Thinking

Izuku was in his penthouse sharpening all his bladed weapons. It had been a couple of months since the UA entrance exam. He was still cursing himself for going to it. He had to cover his tracks much more than before because he had caught Nezu's eye. Izuku knew Nezu, he was the rat's former student after all, when the rat saw a new puzzle, he couldn't put it down till he solved it. The Red Hood Vigilante became Nezu's new and now favorite puzzle.

Yeah, Izuku was still labeled as a vigilante and not a villain even with all the murders he had committed. He had planned on killing heroes too but with all the coverage he was getting late, and with what his old mentor was up to, he decided to delay those plans, for now at least. This still didn't stop him from killing villains and others who broke his rules in his territory.

With the two drug lords he kept alive each doubled their territory because of him. With him getting 30% profit from both, Izuku was making a nice chunk of change. He used it mostly for his supplies, but he had been anonymously donating it to charities for those less fortunate. With most of his donated money going towards quirkless charities. He had made sure that those were scams and personally check out the top employees, and those that have received help. The ones he donated to were legit, so he thought he technically wasn't quirkless anymore, he could still help his people.

Something big was happening soon. Giran had told him as such. A new group was being made. They call themselves the League of Villains. They had a huge operation happening soon, he had told Giran he wanted in. When questioned why he told the broker, he wanted to see what the group was all about. He told Giran to let them know he was interested.

That was 2 weeks ago, and tonight he was going to meet with the apparent leaders. He was making sure that all his equipment was in peak shape so he could properly defend himself. He glanced at his clock and saw that he had 1 hour till he got to the meeting spot.

Izuku got up sheathed his sword and went to put on his uniform. He was putting on the last of his weapons when he saw he had 45 minutes left. He put on his helmet, tossed his hood up, and was jumping off his balcony, 3 seconds later.

His grapple hook was already in his hand as he fell. I quickly launched it and soon he was being pulled towards the direction of the building he had launched onto. He liked flying through the sky, but Izuku knew it wasn't the fastest option. He was looking into getting a motorcycle. He would need to make some heavy modifications for it but until then it was grappling and running across rooftops.

He made it to the meeting location with 15 minutes too spare. He surveyed the area to make sure no one was nearby or could see him. He walked to the edge of the roof and sat down, his legs dangling off the end. He pulled off his helmet but pulled the hood back on top of his head so no one could see his head from behind. He pulled a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from one of his pouch pockets. He had picked up the habit from when he was revived and was trying to help cope with that trauma. The same went for the slight drinking problem he had. His slight regeneration and exercise routine stopped the negative effects from both habits though.

Izuku was smoking his cigarette while taking in the view. Soon he heard a weird sound directly behind him. He flicked the bud away and pulled his helmet on. He was thinking of either getting a face mask and keeping the hood or getting rid of the hood since he has the full-sized helmet. He decided the think about that later.

As when he turned around there was a swirling black mass on the roof. Soon a shape formed. Izuku quickly realized it was ahead of the two yellow glowing eyes the form had.

"Good evening," The head spoke politely. "My name is Kurogiri a member of the League of Villains. And am I to assume you are Red Hood?"

"Got it in one smokey," Izuku commented as he was still analyzing this figure.

"Excellent. I have been charged with taking you to our hideout so you can meet those in charge. If you would step through the portal, please." Kurogiri informed Red Hood.

Izuku analyzed for another moment before he took the few steps forward and passed through the black mist. When the blackness disappeared, he was standing in a pretty decent-looking bar. He scanned and saw only a blueish-grey-haired figure sitting at the bar a drink in his hand. The pinky finger not touching the cup.

Soon the black mist figure appeared behind the bar, "Would you like something to drink?" Kurogiri asked Hood.

"I'm good," Hood stated as he scanned the bar.

The figure sitting at the bar turned to Hood a wide grin on his dried-out face. "Welcome Red Hood, my name is Tomura Shigaraki, and I would like to formally invite you to the League of Villains." The now named Shigaraki said in a dry scratchy voice.

"Not much of a League if it's just the two of you," Hood said in a monotone as he crossed his arms.

"We are currently looking for recruits. You are one of the first we searched for though." Kurogiri responded.

Hood just nodded at that, "Why do you want me though, you know I kill villains right?"

Shigaraki just chuckled at that. "You kill those pathetic NPCs, yes, but you aren't a total goody, goody as well. You control all the drug trade in the area you deem your territory and kill all those who step out of line. No Hero does that, and no Vigilante gets into the drug trade."

