AN: Here it is, the last chapter. Enjoy. Helluva Boss will replace Turn Back Time on my updating schedule. Yes, I am also aware that there is a Helluva Boss catagory now, but currently all the fics I have are on Hazbin. Any future fics I do will be on Helluva going forward.
Disclaimer: I do not own Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel.
So let's recap. I turned my daughter seven years old again. I went to a theme park with her, my co-workers, the guy I sleep with, his daughter, and we had some fun. Met my ex-girlfriend. Saw various futures of myself, including one where my daughter died. And me and my associates killed five nobodies who kidnapped said daughter because I killed their bosses or whatnot, Blitzo thought as he and the others walked out of the front gates of Hellotopia. Even for me, that's a tad crazy. Still, everything worked out alright, and they kept the death count way below what they usually left behind in their wake.
Still holding that fancy Japanese sword he got from one of the dead idiots, Angel Dust leaned on it while looking at a watch on his arm. "Well, as much fun as that was, can we head back to the hotel? Dusk's going to be taking his shift soon, and I want to see if I can convince him to ravage me with those claws of his."
"You do realize that he's rejected you every time, right? You'd think you get a clue and just give up already," Vaggie said, rolling her eye.
"Hey, it's not giving up until you quit," Angel said with a wink. "And I ain't quitting until I get me some of that kitty cat co-"
"Anyway!" Charlie interrupted with a smile as she stood in front of Angel Dust. "Glad we got Loona back safe and sound, Blitz."
"Yeah, thanks, Charlie. I owe you one. If you ever need a guy taken out, let me know. It's on the house," Blitzo said as he held his hand out and shook it with Charlie. Well, maybe a discount...
Loona decided to be more formal and rushed over to Charlie while hugging her around the neck as her tail wagged happily. "It was great to see you again, Charlie! You better visit more often!"
"Sure thing, Loona," Charlie whispered as she nuzzled the little hellhound nose to nose. "You just remember to be a good girl, right?"
"What are you talking about? I'm always a good girl!" Loona proclaimed with a huff which made everyone snort. "It's not my fault the world is dumb and stupid."
"Truer words were never spoken, Loonie," Blitzo said as he took her into his arms and held her up. "But I think it's time we head home."
The three Hotel dwellers bid their farewells and began to walk away just as Stolas' large limo appeared for them. Since their van was pretty much a total wreck, he had offered to drive them all home. "Well, I must say this was a fine date. Wouldn't you say, Blitzy?" Stolas asked as he opened the door to let them inside.
Blitzo made for the champagne bottles and began to drink from the bottle while the rest sat down. Removing the bottle from his lips, Blitzo said, "Yeah, I guess it was okay. Far better than fricken Loo Loo Land." Nobody argued with him on that. "Is your wife going to bitch about this again?"
"Oh, don't worry about Stella," Stolas said, levitating a glass and pouring one for himself. "She and I have...reached an understanding..."
"By understanding, he means he caught my mom screwing around with an ape demon while role-playing as Tarzan and Jane. Then videotaped the whole thing to get her to keep silent about this affair you two have going on," Octavia grumbled as she hid her face under her hat in embarrassment. "It's less yelling...but I still feel unclean every time I walk past her room."
"Wait, your boyfriend is married?" Loona asked Blitzo, who was blushing. "Seriously?"
"Yeah, it's kinda like that..." Blitzo muttered as he turned away from the amused glances.
"So you're not in denial anymore, Boss?" Moxxie asked with a curved smile. "Because I did see a few futures where you two were very happy together."
"Same here," Loona proclaimed with a smile. "I even got to call Stolas my Pop!"
"I saw an adorable wedding between you two, and you really got the frame for a wedding dress, Blitz," Millie pointed out with glee.
"I guess you wouldn't be that bad of a stepdad," Octavia whispered, shrugging.
The assassin imp looked at everyone with wide eyes while Stolas looked ready to burst out of his seat with excitement. After a few more minutes of silence, Blitzo finally sighed and accepted his fate. "Fuck it. Yeah, we're officially boyfriends."
"Yeeeeee!"Stolas cheered as he leaped into Blitzo's chest, squishing a gasping Loona, and kissed him on the lips. Blitzo found himself surprised but not in disapproval as he closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around his lover. The two continued to engage in tongue on tongue action while Loona slowly turned purple from the lack of oxygen.
"Can't breathe...dying...goodbye...world..." Loona gasped before the two kissers noticed this and broke apart so she could breathe. "Fuck...next time...warn a girl..."
