Chap 6
'Shit, shit, shit!' I thought as I quickly took out my scroll. Pulling up a special feature, I brought up the option to send a message to every single rudie of every gang. A feature that was rarely ever used. It was mainly used for calling other rudies for celebrations or news about the tournaments. But this was an actual emergency considering the Rokkaku just teamed up with Ironwoods and the Atlas Kingdom.
"Are you okay Jaune?" Pyrrha whispered as Rokkaku Goji continued his rant.
"Yes. Fine." I answered a little too quickly. Judging by her expression, she did not believe me. However, before she could say anything, she was cut off by another student.
"How are you going to be dealing with these rudies?" She asked.
"With my own personal force along with some special units. The Rokkaku Police and the Golden Rhinos." Goji answered as about thirty Rokkaku police and twenty Golden Rhinos stepped onto the stage.
'Oh, no.' I thought when I saw three notable figures step up. One was captain Hayashi. The other two were notable members of the Golden Rhinos. While we did not know their names, we did know by their weapons of choice. One was a lady wielding a flame thrower while the others was a male wielding golden grappling hooks as arms.
"Damn. Talk about excessive." Yang muttered under her breath when they spotted the lady with the flamethrower.
"Isn't that a bit much to handle these "rudies?" Glynda asked worried.
"You'd be surprised at how resourceful and resilient these rudies are." Goji answered.
"Are you going to go against all the people on skates or just certain ones?" Velvet, surprisingly, asked.
"If these youths simply skate in certain parks, then no. But anyone spotted outside will be considered dangerous and warranted for immediate arrest." Goji answered with a smirk. Telling me immediately that he was lying. But my attention was drawn when Velvet let out a pout with her ears drooping while Coco let out a growl while lowering her shades and glaring at Goji.
'Odd.' I thought. For a moment I thought it was because they knew how to skate and did not like this new law. That or the fact that Hayashi was waving his gun around like the mad man he is.
"Is there anything else you wish to discuss?" Ozpin asked worried and clearly concerned for everyone.
"No. That is it." Goji answered before taking his leave. Followed by the Rokkaku police and Golden Rhinos.
"You are all dismissed. But before you leave, just one announcement." Ozpin told us stepping up to the mic.
'Now what?' I thought still slightly panicking. But that lessened when Pyrrha gripped my hand. Turning to her, I saw her smile worriedly at me. Nodding, I gave me own smile before squeezing her hand back.
"Due to this new development, I have decided to cancel classes for the week. Enjoy this extra time. But use it to your benefit to catch up on any assignments or study for any upcoming tests." He told us before leaving.
'Okay. That gives me some time.' I thought as we got up and left the auditorium.
"Time for what Jaune?" Nora asked. Making me realize I said it instead of thinking it.
"Oh, just to meet up with some friends and still be able to study some more for the leadership classes Glynda teaches." I quickly answered/lied. Really, it gave me time to warn every other rudie about this new development. Though, I hope the message went through and if not, hopefully Professor K would announce it.
"I'm proud of you Jaune. It's good that you started to take more initiative to study and do better." Pyrrha said while pulling me into a hug.
"Hey guys. And love birds." Coco said getting our attention. And causing Pyrrha to let go with a blush on her face.
"Hey Coco. Velvet." We greeted back.
"Can you believe this?" Velvet said angrily which surprised us greatly.
"Um. Everything all right Velvet?" Blake asked worried.
"She's just cranky that she can no longer skate without possibly being arrested. And so am I." Coco answered.
"Wait. You two skate?" I asked surprised.
"Been skating almost all our lives. But we haven't been able to do so recently due to all the school work." She explained.
"OOH! LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE THREE SKATERS!" Nora shouted excitedly.
"Three. Who's the third?" Velvet asked with wide eyes.
"OUR FEAR LEASS LEADER!" Nora answered nearly shouting our ears off.
"Blondie? You skate?" Coco asked surprised.
"Yeah. I skate from time to time." I answered.
"He and his friends just came back from a tournament earning first place." Ruby added.