"Well, you ain't wrong. I kill the filth doing what heroes won't. The ones I kill deserve what's coming to them. Hurting women and children like they do, the scum of the earth." Hood said with a little heat.

With that TV and the other end of the bar turned on, the only thing visible was the words 'Sound Only' and a smooth baritone voice came through the television.

"Ah, so you see yourself as a protector. Protecting those you see as helpless and killing those who dare harm them."

"You're damn right. Those are the lowest of the low. You want to fight to the death than find a guy willing to do that. To attack woman and children because they are easy targets are the worst. I have no problems killing those who stand opposite of me. Even if they are a woman, but if you are abusing people, you don't deserve mercy."

The voice behind the TV screen began to chuckle and turned into a burst of full-blown laughter. "Those are some good ideals to live by, I followed some similar ones in my day. You even similarly gained your territory as I did back in my youth."

"I see…" Hood said he was confused by this voice. They were talking about things that aren't in the history books. He began to wonder who this voice was.

"He is acting you did Sensei?" Shigaraki asked the voice.

"Indeed Tomura, I recommend he joins the League. You could always use a Lieutenant after all." The voice dubbed Sensei spoke.

"So you in?" Shigaraki asked.

"What's the plan or goal for this organization?" Hood asked.

"Simple, we are going to kill All Might." Shigaraki finished with a wide crazed grin.

Izuku widened his eyes behind his mask, which seemed…..difficult to say the least. He used to idolize All Might, but when he saw all the hero work All Might didn't tackle and basically become a larger-than-life avatar for justice, his idolization became contempt. This untouchable man barely helped the little guys. Taking almost everything as a joke with that smile of his. So, he truly would care if they killed him. But the man had unparalleled strength.

"How?" is all Izuku asked with a tone laced with curiosity. The man kept his grin.

"We have a weapon that can match the fool. You'll see it when we have our attack."

Hood nodded. "When is the attack?"

"We are going to attack UA where All Might is going to be teaching," Shigaraki stated. "We got the class schedule of one of the classes, and that class plus All Might are going to be in an isolated area in a few days. We will strike then."

"You aren't going to kill the kids, are you?" Hood asked with an edge in his voice.

The TV voice spoke then, "We will try to make those casualties a minimum, but as you stated they stand against us."

Izuku narrowed his eyes behind his helmet. "Fine," he growled out. "But I won't let it happen if I see it happen in front of me."

"Fair enough young one."

Hood sighed out a little bit, "Fine, I'm in, contact me through Giran again when you have a date and time just pick me up an hour before we launch the attack from the same roof as tonight."

"By the way young one," The voice from the TV spoke. "What is your quirk? That is the question everyone in the underworld has been wondering."

Hood looked at the TV, "I ain't got one. I fight and I am quirkless." He lied through his teeth. He wanted no one to know what quirk it was. After being in the underworld for so long, he had heard rumors. Of the King of the Underworld, the Symbol of Evil. All for One, the being who could take and give quirks away like candy. They were only stories, but all stories had sprinkles of truth in them. Izuku now believed he was with people that worked directly for the man. So, he definitely didn't want to give away what his quirk was.

"Oh? You are quirkless? Fascinating, you are a special individual indeed, Red Hood." The voice said.

"Thanks, now Kurogiri was it? Take me back." Izuku said.

The mist man nodded and formed a portal next to Izuku, who just walked through it. He appeared on the roof they took him from. He glanced back and the portal disappeared. Izuku gave a low whistle, what he could do with that quirk. He started making back his way to his penthouse. He may have to do something to keep the children's casualties to a minimum. But since the league is so new and not many would put the connection between them and All for One the best, they may get is fodder.

He may have to send a coded message to a rat.

Nezu was looking at his three-monitor setup. Each showing something completely different and unrelated to its sibling monitors. One of them pinged, he turned to his far-left monitor which was monitoring (no pun intended) a few of the underworld's forums.

The rat saw it was an anonymous coded message, it was addressed to a being called The Super Rat. Nezu grinned at this, someone knew he was watching and was sending something directly to him.

He opened the message and saw the coded text. His mind quickly picking out patterns in the text translating those to the proper characters. After 10 minutes of translating, he was left with the true message:

Prepare, attack imminent, be ready. Symbol killer.

Nezu stared at this message. His High Specs mind going in a thousand directions at once understanding this message.

This message was a warning from someone who knew of an attack that will be happening soon. Since it was sent directly to him it must be one on UA, and the last two words gave him the slightest traces of fear. Symbol killer. That can only mean something that could possibly kill All Might. It was a hard thought to believe it came seven years ago. But this came at a time six years ago All Might did almost die and now has a crippling injury.