"Sorry, Loona," Stolas apologized while rubbing the back of his head. "I'm just...I've wanted this for so long and..."
"Look, we can talk more about this later," Bltizo said as he held up his hand. "But for now, I just want to get home and relax."
"Of course, Love. Driver, post-haste!"
After arriving home, the first thing that Blitzo did was get his daughter in the tub to wash up while he cooked them some hotdogs for dinner. Usually, Blitzo would just stay up longer, drink beer, and watch TV but having had to walk all around a theme park for hours, he was just fine with going to bed early. Loona seemed to have the same feeling since she yawned just after dinner and soon nodded off onto the couch.
Thankfully, he managed to find some of Loona's old PJ's in his closet and helped her into them. While she was brushing her teeth, Blitzo took a moment to look through his phone, where a few photos he got today had appeared on the screen. He smiled warmly as each one made his heart soar with joy upon seeing how happy he and his daughter were with their family. Then he frowned upon seeing one with Loona, at the age she should be, scowling and giving him the middle finger.
That's right...tomorrow...she goes back to her old self... Blitzo thought as he looked up to see Loona gargling into the sink. He really wished that he could keep her seven forever when things were better between them. But tomorrow was going to be back to reality. Back to her hating me.
"Dad, I'm ready for bed," Loona said as she walked in before pausing and tilting her head. "Why are you staring at me like that?" Slowly, Blitzo got up and knelt down to her before hugging her as tight as he could. "D-Dad?"
"I love you, Loona," Blitzo whispered, tears in his eyes. "I know sometimes I'm not the best father, but nothing has ever stopped me from trying. You are...the most important person in my life, and I would be nothing without you. You're my angel, and I'll always love you no matter how much you hate me in the future. I'll be there to protect you, shelter you, and care for you no matter what the circumstances. You are my daughter. From now until death. Understand?"
"Dad, are you crying?" Loona whispered, confused. "Why are you crying?"
"Because tomorrow...everything is going to be..." He shut his eyes and wiped them. "Never mind. Let's...Let's just go to bed. It's a big...big day tomorrow."
"...can I sleep with you?" Loona asked, which made Blitzo's eyes widen. Holding her tail, she looked down and whispered, "After today...I don't want to sleep alone..."
"...sure thing, sweetie," Blitzo whispered with a warm smile as he guided her to his room.
The father and daughter duo gently laid down on the bed as the former covered them with the sheets. Loona smiled as she snuggled into her father's chest and hummed upon feeling his warm, soft skin. "Goodnight, Daddy."
Smiling, Blitzo shut the lights off and wrapped his arms around his furry little girl.
"Goodnight, Loona."
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Blitzo's eyes went right open before he felt something kick him so hard in the stomach he went sailing into the wall of his room. Feeling as if the wind was just smacked out of him, Blitzo gasped for air and groaned before looking up and realized what happened. "Ah, crap."
Staring at him, covering herself with the bedsheets, was a full-on naked nineteen-year-old Loona who was looking just about ready to freak out and bite something. Quickly, Blitzo got up and put his hands up. "Loona, listen to me..."
"What the fuck am I doing in your bed?! Why am I naked?! And what...what..." A look of realization hit her as she slowly turned pale. "Oh, God. You...I was...yesterday..."
"D-Do you remember what happened?" Blitzo asked nervously. Stolas did warn him about this, and he hoped that the bird demon would be wrong. Then again, waking up to find your adopted father in bed, with you naked due to outgrowing your PJ's, without knowing why was probably worse. Loona looked down and began to shake. Her fur started to flare out before she bolted out of the room. "Loona!"
Blitzo followed her into the living room, but upon reaching her room, the hellhound opened it and quickly shut it behind her. Smashing face first into it, Blitzo peeled himself off and shook his head before knocking. "Loona! Look, I can explain every-"
"Just leave me alone!"
Blitzo was about to say something, but he had to physically stop himself from doing so. Much as he wanted to talk to her, he knew that she needed time to process this. Shaking his head, he sighed and nodded. "O-Okay...I...Understand..."
He had to force himself to step back from the door even though there was nothing else he wanted other than to walk in there and talk to his daughter. Closing his eyes, Blitzo sighed and made for the kitchen to make some coffee before calling the M & M couple. He had a feeling he wasn't going to work today.
Seven hours.
Seven hours of waiting for his daughter to come out of her room.
He spent the entire day just sitting on the couch doing nothing but wait. Blitzo couldn't eat, drink, or even sleep as he spent every waking moment waiting for Loona to do something. Anything. His phone was riddled with messages and texts from his co-workers, Stolas, and even Octavia. All of whom had offered to come over and help. Yet, he assured them that he could take care of this.
