Welcome to Chapter Five! As Wyoming take a trip to Blood Gulch, Agent Texas and the sisters of our heroes Grif and Tucker catch a flight to Blood Gulch.
Eh, I seem to have an incapability of having a long-term plan for my stories, since I'm working on a private school RWBY/Red vs Blue AU, and as per usual, I'm flying by the seat of my pants.
Either way, I'm glad you all enjoy my work, and while I'm not narcisisstic, I'm happy that my stories are getting attention. Thank you all for reading this.

Agent Texas
1200 Hours
Okay, so what was bugging Agent Texas, the baddest bitch of Project Freelancer, so much? Was it the slightly damp smell the ship had?
No.
Was it the incompetent pilot that was trying to fix her ride to Blood Gulch?
No, but it was a part of it.
Was it the fact that a Scorpion tank was being sent to simulation troopers?
It should have been, but nope, it was the two young women she was playing chaperone to.
In reality, it was the brunette one who ticked her off. Apparently, she suffered a head injury at some point, and now she was colorblind and her thought process was out of wack, and the worst part was, she was a really dirty girl.
Of course, she displayed good intelligence sometimes, despite her raging insanity, but she was really addicted to anything sexy, and she was a loudmouth.
The other one, a short blonde girl, was an orphan whose home planet was destroyed by the Covenant. She was much quieter than the boisterous brunette beside her, so she wasn't a big issue for Tex.
Sighing in frustration, Tex looked at the engine to the ship, where the pilot was, and she almost pulled out her M6D pistol and shot the stupid bastard.
He hadn't even made any real progress in fixing the ship.
"What is this?" she asked incredulously.
"What is what, ma'am?" the pilot asked.
"What are you even doing?! You haven't done anything since you started!"
"Huh?"
"Oh, my God. I think I'm gonna shoot someone."
The brunette party girl, Kaikaina, if she remembered correctly, came up to the engine with an apprehensive look on her face.
"This guy really sucks." she said nonchalantly. "If that was me, this tin can would be up and running alrady."
"You really think so?" Tex asked.
"I know so. The Grifs are really good at this vehicle shit. My brother's better at this, but I can fix a Pelican." Kaikaina said, picking a wrench up.
"Alright. Show me, party girl."
Kaikaina got the pilot to leave, then she took his place and began to truly fix the Pelican's engine. As every little problem in the bird's engine was rectified, Tex made a note to keep her around for vehicle maintenance.
After it was fixed, the brunette got up and closed off the access to the engine.
"It's done." she said rather simply.
"Damn, girl. You could be a mechanic for the UNSC or something."
"I guess. Dex would probably kick my ass and send me back home in a heartbeat. He said he didn't want to lose anyone else to the Covenant."
"And you think he's in Blood Gulch?"
"Yeah! He sent me a message about being sent to a fake war for "sleeping on the job," even though he lost his whole team, oh, and then he had to go through the whole process of trying to save someone, even though they were gonna die no matter what!" Kaikaina ranted.
What the hell is wrong with you, Director? Why are you pulling good soldiers out of the frontlines for this?
"I guess we should get going." Tex said. "Are you able to fly or anything?"
"I love flying!" the brunette declared. "Sure, I really want to fly some kind of fighter one day, but I like Pelicans."
"Alrighty." was all Tex said before she allowed Kaikaina to go to the cockpit and take a seat. She looked into the cargo bay to see the quiet blonde girl sitting on a crate, looking at a picture of a blonde teenager in the UNSC Army's BDU, holding a DMR.
"Hey."
The blonde looked at her with a confused look on her face.
"Are you okay?"
"Uh-uh." she hummed.
"What is it?" Tex asked, placing an armored glove on the girl's shoulder.
"I miss him." she said.
Tex looked at the picture again, but this time, she saw a resemblance between the teen and the girl next to her.
"Is he your brother?"
The girl nodded.
"He took care of me after the Covenant destroyed our home, but we knew we had to fight back so nobody else lost their home or their family, so he joined the Army."
"That's good. Where is he now?" Tex asked.
"I don't know, but he said he got in trouble for something silly."
"Did it involve flirting of any kind?"
She laughed a little.
"Yep. He might me a good big brother that would never let me get hurt, but he's terrible about romance, and he hit on a colonel's daughter."
Tex facepalmed.
"Yep. That's ridiculous as hell. You think he might be here?"
"Maybe. So yeah, he's a really good brother."
"What's his name?"
"Lavernius Tucker.,
A moment of silence...
"That doesn't sound like a name that a blonde would have." Tex commented.
"No, it doesn't. What's yours?" the girl asked.
"Allison."
"That's a pretty name. I'm Jade."
"Nice to meet you." Tex said, as more of a pleasantry than anything else.
Before anything else could be said, the speakers inside the cargo bay came to life and Kaikaina spoke through the radio.
"Alright, bitches! We're taking off in ten, so let's get strapped in, and pray to God that we don't see any Covenant ships!" she announced.
The two women could feel the ship take off, along with the extra weight the Scorpion had on the ship.
"Alright, Blood Gulch, here we come!" they heard Kaikaina yell, and they were now in the air.
Lavernius Tucker
Blood Gulch, Nondescript Planet