They had become lax in recent years, and it looks like they were going to need to overhaul every security measure they had. Nezu was thankful for this message. The sender probably saved many students with this one coded message, and probably at great risk to themselves. He would be sure to thank them if he ever met them.

Three days later Izuku was back on the one roof and waiting for his pickup. Helmet on his hip as he smokes a cigarette. He hears the portal and quickly flicks the bud away and pulls his helmet back on. He nods to Kurogiri as he walks through the portal. He appears in front of a large group of villains. All freeze when they see him.

"Ha, they are frightened by you I see." A voice said to Izuku's left. He turned to see Shigaraki covered in hands. He was standing next to what the best description on would be a monster. The nearly 7ft tall black-skinned beaked behemoth staring blankly ahead.

"Is that the weapon?" Hood asked as he pointed to the monster.

Shigaraki gained a grin, "Yep, this right here is Nomu, and it will be killing All Might today."

Izuku just nodded. "So be it."

Kurogiri appeared next to Tomura, "It's time Tomura."

Shigaraki nodded. The portal opened and he and the Nomu walked through, Izuku was right after him. The other villains followed after but with a healthy distance between them and Red Hood.

When Izuku walked through the gate he appeared on the concrete floor of a very large building. As he took in his surroundings, he saw the different environments this large facility had.

"All Might isn't here, the schedule said he would be here." Shigaraki started ranting.

Hood looked up to where Shigaraki was and saw the 1-A class as well as two other teachers. His adoptive father Eraser Head and the rescue hero Thirteen. There was one familiar face along with the class though. Blonde he had long forgotten about that he used to babysit for. Katsuki Bakugo, a kid had a serious attitude problem, and by the looks of it, the attitude had only gotten worse.

Many were looking down at the group of villains and Hood could see many were recognizing him. He smirked a little under his helmet.

Soon Eraser Head jumped down the steps taking out three of the fodder in a couple of seconds.

Izuku quickly rushed forward and threw a straight punch at his old mentor. The man quickly blocked it and soon they clashed. They both jumped back a few feet.

"All of you stay back," Hood growled out. "He is mine."

He quickly rushed forward again, this time Aizawa tried to use his scarf when it wrapped around his left arm, the second it became taunt Hood pulled out one of these knives from the holster and slashed the scarf. It quickly tore through, and he rushed again aiming to stab him.

Aizawa quickly jumped back dodging the stab, but another villain quickly came to attack him.

BANG

The attacking villain quickly went limp as they fell with a chunk of their head missing.

All eyes turned to Hood, who was holding one of his pistols in his left hand the barrel smoking.

"What did I say?" he asks all too calmly. "I said he was mine. Take that as a warning to the rest of you. You get in my way; you end up like him." He pointed the gun at the dead villain.

The rest of the villains took a few steps back not wanting to accidentally get in the way. Shigaraki's eye twitched but didn't say a word, as he would have done the same thing, so he just let it go knowing that the killed man was only fodder anyway.

Hood holstered his gun, and twirled his knife, "So Eraser Head, where were we?"

Eraser Head fell back into his stance. He kept using his quirk and came to the realization that Red Hood wasn't using it to fight. He then deactivated it, not wanting to get dry eye during the fight.

Red Hood sheathed the knife and got into his own stance. The two quickly charged at each other. They punched, blocked, parried, and dodged in quick successions. Red Hood had the advantage of strength and explosive power. Throwing stronger punches and kicks as the two danced around each other. Aizawa on the other hand was faster and more agile in their fighting. Quickly avoiding the hits and throwing quick ones of his own.

Aizawa has a disadvantage though because he couldn't aim for the head with any of his punches. The helmet gave the Hood perfect protection.

Aizawa soon discovered something as they fought, Red Hood wasn't going for any lethal blows and wasn't using his blades.

'He doesn't want to kill me,' Aizawa thought to himself as they continue to battle.

"This is getting boring," Shigaraki whined. "Hood! Just kill him already!"

Hood jumped back putting some distance between him and Aizawa. He then turned his head in Shigaraki's direction.

"Why would I do that? I haven't had a good opponent in ages." Hood revealed. "Seriously everyone I have either fought or killed in this last year has been nothing but weaklings."

Shigaraki huffed at that. Something to his left though caught his attention. "Fine, then I will get to have some fun myself though." He then rushed off in that direction.

Hood looked ahead of him to see what he was running at and saw students bobbing the water next to the plaza. Hood quickly unholstered his gun and took aim. Aizawa thinking he was going to shoot the students tried to lunge forward but was stopped by the sound of four quick gunshots.

