Camp David

It took almost two hours for the small entourage to arrive at Camp David by car. They could have made much better time, and gotten there in a half hour, but Olivia was not about to take Brexley up into a helicopter. Instead, Tom, Jeffery, and Clay rode with the First Family, while another car led the way with a number of other agents inside.

The First Daughter slept peacefully, as she was prone to in car rides while her parents held hands and excitedly discussed their lack of a demanding itinerary for the next few days. Sleeping late, nature walks, watching their daughter discover new things, and eating junk food were things they both wanted to do while at Camp David, but knowing they could do them whenever they wanted to instead of having them squeezed into a busy day one at a time was thrilling for the pair.

The first car pulled up to the guard house and a very short conversation was had between the driver and the Commander in charge. The lead car pulled ahead, followed by the car carrying the First Family. Both cars made their way to the front of Aspen Lodge before coming to a complete stop.

Clay quickly exited the car and opened the door for the President. Olivia stepped outside, slid her sunglasses over her eyes, and took a long look around the beautiful woodsy scene. Taking a deep breath, she lifted her face towards the sun and just enjoyed the quiet calm of the moment. Birds happily chirped overhead, the sun shone down brightly, and a gentle breeze blew through the heavily wooded area, filling her nostrils with the scent of nature. The quiet was a far cry from the bustling noises of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Why hadn't they come here sooner?

She felt her husband's arms come around her waist, and she turned her head to give him a smile as her hand came to rest on his chest. "Do you hear that?"

Giving his wife a smile as he pulled her into his arms, Fitz looked down at her and said, "I don't hear anything."

"Exactly! Isn't it glorious?" she quietly asked in a contented voice.

"I could get used to it."

"This is going to be an amazing weekend." She puckered her lips at him until he obliged her with a quick peck. "What do you want to do first?"

"Put my clothes away." he joked.

"Stop being so responsible. We are only away until someone calls us back to the White House. Live a little."

"What would you like to do first?" Fitz asked. He was charmed by her carefree attitude and couldn't wait to hear her answer.

"Honestly?" She asked.

"MmmmHmmm."

"Let's go swimming."

"I could be up for that." Fitz replied in a flirty tone, dipping his head to peck her lips once again. Olivia held him close in a warm hug. Whispering in his ear, she teased, "I'm hoping you are up for a lot more than just a swim today."

Fitz jerked his head back and studied his wife's face. "Don't you have a few more weeks to go until you have your check up with Doctor Lane and get cleared for...things?"

She shook her head back and forth in the negative while a huge grin grew on her face. "I had my appointment earlier this morning."

Surprise quickly faded into a lopsided grin. Fitz held her closer and in a playful tone he asked, "did you bring me to the woods to take advantage of my innocent self, Madam President?"

Olivia chuckled at her ridiculous husband, and then arched an eyebrow at him. "You're damn right I did. I hope you aren't disappointed since you guessed my plan?"

His answer was wordless. Scooping the tiny world leader up into his arms, he looked at the Secret Service agents and asked, "The President would like to go swimming. Which way to the pool, gentlemen?"

Her little arms tightened around his neck and she shrieked, "Fitz! No!"

Tom did his best to hide the grin on his face. "Through the house and out back, Sir."

"Thank you, Tom." Fitz replied, grinning back at the straight laced agent who held Olivia in the highest esteem. It was good to know that he had a sense of humor. "Will one of you please keep an eye on our sleeping angel while I give her mother a tour of the inside of the pool?"

At their simple nod, Fitz added, "thanks, guys."

Olivia wriggled in his arms, screaming, "you'd better not even think about it!"

Fitz simply held her tighter and laughed while his feet continued toward their destination. He strode down the small paved path that was flanked by trees and shrubbery. The lodge itself sat nestled under the cover of tall trees that surrounded it on all sides. It was beautifully secluded.

Before the two of them reached the front door, it was promptly opened by Jeffery, who had jogged ahead to complete the simple task, much to Olivia's dismay. "I thought you were on my side, Jeffery?" she demanded while still trying to get free of her husband's iron clad grip.

Jeffery faltered on his feet and a look of genuine worry covered his face. "Ma'am?" her nervously asked.

"Don't worry about her, Jeffery. In a few minutes she'll be too mad at me to even remember your name." Fitz chuckled.

