You sure you want to hear this. My story isn't for the faint of heart. If someone told you it was all sunshine and rainbows,they would be lying. Still here? OK. If you're ready,let's start the story of my life. The life of Izuku Midoriya.

(3rd person POV)

We start our story off in what can only be described as an otakus paradise. Posters of different hero's litter the walls. The desk is relatively clean except for a few notebooks scattered on it. On the bed lies the protagonist of our story,Izuku Midoriya. At this moment in time he is currently dreaming about many things that hold no importance.

The sun begins to shine through the window into his face. We see our protagonist slowly open his green eyes and blink away the sleep. Slowly he gets out of bed and gets ready for the day. Once he is ready he goes down to see his mom,Inko Midoriya,making breakfast. "Morning mom."Izuku groggily states. Inko looks up to see her son coming in.

"Good morning Izuku,breakfast is almost finished. Go sit down and wait." Izuku does just that. After finishing breakfast,Izuku walks to school. On the way he witnessed a villain attack along with Kamui Woods and Mt.Lady. He takes notes on the heros and continues on his way. (Play music for atmosphere if wanted)

Once he gets to school he continues about his day as normal. If you count getting verbally and physically abused on a daily basis normal. You may be asking yourself "Why is this allowed to happen? Why is he the one subjected to this treatment?". It all comes down to one single word. Quirkless. That one word ruined his life at four years old and continues to ruin it.

It took away his friends,sense of self worth,and to the majority of society his reason for existing. Why is that such a bad thing you may ask. I will gladly tell you. The world Izuku lives in is a superhuman society. 80% of the population possessed some uncanny ability called a quirk. It could be anything from stretching your limbs to having the strength to lift entire buildings with ease.

With the appearance of quirks came the appearance of people who used these powers for evil and selfish desire. Along with them came those who used their quirks to help others and stop the villains. These people would eventually be called heros. You may think the heros are good and always right while the villains are always evil and wrong. That would be incredibly narrow minded.

The world is not black and white. Some heros use their social standing and money to commit heinous acts while some villains are forced into their situation because of said heros actions or society does its magic. Some people get called villains because of the potential uses of their quirk even if they intend to become heros. The same could be said for heros. Based on how powerful and flashy someone's quirk is they are allowed to do whatever and get away with it.

This is the situation for Izuku. Because he is quirkless,everyone belittles and bullys him. He has no friends. Even his teachers do nothing to stop this behavior. Sometimes they even encourage it. Izuku takes this with a smile on his face because according to him,"A hero wouldn't let hateful comments and harsh actions get to them. A hero takes it and continues with a smile."

Because of this he has a habit of bottling up his emotions until he eventually snaps. During class the teacher has a stack of papers. "OK class,since this is your last year of junior high,you should start thinking seriously about your future. I am now going to pass out these career aptitude tests." Every student begins groaning at the thought of this. The teacher then throws the papers into the air with a smile on his face.

"Who am I kidding!!! You all want to be heros!!!!". Everyone began showing off their quirks for no apparent reason other than to do it. "Now now no quirk usage in school." The teacher reprimanded them halfheartedly. "Hey teach,don't lump in with these losers." Everyone turns to look at who said this. It is Katsuki Bakugo.

Katsuki is a blonde haired boy with red eyes who believes he is better than everyone and everything because of his quirk which let's him explode his sweat.(Don't know why someone with the quirk to literally explode things and has his attitude doesn't get called a villain but Shinso does when all he wants is to be a hero and has so many uses in hero work and other fields. Excuse my little mini rant.) Every student begins arguing with Bakugo about his statement while Izuku sits at his desk with his head down trying to be as small as possible. The teacher decides to stop the argument and be a jerk to Izuku by stating that he wishes to go to U.A. The room is silent for 2 seconds before everyone bursts out laughing and insulting his choice. Bakugo goes over the top and explodes his desk. Izuku scrambles to get away. Bakugo then proceeds to threaten him,placing a hand on his shoulder that starts smoking.He tells him to not go to U.A.

