You know this chapter is going to be where things get a bit iffy character wise so this is where OOC comes into play.
Ah well hope you enjoy!
Chapter 3 not what I expected
The rest of the went as well as I would expect with paperwork, not only did was there quite a bit I also needed to settle my ID, or to be more specific my last name, seeing as I needed to follow the colour naming rule I just decided to throw out the name my Mother was going to name me if I was born a girl.
Officially my name was Hamish Jade, which apparently fit my colour palette perfectly.
Who knew Jade was another shade of black? I thought it was just Green like Greenstone or what the Chinese call Jade stone or something along those lines, either way it was a lovely coincidence.
So with everything out the way I was escorted back to the same team room I had used last night and was told that this was going to be my room.
I did ask about other teams but Ozpin just said that it was late for teams but there are people in the second year and above that no longer have teams but are still taught with everyone else, so yeah I have a room all to myself that was three or four times the size of my own room.
I was told that thanks to certain reasons my schedule was going to take some time to sort out so I didn't need to start going to classes until next week, but I was pretty sure the reason why I didn't need to go to class yet was because of my… unfortunate circumstances and was probably giving me time to adapt to my current situation.
Or Ozpin was ignoring the proper paperwork, the amount of Fanfiction that I have consumed that has Ozpin ignoring his actual work really stuck itself into the back of my collective thoughts.
But right I was hit with a more pressing matter.
"How in the hell do I get this armour off?" I exclaimed in confusion as I looked at myself in the bathroom and regardless with the fact I have deaged, I mean I'm pretty sure that I made my SI character to be deaged I was more focused with my current attire problem.
As much as I loved the armour it was rather worrisome when i had no real way to pull the armour off, I mean the cloak was easy just unclip a couple things here and there but everything else… oof this was going to take some time to get off.
Scratching my head in confusion I decided to just start fiddling around with my chest first and then carry on from there.
30 minutes later
"Oh my god is this shit just grafted to my fucking arms!?" I yelled out in anger as I had made some actual progress as I managed to both get my chest piece off and my legging. The only problem now was the damn Aeon Swift arm pieces off.
At some point I sat on my toilet's lid and let out a tired sigh, there just had to be an easier way, no really there just had to be.
Looking at the armour again I suddenly had a wild thought and just moved one of my hands under my armpit and with a quick yank of something my armoured finger tips had gripped onto I heard a loud and the armoured arm just suddenly split open and fell off with ease.
"...ARE YOU FOR FUCKING SERIOUS!?" I roared in complete frustration as I was ready to just chuck the armoured arms out the window but quickly decided against as these were pretty damn important to my own survival.
I am now seriously regretting not making myself a guardian.
With my armour finally off I was now left in what I assumed was my under armor fatigues, which was pretty much a black t shirt, black cargo pants and finally a pair of black socks.
"Really laying in the idea that black is now my theme colour now, aren't you?" I casually said to know one, but I was rather certain with the note I had read last night a ROB just threw me into this place regardless of… you know what nevermind I'm starting to see parallels between myself and what the ROB had done to me.
"Ok now what?" I exclaimed, I now had some time to myself and I was unsure as to use this time.
I was neither tired nor hungry. Instead I felt kind of energised, like I could almost do anything, well not anything I may as well try and think more practically.
I mean one of the things I could do would be messing around with aura, or at least try to mess around with it.
With that thought I quietly walked to the middle of the room and saw down cross legged and slowly tried to mentally make my aura appear, looking down at my head I tried to make it appear around my hand. Time passed for about a couple of seconds and I found myself quite disappointed at my attempt.
"Ok maybe I am going about this wrong." I said scratching my chin in thought, I had a couple clues and all of them but one have to do with the show, during my fight with Yang I saw how my Aura went down a good portion after my terrible attempt to reenact the Matrix dodge… maybe I used my Aura then? I mean how else was able to dodge that yellow rocket of flaming hate?
"But how do I do it again?" I said tilting my head in thought, but the only thing that came to mind was training, specifically the high physical stuff. "If I was in my old body I might have thought otherwise but now… well I've got a week until classes start for me to figure it out." I said with a nod knowing fully well that I both had time and was somewhat pressured to further understand the one thing that was going to absolutely keep me breathing and walking, also talking and whatever else could probably be salvage of a life I used to have.
"Does this mean I no longer need my anti-depressants?" I suddenly asked myself.
Suddenly I heard a knock and my door suddenly opened, turning my head to the door I watched as Glynda casually walked in with a small box in one hand and another bigger box floating right behind her.
"Hamish, I have come here to give you your uniform as well as some other additional clothes seeing as you only have the clothes you arrived in and also your standard issued scroll." Goodwitch then carefully placed the box down onto the ground while placing the smaller one on the closest desk.