"Fitz! You really need to stop..." Her rant ended as abruptly as it started when her head turned to take in the beauty of the inside of the lodge. "Wow. It's really beautiful in here."

Even the fixer stopped to take a good look around. A few things had changed since the last time they had been here. It was quieter than he remembered. They needed some quiet. "It's so cozy looking."

Olivia cleared her throat from across Fitz's shoulder.

"I mean, it's beautiful in here because you're in here." He winked at her. "That sounded smooth, right?"

She smiled at him. "No, but if you put me down right now, all will be forgiven."

He pretended to think it over for a few seconds, chuckled, and then swatted her ass playfully. "Where's the fun in that?"

"Fitz!" she protested loudly.

When the figure eight swimming area became visible, Olivia doubled her efforts trying to get out of his grasp. "Fitz! Don't you dare! You can't! Stop!"

"Thank you!" he said politely.

"For what?" She screamed with a hint of crazy in her voice.

"You said I can't stop..."

"Fitz!"

"...and you're right..."

"Please?"

"...I can't stop."" He said with an open mouth grin.

"You will ruin this dress! And my shoes!"

"I'll buy you replacements for both, beautiful." He laughed at her and quickened his steps, anxious to silence her protests.

"Fitz NO! I mean it!"

"You said you wanted to go swimming. I'm just taking you to the pool."

She knew the words were a waste of air and a useless threat to his ears, but she spoke them anyways, quickly kicking off her heels in order to salvage at least one thing from her husband's madness. "If you throw me into that water, I swear to..."

Her words were immediately cut off as Fitz jogged down the steps closer to the edge of the smooth topped water. Bringing her to a cradled hold, he quickly pecked her lips and gleefully jumped into the beautiful blue water. They sank down for a few moments, submerging into the deep end. He broke the surface first, but Olivia was right behind him, sputtering and wiping the water from her eyes with a wet hand. The sight of it made Fitz laugh.

"You are going to pay for that!" she sputtered.

"Now that I know you've had your six week post Brexley check up, I seriously hope so." He had the gall to grin at her and try to pull her back into his arms.

"You are seriously deranged if you think I'm getting anywhere near you right now, OR having sex with you this weekend."

Fitz ignored her short lived rant and floated on his back. He'd have Olivia flat on hers in the Presidential bed by the end of the day, and she knew it. "This water feels glorious."

Making the decision to stop breaking his balls about jumping into the pool with her, Olivia swam over to where he floated in suit pants and a button up shirt. She dove under the water and with her eyes open, broke through the surface between his legs.

He cracked an eye open and lifted his head a fraction to glance down at her. She had to be up to no good after how he had deposited her in the water. He'd keep an eye on her until she exacted her revenge.

Olivia's hands dipped into the water and her palms came to rest on his ass. She gave it a squeeze and stepped closer to his center. "It does feel nice in here."

He grunted as a reply. What the hell was she up to? He began to wonder what his chances were of getting orally serviced right there in the pool when she slipped below the surface of the water once again.

She came up behind Fitz's head. After wiping her eyes, Olivia leaned down and pressed her lips to his forehead before she suggested, "maybe we can go skinny dipping tonight after Brex has been put to bed?"

He did his best to keep the excitement from his face and his tone bland. "That could be fun."

It will be fun, she thought to herself. She had every intention of making it happen. But for now, payback was necessary.

"Are you still mad at me for jumping into the pool with you?" He asked on a chuckle.

"Of course not, honey." Olivia said in a voice dripping with sweetness. She plastered on a huge smile and moved her hands to his cheeks and watched his blue eyes flick open and up to her face. Good. She wanted him to watch her.

"Good. Because I was just trying to..."

His words were literally drowned out of him, as Olivia quickly dunked his head under water. The moment his face was submerged, she began to swim away from him, unable to contain the laughter from inside. It wasn't the complete payment for what he had done to her, but it was a very promising start.

She was within a foot of grasping the side of the pool, still laughing at the shocked expression on his face when she had dunked him under water, when she felt something graze her ankle. Her laughter ceased immediately and her arm came up out of the water, reaching for the concrete side. Both hands came to rest on the ledge of the pool, and Olivia began to hoist herself up out of the water, when Fitz's large hands came around her waist.

