Chapter Nine: A Gwent Party

Rem get up after a good night's sleep with Nick, she looks at Nick who is sleeping but at the same time she has one thing which is curious, she pushes Nick's face with her finger to see if he is a fragile sleep, he does not not wake up then she moves to Nick's right body to examine something because when Rem was young Nick had a scar on the bottom of his coats when he was young, Rem lifted the leather armor then she saw the famous scar that Nick had shown when he was young, Rem would have recognized this scar on a thousand others, for Rem the doubt is no longer his really his childhood friend who has become the man she loves.

Then Rem heard something fall from Nick's bag, she got up to put it away and noticed that its some kind of collectable card with monsters, people, soldiers and even very revealing women.

"Its very rude to dig into other people's business." Nick's voice said, Rem turned around raising his hands to say.

"Rem is sorry she wanted to put her deck of cards back in her bag but I wanted to see more." Said Rem, Nick looks at the cards Rem had in his hand.

"Its my Gwent card games that comes from my country." Said Nick

"A card game?" Rem asks curiously

"Yes two player face off with the fraction of his choice and then fight for the victory." Said Nick

"Can you teach Rem to play gwent?" Asking Rem, Nick shrug his shoulders to say.

"If you want but for now you have to go to work, I have to do my security check." Said Nick, Rem nods her head then she prepares to leave for her room but when opening the door Ram was there with a fist raised to knock, seeing his sister alone with him give Nick a dark look.

"Rem what are you doing here?" Ram said darkly looking at Nick.

"Rem just wanted to wake Nick-kun up to prepare his Nee-sama day for him." Said Rem, she looks at Nick which is hard to see if its true or not especially with her outfit but Rem's face says she is a bit embarrassed, Ram sighs then she says.

"Rem will change you I want was talking to him alone with sparrow." Ram said.

"I don't know if its just cute or insulting." Said Nick

"Depends on you." Said Ram looking at Rem.

"Go now Rem, have a big day." Said Ram, his sister nods her head and then leaves for her room.

"Now are you alone what do you want to tell me?" Said Nick

"..." Ram approaches Nick with a dark face then she gently raises her hand, for Nick she prepares to hit Nick so he closes his eyes waiting for the blow but instead of a slap she puts down her corn. on the left cheek to kiss the right cheek, Nick was shocked as Ram the coldest girl kissed his cheek, Ram pulling away to say.

"Thanks for saving my sister." Ram said warmly. Nick shakes her in disapproval to say.

"A handshake would have been enough never to do that again." Nick says leaving his room.

In the kitchen

Rem start making breakfast but she had something to bother Rem, her sister has the kitchen to prepare lunch then she decides to take the lead.

"Nee-sama Rem has a question for you." Said Rem, who stopped making lunch.

"Yes Rem?" Ram said wondering what his little sister wanted to know.

"And are you interested in Nick-kun?" Asking Rem, Ram wonders for his sister believes this sort of thing.

"Remember the sight of a kiss on Nick-kun's cheek?" Asking Rem, Ram was surprised Rem was disturbed by the gesture but she smiled to say.

"No I have no interest in sparrow." Ram says, but Rem isn't convinced.

"So why do you call him a sparrow?" Ask Rem.

"Because I find who has a sparrow brain." Said Ram with a laugh, Rem having heard enough then she continues to cook then she says.

"Rem just wanted to know, oh Rem is invited to play a card game with Nick-kun." Rem said but Ram sees something fishy about his invitation.

"Can I come and play?" Ask Ram.

"Yes of course Rem will be glad you come." Rem said happily.

Later after the day of work and finish.

Nick prepares the gwent card which will play with playing with Rem, Nick always takes the monster fraction because the witcher are considered as monsters.

"Nick-kun." Said Rem happily, he looks towards Rem but she is not alone as she is accompanied by Ram who looks boringly at him.

"I don't get along seeing you Ram." Said Nick

"I wanted to see the famous games you offered to my sister." Ram said

"Ses Rem who wanted but you are there you want to join us?" Ask Nick

"Why not." Ram said with a look that said "I'm going to defeat you".

"Raven-kun?" Said the voice of another sharp-eared silver-haired girl.

