AN: Whelp it's not a big surprise there are so few reviews/comments. KHR is such an underrated anime/manga sure it had issues near the end but still it's up there with my favorites. I just hope you all are enjoying reading this as much as I enjoy writing it.

Chapter 4.

Musutafu

Outside of the forest near Musutafu the ground shook making the average passer-by wonder if a small earthquake just hit. It shook again and again and again causing everyone to run in fear of a villain attack. Inside the forest was another story, a young boy with unruly green hair and a flame on his forehead was forced to blast yet another rock with his quirk while dodging the occasional sneak attack.

"Come on Reborn isn't this enough training for the day?" The young boy asked. He reached in his pocket and got a pill he was going to ingest until a small toddler snatched it.

"Dame-Izuku this is punishment for failing the test I gave you. You will only get to use this when I say you can. Until then focus on staying in your Hyper state. Hopefully, you'll learn something and be able to enter it without assistance. I expect real progress on that front by the end of your first semester understood." The toddler said after sweating his hand away with a flyswatter the quickly shifted back into a lizard after.

"Damn you Reborn!" Izuku screamed after dodging a spiked hammer.

Back at the residence that the tenth generation of Vongola shared Itsuka Kendo was looking all around. She opened every door twice checked in every closet but couldn't find what she was looking for. On her third go-around, her friend Setsuna Tokage stopped her.

"That is enough! We are getting annoyed by you barging into our rooms. What the heck are you looking for woman?" She was getting worried her friend was going stir crazy by not being in a life-or-death scenario. She was not expecting the answer she got.

"Izuku. He's been missing for most of the day. I'm just wondering if he's been hiding from us again like after we got back remember?" Setsuna did remember and it hurt. She should have spent more time with him but she was so happy she was finally back in the present and people weren't hunting them.

Flashback

"Where is he?!/Am I a bad right hand is that why he's punishing me?!/ Ma Ma Gokudera I don't think it's that. Though we should find him. / Izu where are you?!/ The boss wouldn't abandon us would he?/ Maybe he's doing some manly training?/ I doubt that. When we do find him I'm going to give him a piece of my mind for worrying all of us./ Man this is so not cool Izuku just talk with us...please." They had been trying to talk with him for days but he kept avoiding them. Constantly coming up with excuses to leave. They just wanted to know what was going on.

"I'm going to call Tsuna he's the only other friend Izuku has. He's got to know something." Setsuna said pulling out her phone. "Hey, Tsuna it's Setsuna Tokage. Do you have any Idea where Izuku is?"

"Hello. 'It's Kyoka I'll be right back.'" She heard Tsuna leave whatever room he was in.

"What no it's Setsuna, what's going on?" She was confused she had great reception.

"No, no. I know what today is Kyoka. I'm sorry I can't come over my mom has a guest over who's working through some issues." Tsuna wasn't making any sense.

"What the hell are you on about I'm Setsuna, no I don't want you to come over, and I'm looking for Izuku!" Her patience was wearing thin.

"He's been here for a while. No, I don't know how long he will stay maybe we can have dinner at my place?" It all clicked for her.

"Totally I'll see you soon bye." She hung up and turned to see the others staring at her. "He's either at Tsunas or Tsuna is trying to cheat on Kyoka. Either way, I'm going there, either to catch Izu or to beat the shit out of Tsuna."

FB End

They did in fact find Izuku there that day. He was afraid they thought he was a villain for killing Byakuran and that they would turn their backs on him. It still hurt her that he thought that way of himself from time to time. It took time and an impassioned speech from Itskua to get him back to his goofy confident self that Setsuna had fallen for. If only Izu would look at me like he does Itsuka. Maybe she'd ask Haru how she got Tsuna to also date her.

"Oh um no it's nothing like that," Setsuna said sheepishly as Itsuka was seconds away from slapping her.

"Then where is he?" Itsuka still sounded worried.

"Well, you know how all the UA letters came earlier?" Itsuka nodded. "Well, it seems Reborn gave Izuku a test to get first on all the tests or else."

"But he did get first on the written and physical," Itsuka replied slightly confused.