"Though pointless since they did not receive a medal or trophy as how it's supposed to be when winning." Weiss added as well.
"Not everything has to be a competition Schnee. But then again, I shouldn't be surprised that a Schnee couldn't understand the concept of love that some people have for certain things." Coco countered while lowering her shaded to glare at Wiess who let out an undignified 'Hey!'
'Gum would definitely like Coco and despise Weiss.' I thought smirking at the possible outcomes of this. Before realizing the pain that Beat would go through.
"Anyway. Since apparently you know how to skate blondie, care to show us how well?" Coco asked.
"Come on. Can't we let Jaune rest? He just had the tournament. He must be tired." Pyrrha exclaimed.
"You know, for just being partners, you are quite protective of him." Ren stated causing Pyrrha to blush.
"Of course. He's, my partner." She tried to explain without stuttering yet failing miserably.
"Partner? Or partner?" Yang teased causing Pyrrha to blush even harder which I found cute.
'Jazz and Boogie would like Yang.' I thought before realizing all the terrible puns that could come of this if they we to meet up.
"Well, either way. I'm glad she's, my partner." I said pulling her into a hug before turning to the others. "Sure. If you want, we can head to a skate park right now."
"Nice." Coco said as I let go of Pyrrha.
One Hour Later
"I still say ice skating is much more refined." Weiss remarked as we finished checking into the same skate park from earlier.
Ignoring her, we sat on some benches and put on our skates. And by that, I mean everyone. Even Weiss decided to put some roller blades on. Though, I did have to help Pyrrha and Ruby with their skates as they didn't know how to make sure they were on securely. Once done, I took my case and placed my special skates on quickly. However, I had to make sur the others did not spot the graffiti can or else things were bound to get complicated. Once done, I go back up and saw Coco and Velvet skating towards us with ease.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yup. Me and Lucky are itching to see your skills blondie." Coco answered.
"Lucky?" I asked confused.
"A nickname I got when Coco and some others saw me land a couple of very difficult tricks. Though, I have a feeling the others only called me this due to me being a rabbit faunus." Velvet answered.
"Well, let's get this show started." Yang interjected as she tried to skate to us but ended up leaning against the bench to not fall over.
"But before we do, we need some music." Coco told us.
"What kind?" Nora asked as she tried to keep her balance but nearly fell over a few times. Yet, Ren kept her upright as he held her arm.
"You know, I have been curious as what music jaune was listening to on the day he left for the tournament. Maybe he can play that?" Pyrrha asked as she struggled to get up without falling back down on the bench.
"That will work." Velvet agreed.
"How about it blondie?" Coco asked. I hesitated in answering as I wasn't sure if it was a good idea. But then I remembered that it wouldn't hurt as long as they don't know how to turn to the correct frequency.
"Sure. Just need a radio or something for us play it on." I answered.
"Got one right here." Blake said as she slowly skated towards us. In her hand, was a radio that was similar to that of Combo's except smaller.
"That will do." I said as I took the radio and began to tune it to the correct station. Thought, I had to cover up what I was doing when Weiss tried to see what station I was trying to get. After a moment, it was done and the music started playing.

"That definitely has a nice beat." Coco said as she started to bob her head to the music a bit.
Nodding, I began to skate around the park. This time not holding anything back and doing nearly every trick I knew. All the while enjoying the music that Professor K was playing. Seeing a nearby billboard I could skate on, I decided to risk it. Jumping into the half pipe, I skated back and forth until I had enough speed before jumping right before the edge. This propelled me high enough into the air that I reached the billboard.
"Yeah." I shouted as I skated on the billboard. Jumping off when it ended, I flew above the others while performing tricks and enjoying their jaw dropped faces before landing right behind them. Once on the ground, I started to dance a bit. Enjoying the adrenalin rush I get every time I skate. However, that quickly died down when Pyrrha skated towards me in worry while trying not to fall down.
"JAUNE! THAT WAS DANGEROUS!" She shouted in fear at what I just did.
"Dangerous? That was awesome!" Velvet argued shocked at what she just saw.
