Chapter 9: fallen maidens and the night which everything was gone to hell

The barrier protecting Lescatie from the monsterkind has fallen, Mimil who was responsible for maintaining it was the first one to feel it, since it was so intrinsically linked to her own mana.
"I need to go now, sorry Sasha, Mersé, Elt Nii but i think we're being invaded and i need to fix the barrier before the town is overridden" the loli hurriedly began to leave dropping the ice cream.
"Wait! why don't we go together, you can't fight alone!" the others spoke.
"There's no time for that, this town has many gates, we need to separate and cover as many entrances possible, so please go to the other gates!" Mimil said, surely they were more than enough to stop whatever was coming right?
BOOM
"It came from the castle! Come with me Elt quickly!" Mersé grabbed the soldier and disappeared as well but not before warning Sasha.
"Go back with the children to safety, if possible evacuate with them!".
"I need to warn Sieg, it's time to go Annie, Lisie, Emiyu, Bob stay calm and come with me okay?" Sasha told her kids, who forewarned earlier by Sieg knew what was happening and were calm enough to follow orders even though fearful, then left as well.
Back at the orphanage
"My gut feeling was right, can you feel this Dark as well Beatrice"
"Yes, Sieg it's so oppressive, as if the Abyss itself was here"
"It was good we prepared huh time to go do what we can... What?" Sieg rolled to the side and in the place he was a second before a bunch of knifes were throw
"Sorry my beautiful lord and mistress, but i need to bring you back to our leader, she really wants to meet you both" the hidden kunoichi revealed herself and spoke "please come peacefully with me, i don't want to hurt you" the pair noticed how she looked at them both with a predatory lust filled gaze.
"Oh and what a beautiful piece of woman like you would want with poor little us, who are just compleeeetely normal humans~" Sieg got a kick in the chins by Beatrice for flirting with another woman in front of her "sorry.."
"Please add me to your harem, let me be your concubine Sieg, Beatrice please, i love you both so much~ " She attacked with her dual blades, just one nick or a dozen of her demon silver should be enough to make them think about it right?

Before she could press further, a spear of light crashed down and stopped her in her tracks
"Disappear you vile demon, he's protected by me under the orders of the Chief God, if they're to come with someone it will be as my champions!" the Valkyrie revealed herself in all of her holy glory floating up in the air, the release of power blasting away the roof of the orphanage and now everyone was under the moonlight.
"angel, oh fuck no! hell no! not those bastard scumbags!" Sieg screamed internally for he had a real trauma with angel like beings after what he lived through the Dreg Heap, and readied his own Havel shield to block the rain of lasers he was waiting to come down any moment now.
To the absolute lack of Sieg's surprise a rain of holy lasers indeed happened, focused on the kunoichi who did her all to evade it, either not even ashes would remain, he gave her his condolences then ran away with Beatrice "it's not worth of our time let's go help with the evacuation then try to find the culprit"
"Waaaaaaait i love you, please accept to be my husband and wifeeeee" Magatsu screams were deafened by the bombardment of light.
"Say Beatrice, would you like to have a wife?" now far from the duo Sieg joked then got punched.
"You're my wife" Beatrice asserted her dominance over his pubic bones.
"Hahahaha yes hubby, i can't wait to have you babies~" Sieg teased and the keeper smiled "i'll do my best to put my babies in you Sieg~"
"Let's go find Sasha and try to evacuate the kiddos as planned".
Around the Castle
"Just a little more, please wait for me"
Monsters of all kinds were attacking the people who ran away, the soldiers who fought, the old and young, the resistance soon gave way to moaning, Mersé followed by Elt could only clench her teeth and close her mind to the debauchery happening all around her and run, her current objective was finding reinforcements at the barracks then grouping at the castle to begin fighting back the invasion, finally reaching the barracks with a breathless Elt right at her feet, her hopes crumbled when she saw the last thing she wanted.
"Wait isn't that" Elt and Mersé looked the soldiers they trained with being overwhelmed by a succubus that spoke with the mannerisms of someone they knew very well
"Ohh this is what true brotherly love is, look upon me my friends and let me taste your love! i feel soo hungry right now~" the amazon of a succubus glistening with muscles and female charm pounced at them with the roughness of a bear.
"No man stop, i thought your touchy feely ways were just a joke, no this is too much! aahhhhhhhh ahnnnn~"
"What happened to you man, this isn't funny anymore noooooo! ahhhhnnn~"
The barracks are lost, their friends gone and their favorite chap became a succubus somehow?
