Lena smiles as she looks towards Kara who is laughing at something Winn is saying, instantly Kara turns her blue eyes towards her and smiles softly as she turns back to Winn.
"So my mom should be here any minute and just FYI Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday," Alex tells the CEO as she sits across from her at the kitchen table.
"Got it," she mumbles as her smile widens as Kara walks towards her, she leans up to accept the offered kiss as she pours her a glass of wine.
"So how are you going to tell mom? Are you going with the we banged like bunnies until we realized we were in love? Or are you going with a different approach?" Alex asked causally as she took a swig from her beer.
ALEX!" Maggie scolded as she slapped her girlfriend's shoulder.
"What? I'm curious?"
"Oh piss off," Lena mumbled as she sticks her tongue out at the older Danvers.
Alex laughs, as the door opens and Eliza walks through.
"Hey girls," she greets her daughters as she leans down to kiss the top of Alex's head.
"Hey mom," Alex greets her as she helps her with the bags she was carrying in.
"There's more in the car," she says as she trails off as she looks towards Kara who's sitting in Lena's lap.
"We'll get them," Maggie offers as she grabs Alex's hand and leads her out the door.
"Uh hi," Eliza offers as she sits down across from the couple.
"Eliza this is Lena, my girlfriend…" Kara stammers.
"Nice to meet you," she says warmly as she shakes her hand.
"Likewise," Lena replies nervously.
"Did we miss anything?" Alex asks as she sets everything down.
"Alex," Maggie snaps.
"Am I missing something?" Eliza asks with a smirk.
"Who's hungry?" Kara speaks up as she stands up before walking towards the stove.
Lena shoots Alex a dirty look before following after.
"That was delicious sweetheart," Eliza tells the blonde as she kisses her forehead.
"I'm so full," Winn complains as he slouches down in his chair.
"Told you not to try and challenge Kara to a turkey off," Alex smirks as she pats him on the head as she walks pass.
Kara grins as she and Lena collect the dishes as they take them to the kitchen.
"Let me do those," Eliza speaks up as she takes a plate from her adoptive daughter.
"That's fine Mrs. Danvers, we've got it," Lena smiles at her.
"Please call me Eliza," she replies as she grabs a towel and begins drying.
It was well past midnight when Winn and J'onn left, they said their goodnights before taking some offered leftovers.
"Well we should probably heads out as well," Maggie yawns as she stands up and stretches.
"Yeah alright," Alex replies as she says goodbye to her mother and sister, "text me the details," she mumbles as Kara pushes her out the door.
"Okay so what's up with your sister?" Eliza asks point blank as she looks back and forth between the couple.
"Nothing," Kara replies instantly her voice squeaking.
"Kara," she sternly replies as her eyes narrow.
"Maybe I should go," Lena chimes in embarrassed as she goes to grab her things.
"Please don't," Kara asks her.
Lena gives her a tight smile as she sits back down.
"So how did you guys get together? Last time I was here, you two were best friends and where's James?" Eliza asks as she looks around the room.
"I'm no longer friends with him," the blonde snaps, smiling as Lena takes her hand.
"Sweetie what's going on?"
"He fired me," Kara trails off as she looks down.
"Then I fired him," Lena also trails off.
"I'm missing something," Eliza says as she waits for them to continue.
Lena takes a deep breath, "I got a little to tipsy one night and kisses him and he took it as me having feelings for him which I definitely do not," she scoffs.
"Because you love my daughter," Eliza smiles.
"I really do," she replies as she squeezes the said woman's hand.
"That's why you asked to be friends with benefits then?" Eliza smirks as she stands up.
Lena chokes on her drink as she turns bright red.
"Wait how?" the hero asks confused.
"Your sister's voice carries," she tells her as she kisses her forehead. "I'm going to head out, you two lovebirds have a great night."
"Yeah thanks," Lena mumbles as she refuses to make eye contact as Kara walks her mother to the door.
"I like her," Eliza whispers as she hugs her tightly before leaving.
"Remind me to kill your sister next time I see her," Lena tells Kara as she crawls into bed next to the blue eyed blonde.
Kara smiles as she leans over and kisses her lightly on the lips, "she likes you."
"She does?" she asks shocked as she grabs her lotion and begins to apply some.
"Yes, I told you she would."
"Okay great," Lena smiles as she sets it back down.
"So I was thinking," Kara begins as she Lena turns towards her.
"What is it?"
"Would you maybe want to move in with me?" she asks as she looks down her shyness getting the best of her.
"Are you serious?" Lena asks gleefully as she cups Kara's cheeks trying to get her to look at her.
"Yes, whenever you aren't here it's always hard for me to fall asleep and well I love you and I just want you here all the time,' Kara rambles.
"I would love too," Lena tells her.
"Really?" Kara beams as she takes both her hands.
"Waking up to this beautiful face every morning? Yes please."
"I love you," Kara exclaims as she pulls her into a passionate kiss.
"I love you too darling," Lena replies as she kisses her back, hands soon begin to wander as clothes are discarded.
