Lucas wasn't too upset that he drew the short straw to ensure that the other demons that Blitzo's company followed their instructions. It took some time to find the van they used to get here and do what needed to be done, but he was able to find it in time. Even Lucas couldn't believe that Blitzo had a Goetia demon, much less a prince of all things, as a friend, and it made him glad they weren't taking them head-on. One of his friends tried kidnapping a prince a few months ago at Loo Loo Land and got turned to stone because of it. I wonder if that was the same guy?
The short imp didn't have to wait too long as he saw the group consisting of two imps and two owl Goetia demons making their way across the parking lot. Making sure to keep himself out of sight, he slowly followed them until they managed to get to their van. One by one, the four got inside, and just as they were about to turn on the engine, Lucas pulled the trigger.
The C4 went off, and the van exploded into a pile of flames and rust. A lot of car alarms nearby went off when the blast happened, but Lucas didn't care. He just sighed in relief when nobody appeared out of the burning van. Reaching for his phone, he quickly called Marcus. "It's done. They're dead."
"Good. Get back here. Blitzo will be arriving soon."
Lucas grinned as he rushed as fast as he could back to the theme park while leaving the burning ruins behind him.
The Tower of Twilight was obviously a rip-off of the Tower of Terror from the human world Disney theme park but was designed as a large hotel resort rather than a park ride. According to a few employees that Blitzo asked, its purpose was to be one of those escape room theme attractions. You had to solve clues and puzzles and find the right items to escape from the haunted hotel. Naturally, the idea of a haunted hotel in Hell of all places seemed silly, but then it was revealed that they would theme it like Extermination Day and have robotic and holographic images of Exorcists chasing after you.
Yeah, that was brown pants horror right there.
Blitzo looked around the theme attraction as he jumped over the fence gate while ignoring the "Do Not Enter" sign. Since it was still under construction, there were many construction parts and machines scattered around the entrance. Not to mention the hotel itself was only halfway done and looked to be abandoned. Save for his little Loona and the assholes that stole her.
Making his way to the front entrance, Blitzo pushed over the front doors and looked around the main lobby. There was nothing but dust and grim that covered what appeared to be some fancy rich lobby that was just as big as the grand entrance to Stolas's palace. There was a giant lobby desk in the middle with multiple open paths to different areas in the central area, such as a lounge bar, cigar room, and a small casino with card tables and slot machines. There was even a grand restaurant with a lit electrical fireplace. Behind the lobby desk were two large sets of curved staircases that lead to the upper floors. The second floor, in particular, could be seen perfectly from above, where balconies were placed over the grand red and gold curtains.
"Daddy!"
Blitzo quickly looked up and growled upon seeing his teary-eyed daughter hanging up above the second-floor balcony. They had tied her up with rope, and she was hanging on the ceiling like a piece of meat. Her expression was one of utter fear but also hope as Blitzo clenched his fists and swore to skin these assholes alive for this.
Before Blitzo could speak to his daughter, a small series of claps were heard. The assassin imp gazed over to the railing of the second floor, where five figures that he assumed were the kidnappers looked down at him from above. The first one on the left, a much older hellhound dressed in some biker chick outfit with a cigarette in her mouth, had a submachine gun in her hands. The imp to her left, a short imp just barely above Moxxie's height and scared on his left eye, had an auto-shotgun. The one in the center, clapping his hands off, was an imp a bit shorter than Blitzo himself, but he had one horn on his head with the other appearing to have been sliced off. Next to him, down the line, was a beefy-looking sinner demon that was bigger than the rest of them with four horns, two devil wings, and had an assault rifle in each of his hands. Finally, the one to the far right was another hellhound but had long white hair that covered most of his face with a katana in one hand and a pistol in the other.
"So glad you could join us, Blitzo," the center imp stated as he leaned down and smiled. "We were beginning to think you weren't going to show up."
"Save it, asshole," Blitzo stated as he narrowed his eyes. "And the 'O' is silent."
"The only thing that will be silent is you when we fill your body with bullet holes," The leader imp stated as he glared down at Blitzo. "I've waited a long time for this moment. As have the rest of us. I suppose it's a surprise to see all of us working together after what you did to us all, am I right?"
"...Um, yeah about that," Blitzo asked, tilting his head. "Who the fuck are you people?"
There was a long silence as the five just stared at each other and then at Blitzo in disbelief. Finally, the big sinner-looking guy pointed and shouted at Blitzo. "What the fuck?! You don't recognize us?!"
"No, should I?"