"I WON'T FORGIVE THEM!" Mersé ran at full speed to the castle swating away like flies whoever stood in her way, "BUNCH OF CANNON FODDER, WHERE'S YOUR BOSS" she could fight every monster in here and try to save their victims, but they were far gone with corruption to be saved by now and she couldn't bring herself to end her people even if they have fallen.
"Wait captain!" Elt followed after her before looking back one last time to the debauchery happening at the barracks and getting a stiffy at the amazon who now rivaled his captain in beauty riding his friends "No no no, that thing is was a man! focus Elt!".
After cleaving a way through the remaining distance and reaching the castle square they meet her, and from just one look they knew she was the culprit behind this chaos and also far out of their league.
"Oh look at what we have here, i was waiting for you Elt~" Druella spoke lasciviously, she just finished corrupting Wilmarina and knows how much important Elt was to her and Francesca both of them soon enough would converge to this place after fulfilling their missions.
"I need to bring you back to your friends, they've been waiting for a reunion with you since your innocent children days" she announced and Elt flinched.
"The only people i remember to play with at those times were... no it can't be!" He panicked, Mersé who brought him here was not amused by this and challenged the Lilim, swinging her halberd at her and being blocked by a wall.
"I don't know what you're trying to do, but stop trying to hurt him you monster!" The captain readied herself for battle and kept attacking her strikes never hitting true.
"Ohh~ another who has feelings for him, Elt you daredevil~ how many girls you have under your thumb right now if only you were stronger i think i would want a taste as well~" Druella teased and hit a nerve.
"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT" Mersé kept attacking and the Lilim raised a wall, blocking all of her strikes.
"I originally i came for the boy to get him as a gift for my new friends, but since you seem to deny your desires so much, i'll open you to these repressed feelings of love too" the Lilim played with Mersé "but first let me protect the boy, hey!"
A transparent wall was formed under Elt's feet, locking him away from the world much to Mersé horror.
"Taking hostages, how low can you demons can get" she was frenzied in her attacks trying to bring down Druella's magic wall sadly a defensive mage was the worst match for a physically fiighter.
"Calm down, i just need to get him out of harm's way, i'll be indulging all of your desires now so get ready" Druella dropped her wall and showed she had sword skills, with rapier in hand she overwhelmed Mersé fairly easily.
Elt slammed to no avail against the magic barrier that separated him from his captain, once again he would be separated from a friend
"I didn't hurt her Elt boy, see, there's no harm upon her body, no blood at all even if she's exhausted" Druella's grip was like of a gorilla and showed to him Mersé's battered self who was now moaning and in bliss from the lilim's caress each second that passed.
"Let's make a little show for him~" the corruption began and soon Mersé the hero would be no more "Sorry Francesca and Mary, i hope you can learn how to share because lil Mersé will be taking dibs on him" She looked at the shota clearly getting excited from her little lesbian show for him while converting his dear captain.
"And just you wait Sieg, i'll be coming for you soon~"
In another part of the city while fighting the monsters and helping the escape of the people who still could be saved, the undead shivered and Beatrice got angry.
Close to one of the city cathedrals
Mimil walked feeling absolute disgust at the ugliness of the adults around her, with a cold glare piercing the debauchery happening all around she swatted away any monster who approached, until none was left and she was alone in front of a cathedral, one of the many nexus for the magic barrier that protected the town.
"These monsters aren't the culprits behind my barrier breaking..." she spoke after swatting away another monster who thought could sneak attack her in this desolate place "where are you scum, no one so weak could ever dare to touch my genius"
"It would be mee~" Mimil looked up and at the top of the cathedral the culprit formed itself from the shadows of the moon, a little girl the same height as with goat features wearing only a scarf filled with heretical imagery of the Fallen God, and a smug smile that pissed her off.
"Break!" Mimil cast a spell that blew away the roof the Baphomet was, missing it because she already teleported to the ground and was in front of her.
"To treat a friend with violence how cruel~ ops" the Baphomet jumped back as a pillar of fire formed bellow her feet.
"Casting such strong spells at a young age, i knew you had potential!" the Baphomet was a spell of her own and began a fight with the magical girl, many lights of diverse elemental affinity were throw between them
"Nee~ nee~ why won't you join my congregation, we could improve you soo much and we're always looking for more little sisters~" she evaded another spell and fired back a counter attack.
