And here it is sorry for the chapter being short I had a hard time coming up with how to make the days the twins spend worthwhile but I promise the rest of the story will entertain, for now, I hope you enjoy it.
The next day after the scavenger hunt, we see Dipper wake up one morning to find Mabel on the floor with Waddles by her side, surrounded by drawing utensils, stickers glitter, and a small pile of sheets of paper.
"Mabel, what are you up to?" Ask Dipper Mabel, not even taking her eyes off the sheet of paper she's drawing on, simply replies "Not much, just having an off day with Waddles, I mean after that scavenger hunt yesterday, I figured you could use a break plus I never really had a do-nothing day with Waddles."
"Is this what you really want to do all day with Waddles?" Ask Dipper, Mabel simply nods as a reply while not taking her eyes off her drawings adding in "feel free to join in."
Dipper decides to do just that and lay on the floor next to his sister, then he takes a look at what it is she is drawing, which happens to be Waddles in heaven where the person letting him through happens to be a cat. Mabel always has a fascination with cats if not sparkly stuff or stickers or even sweaters.
Next Dipper begins to notice another paper underneath her current drawing that looked to be a title written in red crayon, it read: What I want to do with Waddles for each day starting tomorrow "Mabel" asks Dipper "whats the other paper for?"
"I'm making a list" answers Mabel "we only have five days left right? So I figured I'd write down what I want to do for each day" Dipper quickly scans the list, and says "and you expect to do all of that each day?"
Mabel nonchalantly responds "no silly, I expect US to do all of this for each and every day together, until...Well, you know."
Dipper slightly is fascinated with Mabel's proposal he would then comment "well I hope we can pull off each task Mabel."
"Let's not focus on that now," says Mabel "I want to focus on my lazy day today and I think you should too."
Dipper could not help but giggle at what Mabel had suggested to him, while his twin sister started to work on another drawing.
Afterward, he picks himself up off the floor and goes to the Gift Shop, leaving Mabel to her drawings for the rest of her day.
That night when the two were getting ready for bed, we see Mabel making something before going to bed.
"Hey, Mabel what you working on?" Ask Dipper, Mabel simply presents to her a simple box covered in stickers and crayon doodles, and inside is a large mess of photos and pictures of Waddles either alone or with his beloved owner.
Dipper looks on in awe "that looks good Mabel" says Dipper after thanking her brother, Mabel proceeds to put it away before she went to bed wishing him a good night.
After a minute or so, Dipper slowly falls asleep as well and whispers to his sister "goodnight Mabel."