"Jackass! I'm Austin Vanderfield! You killed my gang and me in the human world and slit my throat before I ended up here!" Austin shouted in rage, veins pulsing in his neck.
"I've killed a lot of gangs, and I don't recognize you," Blitzo answered.
"What about my sister and her biker gang!" The female hellhound growled. "The Bonerippers! They were one of the most feared gangs in the Envy ring until you slaughtered them all! Including my sister!"
"Doesn't ring a bell," Blitzo replied, rubbing his chin.
"Don't fucking tell me you forgot about my gang as well?! The Blood Arrows of 33rd Street?! We were a big gang making top dollar until you fucked everything up! You left me with this fucking scar!" The scared imp shouted, pointing at his eye.
"If you were really big, I would have remembered you," Blitzo stated, folding his arms.
"What about Overlord Kuma! His boss!" Austin shouted as he pointed to the male hellhound. "You had to have remembered him! He was a fucking Overlord!"
"Oh, please, half the Overlords in Hell don't last more than three years at best," Blitzo said while rolling his eyes which only made the male hellhound growl. "I bet he only lasted two and a half at most. I mean, unless he's the Radio Demon or one of the Three V's, I don't think he was much of a boss if he got easily killed by me."
"あなたは無知、愚か者のために苦しむでしょう!" The male hellhound shouted as he lifted his katana and pointed it at Blitzo.
"Holy shit, he got Hiryu to talk!" Kary said in awe.
"You mean to tell me that you don't remember us at all!? Or the ones you killed that ruined our lives?!" The middle imp shouted, eye twitching. "You murdered Don Paulie twenty years ago! The greatest man I ever knew! A man who was like a father to me! And you don't even remember doing it?!"
"...was the one that shit his pants before he died?" Blitzo asked while grinning, which only made the center imp curse some more. Sighing, Blitzo put his hands on his hips and looked up at them with a bored expression. "Look, assholes. I kill a lot of people. Like, seriously, I got graveyards filled with my name as the cause of death. The only ones I really remember are the ones that actually give me a challenge. The fact that I cannot even remember you shitheads, or your bozo of bosses and wannabe gang members, means that you guys are nothing but D ranking listed wannabes who act tough but are complete and utter losers who aren't even worth dog shit. So if this whole thing is about revenge because I utterly kicked ass and killed your gangs, then get the fuck in line because I got a dozen other enemies that are worth my time more than you."
"...Fuck it, just shoot him," the center imp said as he took out a pistol and aimed it at an impassive Blitzo.
"No! Dad!" Loona shouted in fear as all five of her kidnappers fired their guns at once. The entire sky rained with bullets as the whole room echoed with the sound of gunfire. Grins of satisfaction were on each of the five faces as they continued to unleash shot after shot upon the unmoving imp who just stood there...and did nothing. In fact, nothing seemed to be happening. Blitzo was just standing there, getting shot, but there was no blood, no wounds, and not even a scratch on him. Loona tilted her head. "Wait...huh?"
It only took a few more shots before the five shooters realized that their guns had no effect on Blitzo. Pausing, they looked at each other and their firearms in disbelief. "Okay, either we were all shooting blanks, or we're the worst shots in history," The shorter imp said, looking at his shotgun.
"Oh, right. Sorry, give me a second," Blitzo said as he cleared his voice. He then gave a dramatic gasp before clutching his chest. "Ugh! You got me! Ohh, I'm dying! The pain! The pain!" He placed the back of his hand over his forehead. "Oh, what cruel fate for me to die so young! Oh, the injustice! The pain! The agony!" Pulling a Lilly flower out from his back, he placed it on his chest and gasped. "Goodbye, cruel world! Blagh!" he shouted before falling on his back with his legs in the air.
Everyone just raised an eyebrow before Blitzo sat back up and chuckled. "Okay, okay. In all seriousness, you guys shouldn't really be focusing on me." He then pointed upward. "You should be focusing on him."
A loud Tarzan-like yell was heard from above. Everyone watched in disbelief as a second Blitzo, using one of the large loose curtains as a rope, swung down from a balcony and started flying through the air while making his way towards Loona. Wrapping his leg around the curtain, the second Blitzo flipped himself down and grabbed Loona with his two hands while his imp tail, holding a knife, sliced the rope so she could be freed.
The five kidnappers watched in disbelief as Blitzo, nearing one of the balconies, flipped in the air and landed on it with a perfect pose while holding his equally surprised daughter. "Booyakasha! You just got played suckas!"
"W-What?! But how?!" Austin shouted in horror as he looked at the two Blitzes. "D-Do you have a twin or something?!"
