't want to have to burn everything, now do we? " Goku explained with a smile.
Vados pouted at his reasoning, but he was right. She had to concentrate, she could easily be lost in his kisses, that would be inconsiderate to the meals she was preparing.
" Alright, let's get back to it. My handsome assistant " Vados said, and Goku's smile widen " I can totally assist you in anything and everything ". . .
By the time both lovers were done, the sun was already peaking out through the horizon, it took them a lot of hours to get everything done. But through it all, Goku forgot he was even hungry. Vados's company being more than enough to satisfy him. They talked, they laughed, stole glances and even stole a kiss. It was fun time for the saiyan turned god and the angel.
