Chapter Twelve: The Cult Hunt
Rem opens her eyes as the light of the sun shines on her eyes, she lifts her head to see the man that Nick de Corvos loves, Rem squares Nick's cheek with love then she gives him a little lower on the cheek then she sees the famous scar on his body that Nick suffered in his youth, Rem couldn't believe what to see, his body had suffered so much injury that some of them weren't treated so he got the infection and the scar was worse, Rem carreser Nick's chest to feel each wound then Rem notices that the weight of her bed is swinging, she looks at Nick's face which has his eyes open.
"Hi." Said Nick with a warm smile, Rem smiles then she lays her head on his love's chest, Nick strokes her head of the girl who has fallen in love but Rem breaks the silence.
"Hey now? What has become of now?" Asks Rem if he still wants Rem.
"It's up to us to decide if you still want me." Said Nick, Rem hugs Nick tightly to say.
"Rem wanna be with you forever." Said Rem, Nick smiles then he places a dab on his forehead.
"Me too I want to be with you." Said Nick, Rem smiles then she walks over to Nick's levees to kiss her but the port reopens slowly, Nick and Rem are covered to avoid showing their nudity to see Ram behind the port.
"Rem did you sleep well?" Said Ram who sees the new couple forming. Ram was shocked to see Nick with a lot of scar but she regains consciousness with a curse to say.
"SPARROW!" Screaming Ram then Rem gets up to push his twin sister out of her room.
"Nee-sama has to go, Rem will explain later." Said Rem who walks out of her room but Ram tries to get past but she fails then she closes the door afterwards and goes back to Nick to see who is sitting upside down as if he is looking at his feet, Rem comes closer to Nick to see who looks at the hood is his mask, Rem squeezes his arms then Nick says.
"There was another reason I refused your love for me." Nick said still looking at the mask, Rem nodding his head to say to continue.
"A prophet told me that the black crow will die by the hand of the person who loves, in general I kill them but when the day that you said that you love me that means that you will kill me." Nick said. Rem thought he said then she responds
"Rem has already killed the black raven Nick-kun." Said Rem, Nick looks at Rem in confusion.
"But didn't you kill me? Am I still alive?" Said Nick, Rem puts his head on his shoulder to say.
"Rem thinks that has many angles to look at in a prophecy, like your dark side was the black raven and the Nick side of corvos, now Rem thinks you need to become that dark character anymore, Rem is in love with Nick of corvos and not to the Black Crow. " Said Rem, Nick thinking then she's right, now he can become Nick de Corvos, he gently drops the mask and the hood then he turns to see Rem's sweet smile, Nick smiles then he kisses Rem tenderly.
"Thanks Rem, I promise to become the man worthy of your love." Nick said. Rem cry tears of joy, Rem never thought she would find a special person. Nick cleans up every tear with his fingertips.
"Rem don't cry I don't like to see you sad." Nick said.
"Rem is sorry but Rem can't help but have tears of joy." Said Rem
"As long as its tears of joy I promise you will never be sad again." Said Nick, Rem wiping off her last tears then she smiled to say.
"Rem says thank you." Said Rem
A few minutes later.
Nick and Rem are getting ready for the day, Nick gives a little kiss then he says.
"I have to do my service, see you later." Said Nick, Rem rattles then she goes towards the kitchen to see her sister who cut vegetables in a angry way then she sees her sister who had a colaire on the face but also red eyes.
"GIVE ME A GOOD REASON NOT TO KILL THE SPARROW." Screaming Ram, Rem smiles then she says.
"Because he's the sweet half of Rem." Rem said with a smile but she also saw that Ram had red eyes.
"Nee-sama, why do you have red eyes?" Said Rem
"Its nothing." Ram says she refuses to look at her.
"So why, don't you want to look at Rem?" Ask Rem
"Because ..." Ram said trying to hold back his tears then she let go of them all.
"BECAUSE I AM IN LOVE WITH A SPARROW." Screaming Ram in tears, Rem was shocked to see his sister so sad for a boy who treated him like nothing.

"No he's not stupid, in fact Nick was being indoctrinated by an evil person who reinforces his hatred for women." Rem said.
"So he hates women now?" Asking Ram, Rem had a sad face.
"No, he hates some woman who has hurt his life but don't worry Nee-sama, he doesn't hate and he especially doesn't see us sad." Said Rem, Ram surprised her.
"Really, doesn't he hate me after all I've done?" Said Ram surprised
"Yes, Nick-kun told Rem that his like us and our hatred for humans." Said Rem, Ram refechiser then she said.
"Thanks Rem and I congratulate you on your new relationship but if he does something wrong tell me!" Order Ram.
"Don't worry Nee-sama, Rem knows how to punish if he does something stupid." Rem said then the twins chuckled.
In the courtyard of the mansion.