"Kinda, but not in this case," Second Blitzo said as the first one waved. "It pays to have a magical expert as a lover. Especially one who can make illusionary copies for a distraction."
"That's me!" The first Blitzo said as he flipped the bird to the stunned group. "And you fuckers fell for it."
They watched as the first Blitzo then disappeared out of thin air while the real Blitzo quickly freed his daughter and held her tight in his embrace. "You okay, Loona?"
"Yeah, Dad, I am," Loona whispered as she smiled and hugged her father as hard as she could while her tail wagged in the background. "I knew you'd come for me."
"Always, sweetie," Blitzo whispered as he looked down at the five growling figures below. "So, wanna kill yourselves now before we're through with you?"
"I think you seem to forget that there are five of us and just one of you and that little shrimp!" Austin shouted, to which Loona growled and barked upon being called little again.
"Yeah? Funny thing about that. I have some friends in really high places, and they don't like it when someone kidnaps a little girl who they happen to like as well," Blitzo said with a smile just as a red portal appeared in the lobby.
From the portal came a pissed-off Moxxie with dual handguns and his wife, Millie, with a blade in each hand. Behind them were a fuming Prince Stolas and his daughter. They both had their hands glowing with magical runes illuminating around them. This had caused the five to gulp but what really made them turn pale were the three figures that came out next. One was the infamous Angel Dust, who had a Tommy Gun in each of his four hands and looked ready to have some fun while a glaring one-eyed Vaggie was pointing her spear at the five with a look that could kill.
And then there was Charlie.
Charlie, who rarely ever got mad, was burning with Hellfire and had her demonic horns out along with six feathered black wings. At the same time, her red slit pupil eyes glared at the five so hard they could feel their souls just burning by seeing her angered expression. It didn't take them long to realize that they were one hundred and ten percent fucked.
"Every demon for themselves!" Kary shouted as they all ran in different directions.
"Oh no, you fuckers don't!" Millie shouted as she and Moxxie went after one of them. In contrast, Vaggie and Angel Dust went off in the other direction after another. Stolas and Octavia vanished in a puff of smoke and feathers while Charlie took a moment to look up at a smiling and waving Loona. She smiled back and winked before she too disappeared in a blaze of Hellfire.
"Well, Loona, wanna see how Daddy works?" Blitzo asked, pulling out his trusty flintlock pistol.
"Fuck yeah!"
Moxxie and Millie had decided to go after the shorter imp who had ducked into the kitchen and threw himself over the counter before firing his shotgun at the two the moment they busted in. Luckily, the two experienced assassins rolled away before they could get pelted with buckshot. Kneeling behind a smaller counter, Moxxie fired a few shots before nodding to Millie. She jumped up onto the ceiling and used her claws to crawl above while the scared imp was distracted by her husband.
"Listen! This doesn't involve you!" Lucas shouted as she fired a few more shots at Moxxie before reloading. "All I wanted was Blitzo! I wasn't targeting you!"
"Funny, because I think our fake doubles in our van seem to think that's a lie!" Moxxie cried out as he rushed towards the right, hoping to keep the other imp's gaze on him. It worked as he found himself under fire again but dived behind a stove and took cover. "You're a coward who used a child as a hostage to try and kill our boss! You're a waste of a man with a dick the size of a peanut!"
"Fuck you!" Lucas cried out as he got up and roared, firing shell after shell in rage. "Take on Blitzo head-on?! That's fucking suicide! You know how fucking dangerous that asshole is?!"
"Yeah, but I would be more concerned about the dangerous one behind you," Moxxie replied with a grin.
Lucas barely registered this before Millie stabbed him multiple times in the back. Once in the kidneys, twice in the lungs, four times in the liver, and once in the heart. She then slit his throat and kicked him to the ground as he lay there gasping for air and twitching as his lifeblood began to leak out of him. Moxxie walked over and kissed his wife on the cheek before winking at her. "They never see you coming, Millie."
"Only because you're such a good talker, Hon," Millie replied with a kiss of her own. "Wanna finish him off?"
"With pleasure," Moxxie said as he aimed his gun at a whimpering Lucas.
"It was...nothing...personal..." Lucas begged with his final breath before Moxxie shot him right between the eyes.
"It became personal when you took my niece, jackass," Moxxie growled before spitting on the corpse. He was about to walk away when he noticed that Millie was grinning at him. "What?"
"Did you just call Loona your niece?" Millie asked in a teasing tone.
Blushing, Moxxie rubbed the back of his head and sigh. "Okay, so maybe being an 'uncle' isn't so bad. But you better not tell anyone I said that!"