After class as Izuku is packing up,Bakugo comes and steals his hero notebook.He belittles him mockingly asking what use the notebook would be to him. Izuku sits there like normal and takes it before he hears a small voice in his head. "Why do you take this kind of treatment? Why do you do nothing?" Izuku is understandably confused about this. He thinks "I do this because if I retaliated,I would be no different than them. I would be doing the exact thing they do."

This seems to please the voice. The voice replies to Izuku with what sounds like pride. "That is what I had hoped to hear. I am glad you are finally able to hear my voice. Work harder and you may hear my name. You will know when the time is right." Izuku realizes that he has been sitting there for quite a while since when he looked up everyone was gone. He tries to think about what the voice could mean by "when the time is right". "What did he mean when the time is right? Why am I only hearing this now? It seems like he has been trying for a while so why now? And why do I even have a voice in my head in the first place? Should I tell anyone about this? Probably not because they might think I'm insane. I mean a quirkless kid hearing a voice in his head? They might think I am trying to get attention or convince myself differently about my status."

As he was walking he doesn't realize he is unconsciously releasing his spiritual pressure. Because of constantly being in danger because of the bullying and getting attacked since he was 6,he has finally generated enough spiritual pressure to see ghosts. As he is walking he starts to see what seems to be floating people with a broken chain attached to their chest. As this is happening he hears the voice again.

"Help them. Help them pass on and pass step one of the test. Be a hero." Izuku hears the voice speak as quickly as it leaves. He starts to panic because he has no idea what to do and what the consequences will be if he fails. He then realized that his panicking does nothing except waste precious time.

(Izuku pov)

I remember what the voice said:be a hero. But how? How do I be a hero when I'm quirkless? How do I help someone else when I can't even help my self? As I am thinking this I begin to remember something I had read on the Internet:"Inspiration comes from within yourself. One has to be positive. When you're positive, good things happen." I then realize that I have to be positive and help them or else I am nothing more than what everyone tells me I am:Weak and worthless. I am neither of those things. I am Izuku Midoriya and I have a purpose!!!

When this thought passed through my head I felt...something. I don't know how to describe it but I know it felt incredible. I felt a weight in my hand. I look and see a wakizashi in my hand. I don't know how I know this but I do and I feel as though this has been missing my whole life. I hear the voice again.

"Congratulations. You have obtained the will and power needed to complete step one. Now place the hilt onto their forehead and complete the task." I didn't question it because a lot of crazy stuff has happened to me today.

(3rd POV)

While Izuku is performing what we know as a Konso or soul burial,he is being watched by one Rukia Kuchiki. Rukia had just finished a job and was going to return to the Soul society when she felt Izukus spiritual pressure and went to investigate. When she got there she saw Izuku performing konso on several Pluses. This confused Rukia because she had never seen him before.

If he was a soul reaper she would have at least seen him but she hasn't. "How does he have a zanpakuto? I've never seen him around Soul society before nor have I seen anyone who looks like him so who could he be?". After Izuku finishes the konso he starts heading home again. As he passes through a tunnel,he hears a panicked voice. "Why did he have to be here? I'm lucky to have gotten away."

The voice turns out to be a sludge villain. The villain then notices the boy standing shocked near him. "A medium sized invisibility cloak. Sorry kid but I'm gonna have to take your body. No hard feelings right?" While this is going on Izuku isn't paying attention as he hears the voice again. "Prepare for step 2 of the test. Survive until help arrives to pass. Continue this path you are on. You will learn what you are after step 3."

Izuku then focuses back into reality to realize the villain is rushing him. At this moment his fight or flight instincts kick in and he shunpos away. This surprises both the villain and Izuku for almost the same reason. The common thought between the two is "How did I/he do that!?" Rukia watching this is shocked since he used shunpo with no training on the subject or any others. She begins to question this and how it happened. The sludge gets over his momentary shock and charges at Izuku again.