In the final position of his imaginary fight Nick was breathing heavily through his mouth filled his lungs with air and the scent of white flower, sated with his results he deposited his silver sword on the ground then he wiped the sweat on his face with his hand right and he catches his black leather coat then Nick sees the maid who had a red face with sweat as if they were hot, Nick sighs in frustration then he put on his coat to continue his round with annoyance that they serve to see are half naked and he knew that Rem didn't approve of anyone seeing him like that.
In the hallway of the mansion
Nick walks into the dining room with a hungry stomach and then hears a voice of a familiar woman.
"Nick-kun can you come see me in my office?" Said Emilia.
"Of course." Said Nick then he goes to Lady Emilia's office then he answers.
"What can I do for you Lady Emilia?" Asking Nick, Emilia looks at Nick to see his face is less scary, as if a curse is on him.
"I have an important message that you must deliver to the capital and I know that you are trustworthy for this work." Said Emillia who gives the letter to him then Nick takes the letter to put it in his pocket.
"You could count on me Lady Emilia." Said Nick with a smile, Emilia feels her heart warm in Nick's smile, she walks around her office then she holds her hands to say.
"May I know what positive change you made Nick?" Said Emilia, Nick was feeling uncomfortable with the situation.
"I had a lot of time to meditate and I have to admit I was never so happy just in maitenans." Said Nick, Emilia was happy for him, the first time that saw Nick was full of hate and anger.

Nick is getting ready for the trip to the capital to deliver a letter to the gate of the Manor Rem was there to say good luck.
"I see you came over to say good luck to me Rem." Nick said with a smile.
"Do you really have to go?" Said Rem with a sad tone in his voice, Nick strokes his head to say.
"Don't worry I'm going to come back, I only have to deliver a letter" Nick said but Rem didn't calm down, she hugged Nick then she cried on her chest in her leather armor.
"Rem know you have to leave or you come after the contras is finished" Rem said
"Its not me who decides its my employer, I cannot stay here with my contract." Nick said. Rem didn't feel any better.

"I will do my best." Said Nick who separates from Rem then he goes towards the capital. Rem watches Nick from afar just when she can't see him, Ram walks over to his boyish loving sister then she asks.
"Its the first time you see Nick leave?" Ram request
"Yes, Rem is so worried about Nick that Rem doesn't know if he will come back." Said Rem
"Don't worry little sister, Nick is not useless he can fight, come to the mansion, I have questions for you." Ram said
"Like what, Nee-sama?" Ask Rem
"Like how was Nick in bed?" Ram said with a perverted face.
Some hour later at night.
Nick goes to Master Roswaal's mansion before dark but he has no choice to go camping, Nick makes a fireside then a rudimentary bed then he begins to meditate before bed then a ghostly apparition has appeared to say .
"Watch out Nick, you'll be in trouble soon." Said Satela
"What kind of problem?" Ask Nick
"The kind of problem you are the reason for being here." Said Satela then she disappears. Then Nick hear footsteps coming towards him, Nick get up with an unpleasant mood then he sees men in black dresses with hoods and masks so as not to see their faces.
"Praise our goddess, she found us one of ours." Said the man who raised his hands to the sky to speak to their goddess.
"Who are you?" Ask Nick
"We elected them as our goddess to bring a perfect being back to our world, to guide us no matter the price." Said the man, Nick remembers that Rem and Ram had a cult attack, he decides to play the game.
"I do not know because I am looking for the organization to annihilate the demons I am their admirer, but if you knew who are let me know." Said Nick who is hoping who will bite the hook.

"Your organization has been put at a price and I am here to destroy it." Said Nick, the men were shocked at this reaction.
"Who are you?" Ask man

Said Nick who plants his sword on the ground then he drinks a potion which makes a reaction as if he is possessed to the point that the cult begins to be afraid of Nick, he takes his swords then he rushes the sect, the sect they did not have time to take out their weapon which are already dead in the process but during the carnage there is one left, the man takes his sword to cut his throat but Nick uses Aard to make a telequinisie push to surprise him then he jumps on the cultist to take his throat to question him.
"WHERE IS YOUR BASS!" Order Nick to the man
"I won't say anything, you are me and I will join my goddess." Said the man, Nick sighs then he raise his hand to use Axii
"You are going to tell me all that you know in detail." Said Nick, the man becomes docile then he says
"Our headquarters are in the mountains with our leader to prepare an attack in a week with unstable crystals to accuse the protector of Roswaal." Said the man
"Where are his crystals?" Ask Nick who is taking notes.
"In every little village in the region." Said the man, Nick had enough to investigate, he takes his hunting knife then he slits his throat then he goes to the mansion