"Secret's safe with me, Sugar," Millie said as she patted her husband on the back before the two left the kitchen.
Kary never wondered where she went wrong in her life until now. Before she left them, her parents always told her and her sister that their choices would get them killed one day, and it seemed that it had arrived. Kary had fled to one of the guest rooms in a panic and locked the door tight with the mattress against it. She hoped to escape through the window, but it was barred uptight, and she couldn't get it to open. She was left with no other choice but to crawl into a corner and pray that she wouldn't be found.
"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck," Kary whispered as she closed her eyes and shivered. "Satan, help me."
"I'm afraid Satan is not going to be helping you today."
Kary gasped and looked around in a panic. She tried to find the sound of the voice that echoed across the room, but there was nothing. Was she hearing things, or was she going crazy? Suddenly the lights went out one by one as she yelped and started to whimper with her tail between her legs. "S-Stay back! I...I..."
"You'll what? Bark at me? Piddle on the floor? Sniff my crotch? My dear, you are nothing more than a puppy about to be skinned alive and your carcass food for the crows to feast on."
"Please! It was all Marcus' idea! I swear I'll never try to harm Blitzo and his family again! Please just let me live!" Kary begged. "Please don't kill me!"
"Oh, we're not going to kill you. No, you have a far worse fate instead..."
Suddenly, a dark vortex with lightning streaking out appeared in the middle of the room and started sucking up anything nearby. Dust, rubble, broken furniture, and more were swallowed by the dark portal as the sounds of sinister laughter and screams were heard from deep inside the black hole.
Kary tried to grab onto the nearby bed, but the sucking power of the vortex was too much, and she soon lost her grip. She screamed as she was swallowed into the void and disappeared without a trace. As soon as she was gone, Stolas and Octavia appeared with glowing red eyes and sinister smiles.
"I see you have been improving your warping powers quite well, Via. Well done," Stolas said with a proud tone.
"Thanks, you were pretty cool with the scary voice. I thought for sure she was going to have a heart attack before we sent her into The Plateau of Leng," Octavia complemented before rubbing her chin. "How long do you think she'll last before the giant spiders eat her?"
"Oh, I'd say an hour at best. Now, let's go find Blitzy and get out of here, shall we?"
Unlike the others, Hiryu didn't go far in his retreat. Perhaps it was because he had a sense of honor or was no coward. Still, the former yakuza waited for Vaggie and Angel Dust at the bar where he had his blade drawn and pointed at the two demons. The two looked at each other and nodded with smirks before charging at opposite sides of the room.
Angel Dust had started things off by firing all four of his machine guns at the hellhound who, to his surprise, was quick enough to block them with his sword as if he was swatting softballs. However, this was all a distraction as Vaggie attacked him from behind with her spear, but he managed to block her downward blow.
Growling, the one-eyed girl started swiping and stabbing at the yakuza hellhound, who dodged and blocked each blow until he managed to spin past Vaggie and kick her towards the bar. She managed to flip over it and avoid a downward chop that could have taken her head off. Vaggie summoned more spears and began throwing them at Hiryu, who backflipped to avoid them until he was drop-kicked by Angel. Rolling back to his feet, he tried swiping at the spider demon, who was able to duck from a cut before wrapping his legs around the hellhound, preventing him from moving.
"Get ready, babe. I bite hard," Angel Dust replied with a fanged grin as he bit on the neck of the hellhound. Hiryu screamed as a sickly green color began to spread from the open wound around his skin, but he bit back against Angel Dust on the shoulder. Yelping, the stripper demon let go and was kicked back before Hiryu tried swiping at Angel but only managed to cut his outfit. "Aw man, you know how expensive this shit is?"
Hiyru just growled and was about to go after Angel when Vaggie attacked from above with a downward stab that he barely avoided but still ended up getting cut in the arm. Again, the two clashed blades, with Hiryu's actions being slower thanks to the poison in his body. Just as he was about to deliver another blow from above, a line of web wrapped against his sword. A second later, it got pulled out of his hands just as he was about to swing down.
The hellhound took only a second to realize he was weaponless before Vaggie shoved her spear straight into his stomach. Gasping, he stood still for a few seconds before going limp onto the ground, motionless in a pool of his blood.
Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Vaggie turned to Angel, who spun the sword in his top right hand. "Thanks for that."
"No problem. I got a nice souvenir too," Angel Dust said, looking at his reflection in the katana and winking at it. "So, let's go see if the other fuckers are dead or not."