This time Izuku consciously tries to shunpo but doesn't get as far as the first time. The sludge notices this and tries to figure out where he will "teleport" next. Izuku is still confused as heck but isn't looking a gift horse in the mouth. Inside his mind we see a clear lake in the middle of a forest. In the shadow of the trees we see a figure leaning against it with a smile on their face. The figure proceeds to speak in the same voice Izuku has been hearing all day.

"He keeps surprising me. I guess this is how a father must feel watching his son. Continue to be a hero Izuku. Grow stronger." The figure then slowly walks away. Back in the real world the sludge tries one more time to grab Izuku hoping to finally grab him. This time when Izuku shunpos he ends up face first into the side of tunnel. After using shunpo 3 times Izuku is exhausted and has little energy left in him. The sludge notices this and grabs Izuku and begins invading his body.

"Finally! Little bastard's good at dodging but not good enough!" At this moment Rukia was about to step in but stopped when she sensed someone approaching. A very tall,muscular man with blonde hair with two bangs sticking up in the front. This man was All-Might,the symbol of peace. When he shows up he sees the villain struggling against Izuku to enter his body. All-Might proceeds to grab Izuku from the villain and perform a Detroit Smash,knocking out the villain and catching Izuku slightly.

Izuku seeing he is safe slowly succumbs to the darkness that is unconsciousness. When he opens his eyes he sees he is still in the tunnel with a blurry person above him. As his vision clears he freaks out noticing All-Might is standing right in front of him. "Aha! Good to see you up and about young man! I am sorry about what happened to you. I was chasing the villain when he jumped into the sewers. Apparently navigating the cities sewer system is harder than I thought!" As we can see All-Might is very flamboyant.(Getting reminded of a certain sound pillar.)

Meanwhile Izuku is having an otaku moment. "Omg (x20)! Holy wow I am standing next to All-Might!!!! I need to get his autogr..." Izuku proceeds to have an otaku moment within an otamu moment once he realizes All-Might signed his notebook. All-Might then starts to get ready leave. "Well since you're up and okay I'll ask you a question I have and then I have to leave."

Izuku being Izuku has a mini panic attack while looking for his sword. All-Might notices this and hands it to him. All-Might proceeds to ask him the question. "Why were you so exhausted? I didn't hear or see anything indicating you used a taxing ability so why?" Izuku starts questioning this himself because as far as he knows he just awakened his "quirk". He tells All-Might this and together they theorize that he instinctively used his "quirk" to save himself and since he isn't used to using it his already low stamina got drained super quickly.

Only two thoughts are going through Izukus head. "Oh my god I have a quirk!"(note the positive emphasis) and "Oh my god I have a quirk."(note the slightly worried emphasis) He is excited because he finally feels like he could have friends again but worried at the same time because knowing Bakugo he'll be angry thinking that Izuku was looking down on him for some reason that only makes sense to Bakugo.(Or as several others call him Thotsuki Bakuhoe).

Another thought passes through his mind. "Aw crap baskets." As all of this is going on All-Might is getting ready to jump away. Izuku pops back in to reality to realize All-Might has jumped. Izuku tries to shunpo to him in hopes of getting his questions answered. He semi successfully does so and grabs onto All-Mights leg. All-Might lands on a rooftop to put Izuku down.

"I get that your a fan and all,but using your quirk to latch onto me is a bit excessive young man." All-Might reprimands Izuku. Izuku proceeds to ask the question that has been bugging him since the moment at the tunnel. "Do you think someone like me,who doesn't even know how to use their quirk,someone who is weak like I am,can someone like me be a hero like you?"

Izuku blurts out,desperate to hear what his idol has to say about his dream. All-Might ponders how he should answer. Before he can a puff of steam appears and blocks All-Might from view. "Crap! Ran out of time!" passes through All-Mights mind. When the steam clears Izuku sees a skinny version of All-Might coughing up blood. Izuku is internally freaking out while externally realizing that the man looks a lot like All-Might.