He turned to see his murdered students but saw that they were fine and the hand-covered villain cradling the arm that was outstretched and glaring back at hood.

"I warned you if I could stop the students from being murdered I would. They are off-limits. You want to kill All Might, fine I don't care. But those kids weren't preparing to fight you so leave them alone."

Aizawa's eyes widened. Their plan was to kill All Might. But Hood is only here it seems to protect the students he can.

Soon the doors blasted open. And standing there was an angry looking All Might. He was gone in a blur and every villain was quickly on the ground unconscious. Hood was also on the ground, but he was cursing.

All Might appeared beside Aizawa 5 seconds later, Aizawa glanced up and saw the three from the water on top of the stairs.

"I'm sorry I'm late Aizawa! But don't worry I'm here now, you should go look for the other students."

Aizawa was about to respond when Red Hood slowly rose to his feet.

"The fuck man, you just punch every unfamiliar face." Hood groaned out.

Before All Might could move again, Aizawa stopped him. "Did you only come to protect the students you could?"

Hood stared at him for a moment. He gave the slightest of nods.

"Then why did you fight me the entire time?"

Aizawa could tell the man was giving him a deadpan from behind the helmet.

"Who else would they listen to after they were saved?" he asked sarcastically.

Aizawa's eyes widened under his goggles for a second. He then glanced at All Might "Leave him be looks like he is just here to observe more than anything."

All Might look between the two and quickly nodded and launched towards Shigaraki and the monster. Hood turned his attention to them. Hands in his pockets.

"You should go help your other students." He blankly said watching All Might trying to fight the monster.

"If All Might's here that means teachers are on their way. I couldn't get to them all by myself promptly. It wouldn't be rational. I believe in my class; they can handle this." Aizawa said with conviction.

Hood gave no response. As he watched the fight. Soon the All Might tried to superplex the monster it seemed to grab onto a spot on All Might's side that caused the man to flinch. Izuku caught it and he narrowed his eyes. All Might seemed to have an injury.

Soon the monster was frozen, and an explosion was heard as Bakugo tackled the warper and a two-tone haired student appeared with half covered in ice. A redhead appeared next to Aizawa.

Shigaraki started to freak out and scratch his neck widely. He then leveled a glare at Red Hood.

"ARE YOU GOING TO GET INVOLVED!" He screeched at the vigilante and villain killer.

Before Hood could respond, All Might and the Nomu went back at each other. All attention turned to them. All Might quickly overwhelm the monster and soon sent it through the ceiling.

All Might began to steam, and Hood noticed. He could see that All Might's muscles seemed to have shrunk slightly as well. Izuku's eyes blew wide open behind his helmet. All Might was getting weaker. He had an injury that was debilitating enough to cause the invulnerable man to become vulnerable again. The Symbol of Peace was becoming weaker.

Soon gunshots rang out Tomura was hit in the other arm and leg, by the time Kurogiri swirled around the villain. Hood glanced up and saw the other teachers were there.

He looked around and saw the villains were coming, he quickly drew his weapons and started unloading on the laying villains. The students and teachers were shocked by this action as Red Hood mercilessly cut down those villains. By the time he needed to reload he had become surrounded by the faculty members of UA.

Red Hood holstered his guns. He took in the teachers. He had met them all before, in a different life.

"Well, looks like I am surrounded," Hood said amusement bleeding into his voice. The teachers were caught off guard by his nonchalant behavior.

"Don't worry, this fodder is still alive, I just didn't want them to get back up right now." Red Hood stated. The teachers looked around and saw he spoke the truth.

"Mr. Red Hood," Nezu spoke as he jumped off the shoulder he was riding on.

"Drop the Mr and Red shit when you are talking to me, Super Rat." Red Hood replied. A weird tone bleeding into his voice when he said super rat.

Nezu's smile grew slightly. "So, you were the one to send the coded message." Hood just nodded. "Spread out, go find the rest of the students," Nezu ordered.

The other teachers hesitated for a moment, but if Nezu thought he would be fine with Red Hood then he would be. They all quickly took off in different directions.

Hood looked directly at Nezu, "I know you have your questions, but I will answer them all and more. Later with all the teachers present, as well as a Police detective."

Nezu studied the one-man army and gave a nod.

Soon the teachers reappeared with the remaining students. The group made it up to the rest of the students at the door. The newly formed large group could hear the police sirens. Officers came running and were pointed to where the villains were.