"I will never join filth like you and do those things the ugly adults are doing right now!" Mimil thought back to how many monsters around this area had the same age as her and apparently were seducing their own parents, then got angry and increased the power output.
"You don't need to be like them, we all are just searching for our onii-chans don't you have one you desire as well~?" The Baphomet noticed from observation that Mimil looked jealous when one of the girls was doing it with someone closer to their age.
"The onii-chan of your dreams could be all yours, without needing to care about social position~" Mimil hesitated for a second.
"Think i got your interest" the Baphomet laughed at Mimil, the wavering and sudden emotional shift meant she already had a nice onii-chan waiting for her and just needed a little push to join them.
"I refuse, i refuse to do those disgusting things with him! i refuse!" Mimil bombarded the place with everything she got and the entire square was cleansed, some of the monster girls who "found" their husbands already ran away when noticing the destruction coming, others weren't as lucky though and turned into ash together with their hubbies, screams and sobbing was heard at the distance.
"Why you locked yourself away like this, you're so young but acts like a mindless weapon not caring about your surroundings..." the Baphomet was angered at the unneeded destruction just for a little teasing, the loss of life was too much for her.
"I will show you true love, and cleanse you from your sins" resolution was in the voice of the goat loli.
"Try me! JUDGMENT" Mimil cast her strongest spell against the Baphomet, the holy spell would follow her until the ends of the planet and destroy everything in the way to its target.
"Devour" Baphomet only uttered a word, she wouldn't run from the spell she would null it completely, dark energy began devouring the holy light and not a single mote was spared, with the death of the spell the caster too would be drained dry.
"No it can't be, Elt-nii save mee" Mimil was spent, her strongest spell wasn't enough her breathing was ragged and she fell to the ground, all she accomplished was killing the small fry around this place and nothing else now she would be devoured by the monster in front of her just like the Order told.
"I won't hurt you nee-chan, i'll just bring you to my congregation it saddens that you did what you did, but surely there's a reason for that" The goat assured her knowing that the Fallen God and Hel would care for those who lost their lives today.
"Now let's see what made you like the way you are now, open your mind to me" the loli Baphomet summoned many tentacles which violated every single hole of the magical girl, soon Mimil would be a new addition to their many little sisters and daughters, with her work on the little magician another Lescatie hero would be no more.
"Sieg where are you, Siiiieg!"
"Sieg nii!"
"Our home noooooo!"
After evading the debauchery around them and running away from monsters who targeted her children, unable to bring herself to do violence against them, Sasha and the kids reached the orphanage only to look at the destruction, whatever happened after this night they wouldn't have a home to come back to anymore, not in this town.
"I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry, please forgive me" the nun was crushed, she didn't expect the invasion she helped to happen would be like this, not like this
"Heretical Sasha Fullmoon, for the transgression of colluding with monsters and putting human life in jeopardy, the Chief God condemns you to death!" the nun frooze
The Valkyrie waited for her all this time, the kunoichi escaped her barrage and by now was far gone, but she wasn't her main target this night, the treacherous hero was.
"NOOOOO" Sasha was too paralyzed with fear, the Chief God abandoned her and gave her the final sentence, humanity as a whole would hate her for what happened today and her only solace would be if she joined the monsters.
"Everything but that! At least before you do it, help the children escape, please!" Her pleading felt upon deaf ears, Valkyries were like machines and only moved for the mission they were given, protecting these children wasn't part of it even if the angel wanted to, then from the shadows came one single word.
"Run!"
"Ehh?"
"NOW"
A cloud of smoke exploded in the place they were and Magatsu reappeared grabbing the kids and running away, for her mission also was to keep watch on Sasha, and since the Valkyrie wanted her dead anyways, it was her chance to bring her to the monster's camp.
"Are you a good monster nee-san?" The kids asked fearful.
"You won't eat us right?" the kids began crying.
"No no no no stop crying alright, i'll take you to Sieg-nii, what do you say?" Magatsu running with her all while carrying the kids was taking a toll on her after fighting the Valkyrie earlier and she really didn't need her passengers to start resisting now.
"Really?" "Promise you won't eat us?" "Or hurt us?"
"I Promise, a pinky promise at that, so calm down and let's go!" after calming down finally noticed one person wasn't here.
"Where's Sasha nee?" the kids panicked.
"WHERE'S SASHA?!" Magatsu also noticed "OH DAMMIT!"
