Egg yolk dripping down his head, Khaladore tries to keep a calm demeanor by taking deep breaths, but anger burns as clear as day in his eyes,

Seeing such anger in his eyes frightens Kaya immensely, "Khaladore?" She nervously calls out,

In the three years that Khaladore has been her butler, there has been only one time when she has seen such anger in his eyes and it was when they were attending her parents' funeral,

It scares her then, it scares her now,

Then before Kaya's eyes, Khaladore vanishes in a blur, "Khaladore! Please stop!"

Leaning out the windows, she frantically searches for him, but all she could see is the back of Usopp's head screaming taunts as he runs away,

"USOPP! STOP!" she yells,

Then she sees a black silhouette chasing Usopp, but before she can figure out what the black silhouette is, a hand grabs her shoulder and pulls her back hard, causing her to fall on her butt,

"We need to leave now!" Emily shouts and hobbles past her,

"Yes, before they're hurt." She replies,

Pulling herself up from the floor, she grabs her medical bag and medical supplies that are strewn all over the floor and hastily stuffing whatever she can grab into her medical bag, then she hears rustling leaves behind her,

Curious, she looks over her shoulder, and to her horror, she sees Emily standing on the frame of the window and lightly tapping the tree branch with her leg,

"What are you doing? I just treated your wound, you shouldn't be moving, you must rest!"

Not even acknowledging what she just said, Emily jumps onto the branch,

For a moment, Kaya's heart stops in her throat as the branch bends and groans under Emily's sudden weight,

"What are you doing? Please come back inside." Kaya pleads, but Emily ignores her,

"If you want me to come back, come and get me!" Emily shouts back,

Clearly, she will not listen, so Kaya tries to figure out a way to get her back in, looking around her room, she can find nothing that could aid her, she thinks about leaving her room and wait for Emily on the ground, but since the door is blocked by a massive fallen bookshelf, courtesy of Emily, the only option left is to climb after her and drag her back inside,

And so, Kaya climbs onto the windowsill, and onto the branch, she then slowly makes her way to Emily, muttering to herself, "don't look down."

Thanks to her small size, the branch don't creaks or groans as much, which makes it easy to keeps on crawling,

But halfway across, Kaya slowly realises how dangerous of a situation she put herself in and freezes up,

"What are you doing? Don't you want me to go back inside? Come and get me!" Emily yells at her,

She wants to yell something back or says something, but all that comes out of her mouth is a quiet whimper,

"A-are you stuck there?"

With no way to deny it, Kaya nods her head,

"Alright just wait right there and don't move."

Looking around, Emily racks her brain trying to think of a solution, and by pure luck, Emily spots Jaune rolling a barrel far off in the distance,

"JAUNE! OVER HERE!" She shouts at the top of her lungs,

Stopping in his track, he looks up and searches for the person that yells out his name,

"OVER HERE! HEY!"

Listening to her voice, Jaune turns his head in her direction and runs towards her, stopping in front of the metal fence,

"Emily, so that was you, why are you on a tree?"

"No time to explain, can you help us get down the tree?"

"Us?" Wanting to ask questions about it, but he quickly remembers the situation they're in and forget about the questions, "Ok, just give me a minute." He tells them as he tries to figure out a way to get over the metal fence,

Luckily, Emily sees what Jaune is trying to do, "I saw Usopp crawl in the bush to get through the fence, and when you get over here, try to find a ladder or something."

"Ok, give me a minute." Jaune says and tries to find the hole in the bush,

Turning back to Kaya, who is still frozen on the branch, "It's ok, I got some help, it's ok."

Kaya only respond with a weak nod and teary eyes,

"Hey now, don't cry, you'll be fine ok?" Emily attempts to comfort her, angry that she can't help much more, other than tell Kaya a blatant lie,

"d-did something happen to someone?"

Taken aback by the sudden question, Emily masks her confusion with a question, "What do you mean?" She was sure that she was the only one that saw corpses,

"khaladore,… he was so angry," last time i saw him that angry was at my parents' funeral."

"Maybe he just had a bad day." She then silently curses herself as it is dawn,

But before the conversation can continue any further, Jaune returns with a ladder,

After getting down from the tree, Emily leans on Jaune with an arm around his shoulder for support,

"Hey Jaune, I need you to do me a favour," Emily whispers, then gestures to Kaya, "get her away from here, I don't want her to be here, people died in that mansion."

Upon hearing this, Jaune panics, "What?! Are there any injured still in there?-" Nearly dropping Emily to run into the mansion,

"There are no injured in there, we need to get her away from here."

"Oh god,... ok fine, I'll get her to a safe place somewhere else but what do I tell her to get her to follow me?"

Racking her brain to think of an excuse, but all she can come up with is, "...uhhh."

"Um, excuse me." Kaya's voice snaps their attention back to her, "Now that we're down from the tree, please go back inside, you are wounded and shouldn't be walking around."

Before Jaune can utter any excuses to bail out Emily, she lightly elbows him, "ok Jaune change of plan, carry me with you and she will follow."

"Why don't we just let her stay here? It is much safer here."

Suddenly, Emily grabs Jaune's hoodie by the collar and snaps at him, "There are dead people in that mansion! I won't let anyone see them anymore!"

"Dead? What do you mean by such a thing?" Kaya asks with a horrified look on her face,

"Run Jaune!" Emily yells as she jumps on his back, "Run!"

Careful not to drop Emily, Jaune sprints away, but in the distance, both Emily and Jaune's hearts sink into their stomach,

In the distance, a giant black ship approaches.
