Chapter 13

Themyscira:

Bruce was giving his own room to help him prepare for the trials that the queen was going to give him. Bruce knows that these test were going to be hard no way the queen was going to go easy on him. He also needs to talk to Diana about his plan to return to his time.

Bruce did not have that many gadget on him, so he knew he was going to have to rely on his skills. Bruce knows that he was going to have to fight a bunch of highly skilled amazons or even worst a god.

As Bruce was preparing himself, he heard a knock on his door. He went to open and found Diana there with an anger look on her face, but before he could say anything she slapped him.

"What were you thinking" she yelled at him "Why on earth would you sneak on to Themyscira"

Bruce was rubbing the check she just slapped before he looked back at her "Diana I need to speak with Circe she is the one who sent me to the future"

"You should have told me instead of sneaking onto my home" Diana yelled still very anger with him

"I did not want to tell you because I knew you would against my plan that I have" Bruce said

"What kind of plan do you have Bruce" Diana says raising her eyebrow and putting her hands on her hips.

"I plan on making Circe sending me back to the second that I vanished form Star Labs so it will seems like nothing happen" Bruce told her

"Bruce you can not trust Circe so could send you even farther into the future or even send you to the stone age" Diana says "Why do you even need to go back, why can you not stay here"

Bruce took her hands in his and said "Diana I want to be there for you, be there when our child is born, watch her take her first step, and hear her say her first word"

Diana understands why Bruce wanted to go back he was angry at himself for getting sent here for not been there for her when she needs him the most. Diana hugged him to let him know that it is ok that he should not blame himself for what happen.

Themyscira's battle grounds

There were many people all gather in the arena ready for the fight to begin. The Queen and her two daughters were sitting in a special section. Diana had an angry look on her face, still mad at her mother, Hippolyta just ignored her daughter and Donna was focused on Martha who was sitting on her lap.

"I cannot believe you did this mother" Diana said with her arms crossed

"The male is the one who agreed to this duel, who am I to stop" Hippolyta says

"He only agreed to it because he had not other choice you were going to throw him in a cell for the rest of his life" Diana say her angry rising

"Well, it is too late now" Hippolyta said standing to her feet to address her people. "Amazons we gather here today for a duel between two warriors" the Queen says as the crowd cheered

"Representing Themyscira is very own Artemis" queen said. Artemis was dress from head to toe in armor, her hair was pulled back into a pony tail, and she have a wicked smile on her face. She was carrying a sword that look like it was freshly sharped in one hand and a shield in another.

Diana knew Artemis was a tuff fighter, she was second best fight on the island right after her. She also knew that just like her mother Artemis did not like men and she hated Bruce the most. Bruce was in the fight for his life.

"Her opponent will be the hero who calls himself batman" The Queen say as batman stepped onto the battle ground, he received hatful language for the amazons as well as having stuff throw at him. Batman was wearing his uniform he had chosen none of the weapons the queen had offer him.

"Mother please do not do this let me take batman place" Diana says trying her best to convince her mother to let her fight.

"I can't not let you do that Batman has already made his choice if he loses, he will be punished for break the laws of Themyscia" the Queen says before she turns towards the two fighters

"Are both fighter ready?" the Queen ask, both fighter give her a nod "Than let the match began" The queens yells to everybody.
