The Corral

Game of Flames:

A Gamer X KHR crossover that exists solely because I found the idea hilarious. This is an attempt to see what would happen if Tsuna underwent his transformation from 'scaredy-cat' to 'Sky Lion' a bit faster, and with a few extra attachments. Will be more humorous than HAR, but just like the source material, it'll have it's moments of seriousness. Important things to note: Tsuna and the crew have all being made age 15, aging Tsuna and most of the guardians up while Hibari remains 15 and the older characters stay their respective ages. This is entirely just because I hate the concept of 'child soldiers' no matter the context, though that's not to say that it won't have it's consequences in-universe. Also, no information will be revealed about any possible pairings until it happens in story. Will go on until the end of the manga and maybe one arc further than that. Status: Completed

Sieg Heil, Mein Major:

I recently re-watched Hellsing Ultimate, and despite the fact that it doesn't seem to know whether or not to take itself seriously, it was still an epic show. And one of my favorite characters had to be The Major. He was brutally honest, he wasn't some sort of untouchable demi-god, and he knew exactly what he was doing and what it meant. Above all, I loved his ability to move people with just his words, despite probably being the weakest person in the entire show, as even Integra held her own against some vamps. So, I decided to see what would happen if I threw the sociopathic, megalomaniac Major into the body of Whitley Schnee. Partly because it's a call back (The Major was originally designed to have silver hair and blue eyes from what I gather) and partly because what little we see of Whitley actually has him mirror The Major quite well: little to no combat ability, physically emotive, manipulative, and heir to a business that prides itself on being built upon the backs of those it considers beneath them. The Druid of Hogwarts:

A look into what happens when you take two people's most defining characteristics and swap them around. In this universe, Neville is the painfully non-observant Defense whiz while Harry is the quiet kid who's good with plants. Maybe a little TOO good. NOT A WRONG-BWL STORY!!! While you'll see a good bit of the normal Hogwarts curriculum, the vast majority of my inspiration for what Harry is and isn't capable of will comes from the D&D 5e player's handbook on Druid PC's (for all those curious on how i'm loosely running that, Harry's Druid Level will start at one before he goes to Hogwarts, and he'll gain at least one level every year). Will feature a different 'golden trio', though who exactly that'll be made of will be my little surprise for the first few chapters. Latest Chapter: 4 (11/18/21)

Temporal Distortion:

Also known as "what would happen if you took the characters Naruto (from Naruto), Uvogin (from HxH), and Alucard (from Hellsing Ultimate Abridged) and smashed them together into one bat-sh!t character". Features a few things that I thought up on my own, like Naruto's power-set and the general plot-line, but also a few clichés. Pairings are a secret for now (though knowing me, I'll probably cave and tell you guys like ten chapters in), but I will say that Naruto will be in a monogamous MxF relationship even though MxM, FxF, and Poly relationships will be featured. Will start at the very beginning of Naruto's life, but will jump twice until we reach the start of the original show timeline. Latest Chapter: 3 (7/13/19)

Ego Exitum:

For those of you without the time or energy to use google translate, Ego Exitum is latin for roughly "I am Death". Of course, such an edgy title needs an equally edgy intro and MC right? Enter Syd Strange, alternate universe child of Stephen Strange. He's a smoker and an overpowered mage who literally went through war, losing friends and family. This is where we take a hard left turn from the expected. Stephen is an unmotivated, devil-may-care kind of guy who deals with things in a mature and adult manner. He's also not very serious, cracking jokes and relaxing rather than be all up-tight. This isn't the story of someone's rise to power, it is the tale of someone who fell from power, and is entirely fine with that. Will he regain his power anyways? Will he change his mind about being cool with sitting on the side-lines? Will he find a new home? When am I gonna stop asking rhetorical questions, since they're a lame gimmick that grates on the reader if you do it more than once or twice? The answer to that last one is 'never', just by the way.

Blood Flame Hero:

A complete rewrite of Hero Academia, Reborn. This story will primarily focus on an Izuku who has the memories of a mafioso from the Hitman Reborn universe. Where HAR was mostly a recolouring of canon, I hope for Blood Flame to quickly strike out as a whole new monster. This Izuku won't be as nice as canon or HAR Izuku. He's only in this gig for the action, and the fame, and he's willing to take down anyone in his way. This story does feature an Izuku with a Quirk, namely Pyrokinesis (though it'll have a few twists as explained in story when the time is right). This story will also be a slight bit more 'mature' than HAR. There will be more graphic violence, plenty of swearing, and possibly even character death. It'll also have less campy references to things, since that gimmick got a little old seeing as most of you didn't get them in the first place with HAR.

The Chains That Bind:

So, this one's a bit different than my usual stories. A lot less 'feel good' and a lot more 'dark and gritty'. Basically, I finally got around to watching Made in Abyss and absolutely fell in love with the character Bondrewd. TCB is my attempt to make a similar character, but in a world where his specific brand of madness stands out more. So quick warning to those unfamiliar with the character who inspired this story, there will be blood, death, torture, and a bunch of things that you'd expect an insane villain to do. Also, completely unintentionally, I got bit by my muse and wrote the first five chapters all in one go. I have no clue if i'm gonna do all future chapters in similar increments of switch to a one-by-one thing like usual, it all depends on how inspiration strikes me.

Hope everybody is having a good holiday season! Halloween, my favorite time of year, has once more come and gone. Next up is Turkey Day! Not a huge fan of Thanksgiving as a cultural thing (Christopher Columbus knows what he did), but I love food. Especially green bean casserole. Can't get enough of it. Anywho, one of my friends is currently trying to convince me to take Adderall for my anxiety and unmedicated ADHD, so i've been having random spots of inspiration amidst my life slowly crumbling to insanity due to work, on top of the baby. If you missed the last update here, my sister had a baby and I'm helping raise it because of reasons. So you guys get a new chapter of 'The Druid of Hogwarts'! I really love this story, and i've been wanting to write more of it. I've had enough of stories where Harry is a whiny baby, or an edge-lord. Yeah, teens can be emotional, but not all of them let that define their character. I'm far more intrigued by a person who looks adversity in the face and says 'F this. Not my circus, not my monkeys'. Of course, because plot has to happen, my dear Druid will still get roped into shenanigans, but he'll approach it more as a 'if I must' than canon-Harrys 'i'm the only one who can'. Chapter 4 also introduces a few concepts that will be really important for this story as it goes along. Namely the fact that Wizarding politics make no darned sense. JK Rowling built a fantastic world, but she kept just throwing new stuff on top of old stuff without even trying to make them work together. 'oh, Death Eaters got off without being jailed because they lied, but we can make Fake-Moody confess to being a fake using this super easy to find potion that makes it impossible to lie'. Yeah. Right. Eh, if I start rambling about logistical fallacies in Rowling's works I'll be here until Christmas eve 2022. If you don't hear from me again before the new year, assume i'm doing more work stuff or baby related stuff. Have a nice Holiday Season, whatever it is you celebrate.