That was a lie, of course. In truth, Blitzo was never more scared of anything than right now in his entire life.
He thought back to that future he saw where a little baby girl had died. All because she ran away from home due to a fight they had. He prayed, even to God himself though he would forever deny it, that this wasn't the future that would come to be. Blitzo would rather have his own life end than let something happen to Loona. Even a perma-death.
Every five seconds, Blitzo would look at the door of his daughter's room, where there was nothing but silence. No music. No cursing. Not even a whimper. He briefly wondered if Loona was packing things and preparing to just leave without ever saying goodbye. All she had to do was go down through the fire escape outside of her window. Even if she did that, Blitzo would stop at nothing to hunt her down and bring her home. No matter how much she hated him, Blitzo would never stop loving his little girl.
Just as he was about to look away, his eyes spotted the door handle slightly jiggle as Blitzo stood up with his heart beating as fast as a racehorse. Slowly, the door opened and creaked just a bit before his daughter slowly entered the living room. Thankfully, she was no longer naked and was wearing one of her night robes with burning hellfire wolf skulls and crossbones. Her hair was completely down, unlike her usual style, and was covering most of her face so that Blitzo couldn't fully see her. Gripping her left arm with her right hand, Loona slowly made her way towards her father as he gulped and stood still.
Once she was just two feet away from him, Blitzo finally took a deep breath. "Loona?"
"...Yeah?"
"You remember everything?"
"...Yeah."
There was a deep silence between them before Blitzo nodded and lowered his head. Guess I should apologize...
"Loona, I-"
"I'm sorry."
Blitzo felt his voice come to a halt as he slowly looked at his daughter, who lifted her head. His heart slowly melted upon seeing that on his daughter's face were tear marks. Ones that looked to have been fresh and still wet. "L-Loona..."
"I'm sorry," Loona whimpered before slowly sitting down on the couch, holding her legs to her chest while hiding her face. "I'm sorry... Dad ..."
In an instant, Blitzo was at her side the moment he heard her say those three letters. He wrapped his arms around her chest and let her rest her head on his shoulder, letting her sob without end as the waterworks finally came out. Blitzo himself started sobbing as well, and he didn't care who came in and saw them. Well, he would shoot them, but he would still be crying.
Because for the first time in two years, not counting yesterday, his daughter finally called him Dad after years of it just being Blitz.
"Loona," Blitzo whispered as he kissed her forehead. "You have nothing to be sorry about. I was the one who turned you into a seven-year-old. I was being an idiot and-"
"Dad, that's not it!" Loona shouted as she looked at Blitzo in shame. "Two years. Two years I've treated you like shit! And even after all that, you still loved me! Not when I hurt you, abused you, or even yelled at you! Why?! Why didn't you just throw me out like the piece of shit that I was?!"
"Because I love you, Loona," Blitzo said, shaking his head. "I know I'm not the best dad, and I know I fucked up two years ago. Satan knows what it was but-"
"Goddamnit, Dad, don't you get it?! I'm the one who is to blame for this! " Loona shouted, rolling her eyes as she wiped her tears. She pointed to herself and shook her head. "You did nothing wrong. I just...I took those stupid words to such heart that I acted like a complete and utter douchebag..."
"What are you talking about?" Blitzo asked, tilting his head.
"...Do you remember when I went to prom? When I was seventeen?" Loona asked, sighing. Blitzo nodded. "There were these hellhounds from this other school attending. They were...cute...handsome. I introduced myself, and we started getting along..." She growled and clenched her fists. "Until I told them that you raised me. As soon as I said that, they started mocking me. Laughing at me. Said it was pathetic that a hellhound was being raised by an imp of all things. It wasn't just them either. Over time I began to get more and more mocking from hellhounds when they learned that I was adopted by you. Hellhounds see imps just like the rest of the assholes out there. Wasteful. Disgusting. Weak and pathetic. So, because I was raised by you..."
"They saw you as the same thing," Blitzo growled as he shut his eyes. He was no stranger to the mistreatment of being an imp. Fuck, it was one of the reasons he started I.M.P to begin with. But to pull that same shit on his daughter just because he decided to be a decent guy and adopt him after she lost her parents? They're lucky I don't know who they are, or else they would be dead ten times over.
"I hated it. I felt like I was the laughingstock of the entire hellhound race," Loona grumbled before looking away. "So I took it all...on you."
"Me?" Blitzo asked.
