Gabriel was in his private quarters minding his own business and doing his usual paperwork, until he heard his work phone ring.

"This is Archangel Gabriel." He answered with a yawn

"Gabriel, it's Michael."

"Michael, it's good to hear from you how's it been? "

"There's no time for chitchat, this is urgent. "

"Never heard you this stressed in a while. So, what seems to be the problem? "

"I think it's better if I show you. I'm uploading the video to you now."

As Gabriel looked at his computer, what he saw shocked him. A singular demon was able to beat a full squad of angels by himself in less than half a minute. But what really caught his attention was the red lightning.

"Why ask me? "Gabriel asked Michael

"You're the only person I know that is remotely close to Lucifer. And we both know he hates me."

Michael took a few seconds to think about it and ultimately decided to agree "Fine, I'll talk to him."

"Thank you, I owe you one." Michael said before ending the call.

Gabriel started to dial another number hastily, with the last 3 digits being 666

A few seconds passed before someone picked up on the other end "Gabriel, what do I owe this pleasure from my dear brother?" A voice answered, in a sarcastic tone.

"Luci, I've seen you're as sarcastic as ever."

"I've told you to not call me that." Lucifer answered in an annoyed tone.

"Nevermind that, I need to show you something."

"Oh? And what is so important tha-"

"Red lightning." Gabriel answered bluntly.

A few seconds passed with no one talking until Lucifer spoke up. "I assure you this isn't my doing."

" I was hoping not, that's why I was hoping we could meet in person to discuss this."

"Are you sure? On this day?"

"I'll just open a portal to your private quarters."

"Fine, but we should hurry before anyone finds out."

"All right, I'll be there in a minute."

Lucifer was walking in circles around his quarters, waiting for his brother, when he heard a loud whoosh on his to his left he saw his brother "Ahhh, you've arrived."

"Hello brother, it's good to see you."

"You don't mean that."

"You're right, I don't." Gabriel answered bluntly. "Anyway, let us commence our meeting."

"Ahh, yes, yes, let us first sit down." Lucifer ushered to a nearby set of chairs and a table. Gabriel followed Lucifer to the table and took a seat. "Tea? "

"You're not trying to poison me are you? "Gabriel asked jokingly "If not, sure"

With a snap of Lucifer's finger, 2 short demons entered through the main entrance, both of them looking very similar with red horns, dragon-like wings, hooves and both of them wearing a suit. They each carried a tray, one of them with a kettle and cups, and the other with a plate of biscuits.

With haste, the 2 demons poured a cup of tea for Lucifer and Gabriel, and placed the plate of biscuits between them. "Thank you, Razzle, Dazzle, you may leave now. "And with a nod, they immediately left to where they came from.

"I thought you didn't want anyone to see us together ?"Gabriel said while picking up his tea.

"Don't worry, they're some of my most loyal servants. They'll keep their mouths shut. " Lucifer answered nonchalantly.

"All right, back to business. Red lightning, I thought only you could have made it? "

"I think it's better if you showed me who or what made it. "

With a nod, Gabriel brought out his phone and opened a video and showed it to Lucifer .Lucifer watched the video, taking mental notes, observing every little detail as the video continued.

Once it ended, Lucifer sat up straight, looked at his brother and bluntly said " I have no idea who that is. "

With a groan, Gabriel placed his phone back into his pocket and leaned back into his chair. Sitting back up, he asked his brother "Do you have any guesses? "

"Not really, no. " When suddenly Lucifer thought of something "Wait, the time stamp on the video was 18:14 right? At around 17 :40, I thought I saw a large lightning bolt striking down all the way on the other side of the city. At first I thought it was a bunch of exterminators targeting a single spot and since my windows were red, I didn't know that the lightning bolt was red."

"So what do you think we should do?"

"I suggest we hunt him down." Lucifer answered nonchalantly.

A few seconds passed before Gabriel spoke up "And how do you propose we do that?"

"Put up an anonymous bounty. A million, so more people are willing to take it. And if no one is able to take him down, I'll use my own guards, disguised as mercenaries, to ambush him while he's occupied."

"So when should we put it up?"

"Definitely not today. Maybe right after the extermination so more people are willing to do it to fix their damages."

"What do you think I should do?"

Lucifer took a few seconds to think before coming up with a backup plan "Form a squad of some of your best exterminators as a backup plan. If my squad fails, you should be able to pick up where mine left off, and finish him."

"Alright, this should conclude our business today, I should be heading back. If you need anything, you know my phone number Lucifer." Gabriel said as he stood and opened a portal, going through it.

As Gabriel left through the portal, Lucifer brought up his phone and spoke into it. "Did you get everything?"

"Yes sir. We also have reports from our spies that the target is heading to Goetia Mansion."

"Thank you Lucas, make sure to have the spies keep tabs on him . Oh, and you can take the rest of the day off."

"Thank you sir." And with that, Lucifer ended the call.

I had to restart this chapter as I forgot one important detail from the previous one