The nun stood back probably to hold back the Valkyrie or worse, to accept her death for betraying the Chief God.
"And i can't go back! right now!" Magatsu was thinking all the pros and cons of going back and try to save her, but she made a promise with the kids and couldn't break it "THE SIGN, PLEASE LET HER FIND THE SIGN"
"The miscreant was alive..." The Valkyrie looked at the kunoichi's direction, the children would be monsterized and that pained her heart, to lose such innocent beings like this but the mission gave to her by the Chief God herself was above all else.
"It's all your fault, prepare yourself" The Valkyrie began her dance of destruction.
"I can't die here now, i have to repent while i'm still alive!" Sasha out of her daze and deciding she wouldn't die here evaded with everything she had and escaped inside the rubbles of what remained from the orphanage, to hide herself and to find his sign.
"Sieg i really need your help, please, right now!"
She looked up and saw the warm light that promised everything would be well atop of a single wood pillar that remained from the second floor, now to get there she would need to jump and she was sure she would be skewered by the Valkyrie midair, but it was the only chance she had so she resolved herself.
"EYY COMER HERE RIGHT NOW AND HELP ME!" the nun jumped and successfully touched the sign then was blasted back to the ground by the Valkyrie back to the ground, feeling her bones shattering.
At another place
"It seems she finally is having a problem she can't deal with by herself" Sieg felt the pull of the sign "Can you take care of things around here my love?"
"Yes, please and go help our friend" Beatrice raised her great shield and prepared her demon's scar for the oncoming battle solo, the people they were evacuating had 0 chance to win not being fighters or heroes.
"I'll be back soon, take care"
"You too"
The man disappeared
"All of you lets go, we're almost reaching the gates out of this place!"
Back to a battered Sasha
"please... come quickly..." the nun was losing her strength after suffering direct damage from one of the Chief God's elite angels and almost passed out.
"Confess your sins heretical Sasha, and may the Chief God have mercy on your soul" the angel readied herself for the finishing strike while giving enough time for the last words of the sinner.
"I only wanted them to be happy..."
"And happy they will be, little sister" The Valkyrie turned around and got a face full of chaos bed vestiges.
"And you take care to not die, either our connection will be lost, drink this, grab!"
Sieg who was like a shining knight from old myths in the nun's eyes right now threw a divine blessing to her raised hand, who promptly felt the power of the potion and drank it without hesitation, her wounds gone in a instant.
"So, what a beautiful angel like you has to gain bullying a human who can't defend herself?" of all the things with hostility, he felt the Valkyrie was the one being in this town Sasha considered an enemy, of course the monsters wouldn't consider her a enemy, she helped them to achieve all of this after all.
"Soul devouring Sieg" the undead cringed at that nickname and Sasha feared it.
"The other mission the Chief God gave me was to watch you and invite you to her realm for she wants your help in dethroning the current Demon Lord" the Valkyrie spoke mechanically but was ready for battle, she remembered how the man used the souls of long dead heroes to empower his wife and disliked everything about it
"Oh yeah and she does so by trying to kill my friend here?" he snarked.
"Sasha was sentenced to death for the transgression of colluding with monsters and bringing about the chaos and corruption you're seeing all around you, you dare say this is for the greater good of love as well?"
"Me? oh no, i don't approve what most of the monsters are doing here, this is assimilation more than anything and i especially dislike the parasitic ones like the mushrooms, slimes and the ropers" the Valkyrie smiled, soul devouring monster he could be but it seems he shared their vision about the evilness of monsterkind.
"But sentencing them all to death is excessive don't you think? If they are like a battery of demon energy, how much pollution you think would be released from the deaths of them all? I bet the world would be covered in Dark faster than letting they do their thing" Sieg searched for another way to not stir the Dark after reading the encyclopedia and connecting many dots.
"Anyways this town is finished and there's nothing any of us can do now"
Sieg began negotiations "So i ask of you lady, let Sasha go and evacuate those who can still be saved and i accept to meet your God, she's just a little piece with no meaning in the great picture anyways" the nun felt insulted at the way he spoke of her.
"Or don't and sadly force me to add your beautiful soul to my collection?" He pointed the dark hand to the angel and she felt it was her natural predator whatever it was.
"You really eat souls Sieg? what are you!"
The shining knight image was gone and a demon in the skin of a man took its place, Sasha wanted nothing to do with the man after he confirmed his nickname, and worse was that she let him get this close to her and her children all this time.