"You," Loona repeated her tone in despair. "It was so much easier to blame someone for my problems...and you were the one who adopted me...so I just...I started hating you. I thought if I distanced myself from you just enough that other hellhounds would just stop seeing me as that 'bitch adopted by that imp' and just as...Loona."
She then moved her hair out of her face and smiled at Blitzo. "Then yesterday happened and...I never felt happier in my entire life." A warm and cute smile appeared on her lips as she tilted her head. "I think... a part of me always knew that I wasn't what I was supposed to be that day. But I didn't care. I had so much fun with you, Moxxie, Millie, Stolas, Octavia, Charlie, and her friends. It was like nothing else mattered but you guys. Even now, when I think about those times, and how you saved me from those assholes who wanted to kill us? I just kept thinking how much I wanted more of it...and how much I missed what we used to have."
Taking her father's hands into her paws, Loona looked up to her father and smiled. "I realize...that those comments really mean nothing...because every happy moment in my life has always been because of you. If the rest of my kind hates me because I got adopted to the best Dad in the world, they can go fuck themselves. Because I don't want that future where I saw myself leaving you for good to happen. I want a future where I'm still your little girl. Because..."
A complete smile appeared on her face as she slowly looked at her father with nothing but utter love in her eyes.
"I love you, Dad."
With a broad smile of his own, Blitzo hugged his daughter as the two cried with smiles on their faces. "And I'll always love you, Loona. You will always be my little girl."
The two continued to hold on to their hug as both of them swore that whatever future was in store for them, they were going to always be together. Because while you may not be able to always turn back time, you can always create a better time for yourself and those around you.
***Ten Years Later***
"Uncle Blitz, will you stop pacing back and forth? You're making me dizzy."
Blitzo looked up from his spot in the waiting room of the maternity ward and glared at the eight-year-old white and black mixed haired imp. The one looking at him with annoyance was busy flipping a knife in his hands that his mother gifted to him for his birthday a few months ago. Moxxie had been trying to get his son into becoming a musician rather than an assassin, but it seemed their darling little Mori was determined to follow more of his mother's attitude. "Hey, you little shit. I did the same thing when your mother was birthing you out, so I'll be doing this for my own daughter, thank you!"
"Yeah, so suck it up, Mori," a small hellhound said in the other seat as she continued to play cards with her second father, Stolas. He was losing much to his frustration. "She's my big sister, and you don't see me worrying."
"Oh, really?" Mori asked, crossing his arms in amusement. "I seem to remember you screaming and dragging both your dads into getting into the limo with your tail in a fritz, Selena."
The two started sticking their tongues out at each other while Millie, who had grown into quite a figure with an increase in her size, rubbed her son's hair in amusement. "Alright, you two. Settle down. We're all concerned about Loona, but I'm sure she's going to be okay."
"Easily for you to say, Mills," Blitzo sighed heavily as he took out a cigarette only for Stolas to levitate it out of his grip, much to his frustration. His husband merely pointed to the "No Smoking" sign while Blitzo rolled his eyes. "I mean, imps like us only have to give birth to one child at a time. Loona's gonna have a whole litter coming out of her."
"I'm not going to have to change six baby pups' diapers? Am I, Papa?" Selena asked while sticking out her tongue.
"Oh, we'll have the nannies take care of it, but you know your big sister Octavia? She also learned how to do so when she started doing her babysitting job," Stolas pointed out with amusement. "Perhaps she can teach you, my little Lena?"
"No thanks," Selena shook her head before smirking at Mori. "I've got one baby that I deal with enough daily."
"Oh, go play dead, you little bit-"
"Son, what have I said about cursing?" Moxxie said as he walked in with a soda in his hands. Like Millie, he had also changed over the years in size and looks, his hair being the most prominent. He had made it grow longer and slicked back, which Millie thought made him look more handsome, while Loona and Blitzo had called him "Moppsie" for a few weeks before they got bored of it.
Mori sighed and grumbled. "Not to use it on any family members."
Moxxie nodded in approval before he looked around. "Octavia and Nathanael are still not here yet?"
"They just texted five minutes after you went to get your soda," Stolas answered, playing a card that made Selena moan in despair. "Traffic in the Purgatory Portal Station is making them late. I promised to text them as soon as Loona was done giving-"
The double doors slammed open and, out of all things to come out of a hospital in hell, was a cherub. A familiar sheep one that looked both happy and yet also in pain. Of course, this cherub had become family to everyone in the waiting room, even if a certain father-in-law never admitted it. Collin, tears in his eyes, looked at them all and said, "They're here! Four boys and two girls!"
