This chapter is really really short, I will be writing another one as soon as I can.

Chapter Ten.

Moon's POV

"Hey Gladion, watcha doing?" I asked. It was nightfall, and Lillie was trying to work out how to get into the Ultra Wormhole, still trying to sort out Lunala and Solgaleo.

"Reading," came his response.

"Couldn't've guesses that one."

"Why'd you ask then?"

I shrugged, got out my own book—the genre a fair way away from romance—and lay don on top of Gladion, who was lying on his stomach.

"Oof, Moon, why?" he complained.

"Because it's comfy," I told him plainly. I felt his body shift underneath me, probably so I wasn't crushing him.

"You'd better not be reading Romeo and Juliet again, Gladion," I said after a while, turning over to look at his book. He shook his head. I gave a sigh of laughter. "I love you, Gladion."

"In a romantic way, yet you hate romance," Gladion said, turning back into a human.

"Don't you judge me," I said, still on top of him.

"I'm not judging," he said. "Much."

I hit him half-heartedly with the book in my hands, but Gladion just laughed.

"No one LAUGHS in my presence," I told him, putting on a royal-like accent.

"It's actually hard not to," Gladion said, earning himself another book-slap. "Okay, okay, I'll stop… maybe." He quickly transformed back into a Silvally, neatly dodging another book-attack to the head.

I sighed in defeat. I rolled onto my stomach, still on top of Gladion, and began stroking his mane. Either my weight on his neck brought his head to a laying down position… or he fell asleep under my reassurance.

"Oh, Gladion…"
