Summary: Suggestion from pxaviercm and a guest. Takes place before Dick and Zatanna started dating.

She had always been a natural flirt, sometimes to a fault. Whenever a boy at her school would try to act tough or manly to impress her, she would go with the flow, jokingly acting as if she was impressed by him. They would puff out their chest for her and she would laugh that laugh that made every boy in a 10 mile radius feel butterflies in their stomach. She would then go on to say how strong they must be, how she was lucky they were there or else she doesn't know what would happen, whatever crap came to her mind, and the boy would turn beet red and melt into a pile of hormonal goo. Of course, she never meant any of it. Zatanna got hit on rather often when in public, the downside of looking like a teenage supermodel, and she just learned to accept it and even play along. It usually happened when she was out alone, nobody would dare try to flirt with her when her father was around, but Zee could hold her own rather well. Her overly flirtatious mannerisms did have their downsides as well. A few guys once took her a bit too seriously and tried to pull some moves with her outside a theater, but they ended up tied together by their clothing, the most handsy of them was even turned into a pig for an hour.

Flirting with others was just a part of Zatanna's personality. After her dad was...taken, she was too gloomy to do it for a few weeks, but of course once the Boy Wonder worked his magic on her, she was right back into the swing of things. She had flirted with very nearly every freshman in Happy Harbor High, even a few sophomores who noticed her and tried acting macho for her. Heck, she even flirted with Connor once, she had dropped her books on the floor and he was there to pick them up. Megan was there too, and she was less than traught over seeing Zee seemingly hitting on her boyfriend. Zee had to explain that it was a joke for the Martian to finally drop it and cheer up.

The only person she didn't flirt with was Robin, and she had a good idea as to why. Dick was the one boy she really did like, and she didn't wanna scare him away with her flirting. The only time she really did mess around with him was during their first meet, when they had to go take on the Reds. She told him to be "as chalant as you like", and she actually secretly hoped that he would because that would be a dream come true. He didn't seem to be scared away by that, he even accidentally hit on her during the battle, but she assumed that was just him playing her own game. He couldn't actually mean it...could he?

Unfortunately, flirting was just too natural for Zee, so even if she didn't want to jokingly flirt with Dick, she couldn't help herself from time to time. Especially with how fantastic he looked in that skintight suit to her; Dick wasn't the only teenager who's hormones may have gone through the roof when they were in the same room. The Boy Wonder was truly the only person on Earth who could break her just as much as she could break him.

They were sitting alone in the cave playing video games when Zatanna's nose started to bleed. She had taken a rather hard hit to the face on their previous mission, and Dick, being the overly protective person he was, had chosen to stay with her in the cave whilst the others went on another mission. This decision earned him much teasing from both Wally and Arty, and even a smirk from Bruce, but he denied any intentions they may have thought he had with the young sorceress. In any case, Dick had run off to get a paper for her bleeding nose, and she couldn't help but smile at his eagerness. Once he sat back down and handed her the paper, she started to clean her nose as she smirked.

"Why such a hurry? Am I not pretty enough for you like this?" The moment she said it, Zee felt herself blushing a bit, but she hid it well. Dick, on the other hand, did not. He was turning as red as the boys she would hit on as a joke in school, rubbing the back of his neck and spluttering out random words since he couldn't form a sentence. He truly didn't know how to respond, since he couldn't just say how gorgeous he thought she was for fear of making it awkward between them. Before they could continue, Tornado walked in just to check on them.

"Batman wishes to inform you that he needs you on patrol later today, Robin."

"G-g-got i-it. Patrol. Y-yeah, t-t-t-tell him I-I'll be th-there." Once Tornado left, both teenagers tried to act like it never happened, Zee mentally kicking herself for possibly screwing it up. Dick paid her back a few minutes later when she felt her head start to pound a bit. He saw how cute she looked holding her forehead like that and just couldn't help himself. "You okay? You don't seem too traught."

"Y-yeah. Just hurts a bit." Dick smirked.

"Need me to kiss it to make it better?" Zee blushed and returned a smirk once she realized what he was doing. In reality, she was hoping he wasn't joking and he actually would do that, and he himself wouldn't have minded in the slightest, but neither one brought up these thoughts. Before Zatanna could respond, Wally came running into the kitchen looking for food. He turned back to see both teenagers' cheeks covered in a light pink hue, and he smirked.

"Am I interrupting something?" Dick ignored the heat racing to his face as he glared at him and Zee did her best to hide her growing blush with her hair.
