Chapter Seven: Happy Reunions and U.A.'s Entrance Exam
~A/N~ So here we go. A bit of a time skip and the Demonic children are ready for their entrance exam. Sorry if the chapter jumps around a lot.
Chapter Start!
It had been a long time coming but the Sakamata children were finally going to take their U.A. Entrance Exam. The three of them stood together looking up at U.A.'s massive school.
"Our first step," Hitoshi said with a smile.
"The real race is about to start," Rumi grinned.
"This is going to be so fun," Izumi laughed. The three all turned as they heard an explosion and shout from behind them.
"MI-CHAN!" Izumi's eyes shot wide hearing that voice.
"KACCHAN!" Izumi screamed back.
"No way," Rumi said seeing the boy Izumi spoke of often come flying at her.
"So that's 'Kacchan'," Hitoshi said as the two reached each other and hugged.
"I've missed you," Izumi cried hugging Katsuki with all her might.
"You dummy that's my line," Katsuki replied hugging Izumi back just as tightly.
"You gotta meet my brother and sister," Izumi said happily when they finally broke their hug.
"Who?" Katsuki asked seeing two others walk up. His eyes instantly locked on the demonic boy.
"That's Toshi-nii and she's Rumi-nee," Izumi smiled brightly.
"Nice to meet you finally. Zumi talked about you a lot," Hitoshi said looking over Katsuki. "I'm Sakamata Hitoshi,"
"Sakamata Rumi," Rumi added.
"Sakamata?" Katsuki said slowly. He knew that name. "Gang Orca adopted you!" He nearly screamed.
"Yeah, he and Ryukyu found me beat up in an alley," Izumi answered.
"Beat up," Katsuki said bitterly. "Started right when I left?" Izumi just nodded in response.
"Sorry to break this up. But we need to head inside," Rumi said
"Right Entrance Exam," Katsuki replied. "Just so you all know. I'll be taking that top spot,"
"Over my dead body!" Rumi shouted.
"Inside!" Izumi shouted pushing Rumi and Katsuki.
~Inside~
"Welcome to U.A.'s entrance exam can I get a YEAH!" Present Mic shouted.
"YEAH!" Izumi shouted out
"YEAH!" Rumi quickly followed suit.
"Yeah!" Hitoshi added half-heartedly.
"Now that's what I'm talking about," Mic laughed before quickly falling into his somewhat long-winded explanation that boiled down to beat the crap out of robots.
"Shit," Hitoshi growled. "This just got a lot more difficult for me,"
"Remember what Torchy said. If your quirk won't do. Workaround it," Izumi replied trying to keep quiet.
"He'd kill you if he heard you call him that," Rumi laughed. "Also bro. You have literal claws," She added.
"Right... I forget about them sometimes," Hitoshi replied looking at his claws.
"Excuse me!" The three's attention turned to a blue-haired boy. "You've been talking during the explanation. It's distracting,"
"How the fuck did you hear us over Present Freaking Mic?" Rumi asked her temper flaring.
"Now now calm down. The presentation is nearly done," Mic cut in before the two would-be heroes could get into a screaming match.
~Ground Alpha~
Hitoshi stood just behind everyone else slowly stretching. His mind raced as he planned his path. He'd need to find a weapon right away. He didn't want to rely on his claws for too long. His hands weren't as strong as Izumi's. His attention slowly shifted as he felt eyes on him.
"Got a problem?" Hitoshi asked seeing a woman with vines for hair staring at him.
"I apologize. I didn't realize I was staring," She replied turning away.
"I'm used to it," Hitoshi said stepping past heading towards the front.
"BEGIN!" the voice of Present Mic screamed out.
~Ground Gamma~
Izumi rolled her shoulders and spread her wings. She loved to fly but rarely did thanks to complaints about 'Demons flying about' ruining the fun.
"You're one of the ones that disturbed the presentation," Izumi slowly looked over to the tall blue-haired young man that had shouted at them.
"You disturbed it just as much as we did yelling at us," Izumi retorted.
"I only spoke out when you three started getting loud," Blue shot back.
"Well since nobody else who was closer said anything I feel like you were the only one that seemed to have an issue with it," Izumi snapped back.