"Just where do you think you're going? Honey?" The last word was full of sarcasm. He should have known she would try to get even. It was in her nature after all. If that was all she had, he'd jump into the pool with her fully clothed everyday they were at Camp David. Still, her move called for retaliation. He was still thinking of what exactly to do to her as he pulled her kicking and screaming further into the middle of the pool.

"Fitz! Don't!" She said, trying to sound scary.

"Don't what?" he asked mildly. She was cute when she was mad.

"Whatever you are plotting to do to me. Just don't. I'm warning you." She shot him a look that she hoped scared him.

He only chuckled at her, and turned her around in his arms. Pushing a wet strand of curly hair away from her face, he leaned toward her ear and grasped the zipper of her dress. "You are a bit overdressed for the pool don't you think, Madam President?" he whispered.

Thankful that he was done trying to one up her, Olivia's hands slid up and around his neck, pulling him closer as her legs wrapped tightly around his waist. She had a romantic night in bed in mind, but this would do just fine for their first coming together post baby. "Maybe you could fix that situation for me, Mr. Grant."

"Mmmm, it's a good thing I'm a professional fixer." He could not wait to get her naked!

"The very best." Olivia agreed in a breathy voice, before moving in to claim his lips. She ravaged his mouth hungrily, pulling him impossibly closer. Grinding her center against his under the water, it pleased her to hear him groan lustily. Her tongue darted into his mouth and one hand went to the back of his head, holding him in place so she could take more.

Fitz pulled the zipper down as his wife made her need for him apparent. Sex in the pool was about to happen!

The moment crying filled the air, both of them immediately froze. "Shit." Fitz said softly, and pulled the zipper back up. He moved Olivia to stand in front of him just before Secret Service appeared with an angry little girl from inside the house.

"Ma'am. Sir. She just woke up."

"Thank you, Jeffery." Olivia said, moving to the shallow end of the pool. She started to climb the few concrete steps, making sure her dress was in place and was quickly handed a large fluffy white towel to dry off with. After thanking him again, Olivia held the towel close to her chest, and then held Brexley.

"What's the matter, my love? Did you wake up thinking mommy and daddy left you all alone in the car with the scary looking men?"

The baby quickly quieted and listened to her mother as she watched her speak.

"Oh my goodness. That must have been terrible, huh, sweet pea?" Olivia went on with her story.

"Bring her in the water." Fitz called out.

Olivia shot him a crazed look. "Absolutely not, Fitz. She won't like it."

"She loves her baths." He reminded her. "And don't tell me it's too cold, because this thermometer says it's seventy five degrees in here."

"Need I remind you that we are both still fully clothed?" She asked with a chuckle. "Let's go get on our bathing suits at least?"

"Come on, Liv. We're already wet. Who cares about our clothes now?"

He had a point. She looked down at her daughter. "What do you think, Brex? Do you want to get into the pool with me and daddy?"

Brexley cooed.

"That means yes!" Fitz declared loudly, walking towards them while still in the pool.

"Your daddy is so silly. What are we going to do with him?" Olivia asked, and kissed her baby's cheek.

To her husband, in no uncertain terms she informed him, "She's only staying in for a minute because she doesn't have any sunscreen on." Olivia felt ridiculous for getting back into the pool, now fully clothed, and with her daughter, but she did it. With every step into the warm pool, she fully expected Brexley to have a full on angry wailing meltdown when the water touched her delicate skin.

Instead, she loved it!

For the next three minutes, Fitz and Olivia made happy noises, encouraging their daughter with big carefree smiles in chirpy tones. They held her little hands and showed her how to splash the water – something they were both sure would come back to bite them on the ass when she was a little older. Olivia kept the sun on her back to prevent Brexley from getting any direct sun rays on her skin and to keep the giant ball of gas from pissing her off. It was a beautiful moment for the three of them

"I think it's time we get our little love out of the sun." Olivia begrudgingly informed Fitz. "I'm getting kinda hungry anyways."

"Thank God, because I'm starving!" he declared.

"What are you going to make us for lunch?" she asked with a smile. She began drying herself and Brexley off as soon as the three of them were out of the pool.

"I make a mean ham and cheese sandwich." He offered with a grin.

"What is it about being in a pool or at the beach that makes sandwiches sound so yummy?" she asked.

"I don't know, but I love the simplicity of it since I'm cooking." he chuckled.

"What are we gonna do with your daddy, Brexley?" Olivia asked with a giggle.