"Our systems are different girlie, i'm far older than you think and from were we come, using another one's soul to empower yourself was the norm" He looked at her expression getting darker by the second "don't be afraid, from our point of view it's not much different from the spirit energy system you all use".
The Valkyrie weighted her options, to fail her mission with the Chief God was not a choice, but letting suck a dangerous being close to her was also a risk then she felt her conscience leave.

the Valkyrie presence changed drastically and the undead felt he was facing one of the Heirs of the Flame, the nun dropped to her knees.
"Hello Sieg, Sasha i'm the Chief God" it declared
"I really want to know more about you truly, and i accept your terms, come to me after evacuating whatever remains of the town and Sasha can go, you'll know when you're being summoned" Sieg began speaking but was stopped.
"You have questions but i have too many enemies here, and i'm weakened after being betrayed by the Hero who is now married to the Demon Lord, so please come quickly, i have to go now, bye!" the Valkyrie disappeared into motes of light, the corruption was becoming too strong in here with all the orgies happening and so much demon energy being released.
"You heard the girlie, let's go" Sieg took the still dazed nun away.
The shining golden knight cleaved his way through the sea of nymphomaniacs trying to stop them wanting a piece of the man who shined like the sun.
Surprised he could interact with things that weren't considered enemies, Sasha begged him to not use so much violence, so he left alive only those who would relent after his demonstration of power, the ones who were too frenzied to know better now were free souls for his own use, Sasha has seen in first hand what she feared the most, am ability only the worst monsters of old had, Sieg truly was sucking the souls of those he killed, these monsters and the humans lost in the chaos would never reach Hel or the Heavens, they now belonged to him and nothing would change that.
Banshees all over cried for the lost ones, the goddess of the Dead was furious at this creature for what he did and worst of all not even trying to, its own abominable nature ate the souls of the slain, he didn't even need to deal the finishing blow, if anyone in the area died their essence would be absorbed by him.
"Sieg please tell me you don't plan on ending the world yourself" Sasha cried for the departed ones.
"What makes you think this?"
"You are doing something far cruel than anyone in the current generation monsters or humans ever did"
"As i said before Sasha, this is part of what who we are, i can't control it even if i tried to" Sieg tried to explain "I heard there was a way to make people like us stop getting souls but it was far worse because they were sucked into a ring and wasted away completely, so tell me which is the far lesser of evils, they becoming one with my strength or wasting away locked inside an accessory?"
The nun didn't have an answer for that, both options were abominable, but if being absorbed by him meant the chance of changing the world for the better at least there would be solace in that.
"Also my original plans were just to travel around with my beloved and watch the sights, away from the chaos"
After running for so long, now completely at peace because no one dare to get close to the golden reaper they finally meet with Beatrice and the others, Magatsu was there with the kids as well after following the sweet scent of the Firekeeper she loved, her eyes shone watching other beloved now donning radiance warmer than the Sun.
"And time's up, i'll be going back now" Sieg disappeared to the shock of Sasha and Magatsu, only to reappear back at Beatrice's side.
"Siiiiiiiieg~ please be my husband, i promise i'll be a good second wife for both of you~" Magatsu pounced at the undead, only to be held by Beatrice's grip like a newborn kitten.
"Ahnnn my beloved is so strong~ please take me and ravish me~"
"Not now, first help us evacuate the citizens" Sieg said before noticing they were at the exit gates already, and the only remaining people were them and Sasha's kids
"Sieg nii!" "Sasha nee!" they cried, the nun comforted them and thanked both undead for the help before escaping from the town.
"Okey but that's a promise right, you said not now so we'll have lots of lovey dovey fun after this right?" the kunoichi acted as if they still were helping people escape "Oh look all of them escaped safe and sound~" the undead couple facepalmed.

"Okey let's spend quality time with the cute Ninja-" kick (It was a promise Beato, and she seems to want us for something else) "What's you name anyways?"
"Magatsu, my name is Magatsu, hubby~ wifey~" Magatsu got wet looking at the pair and how much she wanted both to ravish her with the ferocity they showed earlier
"Before that i also have a mission, would you come with me to meet my liege?" The poor kunoichi cursed inside, she was bound by her mission too and taking them to Druella meant the risk of losing her beloved future husband and wife.
"Show us the way then" Sieg and Beatrice together with their honorary wife/husband directed themselves to Druella and the fallen heroines at the castle.
