Zee would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. They had been dating for 2+ years at this point, but this was still a really big step forward. Neither of them had ever had sex with anyone, but both of them definitely wanted to do it with one another. They had talked about it the other day and decided that, with Dick turning 16, it was about time they did it; Zatanna phrased it as her gift to Dick. Heck, Wally and Arty did it practically every night, and Zatanna almost walked in on them once when Arty forgot to fully shut her door. The closest they had gotten to full on sex was just subtle touches here and there and the occasional discarding of Dick's shirt when they were making out. They were a rather innocent couple in this regard, ironic since they were arguably the most connected couple of the lot: the constant flirting and unwillingness to leave each other's side meant everyone had expected them to already be doing it with one another. And yes, they were technically underage, but neither of them really cared. Half the people at both their schools were doing it on a daily basis, Barbara and Luke had done it already, everyone on the team was doing it or had done it in the past, hell, even Connor and Megan had sex more or less every day, and Connor was technically only 2 years old at this point. Plus, if nobody had a problem with them fighting crime and saving the world as minors, then nobody should have a problem with them having intercourse, at least, that was their reasoning. Zatanna anyways planned to use anti-pregnancy spells, she had been practicing them recently for this very reason, so there was 0 risk for Dick to accidentally knock her up and get killed by Giovanni once he found out.

However, even despite all this reassurance Zatanna was giving herself, she was still nervous. She had used a spell to get rid of the blood involved, she really did not want to see blood during their first time, but it still would hurt. She knew Dick would never hurt her willingly, and he would likely pull out or stop altogether if he noticed her in pain, but it still worried her a bit.

After Dick's "surprise" party, courtesy of the team, Zatanna dragged him to his room and locked the door behind them, placing privacy spells on the door just in case. They quickly locked lips with one another, and she gently shoved him onto the bed before crawling on top of him so that he was in between her legs. They continued to make out ferociously before Zatanna started removing items of her clothing. Dick did the same, and pretty soon they were both clothless.
