After Zyeke, a teenager recently turned young adult, is suddenly taken from his world and thrust into one of his old favorite video game past times, nothing is as he remembers. Ah….hey. It's been, another…long while huh? It honestly feels a little weird to post something here after all this time, especially since so much has changed over the years. But, to get to the point since I'm sure many of you (if anyone still reads this, that is) are probably disappointed at the series going untouched for so long. And, well, I'm sorry for that. It's always been in the back of my mind every now and again, but recently, I gotten involved with a friend of mine that started a Channel on YT and it's kinda been nice to get back into the storytelling scene. Even if things are still busy and probably more hectic than two years ago, I've really enjoyed working with the people I have and am looking forward to being involved with them for the future. But, getting back into storytelling also brought this story back to the forefront of my mind and, well, I finally decided to do what I had really wanted to do with it from the start. I've been working with a talented artist over the past month to see if we could consistently create comic pages based on this story and it seems to be going well so far. So, I've made a profile on DA (That old art sharing website since I remember that's where I went to look at artwork on things for inspiration if I ever needed it) and posted the first 3 pages of the comic for this story and will update a page a week. You can find it pretty easy by going on there and typing the main character's name: Zyeke. I will be adapting the story a little more as it's being created, so there may be things extra or different from what you've read here, but I plan to stick to the source material as much as I can. I don't know if I'll be able to continue writing though since I find myself busy enough trying to fit in doing things for the Channel I'm involved with right now along with general work and life responsibilities. And now this too, which is more for me than anything. It'd be nice to have this little story and dream of having an anime comic of my own, based on this old story I've written and re-written since high school, actually become a thing. So, any support from anyone that still likes this old piece of dirt I've worked on xD, it would be appreciated.