"On your scroll you have your Student ID as well as your funds, now most teams would be given a large sum to pay for their everyday necessities, ammo or anything they choose but for students who don't have teams are given a much shorter amount of funds." Glynda explained as I nodded in understanding, well at least I had money and clothes for the while.
"Thank you for bringing me these things Ms Goodwitch." I said with a smile and polite tone watching how the woman just narrowed her eyes.
"If I hear that you are up to no good I will throw you into a cell, understand."
"Um… yes?" I said rather fearfully as the woman's eyes seemed to glow before she turned and walked out of my room shutting the door on the way out.
"...Well look who's not going to be dealing with random conspiracies for sometime." I said before I quickly crawled over to my new box of clothes, I wonder if they packed me a hoodie and some shoes?
Once I opened the box I quickly picked up the nicely folded uniform that sat on top before picking up some t-shirts, sweat pants, a hoodie and some dress shoes. Everything that wasn't the shoes or uniform all had the label and emblem of Beacon located around.
"Well at least I have something to wear… I wonder if I can take a bullhead to Vale and get some more essentials, I do have money now so I may as well." I said get the dress shoes on, moving back to my bathroom I looked at the belt with my pouches and without thinking about it I quickly picked it up and latched it around my waist.
While I did put my weapons in my locker I decided to keep the knife that was in my belt in, call me paranoid but just cause this is my room didn't mean I felt this was a safe space.
Quickly I picked up the dark gray hoodie and threw it on, hmmmm I love a fresh hoodie!
"So soft, so pure… I am going to ruin this by sweating in it everyday." I said with an evil like giggle.
Moving to the box that sat on one of my desks, opening it up I was presented with just the scroll and under it sat what looked like a pair of earphones that you usually get when get a new phone, but instead of cheap looking plastic these looked rather high end, holding the Scroll in my hand I quietly started playing around with it and found to be exactly like any old phone but is hightech, can be collapsed for easier storage and by the looks of it it doesn't need to be charged.
Just to test that theory I quickly looked around in the box but I found no other additions aside from the earphones.
"Well ok then." quickly I went about messing around with my new scroll, first looking around the apps until I found a maps app that showed the area of beacon or to be more specific the bullhead port, their times of when they are available to when they are not.
Seeing this I quickly memorised the route before fiddling around until I found a music App that seemed to have connected with Remnant's own version of spotify but instead of paying for ad free or premium there was nothing but just random music, playlists and all that other crap all for the low low price of free.
"Fucking Yoza!" I yelled out in glee as I was just given a massive library of music just for me to listen to, quickly I downloaded a couple playlists of varying genres.
Now I had everything I needed for my trip, oh this is going to be tedious but I had music to drown out my boredom, money to buy whatever I need and a knife in case I find myself needing to stab a bitch… lets hope I don't need to stab a bitch.
Walking out of my dorm I quickly went about trying a failing at locking my door for about a couple of seconds until I realized I needed to use my scroll to lock it. Well this was somewhat embarrassing luckily only I think about ten people saw me mess up.
"Not my fault I grew up in a place where your locks needed a physical key and not a digital one." I muttered under my breath as I quietly walked away while slipping the earphones into my ears and quickly went about playing one of my playlists.
Alright remnant lets see what kind of music you got going for you.
Slowly moving through the halls of the dormitory my attention shifts away from my current predicament, instead my focus was more on what to do, I was unsure as to when the next Vytal tournament but with the way everything looked I was most likely more than a month or so before it started up.
so I guess I'm pretty poggers until then, and this is yet another time where I wished I was a guardian and not a straight up knock off once again.
"Pretty certain a Ghost could be very damn well helpful for future events." I muttered while walking down the stairs until I was finally at the ground floor of the dorms where I saw many of my fellow students hanging around turned out the ground floor was pretty much the big ole common area with individual rooms for teams to take up and claim as their own, just to prove my point I walked past a room that had a plack with teams RWBY and JNPR placed on the door.
Suddenly the door opened up in front of me and I found myself dragged and thrown onto the ground, letting out an uncomfortable grunt I looked up to the assailant, who grabbed me and saw a familiar pair of crimson red eyes glaring down at me with a yellow flaming mane that just accentuate the rather furious look she had going for her.
I watched as the girl opened her mouth and spoke but the music that was blasting through my ears stopped me from hearing it, taking my earphones out I gave the girl a rather blank look.
"I'm sorry could you repeat that I had music in my ears." I casually gestured to said earphones in my hands still blasting what I think was heavy metal.