"BEGIN!" the voice of Present Mic screamed out.
"Fuck," Izumi growled as she flapped her wings and took off into the air heading for the mock city.
~Ground Beta~
"Me!" Katsuki shouted.
"Not a chance! I'm taking first!" Rumi shouted back. The two kept screaming at each other as the rest of the students backed away from the two boisterous would-be heroes.
"Hold up," Rumi suddenly stopped her ears twitching.
"What?" Katsuki asked trying to hear whatever ruined his fun.
"I heard that you little pervert!" Rumi suddenly screamed as she in one fluid motion turned around, lifted her leg, and slammed it down missing a short boy with purple balls on his head by millimeters.
"AH!" the boy screamed jumping back.
"I ever hear you say a word about touching my butt again I will kick you straight to Pluto," Rumi growled her eyes filled with rage.
"I think I'm in love," Rumi's attention turned to a blonde-haired boy who was looking at her. She barely stopped herself from shouting at him. He hadn't said anything perverted just stupid.
"BEGIN!" the voice of Present Mic screamed out. Rumi shot towards the city like a bullet. Explosions rang out behind her.
"I WON'T LET YOU WIN!" Katsuki shouted.
"EAT MY DUST!" Rumi shouted back as she rounded a corner. Her leg snapped out tearing through a robot before it had a chance to recognize the threat. Two more were busted a moment later. Rumi's smile came through in full force as she dipped into a building. She remembered everything her parents and the Todoroki's had trained her. Her risk was right when she was the building was chock-full of points to be claimed. 'Villains don't just run around streets unless they've been found. They will keep a low profile,' Endeavor's voice echoed through her head as she tore through three-pointer after three-pointer. She didn't care to count points. All that mattered was crushing robots.
~Ground Gamma~
"VENOM WHIP!" Izumi shouted out as radioactive green tendrils of energy erupted from her hands. They moved as if they had minds of their own. Shooting towards every robot in the area grabbing them. As the tendrils grabbed the robots a sizzling was heard. The tendrils were melting through the metal. Despite the name, her tendrils actually worked more like acid. {1}
"Pretty sure that's thirty points," Izumi said as all the robots were melted apart. "Next," she smiled as she flew towards an open window.
~Ground Alpha~
Hitoshi panted as he speared another robot with a broken piece of rebar. "Duck left!" Hitoshi shouted seeing a robot going swinging for a pink girl. Thankfully she listened and rolled left. She followed the dodge up by throwing what looked like water on the robot. The hissing of metal melting told him it was probably acid.
"Thanks, Horn buddy!" the pink girl shouted running off.
"Horn buddy?" Hitoshi said already heading towards his destination. He hadn't seen a single building with an accessible door yes. But one had come into view.
"Help!" A cry caused Hitoshi's path to cut instantly as he ran towards the voice.
"Drop!" Hitoshi cried out as he threw his rebar weapon as hard as he could towards a three-pointer robot towering over someone. The rebar craked over the robot's head making it stall and turn towards him.
"Demonic Rush!" Hitoshi shouted as he lowered his head going for a gore. In hindsight, he knew this was a bad idea. Trying to gore a robot but to his utter surprise not only did it work it tore the robot in half like butter. 'Shit their metal is a lot weaker than I thought,'
"Holy crap," Hitoshi pushed himself up to see the girl he had saved staring at him in shock. Except he didn't see anyone. Just floating clothes.
"You're invisible. That's pretty cool," Hitoshi said dropping back. He wanted to keep going but his adrenalin ran out and he was exhausted. That's when the ground started to shake.
~Ground Beta~
Rumi laughed as she jumped out an open window. "FUCK YEAH!" she screamed tearing through a robot and incidentally saving a fellow examine who had fallen to the ground.
"I had that handled," a blonde boy growled.
"Robots, Points, later," Rumi said quickly taking off towards another robot right as the ground started to shake.
~Ground Gamma~
Izumi sat down panting heavily. She had been going at max speed from the start and it was getting to her. She knew she had to be around seventy or eighty points. She had wound up on the roof of a building after clearing out dozens upon dozens of robots. Now she decided to rest and watch the other applicants for a bit. Sadly the exam had different ideas as the ground started to shake. Thanks to being on top of a building. Izumi was able to see what was happening right away. A massive robot had risen from the ground.