Fitz took the infant out of his wife's arms and carried her into the presidential cabin as Olivia led the way. The littlest Grant was starting to get fussy so her father kissed her soft cheek. "Okay, my sweet girl. Let's get you into some dry clothes and fix you a bottle. Your mommy is going to get cranky too if she doesn't get out of her wet clothes soon."

"Good idea. I'll change clothes while you change and feed her, and when I'm done you can change while I burp her." Olivia suggested.

Kissing his wife's cheek now, Fitz said, "sounds good to me" before veering off toward the kitchen while Liv headed towards the bedroom in search of dry clothing. She opted for a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, feeling immensely better having rid herself of the soaking wet, now ruined dress.

Once the three of them were dry, fed, and happy, the trio headed back outside with a blanket in tow. Fitz spread out the large blanket on a soft patch of grass in a shaded area of the backyard. Olivia sat down with Brexley and proceeded to have a conversation with her. "What do you think of this place, Brex? It's so quiet, you can actually hear yourself think."

A bird flew overhead and chirped a happy song, causing Brexley to jerk her head back to look up for the sound.

Fitz inhaled dramatically, making his eyebrows rise high on his forehead and his mouth formed a little o. "What was that, baby love?" he asked. "Was that a bird?"

"It's amazing to watch her begin to react to sounds." Olivia commented, watching her daughter squint against the bright sunlight. Even though they were protected from direct rays, thanks to the many tall bent trees overhead, the light was still bright in the sky. "That sun up there had better not make my girl mad today. We are having a good time, huh, Brex?"

Brexley brought her head down when the bird noise faded and looked at her mother. A genuine smile broke out on her face.

"Those smiles are mommy's favorite. Yes, they are."

Hoping he sounded casual, Fitz asked, "do you think her brothers and sisters will be as advanced as she is when they are her age?"

Olivia flicked her brown eyes from her daughter's face over to her husband's. A thrill shot through her, knowing he was happy to talk about them having more kids one day. No time like the present. "Brothers and sisters?" She asked casually.

Fitz once again took Brexley out of her mother's arms. After kissing her irresistible cheek and holding her close to his face, he gave Brexley a big smile and said, "yea. Brothers and sisters."

Very carefully, he laid his daughter face down on the blanket. He got on his belly across from her and began making faces at her. Brexley loved being outside and he was going to take full advantage of it as often as he could. He was mindful that he was beginning a conversation with his wife on a serious matter. Keeping his voice as casual as Liv had kept hers, he added, "Or did you want Brex to be an only child?"

Olivia had been watching him with Brexley. He was such a good dad with her. He never complained about taking care of her every single day, never griped about diapers and formula, never once made a sarcastic remark about his role as Mr. Mom. She felt truly blessed to have this amazing man as her husband, as well as the father of her children. She was lost in the moment, watching the two of them grinning at each other, when his last question slammed into the forefront of her mind. "No!" She blurted out. Softening it by several degrees, she said, "I definitely want more kids."

"With me, right?" He asked with a lopsided grin.

Olivia gave a light shrug and acted nonchalant. "I mean...you'll do for now."

He glanced over, making sure their daughter was perfectly content before hoisting himself on his hands and knees and leaned towards his wife. She met him halfway and something about the simple mundane gesture settled him like nothing else. Bringing a hand up, he cupped her cheek and watched as she tilted her head into his palm. "You're a terrible liar." he teased.

"There's no one else in the world I'd rather have beautifully gifted babies with."

He licked his lips and tenderly touched them to hers in a velvety soft kiss. Slowly, he pulled back an inch from her face and asked, "how many babies do you want to have with me?"

She smiled at him, wishing he would bring his lips back to hers. Her eyes dropped to study his mouth for a second before answering his question. "At least three."

"You want an odd number of children?" he asked.

"MmmHmm. I'm hoping we have more boys so you'll feel like you run things, while me and Brexley actually do."

He chuckled at her. She was beyond carefree in this moment, and he was thoroughly enjoying it. His thumb brushed across her lower lip. "It seems like you've given this some thought."

She crinkled her nose and moved her head side to side. "It's crossed my mind a few times."

"And when would you like to start working on baby number two? Time isn't exactly on the side of you and your ancient uterus." Fitz chuckled.

