Remember that this is a FANFICTION, so I can use and bend any characters or facts to my will. It is my second attempt at writing a fic. So please ignore any mistakes or point them out in reviews, and do not feel offended if you don't like some things I do.
Any fuckers who don't like my fic then simply don't read it. I only consider reviews from people who have written a fic themselves, as they would understand how hard it can be to plot a good storyline.

I am in my sophomore year of my bachelor's degree, so don't expect a regular update schedule.
I think in the original Harry Potter series, Harry and Dumbledore were the only ones who spoke Voldemort's name without any fear when addressing him. There were cases when people insisted to Harry to address him as 'You-Know-Who', just like Mr Weasley did in the beginning while telling Harry about Sirius. In the last chapter, I portrayed Naruto as equal, if not more fearless than them, as he called Voldemort 'Voldy'. This can also be due to Naruto's general way of not caring about ranks and titles. So, you can depict him as you like for now.
Naruto may seem too muck OP right now, but I am still introducing the characters and setting a base for them. He will face equally OP challenges in the future.
In the first chapter, when Naruto thought of Hermione as 'cute' was like when we think of a kid's act as cute. There was no attraction there.

"Hehehe… You catch on quick!" Naruto chuckled humourlessly and continued, "It is the stereotype playing its role there again. People misunderstand 'darkest wizard of all time' to 'strongest dark wizard of all time'. While Voldemort is powerful in his own rights, his power lies in manipulation. He gained the title of 'darkest' because he could turn many wizards/witches dark. Your loyal friend can be Voldemort's follower tomorrow. He is the only dark wizard in history to be able to gain many followers, death-eaters. If just raw power is considered, then Dumbledore is the only one who can trounce him. But Voldy is very slippery with a slimy brain which allows him to live longer."
He let all the revelation sink in, and he noticed that they were about to reach Hogwarts and stood up. "Well, don't fret over these things. It's not like you will be facing any of these darks anytime soon. Just try to keep an open view about everything you see and hear from now on. We just reached Hogwarts. I will see you in the great hall."
Chapter 4 – The Phoenix
Great Hall
Hermione was seated at the Gryffindor table with Ron and Harry. As Dumbledore made some announcements before dinner began, she was looking for Naruto as he said he would meet them here on the train but could not find him on the table.
"…. If one only remembers to turn on the light" Dumbledore had just warned them about the dementors that will be placed at Hogwarts this year (A.N. I have changed the sequence of his notices here. He starts with the dementors and then introduces the professors)
"On the more positive side of my moustache, I'm pleased to welcome Professor R. J. Lupin, our new Defence Against the Dark arts teacher. Along with him, our own Rubeus Hagrid has decided to take place as the Professor of Care of Magical creatures," Dumbledore announced, and almost all of the students cheered for their new professors.
As the cheers mellowed, Dumbledore continued, "Yes! Yes! It certainly is good news. But before we indulge ourselves in tonight's feast, there is a last bit of news I would like to share. I am delighted to inform you that Hogwarts will be welcoming back one of its most talented students this year". He paused mid-speech to created dramatic suspense. Still, He saw a sudden look of understanding on Hermione's face, "He is the youngest magi-zoologist ever in the whole magical world. He is currently the best seeker globally and the youngest professional quidditch player ever as a member of the British quidditch team. I would like you all to introduce or, for some of us, re-introduce Naruto Uzumaki!" Dumbledore finished.
Naruto entered the Great Hall from a side door and walked toward the podium. Many students did not recognise Naruto and started murmuring, but those who did mainly were shocked. Seeing the confusion, Dumbledore cleared his throat to gain their attention, "I can see that many of you did not recognise him. But all the quidditch fans should know him as the masked seeker of Royal Quidditch team, The Phoenix" (A.N. Phoenix is Naruto's alias/nickname as a quidditch player, not the team's name). To prove Dumbledore's point, Naruto summoned his mask, which had a flame design on it and his broomstick. At this point, everyone recognised him as the mysterious seeker who joined the royal team two years ago and quickly claimed the spot as the best seeker. There was no denying their headmaster's words as the mask and the custom broomstick was enough for them to believe him.
Flashback to Leaky Cauldron (CHAPTER 3)
Seeing the young witch moving away, Dumbledore guided Naruto towards a table in a corner and ordered two butterbeers for them. After they settled down, he asked, "Naruto, what do you think about being a teacher?"
"Oi! Old Man! Are you going senile? I know I am good at many things due to my regular trips to dangerous places during my trips, but I still need to learn much more," Naruto said incredulously.
Hearing him, Dumbledore laughed and said, "I know that my boy. I am just offering you a position as an assisting staff. Not as a full-time teacher. Due to your experience and advanced knowledge of all the subjects you will have too much time free. So, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for you to experience how a job works. Also, I have one more task for you while you will be teaching."
Hearing the old man's explanation, Naruto nodded and replied, "Ok, I will do it." Taking a sip of his drink, he asked, "So, who will be the teacher I will be assisting? And what's the other thing you talked about?"
