God, where does the time go?

So much has happened in that time. So much. So fucking much. And yet, I always planned on coming back to this story. Why didn't I? Who knows. Life finds a way... to get in the way. At every turn.

I'm officially abandoning this version of the fic, in lieu of a newly revised edition, which you can find on my profile, and which WILL be completed by the end of this year.