Olivia's eyes got big, but her giggle gave away her lack of anger. "That's so mean, Fitz! Apologize!"

"Okay. I'm mostly sorry." Still laughing, but being mindful of their daughter enjoying some happy tummy time, Fitz sat down on the blanket, pulled his wife onto his lap, and nuzzled her neck. "So? When were you thinking about us having this second baby?"

Brexley laid her head down on the ground and let out a sad defeated cry.

"Her timing on that was perfect." Olivia teased. She slid off his lap and happily watched Fitz pick their daughter up. The moment she was in his arms, the crying stopped. "Mannn, is she good!"

"She has superb timing." Fitz agreed as laughter bubbled up from his throat. He brought Brexley close and kissed the top of her head. "Were you getting mad at the ground for not entertaining you, Brex?"

Looking at his wife, Fitz asked, "can we please finish this conversation once girl interrupted is down for the night?"

Olivia shook her head back and forth. "Absolutely not."

Feeling slightly put off by her lack of interest in discussing their future babies, Fitz squinted at her in confusion and said, "okay. Why not?"

"I have very specific plans for you when she is down for the night."

"Oh?" he asked with interest.

"Specific naked plans."

"Ohhhhhh!" Fitz sang, feeling a stirring in his shorts. "I can live with that."

"I thought you might." She teased. "Can we talk more about this while she takes her afternoon nap?"

"I like the President at Camp David. How about you, Brex?"

The baby yawned and closed her eyes.

"She is very uninterested in my title." Olivia chuckled.

Fitz gave his wife a smacking kiss on the lips. "Afternoon nap it is! Come on ladies. Let's all go lay down for a little while."

Olivia opened her mouth to protest, knowing the two of them had important things to talk about.

"We can talk while we're in bed."

She nodded and smiled. "Some of our best conversations have happened in bed."

"Exactly."

Brexley was asleep long before her daddy laid her down in the middle of the master bed with Liv on one side of her and he on the other. Pulling the crisp white sheet up over the three of them, he watched Olivia pat her daughter's back lightly as the tiny beauty slept peacefully. "So. We were talking about having more babies when our baby rudely interrupted us." he joked.

Olivia quickly brought her hand from Brex's back to cover her mouth as laughter escaped her lips. "If you wake her up, you'll be spending quality time with her while I take a nap."

"Grant females take their sleep very seriously." He replied with a mock stern expression.

"Yes, we do." Her expression sobered and she told him, "In all seriousness, as I told you earlier, I had my postpartum check up this morning, and everything is fine."

"Good."

"She told me that you and I need to have open conversations about how we are feeling. That because it's difficult being a parent and taking care of a new baby, it's easy for us to give ourselves and each other mental assessments every so often. And while I'm the one who gave birth to Brexley, you are the one taking care of her daily needs, for the most part, so it's important that you know what emotions to watch for too."

She had his full attention and he was genuinely interested in what she was saying. "Specifically what emotions are we looking for?"

"Well, she mentioned several. Like sadness, anger, guilt, hopelessness, and anxiety."

"I feel all of those on a daily basis, Liv."

This was news. "Really?"

"Absolutely. I feel all of those whenever I think about why I hired Huck."

"Fitz. Be serious. And stop being mean."

"Fine. Do you feel any of those emotions? I'm assuming she meant in an overwhelming way, and not the abrupt anger over an asshole driver on the road?"

"Exactly. When these types of emotions make you feel like you are drowning in them and you feel no way out of it. I explained to doctor Lane that I've felt guilt, but it wasn't overwhelming and it had more to do with not being able to spend time with my family, like I would be able to if I had a typical nine to five job."

"That makes sense though, Liv." Fitz told her as he reached for her hand. He rubbed little circles on top of it with his thumb as he continued the conversation. "I know that you are busy blazing a trail for many other women who will eventually follow in your footsteps. But I also know that you make sure to spend time with us every single day. Hell, you lock yourself in your office for some time every day with Brex. You're a great mom and wife. Give yourself a break with the guilt. If I see changes, I'll speak up."

"You will?"

"Of course I will. Your health is important to me. Have you seen any of those emotions popping up in me?"

"Not at all. You handle the work thing and the daddy thing very well."

"I do?" He asked with a conniving grin.

"Yes, you do. I'm very proud of how well you manage everything."

