Chapter-2 Beginning of the new

We had moved to a small farming village in the mountains. It was very quiet and peaceful just like any ordinary farming village. Lady Hera had already moved to someplace else saying she would visit from time to time. Lord Zeus on the other end mingled with the people of the village and acted to be a normal old man and I was his grandson, so that is how Lord Zeus became my grandfather.

1 WEEK LATER

Bell was still adjusting to his new life he was still in depression since his parent's death. His grandfather seeing this had enough so he went and picked up books about heroes 'The Dungeon Oratorio' his favorite book. He sits next to Bell and started reading the book.

This was the only way Bell would be back to his normal cherry self but they could only do it for so long. Bell would usually go to train with a stick in the woods despite his grandfather's warnings to wait until he grew up to begin his training. But for Bell his hate and furry at the dragon was reaching a new level and almost forgetting the promise which he made to his mother. Alfia and Zard were on a errand and would only return after a few days' time so he could not hope for his aunt to stop the boy.

One such day after Bell grandfather had finished telling him the heroic stories and all of a sudden started ranting about a harem and romance.

"Bell if u ever want to become a hero u need to have a harem!" explained Zeus with so much enthusiasm that left Bell shocked his 3 year old brain started asking himself what a harem is and why all the heroes needed one.

"But grandpa what is a harem?" asked the confused rabbit

"Harem is a man's romance" as soon as he heard the word romance he knew he should not do what grandpa is saying because even though he did not know what it meant every time the word 'romance' was mentioned his Aunty Alfia would always gospel him and grandpa barley survived he could not take that risk .He had to kill the dragon so he just stared at his grandpa and said

"I am going to train in the woods again" saying this Bell left

Zeus just sighed as his plan to get him to stop thinking about the dragon and strength didn't work.

Bell was again swinging his wooden stick imaging it as a sword. He was swinging it around for an hour. After that he decided to go for a run to increase his stamina since he was getting tired fast and he used to see his father train for hours and not break a sweat. Then again one should not compare himself with those who possess falna and a level 9 adventurer at that.

It wasn't long before he got lost since he had only been in this village for a week. He came upon a clearing and hoped to find a way back to the village at this point Bell was panicking after all he was only 3 years old. He then heard a rustle in the bushes he became very scared he could not face monsters.

"GRANDPA IS THAT YOU!?" Bell asked hopefully then all of a sudden a green goblin came out on no wear. Now Bell was terrified he did not know what to do he just stood there frozen in fear. Seeing the opportunity the goblin attacked at the last second Bell unfroze to move out of the way so that he did not die. But he got a cut on his arm he screamed.

"AHHHHAHHHH!" he started crying now since four more goblins came out of there hiding places to attack the easy and defenseless pray.
'Aunty Alfia, Uncle Zard I am sorry I am going to die I Know I promised I would become a hero and kill the dragon. I am sorry grandpa I should have listened to u and waited , I loved it when u told me stories about heroes I wanted to become one, one that u could be proud of but now I am sorry. Mom , Dad I am coming to meet u I know what I promised I strayed from my promise I am sorry but now I can meet u and stay with u forever'

Now accepting his fate Bell waited for it to end and then all of a sudden a goblin came to end him he closed his eyes and prepared to die but that never happened when he opened his eyes he saw a silhouette of his grandpa fighting the monsters. Seeing his Bell started to cry he saw as his grandpa beat the pickaxe into one of the goblins skull killing it instantly. The next goblin came flying only to be hit right in the chest as its magic stone dropped and it disintegrated the .The third goblin kept his distance knowing what the man had just done to the other two so he jumped and hit forcing Zeus to block the attack .He then bought out a knife out of his pocket and cut across his throat killing it. Seeing what happened to the others the last two goblins turned tail and ran.

"HA Bell are u alrig..." he was stopped mid-sentence as he was tackled by the little rabbit.

"I ...AM SORR...YY…GRANDPA "

"…."

"I WILL LISTENT TO EVERYTHING U SAY AND I WILL REMEMBER THE PROMISE I KEPT TO MY MOTHER"

"…."
"I ...WILL…BE A….HEROOOO!"
Zeus was more than pleased Bell was back the cute innocent kind kid who dreamed about becoming a hero was back.
" I know u will become the greatest hero to ever live I see that much potential in u do not disappoint me "

"I … WON'T...!" still crying

"Now u re going to wait for your Aunt and Zard to come back and u are going to be at least 5 years old before any physical training starts."

"Ok" he had finally stopped crying

"But since u want to get stronger I will tell Alfia to teach u about the dungeon and train your mind if u will get any magic "

"…?"

