Hey everyone! It's me again! I'm not dead! I thought I'd give an update to the current hiatus, since an anonymous person left a review asking for one. So here it is! It's been quite the year for me, and I'm excited to share what I've been through and what I have planned.

First of all, allow me to apologize. This hiatus has lasted a bit longer than I thought it would. I believed that the hiatus would be over after a few months, but here we are, over a year later! I guess I was more burnt out than I thought. My main goal with this was to not write until I didn't feel I owed the readers anything, and THEN I would get back to work. Up until about a month or two ago, I had this recurring feeling of 'get back to writiiiiing, your readers are waitiiiiiing', that I had to ignore until I didn't get it anymore. It took way longer than I thought it would, and for that, I'm sorry.

'Now, wait a second,' I hear you saying, 'did I just read that right?! 'Until about a month or two ago?!' Does that mean-' YES! I have started writing again. I've put myself on a strict writing regimen, with a set schedule of however much I feel like writing per week. That's typically around 4 or 5 hours a week, which is a substantial downgrade from the 20+ I used to spend prior to the hiatus, but fret not! I'm actually writing more NOW than I have in over 2 years of this fic. Not having burnout and setting healthy work schedules is a great way to make sure you're producing your best work! I've written tens of thousands of words these last few weeks (between school and work and moving (again)) and I'm excited to share it with you! However...

I won't be uploading the new chapters right away. So far, I have the next 2 chapters of this fic finished, but I'm not comfortable posting them as of right now. What I want to do is have a decent backlog of chapters, like 4 or 5, so if I feel more burnout again in the future, the uploading schedule isn't compromised by my break. Once I hit that threshold, normal uploading will resume, this time with a more set uploading schedule. I hope you understand and look forward to when that happens.

In addition to new chapters, I've also been going back and touching up some of the earlier ones. This fic has been a real learning experience for me (in more ways than one) and it shows in the writing quality. You can really see the shift in skill from beginning to end. So, I'm going back and touching up the chapters in the first few arcs, making the writing a bit more up to par with my current style. As of yet, I've edited 25 of the earlier chapters, and I plan on dropping the updates all at once once they're finished.

Also, once I finish retouching the earlier chapters, I'm going to start copying this fic over onto AO3. Finally! I had intended from the beginning to publish it over there as well as on , but couldn't right away because they have to INVITE you to make an account. It took me THREE YEARS to get my AO3 account. THREE YEARS! There's a whole untouched audience over there that have never HEARD of Dorami Lives Again!, so I'm excited to share the story with them as well. If you're reading this on , you probably don't care, but I personally am quite excited to reach a new portion of the zls community.

Anyways, that's all the news I have for Dorami Lives Again!, but if you follow my other fic, You Got the Wrong Guy, I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that Ai's chapter is finished and will be uploaded soon. It's very different from Saki's chapter, so I hope you look forward to it! For those of you who haven't checked it out yet, I'd be very grateful if you did!

That's pretty much all I have to say. Thanks for all your continued support, and I hope to post chapter 150: The Meaning soon.

Until then, JadedBanana out.