Not wanting to slide back into the humorous, Fitz ignored the temptation to do so. "You'd say something if you ever witnessed me struggling though, right? I'd want you to!"

"I absolutely would say something. And if you ever feel like you're losing it, even in the slightest, with all that you are juggling, I'd want you to say something to me. Our jobs are very demanding, but everyone needs to step back every so often to refresh."

"Good. I want us on the same page about this, Liv. It's too important for us not to be. Now, about that other thing you mentioned."

Olivia feigned confusion, but her smile gave her away. "Did I mention another thing? I don't recall what it was now."

He returned the smile. "Yes, you do. You've been trying to keep your giddiness about it contained ever since you first mentioned it, and you've done a decent job at it. Talk to me about babies."

"I want more babies."

"I do too. I believe the last word on the subject was when do you want to start on the next one? Tell me before sleeping beauty wakes up so you can answer me this time."

Olivia's smile grew even bigger. "All three of us have been called Sleeping Beauty now. Isn't that strange?"

"Liiiiiv." he warned.

"Fine. Doctor Lane says the minimum amount of time we have to wait before trying to conceive again is six months." She wondered what his opinion on that would be.

"Really? That's all?" He asked with building excitement. "We could have two kids by next Christmas?"

"We could."

Very carefully, Fitz got off the bed and walked around to her side of it.

"What are you doing?" She whispered through a chuckle.

"I wanna be close to you right now."

"You're so crazy." She joked.

He pulled the sheet back and laid on top of his wife. Dipping his head, he kissed the tip of her nose. "Am I crushing you with my humongous muscles?"

"Kinda." she replied with a big smile. He was ridiculous.

"Thank you for lying." he chuckled.

"You're welcome."

"I want more babies with you. And if you want to wait six months or six years, I'm in."

"Does it seem fast to you?"

"After all the time we lost waiting to be together? Not at all. We know we're in this together through thick and thin."

She pushed the curl from his forehead. "For richer or poorer."

"I prefer richer." he teased.

"As long as I'm with you." She replied with a dreamy look in her eye.

"I love you, you know."

"I love you too."

"Can we practice tonight? I might have forgotten a thing or two over the past six weeks."

"I'll remind you. I promise."

"Let's close our eyes until Brex wakes up."

"I can't sleep with your muscles smooshing me into the mattress."

"Thanks for lying again." he chuckled.

"Shhh."

Fitz had just nodded off to sleep when Brexley began to whimper beside him. He groaned lightly.

"That girl really has her timing perfected." Olivia laughed.

"I'm beginning to feel some hopelessness and depression." Fitz chuckled.

Olivia rolled out from underneath her husband and picked up Brexley. "Daddy is silly, isn't he, my love."

Brexley smiled at her mother.

That night, Olivia cooked dinner. Spaghetti with sauce from a jar. Fitz played peekaboo with Brexley and read her a book as his stomach rumbled. The baby sat in her bouncy seat while her parents ate their dinner. "This is really good, Liv. You should cook more often."

"As long as we live in a house with a chef, we'll let him do the cooking. I'll have plenty of time to cook dinners once I'm no longer in office."

"That's a fair point. This is outstanding spaghetti though. And I'm not just saying that because I want to get laid. Which I do. But that's not why I'm saying it."

"I understand what you're trying to say, Fitz. Dinner is good."

He took her hand and held it on the table. "This is perfect."

"I know. And you're not saying that because you want to get..."

"No, no, no. That's not what I mean."

"I don't...understand."

"I'm sorry. No. I didn't mean..." He gestured with his hands. "...that! I meant this. Dinner together with our daughter happily relaxing beside us. No...ringing phones, no people demanding our time and attention. This. The three of us here. It's perfect."

"Yea." She replied softly. "It is, isn't it?"

"I'll clean up the dishes if you want to give Brex a bath?"

Olivia was out of her chair in a flash, picking Brexley up out of her bouncy seat. "Come on, little love. Daddy is going to do the dishes while we play in the water."

Fitz put a bottle in the warmer while he cleaned the kitchen. He knew his little girl would want a bottle before closing her eyes for the night. Once all of the dirty dishes were loaded into the dishwasher and the pots and pans had been cleaned, Fitz grabbed the bottle, turned out the light in the kitchen, and headed toward the bedroom where he could hear Olivia talking in a giddy voice to Brexley.

