I had once again forgotten how much faster it is for me to write out the chapters first instead of trying to type them immediately. I was much more focused on getting the chapter done instead of becoming distracted.

Anyways, this story has only two more chapters left, so be sure to vote on my poll on my profile. The poll will be edited shortly to describe the changes that will be made to the stories that could be rewritten.

Enjoy!

Somehow, Mal managed to calm Gil down long enough to say 'good-bye' to their adult family members. When all the Isle children met together at the school entrance, those who didn't spectate the previous event verbally wondered how Gil's new shirt was torn. Mal tensely informed the group she would explain the events to them later, after Gil had more time too cool off.

However, when the adults returned to the Isle and the children returned to the special gathering, each group discovered the awful events had been recorded on the Auradon News Network and posted on the Internet for everyone to see.

Of course, Harry, Uma, and Evie forbid the youngest four from watching the video while the others did, as they feared it would traumatize the children. Harry was most particularly worried that Squirmy would start seeing his 'Gi-Gi' in a negative way.

On the Isle, a certain villain had watched the events as it unfolded live on the show. He felt as though something needed to be done for Gil's heroism, especially since he knew how much Gil had been looking forward to attending the coronation tomorrow.

When Lumiere—who was once again the chauffeur—returned from the Isle, he dropped off the package he received from that certain villain to the royal seamstress, as he had been informed about what the package contained. Afterwards, Lumiere went to Prince Ben to speak of the new, and somewhat surprising development.

Once he handled the unwanted press at the Family Day event, Ben searched the campus for Gil, finding him and the ten other children at the picnic area with their half-eaten lunch. The older Isle children sat at the table, while the younger four played together within the group's vision. Meanwhile, a few yards away from them, Auradonians—like Chad, Jane, and Doug—sat at their own picnic table. Most spent their time glaring at the Isle group from afar while one person tried to work up the courage to approach the group—

To approach her true love.

Lonnie, the only Auradon kid sitting with the 'VKs', perked up when she saw Ben. "There you are!" she exclaimed impatiently. "Now we can announce our good news."

Wrapping an arm around his future-queen's shoulder, Ben wondered curiously, "What good news?"

"Lonnie and I have decided we would think positive about the baby, meaning we believe they will be fine when we return," Jay began, surprising the group by that comment alone. "We even decided on names for the baby."

"If a boy, we are naming him 'Zhou' after my late grandfather," Lonnie announced happily.

"When we have a girl," Jay corrected teasingly, "we will name her 'Nasira' after my late aunt."

"You could have twins," Evie reminded with raised eyebrows. "We know it is not uncommon on the Isle. I'm sure Auradon is the same way."

"If we have twins, we will have to figure out another set of godparents for the twins." Lonnie smiled kindly at her childhood friend and his fiancé. "Unless, you think you can handle being godparents to two children instead of one?"

"We would be honored," Mal reassured, though she smiled mischievously at her partner. "It would give Ben practice for when we have a kid in a few years, if he decides he wants one."

"Just one?" Ben repeated incredulously, smiling himself. "I want at least three; a girl, a boy, and the third a surprise, but in no particular order. If we have all girls or all boys, I would be fine with that."

"If you want them to be classmates with Jay and Lonnie's children, you better get started after we return to our time." Uma waggled her eyebrows suggestively at her cousin. "No one really needs to know you are pregnant during your wedding until after your wedding."

"What makes you think we haven't tried yet?" Mal boldly interrogated. "After all, we did spend the night together after our engagement party."

"Okay, okay. That's enough about our love life," Ben stubbornly insisted, causing most of their friends to snicker at his embarrassment. Deciding to change the subject before any more details could be divulged, the prince adverted his attention to the quiet brute. "Gil," he acknowledged, "there was a package sent to you from the Isle. Lumiere didn't know where you would be, so he dropped it off at my castle. We can go there now so you can get it now."

Sighing softly, Gil grumpily stood from his seat. "I do need to go on a walk," he reluctantly admitted. "My temper hasn't gone down much from what happened earlier. I'm still pissed at Queen Leah."

"And you have every right to be," Ben reassured kindly. "This package will cheer you up, hopefully."

If anything, the 'package' surprised Gil more than cheered him up.

His father, Gaston, had witnessed the events that took place the couple hours before. Gaston had searched his home for a suitable attire, one he thought might have been misplaced a long time ago.

At Ben's family's castle, in the guest bedroom, Gil tried on his father's old red suit—the same suit Gaston wore when he proposed to Belle—that Madame de Garderobe quickly altered for him. Since she still had his measurements from the recently finished suit, altering the old clothing was a breeze.

Stepping out from behind the changing screen, Gil observed his appearance in the mirror alone.

Or, at least, he thought he was.

"You look just as handsome as before."

Flinching at the unexpected voice, Gil quickly turned around to come face-to-face with a surprising visitor. "Audrey," he greeted with a soft nod. "What are you doing here? You should be resting after what happened."

"I've done nothing but rest for the past couple days. I feel fine," Audrey promised, stepping forward to straighten the suit jacket. "Besides, I still had Hades's ember when he and the others returned to the Isle. I gave it to Ben so he could return it to Mal in private. Until recently, I forgot just how powerful its magic was, even though that was the second time it was used to wake me."

Eyes growing wide at the statement, Gil questioned tenderly, "So, you remember everything?"

"Turns out, I never forgot," Audrey commented knowingly. "Those dreams I had weren't really dreams. They actually happen in the future. You knew that though, didn't you? Even the other six and Ben; you all have your memories from the future too."

"I'm so sorry, Audrey," Gil apologized guiltily. "I should have told you sooner. I should have told you before you tried too . . ."

"It doesn't anything between us," Audrey claimed, resting her hand on his muscular chest. "I may remember what will happen, but I still love you. I did then, and I do now. I would be extremely honored to still have you be my date for Ben's . . . recoronation?"

Smiling for the first time since the 'incident' occurred, Gil corrected, "I think I would be the one to be honored to go with a beautiful princess like you."

"It would surely piss my grandmother off," Audrey remarked, her hand slowly raising to the back of Gil's neck. "I think she deserves it after the stunt she pulled today with her stubbornness."

"I was never going to give up on you," Gil promised vehemently. "I believe you are my true love. That will never change."

"I know," Audrey promised with a soft smile. "In this time, I knew you were my true love the first time we locked eyes with each other, when you opened the door for me. I think . . . I knew in the future we were meant to be together, but I was so obsessed with being queen, yet I never did anything to you. I feel so bad for what I did, or will do, to everyone. I deserve the punishment the Royal Family creates for me when we return."

"After everything you have been through this last week, I think you have been punished enough," Gil commented with an aggravated sigh. "Almost losing you twice in three days was enough. I don't need to almost lose you for a third time."

Peaking a glance over his shoulder, a mischievous gleam appeared in Audrey's eyes. "You know . . ." she began slyly, her hands moving to unbutton the collared shirt. "You should really take this off before you get it all wrinkled. There is a nice bed over there and I guess I could use some 'sleep', if you know what I mean."

Chuckling softly at the promiscuous suggestion, Gil teased, "I see you haven't changed your mind from this morning. Just as I had said before: if that is what you want."

As it may have been predicted, Audrey abruptly smashed their lips together in a heated, needy kiss, just as she finished removing his shirt, tossing it and the suit jacket on the floor, to which they will lay forgotten for some time.

Let's just say, Mal and Ben, and Jay and Lonnie may not be the only couples to have children so soon.