"Grr I said, the hell kind of fight was that." Yang growled out, obviously meaning the fight that I had with before. "That was bullshit you had me on the ropes but you just back out, what am I to you a fucking joke!?" Yang's voice started to pick up volume along with the flames of her hair.
"Uuuuuuh no?" I was definitely unsure as to how to answer that question, but the flames seemed to burn brighter telling me that was not the right answer.
"Oh for fucks sake, what do you want from me?" I asked giving up with trying to move around the obvious question she most likely wouldn't answer because most woman never just straight up-
"I want a rematch."
-Ok nevermind I stand corrected, that was indeed rather straight up if I do say so myself.
"Are… you certain, I mean maybe later when I start classes." I am now even more confused as to what just happened.
"Oh no I don't think you get it, I want you to fight me and not what you did today I am not going to accept any walk outs or surrender." Yang growled as she suddenly grabbed me by my hoodie collar.
"I don't think I'm going to agree with-oof!" I was suddenly thrown around with my back hitting something, I was unsure cause my arua flared up and took the damage.
"Don't care, tonight me and you in the Outdoor arena, be there or I'm going to drag you there myself." Yang said as she suddenly reached over and turned a knob and the wall I was using to keep myself up suddenly gave way and I was now outside the room and laying in the middle of the common room.
"Be there." Yang said before she finally closed the door with a quick slam leaving me to blink in absolute confusion.
"Yeah… No, I don't think so." I muttered aloud to myself before slowly pushing myself onto my feet, damn that girl was fucking annoying and what the hell did she mean by outdoor arena, does beacon even have one of those? "Great… I don't think I'm going to go anywhere near the city am I?" I asked myself to no longer feel up to going there anymore.
Suddenly my stomach gurgled, reminding me that I have still yet to eat anything in the last day and night, I wonder if Beacon's cafeteria serves pancakes around this time of day?
Later about sometime into the evening
I sat at one of my desk's specifically the desk I decided to call my work desk with my two new guns.
Ace and well Ace, with the red and black coloured hand cannon sitting on the desk and the black and white one sitting in the middle of the desk somewhat disassembled, I mean I managed to get the cylinder out and that was it.
Right now I was looking at my scroll with a frown as I tried to understand what I was looking at here, on the scrolls screen sat blueprint of my hand cannon and was looking at something that caught my attention.
I could theoretically swap out the original cylinder for one that could chamber actual bullets, which was pretty damn cool but I was worried if my gun could even handle such a sudden modification.
I mean one minute I could be slinging literal dust around and with one quick switch I could be chambering a bunch of I don't know 357. Magnum Or 50. cal And just start firing some straight up bullets.
Or I could just leave it as it is and instead of just using dust cartridges I could shove… is that shotgun shell? Holy shit I could turn my hand cannons into one shot shotguns, but hold on the barrel even big enough to allow such a bullet or allow pellets to go through without jeopardizing the gun?
"Ok this is starting to be too much for me." I finally spoke as I just quickly got to work putting the cylinder back onto my gun, only for someone to knock rather loudly on my door.
"Great timing." I mumbled under my breath as I forgo my previous plan of putting my gun back together and went to check who was knocking.
Once I opened the door I peaked my head out to see Yang standing at my door with a small group of people standing right behind her.
"What's up?" I asked blinking in confusion as Yang once again today glared at me with hate, well I am rather certain back in the common room that she was glaring at me with hate but now oh she looked livid to see me
"Where were you?" This was more of a demand than a request so I just rolled my eyes at her tone.
"Here in my room, where else would I be?" I was rather sarcastic with my response and Yang did not like that.
"No you were supposed to come to the damn Arena where we were supposed to fight." Yang spat out with a venomous tone while everyone else oooh'd watching in anticipation of a response.
"No you said that, did I make any confirmation? No apparently asking 'what do you want' is more than enough confirmation you need to start a bullshit egotistical match all because your fucking pride took a dive." I said as I decided to spit back with my own tone of venom and watched how Yang continued to glare at me.
"Now if you will excuse me I need to make a call to Goodwitch and complain that there are a bunch of random cunts casually standing in front of my room!" I directed that comment towards the group, with some of them quickly turning pale and started to disperse. "Yeah that's what I thought."
"And you." I directed my attention back to Yang who still glared at me. "No, I am not going to fight you unless its in class so pick up your pouty lips and FUCK OFF!" I roared out.
SLAM!
With that I slammed the door shut so hard I swore I heard the wood slightly crack from the force.
Stepping back I slowly started taking long deep breaths to calm myself down, I don't know why but I felt rather heated after that but once I calmed down enough I finally went back to my desk and slowly started putting my gun back together again.
This was not what I expected to happen today.
Chapter 3 end