He leaned against the doorframe of the bedroom and watched the two most important females in his life talk about toes. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as the leader of the free world explained to her daughter that each toe represented a piggie and what each one did. Brexley stared up at her mother with complete fascination.

"And this little piggie went wee wee wee, all the way home." Olivia chanted, as her fingers gently tickled a trail over Brexley's soft skin from her ankle up over her belly and into her neck. Turning her head to glance at her husband watching them play quietly from the doorway, she said, "I think our baby is broken."

"What?" Fitz with a surprised chuckle. "Why?"

"She doesn't laugh at me with the piggies." Olivia looked back down at Brexley, laying on the bed wrapped up in a towel, gazing up at her mother intently.

"I think you're brilliant. I've already given you a five star yelp review."

"Thank you."

"No, no. You deserve it. That performance was breathtaking. Kudos."

"Should we facetime with uncle Huck, Brex?"

"Why would you ruin the moment like that, Liv?" He asked with a pout.

Olivia laughed at her husband. "I was kidding. Do you want to put her pajamas on?"

"Don't think I don't see you doing the fun stuff while I do the grunt work."

"Never mind. I'll do it myself." She said in a determined voice.

"I was just kidding, Liv. I'll put on her pjs." he offered, stepping towards them.

"No, no. I've got it. You go take a shower."

Halting his footsteps, he grinned at his wife and said, "that worked out perfectly."

Olivia whipped her head in his direction and shot him a scowl. "Excuse me?"

"I've been taking notes from Brexley." He said with a smile, and headed towards the bathroom.

"He's hilarious, Brex." Olivia told her daughter, as she began putting the little pink pajamas on her. "We'll see how funny he is when we do facetime with uncle Huck. We'll wait for him to get out of the shower so he doesn't miss anything."

Brexley's legs moved excitedly.

"Don't give daddy any more lessons, baby love. You've got to be on mommy's side from now on."

Fitz took his time in the shower. The water was hot and it pelted his skin with the perfect amount of pressure. It was glorious. He was rinsing his hair in the steam filled room when the shower door opened. Removing his face from under the hot spray, he wiped his eyes to see his naked wife stepping in to join him. Knowing that Brexley must've konked out fast from a busy day of relaxing, he focused on his wife. "Hi." he breathed out.

"Hi."

"You lost?" he teased.

She stepped under the spray of water, letting it hit her back as her eyes dropped to his ass. "I was looking for the mall, but this works too."

"The mall is around the corner, but the view is much better here."

"Agreed." She got up on her tip toes and peppered kisses on his shoulder as her hands roamed across his chest. With eyes wide open, she watched him turn his head with a playful grin on his handsome face. The grin quickly turned into puckered lips and he wasted no time turning his body to face her and connecting their mouths in a hungry kiss. Olivia broke the kiss abruptly, taking her time to let her eyes gaze over his large, incredibly sexy form. They lingered on his growing erection as she licked her lips and moved her hand to reach for him.

Clenching his jaw, Fitz's patience snapped. He pulled his tiny wife up into his arms and ravaged her mouth. When he felt her legs lock around his waist like a vise, he stepped to the shower wall and pushed her back firmly up against it. His tongue slithered into her mouth as his hands groped her wet heated flesh. The need he had for her was overwhelming and he couldn't seem to get close enough to her.

The moment his face disappeared into her neck, Olivia held on tightly to him and chanted, "Now, now, now."

Bringing a hand between his legs, Fitz grabbed a hold of himself and slammed into his wife all the way to the hilt with one quick thrust. They both froze for a moment, groaning loudly, before tightening their grip on each other. He brought his face from her neck and touched his forehead to hers. "Are you okay?"

"Sooo much better than okay!"

"You sure?" The last thing he wanted to do was hurt her. It had only been six weeks, and while that felt like an eternity sexually, her body was still recovering.

Her hungry brown eyes held his soft blue ones. He was one in a million and he was all hers. "Fitz? Every time you stop to ask a question, I will lower your five star Yelp review."

The grin returned but disappeared in a flash when a low growl rumbled up from his throat. He held her more firmly up against the shower wall with one hand, freeing the other to touch her as he pleased. His hips began to thrust repeatedly against hers with great vigor, and his hand found it's way to her nipple, and began to pinch and roll the wet bud between his fingers. Moments later, his mouth dipped and began to finish the job his fingers had started.

