The second Midoriya woke, he was planning out his day. He had an important customer whose schedule was chaotic. For once, he'd be in an easy-to-access location with no one else around. This was the best time to meet up with him. He hopped out of bed and threw on one of his favorite t-shirts. It was a simple white shirt with the words "Business Casual" on them. He giggled to himself as he quickly brushed his hair. His joke shirts either made people laugh or groan, but that was what made it so fun! On the occasions he left the shop to meet with his clients, he made a habit of wearing more normal clothing. He didn't want to stand out, even if most people wouldn't notice or remember him. Midoriya sighed as he placed the brush back on the counter and headed to the kitchen.

A couple of construction workers waved as he walked past, and Midoriya smiled as he returned the greeting. Many would assume him crazy for leaving the door unlocked for the workers, but Midoriya trusted the Uraraka Construction Company. They were good at what they did. So good that several of his clients had noticed and requested the company name and number from him. The shopkeeper smiled as he turned on his coffee pot and placed a kettle on the stove. Business for the Urarakas' had picked up, and Midoriya was happy to have granted that wish for his friend.

Midoriya hummed to himself, closing his eyes and going over the details of his client's location. He would be at Dagobah Beach around early lunchtime, so it'd be best to bring some food along. Midoriya huffed as he pulled out the ingredients for a special vegetable soup and some sandwiches. The client was frustratingly good at not taking care of himself. The green-haired teen bustled about the kitchen, making snacks and packing them all into a picnic basket.

By the time he was done, it was almost 11 am. "Oh, I'm going to be late!" The shopkeeper wrapped the last sandwich and shoved it into the fridge. He grabbed the basket and a thermos of tea before walking out into the hallway. Midoriya didn't see any workers in the hall, so he put a hand to the side of his mouth and hollered, "I put some sandwiches in the fridge for you all! Help yourself to the lemonade as well!"

Several heads poked out of the new bedrooms and bathrooms. One of the workers grinned at the sight of the picnic basket and waved. "Thanks, sir! Hope you have a good outing!" Midoriya waved back and headed out.

One quick bus ride later, and Midoriya was staring at the trash-ridden beach. He walked over to an old bench and sat down with a sigh. It really was a shame what became of the place. He'd heard stories from his mom and his customers that the beach used to be beautiful. Families would come from all over to play in the water and bask in the sun. Local businesses thrived from the tourism the beach brought. However, that had been a long time ago. "Such a shame, isn't it, young man?" Midoriya glanced over at the gangly gentleman who had spoken to him. He was tall and lanky, with long blonde bangs framing his gaunt face. Overall, the man looked sickly. Midoriya could see the strain on the man's body from his jog. The teen patted the open seat beside him on the bench, and the older man sat down with a grateful sigh of relief.

"It really is, sir. I've heard so many stories about this place. I would love to see it the way that it was supposed to be." The young boy reached into his picnic basket and pulled out a container and a spoon. He held it out to his companion. "Here, sir. Why don't you join me for lunch?"

The sickly man shook his head politely. "I'm sorry, my boy. I have a special diet, so I can only eat certain food. Thank you, though. You are very kind."

Midoriya smiled brightly at him, holding the container out again. "I am aware of your special diet, Yagi Toshinori. This container is filled with a special soup puree of cooked vegetables. Guaranteed to taste good while being easily digestible."

Yagi coughed in surprise at being addressed so casually. Not only did this lad know his name, he was aware of his diet? The man wiped his mouth with a handkerchief before turning back to the kid. "How do you know my name? I'm certain I've never met you before."

The green-haired teen tilted his head curiously before his eyes widened in surprise. He laughed nervously, pulling the container back slightly. "I'm sorry! I forget how strange it can be that I am usually aware of people's names before they introduce themselves. It's part of my quirk." Midoriya popped the lid off of the container and placed the plastic spoon in it. "One aspect of my quirk has a sort of… omniscience to it. It can be a bit disorienting to people." The teen placed the container in the man's hands, then dug out a sandwich from the basket.