The police officers look at Hood warily but kept their distance. The students thought were giving him varied looks. Many of curiosity, some of the fear, and a few of caution.

While the students started to give their accounts to the police, Hood's attention wandered. He was thinking of the events that had just taken place in the last hour. The villains will be that he was certain of it. That wasn't the biggest news though, that belonged to the fact All Might was weakening. Society would collapse if he were to die in the field.

He was soon shaken from his thoughts when a police detective moved to him. Izuku appraised him and instantly who it was. Naomasa Tsukauchi is one of the best detectives currently in the force. His quirk was perfect for his line of work. A lie detector quirk. Izuku respected him for his work.

"It's your turn now to give your account Mr. Red Hood," Tsukauchi spoke.

Hood turned to give the man his full attention. "I'll do that when I brief the teachers, so in like an hour."

Tsukauchi gives him a narrowed look but then nods. 'Quirk must have said I was telling the truth.'

Izuku turned and saw the students around Aizawa. He was telling them all something. Izuku started heading in their direction. Police and teachers watched him. When he was close enough he got the attention of all the students.

"You all did quite well. I can say when you graduate, you will succeed in the field. Only if you keep your wits about you though." Hood praised.

Many actually preened but the praise of the most dangerous vigilante. But one scoffed loudly.

Izuku turned his head and saw that it was Bakugo who scoffed. The blonde giving him the stink eye.

Izuku smirked behind his helmet. "Ara Katsuki, your attitude hasn't changed in the slightest," Izuku spoke in a slightly condescending tone.

This got Bakugo to give the masked vigilante his full attention.

"How the fuck do you know my name?" he growled out.

"Oh? Do you not remember your favorite person?" Hood asked. This had the attention of all the students, teachers and Tsukauchi, and some other officers nearby.

"I have never met you before dumbass."

"Now that is a lie, it has been a few years, but we used to be so close."

'half-truth' Tsukauchi thought as he listened to them.

"Well?! Who the fuck are you?"

"Are you saying you don't remember me? Your favorite babysitter?"

Bakugo looked confused for a moment before he stiffed, complexion quickly paling. He even began to shake a little bit.

"How?" He whispered.

"I'll tell you in due time. You are the third person to know who I am beneath this helmet. Not like they would believe you if you told them." He finished with a chuckle. He turned a walked away towards Nezu who was scanning Hood trying to solve the puzzle.

An hour later in the conference room of UA the teachers sat around the table. This included All Might. Tsukauchi and Hood stood at one end of the table. All eyes were on Red Hood though. He had finished explaining all that he knew from the group. Including the hidden man on the TV.

All Might was trembling when he heard that.

"All Might." Red Hood spoke. The skinny man looked at the vigilante.

"Is this man, All for One?" Hood asked.

All Might flinched and that gave the answer he needed.

"Now then," Nezu cut in, "I think it's time we learn something about you now Hood."

"Oh? And what is that.?"

"Who are you beneath that mask."

Red Hood chuckled slightly at that. "A dead man."

"But since you all won't believe me how about I show you. After all most of my family is here."

His words confused the Heroes, eyes to Tsukauchi to see if he was telling the truth and a nod from the man-made them turn their attention back to him.

"After all my father, uncle, aunt, and the former teacher are here.

That made Nezu gasp as all eyes turned to him. A look of horror on the chimera's face.

"Impossible." He breathed out.

"Oh, it is quite possible Sensei. I am the proof of it after all."

Aizawa turned to him, "What are you on about?"

"Ah, Aizawa, always the rational one."

Red Hood brought his hands up to his hood and flipped it off and grasp the helmet on both sides. He pulled it off his head. Showing his face to a group for the first time in 3 years.

He got multiple reactions. Many of the teachers recognized him with looks of shock on their faces. All Might had one of confusion. Hizashi was staring at him tears already coming out of his eyes as a sob escaped him. Midnight had a hand covering her mouth, tears spilling out of her eyes as well.

Aizawa tough sat ramrod straight. His mouth agape in shock in awe.

"I-izuku?" he asked barely a whisper.

The face of Izuku Aizawa looked back, he was a few years older and more mature. All baby fat is gone; his fluffy hair cut into a crew cut with a streak of white on his bangs. He had a slight condensing look on his face.

"It's been a while, Father."

AN:

Hello, this may not be my most popular story, but I had a huge wave of inspiration to write for this one. I found some Red Hood videos on Youtube and recently increased my comic collection with Red Hood at the forefront of my purchases. With all that Red Hood media, the idea for the third chapter came flowing in and I just had to write it. I don't know which story I will update next but thank you for enjoying this one.