"Lady Emillia? What are you doing here?" Ask Nick

"I finished my paperwork for the day and you?" Ask Emillia

"Have played a card game." Nick said simply.

"Really !? Can I join you?" Asking Emillia with starry eyes. Nick looks at the twins, Ram shrugs his shoulders and Rem nods.

"Alright Lady Emillia you can take a seat." Said Nick, she nods her head and then sits down next to Nick.

"Well here are the rules ( Note from the author, even if I played a witcher 3 I don't really understand how to play gwent so I will not detail the game and the rules, thank you for your understanding and good reading. ) did you understand? "

"Yes." Said the three girls.

"Alright we can start" Said Nick

Everyone having fun, for the moment Nick remains undefeated to finish they have made a tournament that will face Nick, Ram was against Emillia but Ram was defeated, to save his dignity she lets know that its a stupid game but Nick does know Ram.

"Its not the game, its just a tactical question." Said Nick

Ram makes a "Hmph" then she continues to watch the match, it was Rem and Emillia's turn, the match went well and her Rem won and then she had to face Nick.

"Ready for a loss." Said Nick

"Rem has learned a lot, Rem will be able to win." Said Rem, Nick had an idea.

"Why haven't you bet on something, if I win I get a week's vacation." Nick said confidently.

"But Rem doesn't know what you can offer?" Ask Rem

"Its not having to be an object, it can be a service a task that I can do for you." Said Nick

Rem begins to think, then she had an idea.

"Rem knows Rem wants Raven-kun." Rem said happily.

"I'm listening to you?" Ask Nick that will be Rem's request, She got up from her chair to join Nick then she whispered her ask Nick.

Murmur

Emillia and Ram wonder what will be Rem's request.

"Just to be on her good I think?" Ask Nick to be sure what Rem wants.

Nick begins to think while typing his index on the table.

"Very well I accept." Nick said then he got the game ready.

"Its what the request that you made of Sparrow?" Ask Ram.

"And you don't say it out loud?" Said Emillia

"Rem will tell you if Rem wins." Rem said.

And the big winner is ... REM

Nick can't believe Rem has won, which means he has to stick to his commitment.

"Well done Rem, you won, so Nick is up to the loss." Ram said.

"I have nothing to say." Nick said.

"You know what to do Raven-kun." Said Rem with a smile, Nick put his hand on his forehead to go down to the bottom then he stood up to say.

"I'll be back in an hour to get ready for later." Said Nick heading for the exit, Rem does the same, she goes to her room to get ready. Ram and Emillia followed Rem to his room then he closes the door to have a girl conversation.

"Rem, I want to know you asked?" Ram asks, starting to get impatient, Rem begins to pick out a white robe and then she heads for the bathroom.

"Rem tell me not that ..." Ram said surprised.

"What's going on Ram?" Emillia asks who is wondering. Rem come out of the bathroom with the beautiful white robe that will keep for a special occasion.

"How does Rem look like?" Ask Rem.

"You are beautiful, Rem, but why this outfit?" Emillia asks, Ram just groaned to say.

"Rem asked for a date with sparrow." Said Ram, Emillia put her hand over her mouth by surprise as Nick was very strict about women even though Emillia found Raven-kun to have a certain charm.

"Rem its true?" Ask Emillia, Rem shake his head, Ram sigh to say

"I don't know what you see in him, I wish you a good day." Ram said

"Thanks Nee-sama but don't worry about Rem, Rem knows it's going to be okay." Said Rem

Touch Touch Touch

Rem was surprised by the door, she looks at herself in the mirror to place her hair then she goes to the door then she takes a deep breath then Rem opens the door to see Nick very handsome with a white shirt. long her arms, a black jacket, black pants and black boots, she notices that Nick is hiding something behind her back.

"Raven-kun, where did this outfit come from?" Asks Emillia who really thinks the Black Crow was very handsome now.

"You can call me Nick, Nick de corvo." Said Nick, Emillia looked very happy knowing that Nick trusts her enough to give her real name. Ram walks out of the room to say.

"Didn't come back too late." Said Ram then she makes the sign "I have your eye" then she leaves. Emillia walks up to Nick to hug her arms with her breasts to say cheerfully.

