"… and I became pregnant with his child."

Silence. Silence is what Regina was met with when she was done speaking. She knew it was going to be a lot for Henry to take in, but after a few minutes of waiting and worrying her lip, yet still getting nothing from her son, she began to worry.

"Henry? Sweetheart, are still there?" Henry heard from his phone. He could here the trepidation in his mothers' voice, that is what broke him out of his shock induced stupor.

"Yeah. Yeah mom, I'm still here." He says after clearing his throat, voice cracking on him just a bit. "Sorry, that was just…. You and Facilier could have had a child?"

Releasing the breath she didn't know she was holding, Regina was relieved that Henry hadn't freaked out. "Yes, sweetheart. We almost did but…. It was never meant to be." A small sigh could be heard through the receiver, a sigh of a mother who lost her child. A sigh Henry can recognize, because he once caused it.

"Mom, what happened? To you and Shadow m- I mean Baron? What- What happened to your baby?" he asked timidly, not wanting to cause his mother to relive the pain he was almost certain was just another part of his mothers' story.

"That- that's a story for another time dear." Regina said, not ready to tell that unknown part of you life just yet. "Right now, I want to try and focus on Evie. Where she came from, how she got here, and hopefully find a way to get her back home."

"Of course, mom. I won't push. I don't remember seeing anything about Auradon before I left. Maybe the authors' house has book about it and maybe Evie's story. There were a lot of them in there we never looked at."

"That's a good idea, honey." Regina said, glad to steer away from their previous topic. "Maybe when you come home next week we can take a look together, and you can meet our house guest." She said with a smile on her face.

"Sounds like a plan mom." Through the receiver Regina could hear another voice. "Yeah be right there. Mom I have to go. I promised Tony I'd help him with our Physics exam coming up. I'll call you tomorrow. Same time?"

"It's no problem, dear. Yes, 6 like always. I love you."

"Love you too, mom. Bye!"

With that the line went dead, and Regina was left in her kitchen, becoming lost in her thoughts. She wasn't entirely sure what to do with the information she learned today. It had been so, so many years since her baby was at the forefront of her mind.

Placing her hand on her stomach, the former queen became lost in her memories….