Izuku asks what happened to All-Might and why he was so skinny and sick looking. This slightly surprised All-Might who then realizes it isn't that hard when you look at the obvious details. He proceeds to explain his injury and answer the question. "I hate to be that guy kid,but in all honesty,I don't think you can be a hero. Most children obtain their quirks at 4 and have years to train and get familiar with them. You have had barely any time and are already physically weaker then most your age. The amount of training you would have to do to catch up would break even the strongest of wills and bodies. Sorry kid." All-Might can see the anguish on Izukus face but felt it was necessary to tell him.

All-Might then says "It is okay to dream,but make sure those dreams are realistic,attainable. Sorry to burst your bubble young man." He then proceeds to leave the building,followed shortly after by a broken hearted,teary eyed Izuku. "I guess I should have expected this,but it still hurts to hear. No! Don't go down that road of self doubt and hatred. Follow the random voice in my heads advice and stay on the path of a hero."

As he is having a personal pep talk,he unconsciously follows the sounds of explosions to the scene of a fire. He looks up and sees a crowd of people. He goes up and asks what is going on. "Some villain has a kid hostage! The heroes can't do much since the kid's attempts to escape are causing more damage." Izuku then hears the mystery voice again. "You have passed step 2. One step left. Prove your resolve. Show your iron will of a hero. Show the true meaning of hero." Izuku focuses on the scene in front of him to realize two things. 1:the villain is the same sludge villain that had him trapped earlier and 2:Kacchan is the hostage.

At this moment in time something clicked in his head:I can save him. Izuku shunpos to Bakugo and stabs his sword into the villains eye. The villain screams in agony as Izuku and Bakugo have a short conversation. "Deku! The fuck are you doing here!?" Bakugo screams in his normal tone of voice which is angry. He's slightly confused as to how Izuku has a quirk and what the sword is but anger over being saved by him is more prevalent. "Kacchan,I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" As this is happening the sludge villain has gotten used to the pain and is now rushing towards Bakugo again hoping to take his body. Izuku sees this and shunpos Bakugo out of the way and gets skewered through the chest. Despite this he,much to everyone's horror continues fighting the villain. As he is fighting the mysterious voice speaks again. "You have passed step three. Even when you are bleeding out and going through the worst pain you've ever felt you focus on saving the innocent. You have proven your resolve. Say my name and awaken my true power." Both begin to shout at the same time "Raise your sword,Junsuina senshi!"

After those words are pronounced, a bright light and a gust of wind are emitted from Izuku. When the light fades Izukus attire is completely different. He is now wearing a black shihakusho with the kanji for warrior(戦士) on his back. His wakizashi is now a 36 inch long black nodachi with a silver hilt. On the side of the hilt is the kanji for hero(勇者). Everyone is surprised by this transformation. Izuku is surprised by the rush of power he feels.

Izuku hears the voice that he now knows as Junsuina senshi giving him advice. "Now that you know my name,there are many abilities to learn and train about. The one I can teach you the most about and that's the most useful at this point would be Funsai-ten/Shatter point. This will allow you to see exactly which point to strike for maximum non lethal damage since your opponent is human. More on that subject later. For now you need to figure out how to use this ability. Focus on him and only him. Think only of the fight,only of taking him down,focus on his presence. Then you will understand."

Izuku takes his advice and tries to do what Junsuina says. It is admittedly a little hard to concentrate because of everyone screaming at him to run away. He eventually gets it right and strikes the sludge villain in the other eye and twists the blade causing the villain to scream and writhe in agony. This causes the villain to lose focus on his quirk causing him to partially turn back to a fleshy human. Izuku capitalizes on this and stabs his arms and legs to prevent movement. This pain causes the villain to fully let go of his quirk and regain his full human form.

Izuku then shunpos behind him and neck chops him,knocking him out. Izuku can feel himself about to pass out but before he can we see a familiar figure appear ,grab Izuku,and disappear. The one thought on everyones mind at that point and time was collectively "I don't know what the fuck just happened but Imma get the fuck up out of here!"