"You will be assisting two professors. First, Hagrid in Care of Magical Creatures. He is not liked much by many pure-blood families and the ministry. You will help him keep out of danger. The second professor will be taking Defence Against the Dark art. I believe you met him during one of your excursions is Sherwood Forest some years ago. R. J. Lupin, if I remember correctly, you were successfully able to subdue him during his werewolf transformation. Even if he is much wiser, I suspect Snape to vent his childhood grudge against him and use his status as a werewolf to get him expelled. So, you will be making sure that there are no incidents because of his transformations," Dumbledore explained. Then they continued to talk about the finer details of Naruto's position and idle talks.
As the surprise sank in, Dumbledore continued, "Naruto was in Hogwarts for only six months and had to leave to complete his studies for becoming an official magi-zoologist. Hence, was studied himself for past years and gave exams to authorised personals. Due to his unique circumstances and education, along with being a fifth-year student, Naruto will be assisting both the new professors whenever he will not have his own classes to attend. He will not have the authority of a professor but will be able to hand out punishments and detentions". Without waiting, he concluded, "Now I would request Gryffindor house to welcome their fellow housemate and start with the feast."
By the time Dumbledore finished, everyone had absorbed the information. All the houses, except Slytherin, cheered for Naruto as he sat beside Hermione in front of Harry and Ron. He smirked at them and said, "I told you that I would meet you at the great hall, didn't I?"
"…WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! ahahahahahAAAAAA" the fat lady screamed in an attempt to break the glass with her voice.
While all the students cringed at the voice, Naruto pulled Harry, Ron, and Hermione aside to save their eardrums, "Merlin's beard! That lady was way quieter and cooperative when I was here first!"
"YOU ARE RIGHT, MY COMRADE! THAT LADY CHANGED LAST YEAR!" a loud voice exclaimed from behind them, startling them.
"Sir Cadogan! It's good to see you too. Where is that old man sweeping these days?" Naruto asked the knight, seemingly on friendly terms with him.
"What do you mean she changed? She looks same even if her behaviour is different," Harry asked
"All the moving paintings don't have the memories of the people they are designed after, just their names. So, the small images with no voices or large movements just repeat (A.N. like the images of Harry's parents in the album Hagrid gives him). While the larger paintings like the fat lady take new personalities as they cannot retain memories for more than half a decade. I read it in 'Know you Paintings' during summer", Hermione informed him.
"I was sleeping most of my summer. I don't understand how she can read this much!" Ron whispered. While Harry just nodded in awe, still discovering new things about the magical world.
"It's never bad to read too much, and everyone has their ways to pass the time. I like to play with all kinds of beasts, especially bowtruckles. Also, Hermine is right. These posters do in a way reset themselves after a certain amount of time," Naruto said and continued, "But, there are only two paintings which do not reset. Sir Cadogan here and his best friend, Merlin. It is rumoured that Merlin himself drew these two paintings and that they have their original memories from when they were alive."
"Is it true that you have your original memories!?" Hermione asked, sceptical of it being true by looking at the knight running around all the paintings while making a fool of himself. (A.N. Sir Cadogan's poster is there in extra scenes, and you can also see him in the background, running around in the original movie)
"I AND MY FRIEND ARE TOO GREAT TO FORGET ANYTHING, YOUNG MAIDEN! YOU SHALL INFORM ME IF YOU WANT TO DESTROY AN ENEMY OR EVEN A DRAGON!" the knight responded excitedly, trying to lift his sword in the air to make a heroic pose. (A.N. I am trying to give him a personality like Guy and Lee)
"Ahh! Cadogan! Mind stepping aside. I think I am close enough to defeat my eternal rival," a new voice said. There was an older man dressed similarly to Dumbledore, holding a broom, trying to sweep dirt.
"SURE, MY FRIEND! I SHALL GO GUARD THE CASTLE FROM ANY ATTACKS WHILE YOU DEFEAT YOUR ETERNAL ENEMY!" Cadogan said and rushed through the paintings while stumbling into almost everything in his way.
"I don't think they have their real memories. They seem to have few screws loose," Ron whispered to his friends. Hermione and Harry just nodded in agreement as no one would aspect the two legendary figures to behave like their paintings in real life.
Hearing this, Naruto chuckled and replied, "It's a rumour, Ron. No one knows it for sure, but, indeed, they do not reset. Big brother told me that Cadogan was all about saving maidens and defeating dragons when he was a student here. While old man Merlin here has been trying to get the school free of dirt, his eternal rival."
"You shall also help me defeating my rival young man! I made four more brooms for my students to help me defeat it! But three of them just kept them away while Salazar just used it to play broom wars. I'll tell you! Youngsters don't have any respect for their elders," Merlin told Naruto and went away while vigorously wiping his broom
This left the three younger students baffled and Naruto laughing. "How can he speak of a founder of Hogwarts like they are some brats! Salazar was able to tame the basilisk in the chamber of secrets! And I tell you that it was horrifying until Harry killed it," Ron said as he and Harry shivered by just remembering it
Something clicked in Naruto's mind as he became serious. Then he quickly shook his head, 'I will think about it later' and smiled. "Merlin and Cadogan are at least a couple of thousand years old, Ron. Also, Merlin was the teacher of four founders. It's common knowledge. Come on. The fat lady is done with her screaming, let's go in. I am sleepy," he said and led them back to the dormitory.
Naruto is knowledgeable in many areas. Like, DADA, potions, healing, and herbology. He went to many dangerous places for his research, so the DADA and other three are required for survival in the wild, along with tending to any sick/injured creatures he would encounter as a magi-zoologist.