"True. But not in Reborns eyes. He only got first in the physical thanks to rescue points. So Reborn decided to take Izuku out for um a bit of 'Training'." Everyone knew how harsh the toddler was when it came to training so no more was needed to be said. Itsuka nodded then started to think.

"Um, are you ok Its?" Setsuna tried using the nickname her friend hated.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Hey, want to try making something for him as we did back in the base?" Itsuka enlarged her hand and chopped Setsuna on the head.

"OH, THAT! Yeah sounds like fun." Setsuna agreed before rubbing her head.

"By the way did you see anything interesting in Gokudera's or Yamamoto's rooms?" Setsuna asked while pulling out a pan in the kitchen.

"Setsuna you've got to leave those two alone. Whatever they do in the privacy of their own rooms is their business." Itsuka reprimanded her friend.

"Oh come on! Something is going on between those two I just know it!"

Hours flew by and Setsuna decided to nap on the couch while they waited. Finally, the front door opened reviling a battered and bruised Izuku who promptly fell face first on the couch without looking. The couch felt weird he didn't remember it being so lumpy. He opened his eyes to see a blushing Setsuna but was pulled into a hug before he could get up.

"Shh. You've had a hard day it seems. You need to relax, that means ol Reborn can't get you here." There wasn't a hint of her usually teasing in what she said.

"B-b-b-but I an-a-and y-you… couch and uhhhh ummmm soft…" He couldn't form a coherent sentence to save his life it seemed.

"Don't worry I get it you're exhausted so just rest dinners almost ready." He felt his eyes grow heavy and close as she stroked his back. Setsuna shifted and laid his head in her lap and waited.

Itsuka walked in holding a pot followed by Yamamoto who had come down to make some sushi. She raised her eyebrow at the scene she was looking at. Izuku looked at peace and Setsuna looked like a loving mother taking care of her child. Why is my chest so tight all of a sudden?

"Long day I presume?" Yamamoto asked and Setsuna nodded before shaking Izuku gently.

"Time to get up sleepy. The food is ready." Izuku groggily sat up looking around before his face went redder than Kirishima's hair and shot to the other side of the couch. Itsuka giggled at Izuku's goofy behavior, he looked like a kid who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

"There's Katsudon and sushi here so dig in. The others went out to eat since they all got into 1-A and Chrome is with Ken and Chikusa so I guess it's the 1-B gang hang out time." Itsuka proudly stated.

"So Izuku how was training? Reborn didn't go too far did he?" Yamamoto asked taking a bite of sushi.

"It was rough He had me training to retain my hyper mode so I could get a feel for it to activate it without pills." Izuku was scarfing down a second bowl of Katsudon. Yamamoto blinked he didn't even see him eat the first one.

"Sounds rough. Itsuka went a little stir crazy there for a second." Setsuna chuckled taking a sip of tea.

"Hmm." Izuku stopped mid-bite and looked at his not-so-secret crush before swallowing. "Why?"

"I had no idea you went out to train." She looked embarrassed. "I thought it was like the time you h-hid o-out at Tsuna's." Izuku sighed he still felt bad about that. He was just so scared his friends would leave him after what happened he still hated himself for not being able to save Uni or find an anon lethal way to stop Byakuran.

"Sorry about that I should have left a note. I would never try to hide from you all again. You're all my friends and people I'd be happy to call my f-family." He blushed a little at that thinking about being in a family with Itsuka or Setsuna. Yamamoto noticed Izuku's eyes shift between the two girls and chuckled to himself. This will be an interesting year.

"T-thank y-you." Both the girls were blushing slightly having a similar fantasy as Izuku.

AN: Next chapter will be the official start to the UA stuff. Gokudera replaced Izuku in 1-A and Yamamoto and Izuku replaced Hiryu Rin and Kosei Tsuburaba in 1-B. Hiryu Rin and Kosei Tsuburaba got into UA but in general education. I'm hinting at a ship for two of the guardians right now, if you guys want it then I'll place it in but if not it will just be a fantasy Setsuna has. Part of me wants to make Monoma Neito the manga exclusive Naito Longchamp