"You know, Angel. I'm kinda surprised you wanted to help out," Vaggie pointed out as the two exited the bar.
"Eh, I was bored," Angel Dust said, shrugging before he crossed his arms. "Besides, I don't like seeing kids hurt."
Charlie rarely got mad.
Mostly because she knew how powerful she was when she got mad.
They were still fixing that hole she made outside of the palace when she found out her ex-boyfriend was cheating on her shortly after prom.
Because of this, Charlie did everything she could to prevent herself from losing control of herself to keep others safe. Many failed to realize that behind the charming smile, kindhearted dreams, and beautiful eyes was the daughter of the devil himself. So it took a lot to make her upset.
Kidnapping a child? That made her upset. Threaten to kill her and her father? That made her angry. The two happen to be people that Charlie cared for very deeply? That crossed the line.
Going after the big one, Austin, who was smart enough to head for the back exit, Charlie appeared before the frightened demon just outside the Tower of Twilight in a burst of fire. Her wings spread out menacingly as she glared at the nazi demon with a stoic expression, yet the tranquil fury in her eyes made the bigger devil nearly piss himself.
Frightened with fear, the demon lifted both his assault rifles and fired at them full auto at Charlie in the vain hope that they would save his life. Charlie only merely needed to mentally summon an energy shield around her body to ensure that each bullet didn't touch her. The sound of the guns going empty echoed in their heads as Austin's face turned pale. He tried to throw both guns at Charlie, but they were like flies hitting a mountainside.
In a split second, Charlie had grabbed both of the larger demon's arms and, with no real effort, ripped them off like torn paper. He screamed as his limbs started spraying blood out like fire hoses and fell to his knees, pleading for help. Charlie gave a slight grin, allowing a little bit of her father's side to come out as she wrapped her hands around his face. Dark reddish energy began to pulse from her palms before they started melting the skin of the screaming sinner. Once his skin was nothing but melted goo slogging down his chest, his bones were next as they turned to ashes and crumbled even further into nothing. Only then did Charlie let the big guy's body fall to the ground and depowered herself.
"Phew, wow, I really haven't done that in a long time. Better go see if the others are okay," Charlie said as she walked back inside without a care in the world.
Marcus realized he was fucked, but he was going down with a fight if he was going down. He didn't bother waiting long for Blitzo to come after him. He just went into the theater with his hand on his pistol and stood there with the spotlight above him. The doors to the theater opened, and Marcus held his breath, wondering if it was Blitzo or one of the others. If it was the imps, then maybe he had a chance, but anyone else? Well, Marcus had no problems doing himself with his pistol.
Thankfully, it seemed to just be Blitzo and his annoying brat of a daughter hanging on his back as the taller imp slowly walked inside with his flintlock pistol. Motioning for Loona to get off his back and wait for him, Blitzo slowly walked up to the theater and stood across from Marcus, who just glared at the bastard that ruined his life.
"Not gonna run?" Blitzo asked, smirking.
"What's the point," Marcus grumbled as he looked down at the ground. "Even if I do escape, how long will I be able to run until Prince Stolas or Princess Charlie hunt me down? I'm as good as dead, but if I can take you down with me, that's fine by me."
"If you think I'm going to applaud you for your courage, forget it," Blitzo stated as he growled at the one-horned imp. "You hurt my daughter. Far as I'm concerned, that's a death sentence right there."
"Yeah, well, now you got a feel of what I felt when I lost my boss," Marcus pointed out back to Blitzo as the two continued to stare at one another. Loona, sitting on one of the seats, watched with anticipation about what would happen next. "You realize that even if you kill me, I'll just come back for you again one day when Hell revives me. Not unless you got an angel bullet in that gun."
"Sadly, I left my angel-tipped weapons at home," Bltizo said as he spread his legs out a bit more. "But as for you coming after me? Sure, but I'll make sure you regret it each time."
"Enough talk, get rea-"
BANG!
Marcus gasped as he clenched his heart and realized he had already been shot before their 'duel' could begin. Stumbling, Marcus looked at Blitzo with disbelieving eyes. "You...you cheater..."
"I'm an assassin, dumbass," Blitzo said, rolling his eyes. "I don't fucking play fair."
Marcus let out one last gasp before he fell to the floor. Blitzo walked over and shot him one more time in the face just to make sure before he got off the stage and walked over to his daughter, who quickly latched on back to him. "You okay, Loonie?"
"Y-yeah," Loona whispered as she nuzzled his father. "Dad? Can we go home now?"
"Yeah," Blitzo whispered with a small smile as he patted her on the back.
"Let's go home."