Omniscience? Yagi hummed in surprise. That was a pretty powerful quirk! "Wow, young man. That's quite impressive. Then I guess you foresaw me being here and came to meet me?" Yagi picked up the spoon and took a bite of the puree. It was actually pretty tasty!

Midoriya shrugged his shoulders. That was the truth. He had been dreaming of Yagi for a while now. The man's wishes were strong, and Midoriya was all-too-happy to grant them. However, the man was often busy chasing villains or running around UA and the police station. It had been hard to find the right moment to track him down like this. Midoriya smiled warmly. Well, he didn't have to let Yagi know that. "Actually, it was hitsuzen." He smiled at the older man, happy to see that he was enjoying the food. "You were destined to be here today, and I was destined to meet you. Just like you are destined to teach at the school, so you can find a successor for your quirk."

Yagi spat out his food, choking yet again. He turned to see the glowing green eyes of the young man watching him with concern. "W-what? I don't know what you're talking about."

The teen smiled mysteriously, eyes half-lidded and brimming with knowledge. "I know it's supposed to be a secret, but I am aware of who you are, All Might." Yagi gaped as Midoriya talked about his secret hero identity so casually. Suddenly, like a switch had been flicked, the boy was back to his cheerful self. With a happy grin, he took another bite of his sandwich before continuing. "Don't worry! I'll keep it a secret! The truth is, I'm here to help you." Midoriya gently placed his hand on his chest. "My quirk allows me to grant wishes for a price. I run a shop in the city where people can come in to have their wishes granted. You usually stick to less populated areas, though, unless you're in your hero form, so that's why I had to meet you here." Yagi still looked at him in shock. Midoriya continued to ignore it. "So, why don't you tell me your wish?"

Yagi opened his mouth a couple of times before he was able to actually speak. "My boy, I understand the omniscience, but are you serious about the wish-granting?" At his nod, the hero's panic skyrocketed. Forget powerful, this kid's quirk was downright dangerous! "My boy, is it okay for you to walk around by yourself? A quirk like yours is something many villains would do anything to get their hands on!"

The pro-hero shivered as the kid's expression turned icy. "People who wish to do me harm or use me for their own gain can't approach me or the shop. And if they hear about me, they'll completely forget it within moments. To them, I don't exist." The shopkeeper looked up at him with a strained smile. "I promise you that I am perfectly safe. I can avoid people as well if I don't want to grant their wish, and I usually try to do that for people with bad wishes." Yagi felt a little relieved at that fact. The kid before him was a kind and thoughtful young man. He'd hate to hear of anything bad happening to him. "It's not completely fool-proof, though. Villains can still find my shop as well as criminals if they don't wish me harm. If they tell me their wish and are willing to pay the price, I have to grant it." Midoriya's eyes narrowed, glinting with anger. "However, there are always consequences for those whose wishes harm another." Yagi felt a chill run down his back at the venom in his voice. He mentally added 'scary' to his list on Midoriya's personality. They sat together for a moment in silence. Midoriya shook his head with a sigh. He turned to the older man and smiled sadly. "In general, people whose wishes have been granted will forget about me. It prevents people from trying to use me to get more wishes granted, or from trying to harm me if the wish doesn't go the way they wanted."

That only brought up more questions in Yagi's mind, but he could ask another day. There was one big question that Yagi needed to ask. "So, I can see you because I have a wish?" The kid nodded at him, happy for the shift in topic. The older man hummed in thought. What wish did he feel strongest about that he could see Midoriya? "I guess the only wish I have is to find the perfect successor for my quirk."

The boy's eyes brightened again. Yagi held back a laugh at how happy the kid looked. "I can grant your wish, but I will need something in exchange." Yagi nodded, waiting with bated breath for the kid to continue. "To grant your wish, I will actually need two things from you. One now, and the other later." Midoriya pointed as his hair. "The best candidate for your quirk is not ready to receive it yet. It will be about a year before the time will come. I can keep your quirk safe in my storeroom until the time they are ready for it. At that point in time, I will call you both to my shop, where everything can be explained in privacy."