The noises that came from his wife spurned him on like nothing else. He had missed this intimate closeness with her. And even though this joining was wild and reckless, he'd make sure the next round was slower so he could show the tenderness he knew she also needed from him.

"Oh, god, Fitz!" Olivia moaned. Her hand slid down his back and her fingernails clawed his wet skin while the other tugged on the curls at the back of his neck. "More! Please!"

Bringing his mouth back to hers, their tongues immediately found each other in a passionate and crazed dance. His brain screamed a loud warning, alerting him that he was quickly nearing the brink of satisfaction. The familiar pressure his body was experiencing was deliciously intense. Knowing he would never leave Liv hanging, his free hand came down between their bodies and he began to anxiously rub her bundle of nerves at the center of her thighs.

Olivia's heavy breathing faltered and she whimpered his name as her belly muscles tightened. She knew she was leaving marks on his back, but she just didn't care at the moment and continued to do so. She felt his lips at her ear, and wondered what he possibly had to say. He sucked on her earlobe and then kissed the skin just below it before commanding her to let go in that incredibly sexy baritone voice of his. That was her undoing. Her body immediately complied, and racked her with spasms as thrilling shocks flew through her, making Olivia feel more alive than she had in months.

Mere moments later, Fitz followed right behind her. His hips were pressed so tightly against hers he just knew she'd have the tile imprinted on her ass. With a whining sound, his body emptied inside of hers.

Both of them were still breathing heavily when they slid to the floor of the shower. Since she was on his lap, Olivia's head plopped down on her husband's shoulder. "That...was amazing!"

"Mmmm. No complaints here." He pushed her hair off her cheek and added, "as soon as I get my strength back, I'll carry you to bed and do it all over again."

She lifted her head wearily and told him, "I may look exhausted, but I promise I'm looking forward to it."

Chuckling at her, Fitz lightly grasped her chin between his thumb and index finger. Gazing into her beautiful chocolate eyes, he pecked her lips and then gave a warning. "I promise you'll be completely exhausted by the time I'm done with you and tuck you into bed."

The water was hot, but Olivia shivered at his words and desire stirred in her belly. She got to her feet and reached a hand in his direction to pull him up. "Let's get cleaned up and see what you got, Mr. Grant."

Three hours later, both completely spent and boneless, Fitz pulled the sheet and light blanket up over their bodies. Both knew they really should shower, but neither of them had the energy for it. The I love yous were said in groggy voices before sleep took them over.

The next morning Fitz got up with Brexley. After changing and feeding the littlest Grant, he set her swing up in the kitchen and decided to make Liv her beloved pancakes for breakfast. He got busy in the kitchen while Olivia slept in.

The entire day was filled with endearing moments for the First Family while Brexley was awake. The three of them took a nature walk where Olivia pointed out birds, caterpillars, rocks, and streams to Brexley as she rode comfortably in her stroller. They all ate their lunch outside in the beautiful sunny day, followed by enjoying tummy time together, again on a blanket outside. Later, the happy parents put on music and took turns dancing with her in the living room of the cabin.

As sweet as their time was with Brexley, the two parents' time together turned passionate when she napped. The nearest counter, the living room sofa, and even in the chair behind the desk in the President's office were places inside the cabin that got christened that weekend. Besides the mind blowing sex, they had wonderful conversations about the timeline for working on babys number two and three. They were giddy with excitement over the vision for their family.

The happy little family left Camp David on Sunday with new memories and fresh determination to get started on growing their family as soon as Christmas was over. It would mean being on the campaign trail while pregnant and having a summer baby, but Olivia didn't mind. By the time they had their third, she would most likely be two years into her second term as President. It was a good plan, and one she couldn't wait to see come to fruition.

This is the last chapter of this story. I'll post an epilogue soon & then this story will be finished. I know it has a lot more that could have been written, but I've been having problems being motivated to write this story the last several chapters, & that tells me it's time to end it. I have another story already started & it's lighter & has more humor. More my style. I'm glad I wrote this one & I really enjoyed writing something a bit more serious, but I'm ready to get back to what I'm more comfortable with for a while. I like to challenge myself, so who knows what I'll try to do at a later date.

You all have been amazing readers & reviewers & I treasure you. Thank you for being supportive & kind with your feedback. It really does mean more to me than you will ever know. Stay safe.