"That's the zero-pointer?" Izumi said in shock.
~Sakamata Children~
As the Zero pointer rose a single thought ran through the minds of all three of the Sakamata children. "I'm going to stop that!"
~Ground Beta~
Rumi laughed insanely as she ran at the gigantic robot. It was finally time to try out her brand new super move. "Yo crazy lady that's not worth any points," Someone shouted.
"Bullshit! An enemy that large can't be pointless. There's more to it!" Rumi screamed as she put all her might into a jump shooting herself high into the air. She aimed herself right so she could hit and launch off the side of a building right after sending her high into the sky.
"Get ready you overgrown toaster!" Rumi screamed. The zero-pointer barely turned to Rumi before she was spinning towards it.
"LUNA FALL!" Rumi screamed with all her might as her heel smashed into the Zero-pointer's eye. Which shattered instantly sending a spray of glass into the robot's circuits shredding wires and cords frying its system.
As the Zero-pointer came to a stop Rumi pulled herself out and on top of the massive robot.
"And that's how you kick all the ass!" Rumi screamed.
"And that's game ladies and gentlemen!" Present Mic called out ending the entrance exam.
~Ground Alpha~
Hitoshi had no idea what he was doing running towards the Zero-pointer. All he knew was it had to be stopped. "There has to be a way to get inside and stop that thing," Hitoshi said out loud as he rounded a corner and the Zero-pointer's massive treads came into view.
"You're going the wrong way," A voice called out.
"It would be wrong to not offer aid," A voice replied as a second examine joined Hitoshi in his mad run at the robot. "I pray you have a plan," the voice added.
"Underneath between the treads. There has to be an access panel. I'm going to get inside and either start ripping it apart or hit the off switch," Hitoshi replied.
"Then go, I will attempt to slow it down," the voice called just before a wave of vines shot past Hitoshi and started tangling up the treads.
"Damn," Hitoshi muttered as he reached the Zero-pointer and found he was right. There was even a hanging latter to get up.
Once inside Hitoshi looked around. "Now if I were an off swi-" Hitoshi nearly facepalmed seeing a literal big red button labeled 'off'
"I can't believe this place," Hitoshi said as he hit the button and the Zero-pointer shut down.
"And that's game ladies and gentlemen!" Present Mic called out ending the entrance exam.
~Ground Gamma~
Izumi landed on the head of the Zero-pointer her claws easily tearing to the metal. "Nobody ever looks up," Izumi said with a grin. "Venom Creep," Her tendrils shot forth from her hands moving over the metal like a flood of water. The telltale hissing told her right away the metal was being eaten away.
"In we go," Izumi smiled as she dropped into the now open head of the Zero-pointer. As she landed inside her tendrils shot outwards started to melt the Zero-pointers internals.
"And that's game ladies and gentlemen!" Present Mic called out ending the entrance exam.
"What? Oh, I guess I don't get to really pick this big boy apart," Izumi said as her whips returned to her.
~U.A. Screening Room~
"Well, that was something," Cementoss said rubbing his chin.
"I've never seen three examines charge in," Midnight said still not fully believing what she had seen.
"No, it makes sense," Nezu said. "Sakamata Rumi, Sakamata Hitoshi, and Midoriya Izumi. The children of Kugo and Ryuko,"
"I'm pretty sure Gang Orca mentioned his kids were getting some extra training help for Endeavor," Snipe added.
"So big question who gets them?" Vlad King asked.
"Either way all three should be kept together. They obviously work well together and most likely will end up as a hero group," Shota said.
"We'll discuss our class selection after we finish awarding points," Nezu said getting his teachers back on task.
~End Notes~ I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I know it's sort of an abrupt end. But I have stuff I want to do for after the exam so I figured I'd just put that in the next chapter.
{1} Yup Izumi's quirk is an evolved Black Whip. As it won't come up in the fic for a long time if at all. The Fifth user Daigoro Banjo is a forebearer of the Midoriya family. I think if we use canon he'd been Inko's Great Grandfather