Blitzo had practically pushed his son-in-law away as he rushed through the hall with the others. Reaching the room, he burst in and felt his heart melt with joy at the very scene in front of him. His beautiful girl, now a full-grown mother, looked at him from her bed in the hospital. She looked tired but overjoyed as she held six angel winged puppies in her embrace, all sleeping peacefully in the large blanket they shared. Each of them was either a mix of white, silver, or their father's purple skin, but they were all beautiful in Blitzo's eyes. He didn't care if they were nephalem. They were his grandchildren, and he was going to spoil them rotten.
Everyone else came in and soon cooed at the sight of the winged baby hounds, with Selena and Mori being the most vocal of wanting to hold them. Taking one of her nephews into her embrace, Selena looked at him as he opened his eyes and tilted his head upon seeing her smiling face. "Aww, he looks so small."
"We were this small as babies?" Mori asked as one of the females giggled upon seeing him.
"Yup, you were quite a tiny little thing, son," Moxxie said as he put his hand on his shoulder. "But you sure did make your mama scream to get you out."
"Ugh, I take back every joke I ever said about you when you were pregnant, Millie," Loona moaned as she leaned back against the bed as Collin floated into the room. "Collin, you are to never fuck me ever again. Now come here and say hi to your kids."
"Oh my gosh," Collin whispered. He flew over and kissed his wife on the cheek before kissing each of his kids in adoration. "Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus! They're so perfect! I can't wait to bring them to Heaven for the christening!"
"Hey, remember what we agreed to! Half blessed by God and half blessed by Satan, remember?" Loona pointed out with a grin before nuzzling her husband. "But let's worry about that later."
"I still can't believe both our daughters got married to angels," Blitzo sighed to a smirking Stolas. "What are the odds, huh?"
Ever since the Hazbin Hotels became a success, Heaven and Hell had managed to bridge many gaps, and we're slowly starting to get used to one another. It also helped that the Exterminations stopped, and God made a deal to bring back the fallen demons from those days in reincarnated forms, provided that Hell continued to help sinners repent. Needless to say, Charlie was a hero to many for her efforts. It also made it easier for Octavia and Loona to come out and start dating their angelic boyfriends.
Nathanael had been a shock for them since Octavia met him when she took a job in Purgatory. Apparently, it was a love at first sight kinda deal. While it was awkward and trialing at first, everyone soon supported the two lovebirds when they finally got married. Naturally, Stella disapproved of it and was finally kicked out because she wanted to disown her daughter, allowing Stolas to finally marry Blitzo. Naturally, the imp said yes and was now Blitzo Goetia.
The real surprise was Loona and Collin, however.
Not long after Hellotpoia did I.M.P's old enemies try to wipe them out. Still, thanks to Millie viewing the future from the mirrors, they were able to easily beat them with the help of Collin. He had refused to join his fellow fallen cherubs and made peace with the imps who had helped ruin his life. That paid off when Heaven found out about their little business, and Collin helped make a deal between his superiors and Blitzo. So long as they targeted humans beyond redemption, the imps could keep doing what they were doing. They were also charged with protecting human lives by order of Heaven. They were reluctant to do so but ultimately had no choice. Collin became part of their team to represent Heaven while also earning his way into God's good graces again and returning to Heaven whenever he pleased. And so I.M.P. became the Afterlife Gifted Guardian and Retribution Organization or A.G.G.R.O.
Sure, it wasn't what Blitzo imagined his company ending up as. Still, if it meant avoiding getting the ax from Archangels themselves, then he was happy for the name change. It had taken everyone, but Millie for some reason, time to trust Collin, but he had eventually become part of the family. Although him and Loona falling in love was not something he saw coming or approved of at first, but his daughter loved him, and he loved her, even willing to give up his place in Heaven for her if need be but it didn't need to come to that. And so here they were: proud parents of six healthy half angel and half demon wing dog babies.
Not the future that Blitzo foresaw all those years ago, but seeing how everyone was happy and smiling? Maybe it wasn't that bad after all.
"Hey, Dad?" Loona asked as she held out one of the female babies. "Want to hold one? You're a grandpa now and all."
Taking the little one into his arms, he let a big broad smile appear on his face as the little one reached out and touched his nose with a smile. "You're so cute..." She then started bopping his nose like he was a toy and laughed. "And you got spirit too! Just like you're old grandpa...spirit..." He looked at his amused daughter and grinned. "Loooonaaaa?"
Sighing with a smirk, she nodded. "Fine, we'll name her Spirit."
Scratch that. This was the best future ever.
