"So you're saying you have tickets to a concert."

"Mhm."

"A Green Day concert."

"Yep."

Thalia stares at her boyfriend with an overflowing amount of incredulity. "And you're going to sell them to make money. When you might know someone who really likes Green Day and has been talking about going to this particular concert for months?"

Percy Jackson, bless those baby-seal eyes he possesses, looks as innocent and idiotic as ever when he replies.

"Yeah?"

Thalia grumbles. Idiot.

She still follows him, though, even as he gets in his car to sell those damn tickets in person because the fucking concert is today and she hadn't even realised that he'd had those damn tickets until today.

Instead, he was taking her out to a reservation at some spot she didn't recognise. Knowing the Kelp Head, it would probably be something she'd end up loving with a grudge, but still. Green Day concert. That she'd been asking about for months.

Seriously, his density knew no bounds.

"How far are they?"

"Hmmm?"

"The person we're meeting, idiot."

Percy hums for a few seconds, eyes fixed on the road with a seriousness that's been instilled to their ADHD brains by Chiron, who really didn't want his students causing accidents on the road because camp didn't exactly provide insurance.

"Not that much further."

And then the stadium pulls into view.

"Don't tell me we're going to give it to them at the fucking entrance. This is rubbing salt in an open, infected, festering wound." Thalia groans, throwing her head back, but she gets no answer. The car does eventually pull to a stop, the engine sputtering before it shuts down.

Percy doesn't say a word as he pulls her stubborn frame from her seat and out of the car, ushering her towards the gates with his hand on the small of her back, Thalia pouting like a child as he nudges her forward.

She's still hostile, arms crossed and all, when he finally leans down and whispers in her ear.

"Okay. Maybe I was lying when I said I was selling it for money." Thalia's head snaps up suddenly and Percy has to dodge with his demigod reflexes when she frowns, not realising the implications of his words.

"What?"

Her boyfriend only grins.

With that, she finally realises where she's been standing for the past fifteen minutes. In the middle of the fucking queue, slowly shuffling forwards towards the entrance gate.

No fucking way.

Thalia whips her head back towards Percy with a massive grin on her face, and he tightens his grip on her waist firmly, stroking her side.

"You fucking suck, Percy Jackson."

"I know."
