Dear readers, Some people have requested me to post a more enlightening profile cause they think that it will enable them to understand my stories more if they know some details about myself so here it goes... Darak is just a Filipinized version of "The Rock" and not a Russian or Slovakian name. I'm a Filipino and still proud to be one. Anyway, I chose that name because I like ... no love alternative rock music and the other reason is too long to discuss so I'll just leave it there. I wanted to be a writer when I was still in grade school but somehow (for a reason I cannot fully comprehend), I ended up as an engineer. Heavy stuff, huh? But fortunately, after four long and agonizing years of boring myself to death, I finally summoned enough courage to stop and stood up to my decision to become a -- teacher?...That's weird cause I never wanted to be one before and I never shifted my course. I just dropped out of school to work and help alleviate my family's financial crisis. Is my story getting weird? Well, it gets stranger because before all that happened, I played as a guitarist and vocalist for an alternative rock band and it's really cool. The band only performs REAL music...all originals and not like the highly-diluted and commercialized ones. I really enjoyed being part of it and harbored some thought of pursuing that career but I also quit that in favor of the job. Money is hard to come by if the band has strong principles. Anyway, the story goes and on and if you think I'm weird then go blame the university where I came from. That university is soooo open to all, and I mean all, ideas imaginable that one couldn't help but be influenced by its anarchic state. It's a breeding ground for future crime lords for goodness' sake!..(oops! bad darak! changes the words immediately to 'high governoment officials and extremely successful businessperson' for fear of total annihilation) and noblepersons. Did I just contradict myself? But that's to be expected, I suppose. After all, the school's color is a combination of Gryffindor and Slytherin colors (basically Christmas colors ... imagine that). So there it is ... a weird write-up from a weird (damn proud to be one) author.

Regarding the unfinished stories:

1) Voldie's Downfall - I know the waiting is too long but I'll try to finish this despite the fact that I realized that I don't like the Harry/Hermione pairing at all... but I'll try... :-)

2) When the Nightmare is gone - This will still be a crossover but not with BTVS anymore. I recently watched Dark Angel and I loved the story so this will be an HP/DA crossover now..pairing to be determined but I'm open to suggestions :-)