"So, you're telling me that you're actually gonna storm up here and kill my CO?"
"You fucking bet! He probably murdered Donut and Sarge had to take him to Command!" Grif yelled from the comms. He and Tucker had set up a private channel to talk on when they were at different bases.
"Yikes. Why not Caboose? The guy's an idiot." Tucker asked.
"Wait, Caboose?!" Tucker heard Grif spit out a drink, which was likely beer. He saw a lot of it during his visit to Red Base.
"Yeah, what's so special about him?"
"The night New Alexandria was burned to glass, I was fighting a battalion of Covenant with my team and a lone Army trooper named Holly Caboose. She was the last one to go and she was really good, but in the end, they got her. She gave me a photo of her family and told me to find them and tell them what happened, and then she told me tomkick the Covenant's asses."
"Okay. So, you're saying that the idiot of Blue Team is related to a badass Army trooper." Tucker said as a statement.
"Yep. Also, my sister's coming to Blood Gulch with your Freelancer, so you better do her right."
"You know I will. Bow chicka bow wow."
"You are insufferable." Grif said.
"I'm serious. No harm will come to her, because I will treat her like my own sister." Tucker said.
"And how do you treat her?"
"Like she's the most precious thing in the galaxy that should be protected at all costs."
"That's the way. I'll talk to you soon."
Grif got off of the radio, leaving Tucker alone. The blonde simply whistled, pulling out a bottle of whisky to pour a glass for Church. He'd need the alcohol to dumb down the pain the Reds had in store.
Sarge
Red Command, Nondescript Planet

Sarge stood outside of the infirmary, watching the doctors work on Donut. This was a cycle that Sarge had gone through many times, and as a leader of an ODST squad, it was bound to happen. However, those times were caised by a war for the continued existence of humanity.
This time... it was over a false and meaningless war between people in different colors of armor.
Footsteps alerted Sarge to a middle-aged man in officer's clothes, causing him to stand at attention.
"At ease, Sarge." he said.
"Colonel, it's good to see you again."
"It must be. I'm sorry that your subordinate got wounded." Colonel Bitterson said.
"It happens all the time."
"But not in a meaningless war meant to train the pawns of a king's agenda." the colonel said cryptically.
"Right. I've only known the kid for a week, and now he's here, in extensive care after having a hole blown through him. The worst part, it wasn't even one of those dirty Jackals I so utterly despised. At this point, after seeing so many people die from them, even the very sound of a Beam Rifle going off is enough to bring back haunting memories."
"Right. How's your team holding up?"
"Grif and Simmons both promised to put a bullet into the Blue that shot Donut." Sarge replied.
"The idiot, or the A.I.?"
If Sarge had drink in his mouth, he would have spat it out. Away from the Colonel, of course.
"One of them's an A.I.?!"
"Not so loud, Sergeant. Yes, the cobalt one. He's named after Project Freelancer's Director."
"How do you know?"
"I have my ways, Sergeant. The Director's being investigated for war crimes and treason."
"Damn right. Anything else, sir?" Sarge asked.
"Yes. I made a request for your old armor, and I also requested better armor for your men, along with the Blue Team."
"Thank you, sir."
Bitterson left the hallway, leaving Sarge to mull over the information he just absorbed.
Good news, guys! I actually have a bit of a plan for Red vs Blue: Redemption! Anyway, for the story suggestions I made earlier, the RvBvRWBY series is going on hiatus until mid August for Shattered Eclipse and October for Insurgence, with a spin off crossing over with Star Wars in between.
For other things, I looked at a bunch of RWBY character studies, and the consensus? Blake and Yang are the worst members of team RWBY. Seriously, Yang's actions in the Yellow Trailer alone should've landed her in prison! And she almost got Ruby killed when they were young!
Ugh. I'm also trying to get an invitation to Archive Of Our Own so I can post my stories to it. That's all for now, and I'll see you next chapter.
