"Okay," Nick began after making sure his candy pile was neatly organized.

Judy smiled. Of course the only time her fox would be organized would be with junk food.

"I'll trade you all of my Candi Carrots, three caramel bars, and my licorice rope for your peanut clusters and caramel apple pops."

"Keep the licorice rope," she countered, "and switch for the chocolate gems and we got a deal!"

"Done!" They made their swap as Skye pushed two small piles forward.

"I have six nugate surprise bars, more Candi Carrots, and some candy jewelry for Judy's peanut butter cups and Nick's coconut squares."

Nick and Judy looked at each other then back at her.

"Throw in your jaw breaker and jelly splashes and we'll talk," reasoned the doe.

Jack came into the room, still dressed in his skeleton costume, with his paws behind his back. "I win Halloween."

Skye rolled her eyes. "You can't win Halloween, Jack. It's not a competition."

The striped bunny grinned and pulled two huge bags from behind his back.

Everyone's eyes grew wide.

"Where did you get that?" demanded Nick.

"Old Otter Rivers," he said smugly. The old otter lived by himself in the creepiest house in Zootopia. No one, especially kits, ever knocked on his door. "He said I was the only trick or treater he had ever gotten and gave me every bit of candy he had." Both bags were upturned and a sea of candy spilled out. "All name brand! Tonight, we feast!"

The kits were in a sugar coma for a week afterwards.