Yagi blinked in surprise. That was… a lot to take in. However, if the perfect successor was going to get his quirk, then Yagi was okay with it. "May I know who my successor will be?"

To Yagi's disappointment, Midoriya shook his head. "I can't reveal that to you yet. If you knew, you would try to focus on teaching them how to be like you. They need to be their own hero first. After a certain point in time, they will be ready to accept your quirk and learn from you." The boy held his hand out. Yagi looked at him in confusion before realizing that his soup container was empty. With a soft 'thanks,' the older man returned the container. "That's why I can store it for you. By doing this, you will be able to continue your hero work without limiting your current time limit or losing more power than you already have. Essentially, you and your quirk will be in stasis."

The older man blinked in surprise. "Wait, you can stop my time limit from shrinking?"

"To an extent." The kid looked out at the ocean. "Even with my quirk, I can't halt the degradation of your power. I can just limit its progression. The price would be much too high for that wish." Midoriya looked back at Yagi with a sad smile. "To keep your time limit at three hours, you are paying with your trust and patience. Both of which are very valuable. To pay for storage, I will need your book of hero jokes that was signed by Sir Nighteye."

What an odd request. The pro hero was momentarily surprised that Midoriya knew about that before chalking it up to Midoriya's quirk. "I don't have that on me. It's back at home." Yagi looked at him sheepishly.

Midoriya laughed and shook his head. "On the second day of school, you will meet a Miss Uraraka. She is my helper and will deliver the book to me if you let her know it's for me." The kid stood up, grabbing the basket and bowing to the pro hero. "I apologize, but I must be getting home. I have some construction going on at my house for the rest of the week, but you are welcome to visit my shop anytime after." He held out his hand with his palm facing up. "If you could give me a single strand of hair, I will grant your wish." Yagi nodded, pulling out his phone and one strand of hair from his head. He handed the hair over first, curious to what the kid would do. With a wave of his hand, a small translucent green bubble enveloped the hair. At the same time, a wave of green light passed over Yagi's body. The older man gasped in shock as the light faded as quickly as it came. "It is done."

The kid gently placed the tiny bubble in his basket. He turned, ready to head home, when Yagi quickly stood up and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. Midoriya stopped, looking over in surprise as the man pulled his phone out of his pocket and handed it over. "Why don't you put in your phone number? That way I can text you to chat and get directions to your shop. You've been pleasant company, my boy, and I would like to talk with you again."

With a bright smile, the teen added his number and address to Yagi's phone. "You are very pleasant company as well! It was nice meeting you, Mr. Yagi. I hope to see you again soon!" Midoriya waved goodbye, and headed back home with a skip to his step. Thank goodness he had the patio expanded. He saw it getting a lot of use in the future.

Midoriya's Quirk: Wishing Well
• Midoriya's quirk not only tells him the name of the person whose wish he will be granting, but also what the wish is, what would constitute as exact payment, what that person needs for the wish to be granted, and how that wish will be granted. This has resulted in a large storeroom in Midoriya's shop, filled with payments from wishes that have the potential to be useful in someone else's wish. This is one omniscient aspect of Midoriya's quirk.
• Can see strong wishes in his dreams. This includes naps. When he receives this information about a wish, he can see the general locations of that person and a portion of their routine for the day as a way for him to locate them. This is part of the omniscient aspect of his quirk.
• Midoriya's eyes will glow slightly when his quirk is telling him how to fulfill someone's wish or when he is granting someone's wish. While his dream tells him who has a wish, what their wish is, and where they will be, he has to meet the person to see how he can grant their wish and what the payment will be.
• His quirk is the reason why people can't see the shop and forget about him if they don't have a strong enough wish or that wish has been granted. This is because [REDACTED]. In addition, villains/criminals and those who want to use him for their own gain are unable to see him. Any mention of him will also be forgotten within moments. This is because [REDACTED].
• Midoriya must grant a wish if it is asked of him; he can't deny a wish unless the cost is something the wisher can't pay. He can avoid people who have wishes, though.
