Summary: Suggestion from pxaviercm (sorry if I misspelled it). Chalant fluff. Takes place about a month after the team finds out Dick's identity.

Dick and Zee were walking down Happy Harbor on a date. Dick initially thought about bringing her to Gotham, but he decided against it. Not because of the crime or anything, god no. She was a badass sorceress who could shut anyone down with a few words and he could take out most military-trained soldiers with his hands tied behind his back and a blindfold over him. No, the reason he decided against Gotham was because he didn't want the paparazzi or rabid fangirls jumping them and ruining his girlfriend's day. They had been on numerous dates in Gotham, and almost every 8 out of 10 of them featured fangirls of some kind. Zee hated them even more than Dick did, and he could tell she was in a bad mood after every encounter. Unfortunately, his fame wasn't limited to Gotham...

The couple were having a great time, he had gotten them both ice cream and they were laughing as they talked, UNTIL a group of teenage girls not much older than Wally walked up to him. They kept on bugging him for his phone number and asking him out on dates, not paying any attention to the fact that he was holding his girlfriend's hand and she was watching all this unfold. Dick didn't want to just blow them off since he thought that might come off as rude, he REALLY didn't need more negative media on him. Zee growled a bit as the fangirls started to get handsy with him, and she tightened her grip on him and pulled him closer to her. "Sorry, he's taken." Dick smirked a bit as she pecked his cheek, and the others started throwing glares at her. One of them even made a fist, and Dick knew they had to move before things got out of control.

"S-sorry. We've, uh, we've got some stuff to do. Nice meeting you all." Zatanna threw them a somewhat smug look before dragging Dick away from them. Once they were out of earshot, Dick turned to his girlfriend, amusement clear in his facial expressions. "I thought it's my job to be overly possessive." Zee was still somewhat annoyed, so Dick pecked her lips. She smiled a bit, but Dick could tell she was still pissed.

"If I see one more group of fangirls, I don't think I'll be able to control myself." Dick laughed a bit before giving her another kiss.

"Well, now you know how I feel."

"How have you managed to keep your sanity all these years?" Before he could respond, both their phones went off. Dick sighed.

"Mission time, I guess." The pair Zeta'd back to the cave and suited up to meet the team as Batman's briefing began.

The team had been tasked with protecting a kid who was not much older than Dick from Lex Luthor's forces. Apparently, he had stumbled upon some illegal testing, and knowing Luthor, he was in danger. They only had to keep him safe until daybreak, when Bruce Wayne would swoop in with protection for the boy, and his info would go towards testifying against Luthor. Unfortunately, the boy was a gigantic ass. Throughout the whole mission, he was hitting on the girls and getting on everyone's nerves. He started with Raquel, but she flipped him off and walked away almost immediately. Normally, Kaldur would have scolded her for inappropriate behavior, but instead he let the tiniest of smiles cross his face as he saw this play out.

Next, the boy hit on Artemis. Dick snickered a bit as Wally grumbled and threw a nasty glare to the kid, which he completely ignored. He spent almost 45 minutes with Arty, at which point she wanted to pull her hair out. She eventually told him to leave her alone, though with far more vulgar language, and Wally threw him a smug grin as he walked over and kissed her.

The boy didn't skip a beat as he moved on to M'gann, and Kaldur had to physically hold Connor back when the kid kissed her hand. She was too sweet to tell him to leave her alone, and so she just awkwardly tried to keep her distance from him. After nearly an hour of pestering her, she eventually did her best to be gentle as she told him she had a boyfriend, but he paid little mind to that. Dick bit back a smirk as he tried to step up his game, but eventually Connor walked over, shoving past the kid and wrapping an arm around his girlfriend.

Lastly, the boy moved to Zatanna, and the smirk immediately left Dick's face as he scowled. Okay, I'm sorry guys, but can this kid go back to bugging M'gann? Zatanna was uneasy with him hitting on her at first, but she started to ease into it and even jokingly flirted back, though she obviously meant none of it. Dick was doing his best to stay calm, but on the inside, he was absolutely fuming. The kid was getting far more handsy, but Zee was keeping him at distance, though she kept up the fake flirting. Dick let out a growl as he touched her shoulder, and he clenched his fist, using everything in himself to keep from breaking the kid's fingers. Touch her one more time and I swear to god, I will throw a birdarang so far up your-Zee giggled at something the kid said, and that's when Dick lost it. He walked up to the kid and used everything to keep from ripping him limb from limb. The kid paid no attention to him, instead focusing on Zee.

"So, how's about the two of us go out somewhere tomorrow? I know this great restaurant off the corner of-"

"Sorry, she's taken." Before either of them could respond, Dick grabbed Zee's wrist and pulled her away from the boy, smacking his lips onto her. Zee stiffened for a second before returning the gesture, and they paid no attention to the boy as he let out a noise of dejection and walked away. They stayed like this for a while before breaking off. Zee smirked at Dick.

"Now who's being overly possessive?" Dick groaned a bit.

"In my defense, he was way worse than those fangirls."

"Agree to disagree." Dick smirked a little before Kaldur called the whole team over to focus on their mission.
