Diana walked up to Steve ready to tell him everything. She knew this was going to a hard conversation to have she just hope she does not hurt Steve too bad.
"Martha" Diana said to her daughter "Do you mind if I speak to Steve alone for a couple of minutes"
"Ok, mommy" the little girls say as she walks out of the garden to find something else to do
"Diana is there something wrong" Steve asked with a worry look on his face.
"Steve, I can't marry you" Diana says taking the seat right next to him "I never should have said yes, and I am sorry Steve"
"What do you mean you cannot marry me; did I do something wrong" Steve ask still trying to process the news she just told him.
"You did nothing wrong Steve the thing is Bruce came back and I still love him" Diana says looking away from Steve.
"Bruce, you mean as in the Wayne guy who had died five years ago" Steve asked
"Yes, he came back, and I still have a lot of feelings for him, and I want to continue were we left off" She says looking at him
"But why" Steve said angry "He was alive than that means he did not care enough to be her to help raise your daughter"
"Steve it is more complicated than you think, he had a good reason why he left" Diana told him in a calm voice
"There is not good reason why someone would leave you, to raise a child by yourself, don't go back to hi stay with me I will take care of you" Steve says
"I cannot Steve, I love him I always have he is the only person I want to be with no one else. I'm sorry" Diana says looking away.
"so, I guess this is it than" Steve says with a sad look on his face
"Yes, it is" Diana says taking off the ring and giving back to him "Thank you for everything" She says giving him a kiss on the cheek
Themyscira:
Bruce knew that what he was doing was crazy. Sneaking on a island that dose not allow men, was not the smartest thing he could be doing. He needed to see ceric, she was the only one who can send him back to his time.
Right now, Batman was hidden a bush just a few feet away from the place they keep their prisoners. The Island had guards patrolling all over the place it was hard even for him not to get spotted. Right now, they were people guards stand in front of the building if he wanted to get in, he needs to create a distraction.
Batman threw a bat-a-rang in a direction a little far away from the place. The bat-a-rang made a small noise which attracted to two guards. While they were busy Batman made a mad dash into the building quickly.
When he enters, he notices there was no guards which means they were on break or the next group of guards were about to come in and do their shifts. If Circe were here, they would put her some where she cannot escape.
He found her in the lower levels of the place chains around her arms and legs. The room did not have that much light and it looked old and dusty with rats.
"Well, isn't this a lovely surprise" The purple hair witch says
"Circe" Batman said
"It has been a long time since I have last seen you, how have you been" Circe says with a devilish smile on her face
"Enough games, you know why I am here, send me back now" Batman demanded
"someone angry, and even if I wanted to send you back I cannot" Circe said
"Why not" Batman questioned her
"Your amazon wife took my magic and locked it up" she says "So, I cannot do the spell that would send you back"
"If I give you back your magic, will you send me back" Batman says. Circe shakes her head yes to batman question. "Where would I find it"
"Your wife wears it around her neck as a necklace, if you bring it to me, I should be able to break it and get my power back" Circe's says
"How do I know I can trust you" Batman says
"You can't but I am your only hope and looks to me you have bigger problems to worry about" She says pointing behind Batman.
Batman turned around to see some Amazon behind him but before he could do anything the one closes to him punch him in the face knocking him out.
Washington DC
Hippolyta was walking down the hallway she was going to meet up with some of her warriors after they said they had something important to tell her.
"Sister, why have you called me" She said to the two woman in front of her
"There was someone trying to break out Circe my queen" one of the amazons say
"So, would be so crazy to do a thing like that" Queen ask
It was the hero who calls himself Batman, we wanted to tell Diana but we were told to tell you first" the amazon replied
"It is a good thing you did, Let not tell Diana yet I want to ask this batman some question" the queen says with a smile on her face.
