The lights were turned off and the living room was illuminated with candles surrounding the young couple sitting on the floor in the middle of the room.
"Nick, quit moving it!" Judy scolded in a hushed voice. The fox tried to keep the grin and laughter to a minimum, ducking his head a bit and looking down at the Ouija Board.
"I'm not!" he protested. The bunny looked unconvinced. "Maybe someone's trying to tell us something."
Judy sighed and pulled her paws away from the planchette.
"If you're not going to take this seriously-" Nick's paws went to her face and he gave her a kiss.
"I'm sorry, Fluff. Let's try it again and this time, I'll-"
Without warning, all the candles went out.