"Basically u will be reading books about dungeon, fighting techniques and magic and u will use it and do physical training when u turn five"

" …..?"

"You just have to read books and learn from it "

Bell nodded his head vigorously and said "0k, grandpa why didn't u just say that from the beginning?"

Zeus had forgotten he was speaking to a three year old and he would not understand what the words meant. The boy did not know what romance was for crying out loud obviously he wouldn't know what fighting techniques and training of the mind was.

"Let's go home Bell"

"Ok..." smiled Bell happily holding onto Zeus s hand at least he was back to his normal self again.

When they got home they saw Alfia and Zard standing by the front door of their house. As soon as Alfia saw Bell she ran towards him and hugged him she then noticed that he had a cut on his arm and that it was made by a goblin and that he had been crying. She quickly reached into the pocket of her dress and took out a potion and poured it into his wound it healed quickly and then she noticed he had already fallen asleep. She then picked him up and opened the door of their house and took him inside and took him to his room and made him lie down in his bed.

Downstairs Zard was staring at Zeus like he had just ensured their death. Zeus was thinking why Zard was looking at him like that then suddenly his gears in his head started spinning and he started sweating .He hoped he would at least be able to explain what had happened but then again Alfia was very overprotective especially if it was family. He still remembered how she acted whenever her sister was involved and that overprotectiveness was also given to Bell. She had become extremely overprotective of him since his mother's death that means anything that messes with Bell will only live until Alfia found it. And Zeus was this thing he looked hopefully at Zard hoping he would protect his precious god. But looking at him sweating to make a small pond made him understand his present state.

There was no escaping her she was known as the demon of talent for a reason she will not show mercy and Zard even if he was not involved would be caught in the crossfire. Even if Zard tried to fight her she would easily defeat him even if they both are level 7. The only person who could stop her was Maxim Bells dad and he was long gone. Even the leviathan did not stand a chance against her most powerful spell and got one shot and she was weakened due to her illness. The only reason she is still a level 7 is due to her illness.

Zard finally saw Zeus looking at him with hopeful eye he said "Hope and pray we survive because I can't do shit against her" we could then see both Zeus and Zard praying even if Zeus was a god he was praying to the gods who were still in Tenkai to save his sorry ass.

Footsteps could be heard coming down and Alfia had just reached the living room and she was not happy the usually stoic expression was gone one that replaced it was anger and bloodlust and that was directed at Zeus.

"ZEUS "Zeus was scared beyond anything he almost pissed himself

"YOU BETTER HAVE AGOOD REASON FOR THIS OTHERWISE U WILL BE GOING BACK TO TENKAI"

Zeus got down on his knees and begged for mercy even though this was not his fault Alfia was in no condition to listen to any of it.

"Alfia I think we should at least hear him out" Zeus was happy that Zard his precious child was protecting him but that completely stopped when Alfia looked at him and said "If his reason is not god enough u will be accompanying this old geezer to Tenkai"

Now Zard was looking at Zeus hoping and praying he had a good reason otherwise he would kill him before he got killed by Alfia.

Zeus quickly explained what had happened and how he was behaving the past week and how he got attacked by goblins. Alfia sighed at this
"I really hoped he would not walk that path of hatred and power"

"He won't "Zeus said

This confused both Zard and Alfia." How can u be so sure? "They asked together

" I will never break my promise to my mother and I will be a HEROOO!" suddenly all three turned around to the one that made that statement they saw the determination in his eyes they knew what he said was true by only looking at his eyes.

"HAHAH you sure are his son alright "Zard proclaimed

Alfia just sighed knowing she cannot do anything as both Zeus and Zard started laughing at his proclamation and how he reminded them of this dad.

"Alright I shall teach u but it will not be an easy task I will be very hard on u "Alfia said to which little Bells eyes widened and he nodded his head u and down. Alfia could only think one thing o how cute Bell looked.

"I shall also teach u as I had said to u before and I am also going to be very hard on u "the smile Bell gave was enough to melt all of their hearts.

"We will not be teaching u about fighting and no training till u are five u will be learning the common language properly and if u are able to do that I will teach u how to read the gods language."

"I understand "Bell said "Now be on your way u are getting up at 6 tomorrow for your classes"

With that the rabbit went to bed.

Authors Note- And that is finally done next chapter is going to be training and arriving at Orario. For those who asked it is going to be a different story I guess an alternative and Bell will not receive a falna from Zeus he will begin his journey in Orario from lv 1 in Loki familia.

I guess I have given enough spoilers I don't know when I will be able to post the next chapter since my exams are coming up and I do this in my free time anyway I will do my best to finish it up quick.