"Who knew blondie here had some serious skills." Coco said equally shocked.
"How did you do that Arc?" Weiss asked.
"As a friend once said, you can't always relay on your eyes. You just have to feel it." I answered. Needless to say, they were all confused. However, it seemed that Coco and Velvet understood it.
"He meant that you cannot actively think about everything you're going to do when skating. Just get the feeling for it and do it. Let the rush guide you so to speak." Coco explained.
"Either way. It's too dangerous. Jaune please-" Pyrrha began but was cut off when Professor k stopped the music.
'This just in for all you rudies out there. Listen up. I just received word from fellow rudie Jaune Arc from The GG's that Rokkaku Goji crawled out of the hole he was hiding in. And to make matters worse, he and Ironwoods teamed up to try and wipe out our culture. Better watch your backs out there. And make sure you show them all that they cannot snuff out our culture.' Professor K reported before the music came back on.
"Um. What was that about?" Blake asked confused.
"Is this some kind of prank?" Weiss asked.
"Um..." I began but was cut off when we heard someone shout out towards us.
"Don't let that kid get away!" A Rokkaku police ordered. Turning around, we saw that there was ten Rokkaku police, five Golden Rhinos and five Atlas soldiers running towards us.
"Jaune. Tell me this isn't true." Pyrrha asked worried.
"It's true. I am a rudie. And the one who tagged Ironwood's billboard." I answered.
"YOU DID THAT!?" Weiss asked shocked.
"Nice work blondie." Coco said as she and Velvet eyed the Rokkaku, Golden Rhinos and Atlas soldiers wearily.
"Jaune. When this is over. You WILL tell me everything. And I do mean everything." Pyrrha told me with her voice saying that there was no way around it.
"All right." I told her as I grabbed my case and put on my headphones before taking out graffiti can as well.
'Looks like the Rokkaku and Golden Rhinos found Jaune. And with them were some Atlas soldiers. Seems like the war has already started. Will the soul of the street prevail or will the Rokkaku finally be able to crush our culture? Any rudies willing to lend a hand.' Professor K reported before putting on the next song.

Taking out my goggles, I put them on before reading my graffiti can. Once the Rokkaku, Golden Rhinos and Atlas soldiers were close enough, I boost dash forward surprising my teammates and the Atlas soldiers. Sending all of them to the ground, I quickly tagged each of them before moving away to dodge the automatic gun fire they sent my way. Seeing an opening when they all stopped to reload, I dashed through them again and sent the Rhinos to the ground. But before I could tag and eliminate them. I was forced away when the Rokkaku tried to jump me from behind. Jumping onto a pole, I grinded up to get away. But that was what I wanted them to think as before I got to the power lines, I jumped off the pole to the ground and quickly turned around and dashed through the Rokkaku police. However, I only managed to tag six of them before getting shot at by the Golden Rhinos.
"Ow." I grunted in pain.
"JAUNE!" I heard Pyrrha shout.
Griiting my teeth in annoyance, I boost dash again sending the remaining Rokkaku police and Golden Rhinos to the ground. I then quickly tagged them taking them out. Letting out a sigh of relief, I was about to skate back towards me team and friends when I heard something large coming towards us. Looking up, we saw Hayashi walking up to us. And behind him were helicopters, jets and tanks. But what caught my eye were the jets. They were not from the Rokkaku but rather from Atlas.
'Shit.' I thought already imagining the pain that would come from this.
"JAUNE! GET OUT OF THERE!" Pyrrha shouted as she and the others were rushing to get their skates off. But were stopped when the jets from Atlas were suddenly tagged and crashed to the ground.
"Which punk did that?" Hayashi growled out. As if called by name, the culprit landed in front of me. And it was someone I had not seen in a while.
"ZERO BEAT!" I said shocked at seeing him again.
Note:
Decided to bring back Zero Beat. This will be explained later on. But one thing will be changed. In the game towards the end, you face two of him. This time, there will be three. This as well will be explained next chapter.
Velvet and Coco will be rudies. What should their tags be?