"Be careful." then she leaves, Nick places his hand over her eyes to say.

"Its one of the reasons I wear a mask, oh look I bring you a blue rose" Said Nick, Rem took the rose to put it in a vase then she clung to his arms to make him think of something else.

"And you're ready for the date with Rem." Said Rem who can't help but smile.

"I want to tell you that its gonna be my first date so I don't know what to do." Said Nick, Rem had sweet eyes with a sweet smile.

"Rem too." Said Rem, Nick was surprised.

"So what do we have to do on a date?" Ask Nick

"Just hang out with Rem." Said Rem

"Oh ... ok ... let's go." Simply said Nick

At the village walk

Nick is Rem walking around the market where he has a lot of music, games, shows and children playing, seeing that Nick does not wear his leather armor he did not recognize, they are stopping at a show booth. puppet the child or children watch the show, Nick and Rem watch the show then Rem watch Nick who has a small smile that makes Rem smile

As they walk away Rem and Nick have a hypnosis show then he needed a volunteer and woe he chooses Nick, he protest you but Rem encourages him to play the game, Nick sighs then he follows the hypnotist on the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen I will I will imitate a chicken you this ready." Says the man who pulls out a silver watch then dangles in front of Nick to say

"Your eyelids are heavy you felt the fatigue in you." Said the hypnotist, Nick content to fold his arms to show him that his magic doesn't work.

"When I snap my fingers you'll turn into a chicken." Said the hypnotist

"One two Three." Said the hypnotist who snaps his fingers but Nick does not play the chicken, the audience wonders about the hypnotist.

"I wanted to tell you but I'm immune to hypnosis." Simply said Nick

"On the other hand I can do it" Said Nick who raises his hand to make the sign Axii

"You are going to imitate a chicken and talk like a chicken." Said Nick then the hypnotist starts to imitate a chicken and make the sound of a chicken, the audience starts to laugh and applaud for his demonstration, Nick slams the must for the hypnotist to regain his senses then he walks towards Rem.

Rem had taken Nick to a library to read Lugnica stories, although Nick is not fluent in the language, but he does read quite a bit of legend and History Novels.

On the walk Rem sees people dancing, Rem waves to want to dance with Nick then they dance to soft music that Rem likes to dance hang in the middle of the dance Rem put his head on Nick's chest that the world released "Awww" Then the musicians played music for the lovers, he looked into each other's eyes full of life and joy, she wanted to touch his cheek but Nick brought out of his trance then he said who was hungry.

After eating, Rem wanted to see the plains of flowers so she took Nick to see the flowers, Rem was happy to hang out with her heroes then they arrived they found the plains of flowers.

"Its magnificent." Said Nick

"Rem rests here when Rem needs to be alone." Rem said.

"He has a perfect place here." Said Nick who points the place a little lower, he goes down to the bottom then he looks at Rem to tell her to follow him, Rem shakes her head then she goes down but with a bad step she falls towards Nick who catches her before she falls on the ground, Nick has succeeded but he loses his balance and then both fall into the flower field.

"Are you okay Rem?" Asking Nick then Rem lift his head to see Nick looking at him curiously. I was red not because of her embarrassment but because of a feeling of heat in her that manifests itself.

"Uh Rem, can you move around?" Asking Nick, Rem was out of her trance then she moved around so Nick was all seated like Rem.

A few minutes to admire the landscape Rem breaks the silence.

"Nick-kun" Rem said, the witcher looking at Rem to show him who's got everything he's paying attention.

"Are you having fun with Rem?" Ask Rem.

"I have to admit, I'm having a good time with you." Nick said, lying on the ground to listen to the wind.

"So will you be ready to make another date with Rem?" Rem said hopefully, Nick knows where this kind of conversation is going.

"I'll be thinking about that." Said Nick

"Oh" Rem said hurtfully not to give a clear answer.

"It's getting late, we should be back." Said Rem, Nick get up then he walks over to the mansion

In the hallway of the mansion.

"Thanks for the date with Rem." Rem said softly.

"I'm going to go to sleep good night." Said Nick

"Good Night Nick-kun." Said Rem who goes into his room to sit on the bed then she takes a pillow to stick it on her then fall on the bed to sleep.
